1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 22, 2022, 08:57:49 PM
I was surprised to see that Manchester city coach Pep fielded a strong team with Haaland starting and also having the first goal to give city the lead but Liverpool didn’t have their best starting eleven but I think the weren’t too bad and came back with the equalizer, personally it was a good first half.
Nothing surprising, especially for fielding players like Haaland who never participated in the world cup. It's a good game to set up the tempo for the Premier League restart, which is just a few days away.

What makes it look like Manchester City fielded a strong side is because they have a good squad depth
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT BEP-2 on: December 21, 2022, 09:59:48 PM
Thank you so much for your reply.
But, Trust Wallet has it: https://www.wjsnews.com/how-to-convert-usdt-to-smart-chain-on-trust-wallet/

Any idea?
it's USDT based on Binance smart chain (BEP20) not BEP2. As far as I know, Pancakeswap supports Binance smart chain, Ethereum network and Aptos

Here: https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x8fff93e810a2edaafc326edee51071da9d398e83 but the last 24-hour trading volume is 0 USD LOL. Not sure how you will do it
1184  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptocurrency financial management service — Passimpay.io on: December 21, 2022, 09:50:53 PM
- Anonymous, no KYC
Anonymity is more than just no KYC. Your website still collects user data according to the privacy policy. Worse still, there is mandatory sign up. Don't tell me data will be protected. Data always leaks. I think you know this  Wink

1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Paxful delisted ETH? on: December 21, 2022, 09:14:08 PM
Very funny  Grin

I am no fan of Ethereum going POS, but what Paxful did is hypocrisy of the highest level. If they are really into POW and against the centralized nature of Ethereum then the fist things they would do would be

1. Delist centralized Tokens on Ethereum network (USDC and USDT)
2. Mark their platform decentralized like bisq and stop asking for KYC
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges in decentralized wallets are unreliable on: December 21, 2022, 08:59:25 PM
The only type of wallet I would consider decentralized and noncustodial at the same time is a full node wallet like Bitcoin core. Ledger is a noncustodial hardware wallet, but I don't think it has anything to do with decentralization. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

People are so dumb to notice that internal exchanges in such wallets involve third parties that are usually centralized and what is hurting is that most of those noncustodial wallets use services like changelly, changerhero, paxful... all those services have a bad track record of holding customer's funds and requesting for KYC.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanger do you recommend to convert btc to eth? on: December 20, 2022, 09:00:19 PM
Fixedfloat.

It's an instant exchange, no kyc, no registration, you just have to send what you want to exchange and then put your receiving address. Wait until 1 confirmation for your btc transfer and they'll process it quickly automatically until the exchanging is done.

Majority of the coins that they're supporting are the ones from the top rank and obviously, btc and eth are there too.
I used fixed float in the past, but I saw some members complaining about it recently. OP DYOR before using such services. Carefully comb through the terms of service before you send in any funds. Things can change very fast in the crypto industry.
1188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Celicafinance.com - Ponzi scheme on: December 19, 2022, 09:43:15 PM
They actually reduced their frequency of making threads in this forum after the introduction of the flag system since it is now very easy to mark an account with a flag and allow non-members to see that flag from outside too. Therefore the negative marketing and hence they keep to websites that pedel such HYIPs without restrictions more often.
You are right, they definitely gave up on this forum and shifted their energies to other less trick forums like Beermoney forum (https://www.beermoneyforum.com/forums/hyips-forum.31/)
Scam Ponzi schemes are posted there every day, and they even have these members who "test" the site by making a deposit and the positing screenshots of daily earnings or withdrawals until the scheme shuts down
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 01:15:53 PM
Just voted, I think France will defend the trophy.

Although I would have loved Benzema to be part of the starting line up. I am still not sure why he refused to join his teammates. Perhaps he didn't want to disrupt the current French winning line up?

Regardless, I think Giroud will do what he has to do.

May the best team win.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 18, 2022, 09:21:45 AM
On the other hand, in the last season, Benzema was the one who excelled for Real Madrid. He won the Ballon d’Or. So will Real Madrid give Cristiano Ronaldo a chance?
Why? i saw that from several news if ronaldo will not come back again to the real madrid. Real madrid has been rejecting ronaldo's offer and there was also a new rumour about ronaldo has a very bad relationship with jorge mendes as his agent. Former of madrid president calderon was even saying his chance to rejoin with real madrid is very small at this moment. I guess that if you shall need to confirm again  whether that news already clarified or not.
You do realize there is a lot of fake news that talks about Ronaldo. Even he hasn't made any move, the media will always have something to say about him because when you talk about Ronaldo, you get attention and clicks onto your website.

Not so long as there was talk of how his move to Saudi club Al Nassr was done and now here we are.

