1181  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ban Evasion on: January 07, 2023, 08:40:02 AM
I have come across this and was wondering what the point of banning a person is if this will be tolerated:
It's not bad to asked someone in the forum, there's no rule/s that pertains a temp ban user not to do this on behalf of other members just to raise an awareness. Forum users who joined the campaign will wonder what's happening if Little Mouse didn't open it up. You can lock this one already, it seems it already answered your confusion.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 06, 2023, 09:24:43 PM
Luck was at 30 overall for 2022. My plan was still the same plan to not over gamble and just gamble the money I can fathom to be gone. I won't have that much of an extensive plans though especially if it's about gambling, it's like 5% on all of my plan for this year.
At 30 percent, I want to assume you won more money than you lost, congratulations mate, shows the year 2022 was at least, good to you in the area of gambling.

And gambling only what we can afford to lose should always be a plan or in the plan, last year, I made some series of mistakes in this area which contributed to my ending 2022 in some dept, I am glad I've learnt the hard way, and currently, it's already in the plan not to make the same mistake ever again.

I wish you even more luck this year, that the odds will always be in your favor.
No, I assume it was below the 50% chance of winning so it was likely on the losing side, I thought 30% was low though before I posted this. Maybe rating it 1-10 instead of 0-100% is wrong, people tend to mistakenly think it was a 1-10 criterea for rating, so my rate would be likely at 3% only. Maybe you could change that.

1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 06, 2023, 03:37:02 PM
I've been wondering recently what's ahead for us in terms of the evolution of digital currencies.
Aren't we evolving? The creation of newer solutions make us evolving in the process, we never heard of defi before, NFTs, rollups and other protocols that keep on developing. The huge institutions would never let into crypto if they don't see the massive potential ahead in this space, they know crypto will be huge in the future.
1185  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: n1Bet.com steal me 5900 USDT deposit+winnings on: January 06, 2023, 01:21:40 PM
THIS BOOKIE IS BIG SCAM. THEY CHAT ENDED WITH ME, BLOCKED ME FROM CHAT!!

Well, other members have already responded here that it was ended scam, I just heard the casino and they don't have any reputation in here. The chance to get your money is too slim so what you can do right now is for the awareness that they won't find another victim out there. I wonder how you find them and play on them, did they promise something for a huge bonus if you deposit on them?
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term trading and scalping on: January 05, 2023, 06:32:20 PM
In the meantime, the constant spikes are an excellent ground to do some scalping and get some positive trades.
Lol scalping is good because it is a short cut way for easy money. However scalping is better when you do that on the trend side so that when you miss your target, you can be lucky to get your trade going your direction of the trend but scalping is bad if you scalp against the trend because any missing can lead to your account being wiped off as you will be dragged in losses till the end. Meanwhile, with the current trading chart for bitcoin, I have not seen spikes that is confirming a safe scalping.
I think it's not about the trend when you're scalping, scalpers do not follow that as far as I know as long as there's movement in the market. Other scalpers these days doesn't rely much on manual scalping I guess since there are lot of automation tools to use to , it's far more advantageous considering bots won't rely on emotions.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 05, 2023, 02:58:37 PM
But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.

Thoughts?
It has millions of combinations for you to hit it and I think I might have chance to win at slot compare here. People just wanted instantaneous money without doing much effort that is why they are turning into lotteries thinking it was the easiest way to go, yeah it was easiest one if you're lucky but likely difficult and expensive if not.
It depend on the angle you may be looking at it from, to me there is not much difference between the two gambling and the lottery after all there both involve betting with your money, and is not as if lottery tickets cost that much some can just go a few bulks same with gambling such as football bets or playing slot in a machine.
The most important thing is that, once luck is on your side you can win at whatever game, gambling is gambling and there are no two ways about it.
If you want to avoid losing money then you should stay away from any form of gambling.
I believe there's a way that you're at a slight advantage on gambling if it comes with having strategies and using your skills in it. I'm labeling lottery as a luck-based gambling considering you don't have any 1% chance to win on it.

That approach may work by just staying away, but losing money is not the way you win in the long run, most of these risky things involving money will definitely lose you money in the process anyways (stocks, real estate, crypto, etc.) For me, it's about the process and the learnings along the way that makes you a winner, losing isn't a bad thing at all tbh.

