261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin market ever get saturated? on: January 10, 2018, 09:24:34 AM
to the point where there wont be any new coins that will have mooning potential. I am asking this because currently I dont have enough money to make huge profits since I am a college student. What if I started investing heavily in coins in 2021. Will there be any new coins with mooning potential in that year(and in coming years)
Not possible, many coins are dead or life in support with no chance to pump or increase.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think alt coin market will crash? on: January 10, 2018, 09:23:37 AM
Some people think it won't crash, other has been saying "tomorrow" for the past years.

But looking at the gains the last few months its hard to see this continuing for years to come. Can there be a long (3-6 months) bear market now to correct or is crypto too hot and will increase crazy up til implosion?

I'm thinking maybe 6-12 months of crypto craze left. Then crash (90% of coins loose 90% of value) and a few years of bear market before successful crypto projects starts making money. Pretty much .com again.

What do you think?
There will a crash, I know sure about it. Just don't know when.

264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt coin to invest my 0.000520 BTC ? on: January 10, 2018, 09:21:53 AM
Huh Huh I've  been on thinking where to put this very little investment of mine. Volatile Alts or Slowly Increasing Alts.?
Invest in some new altcoin would yield better chance with such small fund.

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: January 06, 2018, 07:19:36 AM
This is indeed not a scam, but they surely does not have much to offer. Every few days, they either start some stupid petitions to be listed or they give some MOU lollypop to pump the price. This is getting ridiculous. Indeed the ones who invested during ICO got their returns. But thats all there is in this coin. Whats the point if the price doubles but in the meantime, other alts are going to the moon.
Yes, only those from ICO phare profit from this. Any new user wants to buy it will get some risk.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with Atlcoin? on: January 06, 2018, 07:17:08 AM
Hello guys,

As you have seen the BTC has dropped from 20000$ to 16000$, and everyone knows this is a necessary adjustment.
Recipe:
-BTC up ---> Altcoin down
-BTC down ---> Altcoin down
-BTC stability ---> Altcoin up.

But one thing is that almost altcoin is not go down or reduced very little although it has been greatly increased in crazy December.

What is your next prediction if BTC up again?
Altcoin up or down or stability.

A bit cheat but if we take a look at how altcoin with the recent BTC up, I said altcoin becomes stable.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gridcoin (GRC) - first coin utilizing BOINC - Official Thread on: January 06, 2018, 07:15:49 AM
I had for several months 100 GRC on my laptop which I kept open almost 24 hours (the Boinc was also running there, but now it's mining almost on 0 level). So it was staking but I go nothing from staking.

Yesterday I bought 583 GRC and my Mac wallet, but it's not staking now (May be some time needs to pass, as only recently the wallet downloaded all transaction history).

On Steemit somebody suggested to me, that in order to get something from staking the necessary balance starts from 2000 GRC.

Trumpman, I upvoted all those Steemit posts
You get it right, net world weight is too much so if you don't have the bare minimum, it will take a long time to get stake reward.

Do we have a joint POS pool?
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: January 06, 2018, 07:13:26 AM

274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: January 06, 2018, 07:10:39 AM
What an increase, congratulations to the holders that have been in for a while. Trying to decide if now is a good time to enter or not, volume seems to be building nicely..
Yes, still bought a bit of it because I think it will increase more.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any predictions on XRP for the next days? on: January 06, 2018, 07:09:22 AM
Been following the charts and it keeps dipping. Got @ $60+ when it went up to 3.5. Bought at 3.2 afterwards, now dipped at 2.7. Should I hold for a few days? Thanks, and sorry if anyone asked the same question regarding XRP.
You bought in too deep when it on pump. I think it will be dip a little more.

Will XTRABYTES (XBY) Be A Top 10 Cryptocurrency By The End Of 2018?  Why or why not?

With all the recent developments coming from XTRABYTES, could this all-inclusive platform push XBY into a top 10 spot on CoinMarketCap by the end of 2018?

Anyone who hasn't heard of XBY yet can read their Announcement.

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE VS Ethereum on: January 06, 2018, 07:06:23 AM
RIPPLE Corrects 20% And Still Stays On Top Of Ethereum -- Interesting Thoughts

Ripple is correcting 20% today after a crazy stellar run up the day prior, rallying over 60%. This heavy pullback is normal and was to be expected. What's crazy to see is if Ripple will hold on to the #2 spot in the crypto market cap space.

My honest assessment is that it's another pump and dump scheme right now and just has the momentum. Ethereum is actually more utilized and has more utilization use cases than Ripple.

One thing Ripple does really well is using a new distributed ledger instead of using a blockchain. This effectively makes transaction speeds much faster, cheaper, and makes it so all the nodes don't have to store the entire blockchain data.

Overall it's fun to see these two battle it out. I think a lot of the growth of Ripple right now is in anticipation of Coinbase adding it as a traded coin. This will definitely increase volume, so should keep Ripple moving along. The drawback to this however, is that it's artificially pumping the price up so things are actually already priced in. This means the moves to the upsides aren't going to be as great since this anticipation has already become something everyone knows and is pricing.

Ripple is still more than 10% on top of Ethereum which are both at least 75% ahead of the fourth place coin which is Bitcoin Cash. Safe to say a change in 2nd and 3rd doesn't really do much.

Since Litecoin is a fork from Bitcoin and actually is an improvement in my mind, I think this could ultimately be a sign of Bitcoin's fate? Litecoin maintained 2nd and 3rd positions for a long time and is now struggling for 6th just ahead of IOTA which is still a token.

Alrighty, that's enough rant for now. Let me know your thoughts on Ripple vs Ethereum!!!
Did something happen to it right now?
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Coins for 2018 you need to HODL! on: December 27, 2017, 01:38:03 PM
1) Stellar Lumens Currently 25c each
This coin has been on a monumental and unrelenting march upwards. The news coming out is thick and fast, the algorithm is great. Im betting on $1 by February

2) Funfair Currently on its way down following a lackluster announcement, however everything about the company behind this, their releases, their progress, the guys involved lead me to believe this will be a big hit once they launch a commercial product. Can easily see this being a dollar or more this time next year.

3) Binnance Coin - 4th largest exchange, and an ever reducing supply from their buy and burn policy. Unless the exchange goes pop, this can only go up long term

4) Waves - Nothing but good things coming from these guys, if they get their decentralised payment and cashout system working, it will be an absolute game changer.
Right, just from the Subject I was thinking Stellar Lumens and then see it in number one on your list. The coin is good and now I can confirm many have over the same ideal like me.
