261  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 04, 2024, 04:11:34 PM
Perhaps you could distrust or tag them in that other forum if you have an account there. it's a totally different forum from this one. The forum you are talking about has much stricter rules regarding account ownership. In fact, they don't even allow owning multiple accounts there, so I don't think account sales will be rampant or an issue.
262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO does't let me to use my wallet on: February 03, 2024, 09:49:24 PM
I am not a CEX.io user but based on what I have observed in the past, especially with their forum representative account, they are quiet very responsive and in most cases the outcome is positive. What I would suggest is you just be patient a bit if you already contacted or PMed their forum account. They will try to expedite the process and get the feedback to you as fast as possible.
263  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit.store card on: February 03, 2024, 08:52:54 PM
From what you can read, some have a good experience, others not so much. Finally, those who have already used this service, what do you think of it? Something recommendable, or to use with great caution?
Use with caution. I haven't faced any problems yet, so I don't know how good their support is in case there is an issue, but some members had had delayed help. I even used it today via the Binance marketplace to subscribed for some IPTV service. The transaction was smooth.

Please beware of the constant changes they make, as pointed out by dkbit98
264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SlowMist reports 80% of X comments related to phishing software on: February 03, 2024, 02:59:39 PM
seeing how rampant these scams and bots are on their platform now, I have a feeling they don't really care as long as they get paid for the ads these scams post. also, if I remember correctly their "solution" for it is to start charging people to use their platform(which I think is stupid).
Speaking of paid ads, the scam is even worse on crypto twitter while I am on the mobile app. On the web version, I don't see the ads, maybe because my browser blocks them, but on mobile it's so bad I keep seeing the trading signal ads on my Feed and different threads. The trading signals are obviously a scam.

In a day I can block over 20 accounts, but a new account which a similar ad just keeps popping up. I have reported very many ads before, but nothing has changes.
The ads look like this https://twitter.com/carolpultz/status/1729623979386974530

265  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confiscation in the amount of $4400 on: February 02, 2024, 09:51:27 PM
It's awkward that they just choose to launch a signature campaign here recently instead of resolving the issues they have vs. some complainants. On casino guru, they already 19 complaints that have been opened against them.

If they keep ignoring such issues, then the signature campaign they just launched will be pointless, and it will just complicate things further.
266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message from bech32 address on iPhone on: February 02, 2024, 08:59:27 PM
I don't have iPhone to confirm it but Mycelium wallet should be able to do it,
The maintenance of iOS version of Mycelium wallet seems to have long been abandoned. The Last bug fix was January 2022. If OP is going to import a wallet into the mycelium app so that he can sign the message from the address, then he is not going to be able to do so on the current mycelium iOS app.
There is no option to import.
267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SlowMist reports 80% of X comments related to phishing software on: February 02, 2024, 08:23:51 PM
X seriously has a lot of work to do. Reading replies from a crypto related post is completely annoying lately. All you see are spam accounts either shilling fake tokens or sharing phishing links. I miss the old times when the engagement was organic with no annoying bots like it is right now.

Even when you try to follow trending topics or hashtags, all you see is phishing link or airdrop spam on the feed. They should borrow a left from reddit perhaps.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Spot Grid Bot on: February 01, 2024, 09:56:33 PM
Hate to break it to you, but a using a bot does not mean that you are going to make automatic profits. Those grid bots work well in specific ranges of markets, especially the sideways markets. When the price gets out of range, that is when things get ugly

You need to first identify a favorable trading pay and then a good entry and exit strategy. A bot should just be able to automate your strategy when you are way from the screen or exchange not look for profits for you.
269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confiscation in the amount of $4400 without any reason on: February 01, 2024, 09:50:07 PM
Did you access their website and place sports bets from Russia? If yes, then you have violated their terms since, according to their ToS, sports betting and live betting is not allowed for players from Russia and, unfortunately, they have the right to confiscate your money and block your account.
See:
2.1.      Any kind of sports betting or live betting for players from Russia is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to confiscate funds and block an account if it is proven that sports betting was made by a person located in Russia.

Not trying to blame you or anything since it's pointless at this point but since you were trying to find a good bookmaker then the least you could do was to check their reputation before depositing. I hope they will let you at least withdraw your initial deposit.
That's what they should have told him if that was the case, but they didn't. They said they blocked his account due to fraudulent activity, which is something so broad. Could have been multi accounting, bonus abuse etc
Yes, OP was careless not read through the ToS thoroughly, but I also don't like casinos that do not take up the initiative of geo-blocking users from restricted countries.
270  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shffle has locked my account and is not allowing me to withdraw the 0.12 ETH on: February 01, 2024, 09:41:35 PM
[...]
Based on the evidence presented, though limited, you are a cheat, and you haven't even bothered to show us why you think you are innocent except demand for what is left in the account. I believe they shouldn't let you withdraw any funds.
You have already abused the casino with multiple accounts, so they are right to block the accounts plus the funds in it. Stop cheating.
271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 🌌How to put emojis on the messages? on: February 01, 2024, 08:59:30 PM
🌌How to put emojis in the messages at the bitcointalk?
Depends on the kind of device you are using. A side from the inbuilt forum emojis that are limited. You can get emojis from windows using a shortcut key already provided by another member about. Ubuntu has an app called characters where you can easily copy smileys and emoticons, and you paste them on the text you want to post.
272  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confiscation in the amount of $4400 without any reason on: January 31, 2024, 09:31:23 PM
They claim that the past case was an attempt to blackmail them, lol
No sure if this supports their case with the continued scam accusations on them in different platforms. From what I can see, OP has a very thin chance of getting his money refunded because most of the time such scammers are shameless.