1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the perfect indicator for long term investors on: January 05, 2023, 12:49:32 PM
Well, the post might have been to lure us to make your views count. I think an article explaining things might be enough but still credit you for the work you've done. Anyways, I think fundamentals can still play a crucial role here, there are too many factors in the market right now that can lead to either break it on the downside more on the upside though.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: January 04, 2023, 04:56:08 PM
After the last WC in Qatar, the SPL has the opportunity to recruit more proven players and not only give preference to football stars, of course Ronaldo signed a contract with Al-Nassr for 2.5 years for $ 200 million a year, but his time passes, however, he is able to warm up interest in the SPL, and attract quite young and promising players.
I think getting him into SPL is for them to be known and Ronaldo taking that offer is really for the money involved and we can't deny that fact but maybe he's thinking, he can inspire more now that he's into this league. It's just a matter of time before we see known players to come into this league, Ronaldo was just the key on it.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 03:51:15 PM
In comparison to live casinos, online casinos do not offer free drinks, but if one were to bet from the comfort of his/her zone, and had a fridge or cooler of chilled alcoholic drinks, it shouldn't be a yardstick to get drunk to the point of funding ones betting wallet all just to gamble at that instance of excitement. Also, if one can't get to control the amount of his/her alcoholic intake I don't think such a one can control the excitement that comes from gambling and shouldn't bet, make withdrawals or fund gambling wallets, while drunk.
Yeah that could be one factor if you're on that comfortable zone, but that doesn't mean you're not aware of things like your savings being touched. You could be sober but you should left untouched those money that are important for future use, it should be safe. The thing with crypto is if the same scenario happens like you have drinks on the fridge, and you're unaware of things you could also end up emptying your digital wallets considering how easy it is to transact online.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Gambling 2022 - How was it for you? + - <> on: January 04, 2023, 01:42:44 PM
I will not gamble regularly too this 2023, will focus more on learning new ventures but for sure I'll be tempted once again.
In anything that you are doing, you have to discipline yourself just as is in gambling, discipline is needed. I see frequent gambling as indiscipline, just gamble little and have the best fun you can have at that moment. It is better to focus yourself on other things that can help you. I too gamble but not frequently.
Not that I always do but I'm reminding and having second thoughts above anything else, that way I can tell if "I should do this or instead do this one". I'm not gambling huge amount of money in the first place and I'm proud to say I'm a responsible gambler, online gambling is too tempting and if you're not that careful you could end up losing it all.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Gambling 2022 - How was it for you? + - <> on: January 04, 2023, 09:07:00 AM
Guess I'm at a loss since my winnings can be counted, most of my losses were probably the biggest at slot and next for sports betting though I say I have a good winning percentage compared to luck-based gambling. I will not gamble regularly too this 2023, will focus more on learning new ventures but for sure I'll be tempted once again.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 09:57:58 PM
What site ranking is this in the first place? I just want to know. I doubt it for the GSW this time around it looks like they won't gonna make it. These days it keeps getting unpredictable on who's gonna win the NBA championship, and, when the playoffs come that's when the most unpredictable thing happens.
I do not know where you are basing that comment, but GSW still looks solid even with their poor start this season. They are 19-18, which is above 500. They are currently on a 4 winning streak and 5-5 on their last 10. All that was done without Curry and Wiggins. They are currently ranked #9 which is still okay since they still have 45 games to play. Last year, I think, they finished 5th in the West and were still able to take home the Championship. As long as they are able to get into the playoffs, they still have a good chance of winning the chip. They are a different beast in the playoffs, especially if they are all healthy.
Well, it's just my opinion and I think that's how I feel about the team right now, it starts with the Green-Poole altercation and I don't think they can make it till the end. Let us see if they can still make it this time but for me, they are not the same last season. They need to stay out there until the playoffs, too many injured players on their team.
1195  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Island Retreat - Sasama ba kayo? on: January 03, 2023, 01:30:09 PM
Great event at afford ko din naman kaso lang as per mk4, I value my security too, kaya, No din. Never heard sa pouch, probably ngayon lang dito sa forum, at regarding sa pagtaas ng presyo ng slot, I think hindi magandang indicator if talagang meet up lang gusto nila, they should have stayed on the same price. Appreciate that it was held in Bora kasi isa itong pagkakakilanlan sa 'Pinas at sa tingin ko foreigner din ang mga dadalo considering it was for all South East Asians.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 08:30:08 AM
Which of these categories do you belong to and why?
Then, I am a lone sports bettor. I don't rely on others opinion, I do my own research and analysis before making bets though it's not that a regular thing for me. Do lone sports bettor be a team sports bettor too? What's your take on this?
1197  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 02, 2023, 09:41:48 PM
No one can guarantee for any casino that can be 100% trusted and this casino can give you 100% profit but if you ask for some reputable casino then I can suggest you some casino site which have huge reputation and they are a big casino company
Roobet
stake.com
Duelbits
Livecasino
you can check those site and you can do your own research for investing on it. hope you will not able to consider it as bad

I want to add Rollbit on the list, they might be new compare to the sites on your list but it's still a reputable casino, they don't venture on just casino stuff but they've explore on NFT and crypto focused stuff too. Yes, it's a good thing to keep in mind that no casinos are safe, overall, if you play on their site with your money it's still them that has full control of anything.
I want to add PrimeDice, FortuneJack, Freebitco.in, Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, because those are definitely great online casinos and they are safe too.

But I would like to warn the OP that choosing an honest and safe to play platform is not enough to be assured that you will not lose a huge amount of money to gambling. Yes, first of all you should choose a trustworthy platform, but in addition to this you should never risk more money than you can afford to lose.
Not that bad of addition, I tried most of these casinos in the past too and didn't even have any issue playing with them, no hassles whatsoever. It's always been the same notion that keeps being repeated and I hope newbies try to keep that in mind first rather than just rushing on things like blind gambling without thinking the risks involved.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE IN on: January 02, 2023, 02:12:06 PM
Another Bitcoin halving is expected to come in 2024. As it has been in the last two Bitcoin halving, the bull run follows. As we anticipate another Bitcoin halving, when is the right to buy in and stock up Bitcoin in order not to be left behind in the next bull market?
.
If you think halving is the catalyst, then the time to buy is right now or DCA until it goes past the halving. Of course, you need to be ready even if what's worst right now happens like a huge decline in the market. Don't go all in when you try to buy, DCA is the best course of action.

<snip>

This is the current NBA championship odds at the start of the year. GSW is still the 3rd team favorite to win the title. It is because once the current active roster can maintain at least a 50/50 or 40/60 win rate they are still very capable of earning a spot in the playoffs once Curry, Wiggins, and co are back into their regular roles. The odds also favored the teams that have deep playoff experience rather than the teams that are performing well in this regular season. Fair enough, the playoffs are a whole new level compared to the regular games where sometimes defense and hustle are not fully activated.
