261  Economy / Speculation / Re: back in 2015 we had a nice pre 1/2 ing streak. on: November 03, 2023, 09:43:13 PM
The possibilities are endless so I will remain optimistic and I do think we already bottomed and those bears are really not in good mood. A 10T cap for crypto is really possible now that institution are noticing this market, it's really just a matter of time before we finally reap what we sow of holding it.

I wonder why Binance list them probably having some connections was the main reason or was just the community wanting it? So, now it has 8B in circulation but the total supply was 69B probably this price right now might go lower if it happens there are still huge unlocks in the future. I wonder what are those 60B tokens for.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 03, 2023, 08:51:49 PM
I just came across another topic about how to start betting on sports, and as I was reading and researching, I came across something that suggests considering taking online courses on sports betting, aside from reading books that provide in-depth knowledge and strategies to improve betting skills. Is it true that such offers are available on the Internet? Are there any free options?

I have tried betting on sports a few times, but I know there's a lot more I need to learn and understand. Has anyone here encountered such courses or have any knowledge about them?

I know I could search for this information, but I'd like to hear your answers or opinions directly. Thank you.
I probably think there that the possibility of such course do exist considering there are other gambling games being taught for example poker. The probability that it's paid is likely but I think you need to pay for that when in fact in sports betting the thing you need to know first is the sports you're betting into. Just know the game and you can really bet on it.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 03, 2023, 08:33:26 PM
what do you think about this? are games which are played by computers are rigged? don't answer like we play for fun, we are responsible, we are bitcoiner we know to verify bets, etc.
First, was the money being played really from his account? I don't know but there are streamers that just playing their bankroll in which it's from the casino itself. I wonder what was the name of the casino, the slot and the provider but if it's from a reputed casino I don't think it's a rigged one. It's not necessarily rigged maybe he's just unlucky to think it is but we never know.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 03, 2023, 01:58:34 PM
These two games was the most exciting game happened this day but I'm at lost on both of them, though I'm still at profit in the past week so better luck next time for me. What a waste that PG got fouled out he got the hot hand to force it in overtime and having Tucker out there feels new to me but got some good boards so kudos to him.
If Paul George was there, the game ended differently.

We haven't seen yet that the entire roster was inside the court after all the transfers made with Tucker and Harden. Maybe on the next match they have, Harden is going to be with them.

Is there any clause that Harden isn't allowed to play yet? I only see articles that says that he will have "soon" his debut with the LA Clippers. I'm not a fan but just interested to see how it is going to be.
Definitely it would have been a different case if PG was out there playing. It's as per report that Harden would likely to play his Clippers debut on Monday against Knicks, I think there aren't any clauses it's just on him or the management that he'll not play yet. If Harden focus on playmaking I think it will be great for both PG and Kawhi but if not then likely their numbers will decrease but afaik his role would be as a point guard.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Charges Crypto Company SafeMoon and its Executive Team for Fraud on: November 02, 2023, 09:41:05 PM
Looks like a SafeJail time now. I've seen how they are active on twitter to shill their project when in fact that's all there is to it, it's just the shills and the promises and I hope they'll be happy for a jail time now that those days are already over.

But seriously? The founder isnt anon? Then theres a chance that they will get really arrested for this.
As far as I know there are 3 individuals already that has been identified: https://www.justice.gov/usao-edny/pr/founders-and-executives-digital-asset-company-charged-multi-million-dollar
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 02, 2023, 09:07:54 PM
IMO, there's no law in gambling mandating that a gambler must share part of his winning with eith friends or fellow gamblers in the gambling house, for that, you owe no one an apology either or not you chose to give a penny whatsoever. Let stop the self entitlement claims towards fellows gamblers that won big amount of money. The attitude is disturbing.
What a shame they only got a penny it should have been the overall winnings to be given to that guy so that he won't talk. I don't think you're part of that luck in the first place that you are entitled to be given some charity. The thing with people who are ungrateful is that no matter you gave or not they still have something to say.
268  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nirerecomend Mo Ba Ang Article Na Ito Sa Mga Baguhan Sa Bitcoin on: November 02, 2023, 08:46:09 PM

I think it's futile na article lang kasi gusto nila yung kumikita agad agad eh.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 12:33:54 PM
What are your thoughts on this? When you bet with crypto do you find it easier or harder to fund multiple accounts? Because I am getting a sense that crypto bettors are more compelled to shop around a lot more, but only until they find a bookmakers that fits their needs, and then they will hardly move any funds to other platforms. Surely thete must be some reasons behind this or even some very different takes. What are your thoughts?
I think it's easier to fund them but to play them at once is a hassle. I have an accounts into 3-4 bookmakers and 2 on local ones but it's not necessarily to fund them but to play with them once the favorite bookmaker has an issue. I use multiple platforms not to find the best odds since most of them doesn't has huge span in terms of it but I use them to not have any hassle if you really wanted to play.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 02, 2023, 11:53:36 AM
I waiting for the battle of Los Angeles here, Lakers vs Clippers, I like that the Clippers is the underdog in this game, so I will go with them at 2.32.

And then the Dubs hosting the Kings, as we have seen the rivalry has been building up as well with this 2 teams. So Warriors at -6.5 at 1.84.