OP always research about a casino before you deposit money. Do not be blinded by sweet deals and bonuses.
273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shffle has locked my account and is not allowing me to withdraw the 0.12 ETH on: January 31, 2024, 08:49:09 PM
Hello, I want to clarify that I only have one account, and I am willing to undergo any authentication verification. Here are my recent deposit and withdrawal records.
You still haven't responded to one of the most pressing question which could help use zero down to what could have been the cause of you getting linked to multiple accounts, that is if you are genuinely innocent.

Did you use a VPN service to register and play on Shuffle.com?
Do you have any family members registered to the same site and using the same internet as you.
274  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: January 29, 2024, 11:50:08 PM
Hello @eXch.cc

Not that it's a serious matter at the moment, but I am just curious and thinking. Your x.com profile is named after a one Sarah Nugent (https://twitter.com/exchcx) with probably her profile photo or perhaps a fake one. I don't know. Why Sarah Nugent? Is she a representative? I hope it's a fake.

If indeed she's a real person out there, don't you think this might endanger her, given how hell-bent law enforcement is towards services that resist their directives?
275  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: user ALIMWENZA on: January 28, 2024, 09:52:04 PM
Thanks for taking your time to record the conversation, and I can confirm that it's indeed the same as what you had post earlier on. I am going to tag the accounts. Please follow what SFR10 suggested regarding the type 2 or type 3 flags. We shall support them. In a meantime, I am going to create type 1 flags on the involved profiles.
276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why are 'B' Crypto Exchanges Dominating the Top 10 and 15 on CG and CMC? on: January 28, 2024, 09:36:33 PM
Here is a clue

Binance - BTCinance from Finance
Bitget - BTCitget --> get bitcoin
Bybit - byBTCit --> Buy Bitcoin
Bitfinex - BTCitfinEx
Bingx - BTCingX
Bitstamp - BTCitstamp

As you can see it just a marketing stunt and also having the name associate with the product make it easy for newbies to identify. There are many more, Bitmex, Phemex, Okex As for the choice of exchange, it depends on your preference.

What are your most important parameters when looking for an exchange? Fees? KYC? Past security record? Effectiveness of customer support?
277  Economy / Lending / Re: Need small transaction fee on: January 27, 2024, 12:48:21 PM
I just need it to cover the fee hence why it's really small.
Sure, I still need the loan and will repay as stated above Smiley
Working on it

Edit:

278  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ACN trading platform: legit or scam? on: January 27, 2024, 12:28:22 PM
[there's something I'd like to add now as I forgot to mention it when I started this thread: one member of the whatsapp group called my attention because of his phone's country code which is the same as mine so I decided to talk to him since he keeps following signals daily and posting screenshots of his profits; he says he has already successfully withdrawn profits from this ACN trading platform several times...he is one of 96 members of the group so I wonder if he is just a regular member like me or part of the scam...]
They could be part of the scam. Getting temporary numbers registered on WhatsApp isn't hard. I have been in and out of trading since 2017 and one thing I know is that there is no easy way out. You have how to learn trading and doing technical analysis for yourself. Almost all trading signals, VIP groups, AI trading signals or whatever they call them are scam.

The reason they keep posting "successful" trade is so that they can lure you into depositing your money with them, and that's where they will get you.

I can't afford to lose my funds so I will have to look for another trading solution, I just don't know which...
You have to do the trading yourself, brother. Avoid looking for an easy way out. That's where they end of scamming you.
279  Economy / Lending / Re: Need small transaction fee on: January 27, 2024, 12:10:21 PM
Hello, I need to swap tokens but I don't have the BNB to cover the fee. Need $3 worth of BNB(BEP20).
Will repay $3.3 in BNB after my swap is done. Thanks (:

I have some BNB on my Binance exchange. I am not sure about the withdrawal fee, but I believe it's very low.  If you still need it, just alert me here, and I send it to you.
280  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please Help on: January 26, 2024, 05:19:34 PM
Are there actually amy legit AI Generated Trading Platforms or am I just been really nieve?
AI is the new hype word being used by scammers to lie to newbies. I don't of any fully functional AI powered trading platform. If there is any then, it's not known to the public. What i have seen are bot that are used to automate your trades but even using bots requires you know what you are doing such as your trading strategy etc

If you don't know how to trade, better learn to do it for yourself with practice. If you don't have time to trade, then learn some long term investment strategies like DCA and then use them on reputable platforms.