I stopped believing in random stories until I see the man himself go where he wants
1191  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Celicafinance.com - Ponzi scheme on: December 18, 2022, 08:14:10 AM
Just look at their investment plans and you will see these are not realistic ones. How can you get 120% in only one day and 350% after 5 days. If this was legit, then everyone would have to do nothing in life and just get quick money without doing anything. Cheesy
They are made for the greedy and ignorant chaps who think you can actually make money without any effort  Grin
It's 2022, and it's intriguing that people still get scammed by such Ponzi schemes. It's the reason why those sites keep popping up every day. It seems to be a lucrative business for scammers
1192  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I'm being robbed by mercatox (dogecoin scam) on: December 18, 2022, 07:39:56 AM
I went to put my money in the hands of these guys in 2017 or 2018 and I left it there. At the time there were no complaints and it was one of the only bags that accepted nano, today I see that they are a disgrace..
I read through some posts on Reddit and apparently this problem has been dragging on for long, Probably started somewhere in 2018-2019. They keep promising people that they will work on the technical issue, but it's shocking that to this date, they have never done anything or even shown any progress.

If an exchange can have a technical issue dragging on for 4 years, and it's involving people's money, then maybe they shouldn't be in business

How long have you had this problem? Already solved? I don't know about you, but after all this is over or the 1st day arrives, I'm going to file a lawsuit with google asking for the withdrawal of these sites from their searches, as it is unacceptable that you can put money in and not withdraw it. Clearly they set these traps to deceive people.
Sorry to give you the bad news, Google is pretty messed up. I remember I have ever reported real scam sites and nothing was ever done.
1193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit now forcing users to carry out Facial recognition when withdrawing. on: December 17, 2022, 09:54:19 PM
Now imagine if one is in an emergency, and they needed the money ASAP and the device they are using has no camera for facial recognition, I wonder what someone would do  Roll Eyes
Well, if they were smart, that person would learn not to use centralized exchange to store their crypto ever again.
Obviously keeping coins off an exchange is the way to go especially if you are planning to store them long term but in certain instances one has to do day or intraday trading as a way of making some profits. Are they going to move coins into and off the exchange every day or every hour they want to trade?  Grin

For example, I keep the biggest percentage of my coins off the exchanges but when I need to trade, most especially derivatives, I end up using the much loathed centralized exchanges and this is how i ended up with the above situation.
1194  Economy / Exchanges / Bybit now forcing users to carry out Facial recognition when withdrawing. on: December 17, 2022, 09:11:39 PM
Thought I might just share this to keep any Bybit users on high alert.

Today I tried to withdraw some profits I had made from Bybit but to my dismay, a notification came up asking me to face verification. Please note that my account is Level 2 verified.

This is so weird given that I had entered the 2FA codes, both for the authenticator and the one sent to my email. I made a quick chat why their live chat support, and they claimed that the "security check" could have been triggered by an unusual log in activity in my account, of which I have been logging in using the same device and browser for a very long time.

I asked them if the password, 2FA codes, IP address logs and Device ID information wasn't enough to prove that I was the actual owner of the account, and they had no answer. All they kept referring to were the terms of service as though they were programmed like a robot.

Now imagine if one is in an emergency, and they needed the money ASAP and the device they are using has no camera for facial recognition, I wonder what someone would do  Roll Eyes

This is so irrational and stupid
1195  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Defaulted [edgycorner] on: December 17, 2022, 08:51:17 PM
I expect no understanding.
I am really sorry for the delay.
You should have at least talked to him when things did not work out on your side, I believe shasan is someone who can listen and even give you some more time. It's sad that you had to ruin your account by going quiet, obviously members will think you are not to be trusted.

Your account a rank would manage to repay that loan within a month if you have participated in signature campaigns, contests and reviews.
1196  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT] Looking for feedback. Crypto Visa Card on: December 17, 2022, 05:06:56 PM
Hello, welcome to the forum.

It's exciting to have yet another virtual credit card provider that accepts crypto for top up. I will commend you for the no KYC policy
However, I noticed that the fees seem to be so high. Probably suitable for only high spenders

I recently signed up and used pyypl virtual Mastercard, but their fees are way low.

Also, you might want to consider other crypto top-up methods like BTC, Doge, ETH etc. if it doesn't hurt your business.
1197  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I'm being robbed by mercatox (dogecoin scam) on: December 16, 2022, 09:54:06 PM
This is similar to exchanges that put wallets on maintenance indefinitely (HitBTC and yobit). Very shady in nature. You don't have a choice now except wait or sell the Doge at a giveaway price. Current price is $0.02, 4 times lower than the current market price, and people are just selling. I don't see anyone buying in the order history .
1198  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance’s “auditor” Mazars,nuked the website with Binance’s proof of liabilities on: December 16, 2022, 09:36:41 PM
Do you think it will have a big impact on crypto market now and we can huge dip in price of crypto coins on different exchanges ?
There is a slight drop in markets from an earlier price spike, but I doubt if it's related to the incident. I think it's just a normal crypto market movement. Over a couple of months ago, not so many exchanges has any proof of reserve or liabilities so why should it shake up the market now?

Meanwhile, has Mazari issued a statement pointing out the reason they halted the auditing?
1199  Economy / Exchanges / Re: qTrade.io - shutting down. Withdraw your funds on: December 16, 2022, 08:58:11 PM
My first time hearing about this exchange but at least they will to give their customers time to withdraw their assets unlike some that just decided to pause withdrawals and then shutdown.

It's really a very hard time for crypto businesses. Whoever makes it through this crypto winter will have gone against many odds.