Lots of games already concluded, like the Raptors defeating the Bucks and then another blow up win by the top contender Boston Celtics.
That for the win jump shot of Klay was too clutch, was too risky they didn't call a timeout but Steve Kerr do really believe in his players.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: November 01, 2023, 04:19:05 PM
Can you add more besides what's written in this article?
You can be great at math and finance lol. I don't know if that is counted but I think it's a great addition and can be fun in a way as well. I totally agree that if it's too much it's not healthy and if we can't control how we gamble, gambling itself will control us. Same with liquor, we should gamble moderately.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 01, 2023, 03:12:27 PM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago
Can't remember but a hundred bucks and not into thousands of bucks was lost in me just in one session, $200k was just too much but if you're a high roller then it's a piece of cake. Mostly it's on crypto casino, more convenient but I think it's way more addicting considering you can still multitask even while gambling.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 31, 2023, 09:59:18 PM
I've seen digital property being sold for thousands of dollars (USD) in Decentraland. I'm yet to understand why digital real estate is appalling to mainstream investors. Owning a virtual property is not the same as owning a real one. It's just like NFTs (through the form of digital art, items, etc.). It may be all hype that will eventually fade away into oblivion. Or maybe I'm wrong?

Do you think digital real estate has a future? Is it worth it? If not, why? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
It's still a speculation but I think when metaverse is a thing in the industry this will be worth it. There are advantages of having a digital real estate but right now that there's no clear path on it, that's still considering a risky asset, more risky than having a crypto on your wallet.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: October 31, 2023, 05:10:24 PM
One of the solutions which is recommended by most gamblers on this forum for gambling addiction is "Therapy" . Professional help in the form of therapy. It is good and very effective but how many persons can actually afford it? There is a fee for each session that lasts for a duration of 60minutes. And there are more than one session. Therapy for gambling addiction is expensive. How can those who are unemployed afford it? How about the college student? Or the person receiving minimum wage. What are the other low cost but very effective solutions to gambling addiction. And typically how long will it take before the addict starts to feel more in control and less withdrawal symptoms?
Will totally appreciate your responses. Thanks.
Well, this is likely difficult situation but I think looking for some alternatives will be the best choice and there are lot of free consultation online. I believe there are solutions for it if you look for them and you're really that willing to be healed from gambling addiction. It's you or someone near you that persevere to make that happen, look for alternatives until you'll be able to afford it.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 31, 2023, 12:53:27 PM
And, that's why Morris wasn't with the team during the last game, the report that he wasn't on the team maybe he was upset he got the news. Well, I'm a Clippers fan but I don't know how they would make this thing work out, their depth is good at least if they have all the healthy players though. I hope Harden just play better now that his wish was fulfilled and he should be or he would just to leave with another team again.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP airdrop incoming for the Uphold users on: October 28, 2023, 05:34:09 PM
I think the title should be changed considering it's not really an airdrop rather just a raffle draw for those who will trade on their exchange. I don't know what's catching there but it really looks like they're just alluring users to trade on them rather than with a  possible airdrop.
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull season started? on: October 28, 2023, 04:56:35 PM
The recent surge in BTC to the $35k region has led many to believe that the bull market is back. Some analysts believe this is just the effect of historical October patterns, and we may see a significant pullback for accumulation and liquidity purposes before the bull season kicks off. I'm confused, which is why I'm here. What's your opinion, fellow traders?"
I think we will experience first the "disbelief" stage before we go to the real bull run or maybe wait until post halving because this has always been the case. I still believe as well that there will be a retest on previous supports and don't need to FOMO because there are lot of posting their own gains.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 28, 2023, 02:21:28 PM
What do you think, if I have millions I will be satisfied betting thousands of dollars for fear of addiction that will lead to losing my fortune, but I really don't know if I will reach that level of having millions and still be moderate in gambling.
I think it's attainable to be on that level of gambling but to get there wouldn't be easy and I don't think you'll be satisfied on that because for sure you'll want more. I don't think betting millions when you just recently make millions is a moderate gambling, that for sure will not be the case but just your greed telling you to go on. As a human we always wanted more and we will never satisfy ourselves until we no longer have the capacity to do it.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: October 28, 2023, 12:23:10 AM
Are you positive or negative on casinos asking for log-in frequently or do you feel unsafe in putting your login details every time?
As long as you know there's no issues with their system that you know of I think that's normal. Always update your cached password so you'll not be mad that they'll ask it everytime, maybe you don't save those password for that site but I'll understand I don't usually save passwords on my browser for security purposes as well. For example, if your phone got lost or you have left it opened, that really causes some threat for me if they goes through my accounts that has money in it, I mean saved passwords it's really an easy login.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 27, 2023, 05:46:59 PM
Lakers should stop trying to force other rotation players some minutes, they try to build a whole squad but that ain't working for them. Their d'lo-reeves-prince-lebron-ad five doesn't work and will not work. They need to switch to d'lo-reeves-lebron-ad-wood five which would be a lot better and it would have size that most other teams do not have. Reeves is already bad at defense, and d'lo isn't work all that hard on defense neither, better than last year if you ask me so far in the last two games but you do not play him for his defensive skills.

I think this means their inside has to be better and even though AD is good at defense, he is all alone inside and having Wood with him would make their paint protection skyrocket. Other teams could either shoot, or they would not be able to get inside, a good shooting night would beat Lakers, but a bad one would lose badly. Lebron is still amazing at year 21, that dude is a beast, definitely king of basketball.
They're missing their best wing defender Vanderbilt yet so I think they're experimenting this time around for a squad, it's just early in the season and it's not that hard if they will work out with it. I guess Wood would be the fit, this guy is efficient he just needed more minutes. Yeah, couldn't agree for more that LeBron is still killing it even at his age and looks like aiming that 40k points in his career.
