Something went wrong yesterday
Lottery Bot didn't Draw winners. When it was supposed to Draw, it didn't. A quick "~lottery next" in Chatter Box showed it was set to Draw 2 days later. Until now we don't know how that happened. It could have been adjusted by a Mod, or some other failure.
Either way, yesterday's Draw was skipped.
Lottery is now set to Draw tonight, just under 12 hours left. Total pot is now 42 mBTC. Prizes are 25, 12 and 5 mBTC (and go up when more Tickets are sold).

On the last page, user: karekas33 follows exactly the same post pattern, but he did actually do as the giveaway instructs. He could be the Genesis Alt (TM Timelord). Going through his post history, I was surprised to see he typed a few real messages. So I entered them into Google, big surprise, it's copy/pasting: I banned him and PMd cyrus to look into the others. Thanks! I see the bans in modlog now. I'll update my post with it. 20 out of 22 banned. Games and Rounds really should be a sub board where posts in there don't count towards activity or post-count because it's being massively abused by farmers.

It's so easy now to copy/paste the same post over and over again while being "on topic" in Games and Rounds. @Lauda: Can you link/explain the different kinds of bans in the OP? BadBear explains it, but I had to search for it: Autobans. Isn't what it sounds like, it means someone pressed the ban button, but it's automatically carried out, as opposed to be manually entered. Though there is a mod or two running scripts because of the spammers. This results in the message You were banned by a forum moderator, email xxx. Both global mods and admins use this, so it isn't a guarantee it was a moderator, just more likely. I use autoban instead of manual bans for permanent bans because it's faster and more efficient. All bans in the modlog are autobans, and permanent.read more |

Update: bans from modlog in purple.For a few days my giveaway-thread didn't have much Alt-spam. Today they returned in full force. They don't follow the rules of the giveaway, they cheat by trying to join with many accounts, and they basically just spam the thread. They usually post in a row, and if you check their post history they do the same in other giveaways. All accounts use all the same giveaways only. Its hard to believe there are many whales out there that will be losing the massive sums they have in the past. How much of the profit (82% more than EV) came from unlucky whales with very high bets? And how likely is that to happen again since Max Profit dropped to 37 Bitcoin? I've seen it higher than 400 Bitcoin at some point. |

I won't really call it a hard fork, it is more of a soft fork to help miners do their job faster. And it won't have a negative impact on the price of bitcoin.
^^ Agreed. It could also be very good for Bitcoin: at the moment it can't grow further, as it can't handle more users doing more transactions. More users means a higher value, which benefits miners again. |

Don't get my wrong: I like the idea of cryptoshares, but I also think this ICO misses out on important details. And it is important to be able to discuss concerns in an open and uncensored forum. I've asked some questions too in Dean's thread, they didn't get deleted but didn't get an answer either. If you were to have posted your questions without the negative and jealous personal attacks and accusations that you have constantly given for 2 years complaining and bashing every decision I have made with BetKing I would have answered you. I don't know what happened between you and chazley in the past. As an outsider, I just read his post and it seemed like valid questions to me. In chazley's post, I don't see any "jealous personal attacks and accusations". If that happened in the past 2 years, I can imagine it's on your mind. But if outsiders don't see it in the post, deleting it only raises more concerns. Now back to the subject Say it all works out, and 6 months from now, I buy BetKing ICO tokens on an exchange. Then, a month later, dividend is paid in Bitcoin. How is that ever going to reach me, if my ICO tokens aren't connected to a BetKing account anymore?
