261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: November 14, 2018, 09:18:10 PM
It's that True if you are a truly bounty hunter you will experienced to promote a scam project ico ?
Yes, it happens a lot, most especially when it is hard sometimes to distinguish between genuine project and scam project. Although, if you are bent on doing careful research on every bounty you want to participate in, you can. It is just that it might require so e time and expertise.
Before i became more aware on how to identify scam ICOs, i had fallen victim of some. So experience can be a good teacher.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH progress in future? on: November 11, 2018, 10:48:40 PM
Some anticipate that the bull is in effect, but the market still might go lower and see a further decline.
Is it ok to buy at extreme values and worth taking risk?
We should focus more on some other important things and forget about bull run for now. I do not think we can still see anything like bull run in this year again, because there is no sign of it, but that does not mean you cannot make your profit from other aspects.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BountyHive: One Of The Best Bounty Platform on: November 11, 2018, 10:44:37 PM
This isn't intended to hype them or something, neither am I paid to do this, but I think BountyHive is one of the best bounty platforms around. I say this because they usually have specific number of participants that are admitted to different bounties (Signature, Social media, contents creation, and Translation). Once the required number of participants gets filled, it's closed for admission. This ensures that the bounty hunters get maximum number of stakes and tokens from the bounty.
I recently participated in one of their signature bounties, and got a handsome amount of tokens at the end of the campaign.
It is not just a gainsaying, it is the fact. I used to think bountyhive is not a sincere platform, not until i experienced it myself and i discovered that their integrity is intact.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Altcoins Discussion Are About ETH on: November 11, 2018, 10:41:12 PM
Almost every discussion about altcoins majorly is centered around ETH, this has taken over the first page of the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0 section. This goes to show the important of the coin in the space and how much premium is being placed on it. My belief is that ETH will not die and most ICOs will continue to launch on the network. This will make the price to back up as the demand for it will increase.
Yes, ethereum is the most discussed, because it is the most popular among other altcoins. As a matter of fact, looking at the history and existence of altcoins in the cryptospace, it is the first among
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your problem in the bounty? on: November 10, 2018, 11:59:14 PM
what's your problem when you undergo a bounty? or can you say what obstacles do you sometimes feel lazy to do or work on a bounty? perhaps all of you have some obstacles which you can share here and might be useful for others. please share your experience Smiley
There are bounty hunters who have other works that they do or are having one or two or even more responsibilities to attend to aside doing bounty. So sometimes, one might get tired that to even engage in any bounty activity might look so tiring. There are some aspects of bounty that require lots of attention, monitoring and some other works needed to be done on daily basis. Some people have sleepless nights over some bounty activities.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade? on: November 10, 2018, 11:54:55 PM
Hey guys, what do you prefer, hold till the end or trading? I know that people who are holding are actually saving crypto from total fall. But is it profitable to hold?
It is not just profitable to hold, but that to achieve something worthwhile and be fulfilled in the cryptospace, one has to learn how to hold. Else, you will just to see yourself dump what you are not supposed to dump and even when it is not necessary. Although, there are coins that should not be kept. Such coins can bring about huge losses if care is not taken. So dumping them is the best option.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In how many ICO's have you invested and how many white-papers have you read? on: November 10, 2018, 11:51:26 PM

Lets find out the ICO investment : white paper reading ratio.  Cheesy
If it comes to reading whitepapers, i have read lots of them. I can't even vividly remember the number of whitepapers i have read, but when it comes to investing, i have not done more than four times. Not every project whose whitepaper is read and has a good presentation of whitepaper can be invested in. There are other factors that can determine if one would invest in the ICO or not.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: November 09, 2018, 08:42:31 PM
Are you calling posting on this forum a hard work? Do I have to remind you that paid posting was introduced so that people who participate in the discussion can get some coins, and at the same time help spread the word about various projects and websites. You people made a hard work out of it, started to think of it as a full time job.
And on top of it all you demand respect for your "hard work"! Give me a fucking break.
Yes, posting is not supposed to be seen as hard work and it is the duty of every account holder on this forum, who does not want to remain ignorant in this crypto space.
Contrary to this, if not for the bounty that most account holders participate in, no one would have been put under the pressure of making at least 15 posts per week. Everyone would just have just keep posting ordinarily.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: November 09, 2018, 08:27:26 PM
From the very start ask your bounty manager if the rules are already firm and final.

But the sad thing is before you are going to ask them, you'll see one rule that allowed them to change any rule as they wish.
The fact remains that if rules are stated as alterable then bounty hunters should be ready for things like this, such as in this case where we have kyc. Although, kyc should not have been used for bounty participants, but if that is what the law entails, then why should that not happen?
I have even noticed that kyc is now a common phenomenon with most bounties and this is in a way discouraging some bounty participants.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto? on: November 09, 2018, 08:18:47 PM
What do you guys think are the real risks of cryptocurrencies and are there any ways of overcoming them? I've attached a good article below that covers a lot of the solutions to what people consider problematic at the moment, and it essentially says most of the risks are down to the user and not the technology (i.e. lack of education). Am interested to hear your opinions.

The interesting article: https://medium.com/@DDhopn/what-are-the-risks-of-buying-crypto-ff1c991a6c83

P.S. I am heavily involved in crypto, just keeping an open mind
When the use of a thing is not known or when knowledge is is lost, then misuse is inevitable. One of the problems we have as humans is that we sometimes refuse to learn some things that would add value to us and that will be beneficial to us in future.
Most of the mistakes we make as users or humans could have been avoided had it been we had taken our time to learn the right things at the right time.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most profitable bounty tasks on: November 09, 2018, 08:01:24 PM
Hey guys, when you are doing a bounty program, which tasks do you usually do? Facebook and Twitter? My favourite task is a Youtube video review. However I think Bitcointalk signature is the most profitable. Do you agree with me?
The most profitable so far is translation, but not everyone is allowed to translate. Therefore the number of participants is minimal. I believe that is what makes it more profitable. So if you are allowed to translate for a project on bitcointalk forum, its a big opportunity for you. The next should be signature, but your reward will be determined by the rank you have. So to earn more, you can work your way up in rank.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does making investment right now is still safe? on: November 08, 2018, 10:19:08 PM
As of now, I have seen and heard of many ICO projects that turns out to be a scam and some of it is pure legit ICO but after the conclusion of the sale, the developers is gone without a trace. Now my question, is it still safe to invest? And if it is, where can I find a good ICO that is good for investment and good in terms of bounty campaign. Please can anyone help me.
If a project is genuine, then it is purely genuine, if it is a scam, then it is purely scam. A project cannot be good and still see the developer run away with investors' money.
There are still very good and genuine projects in the space. Although, it might take extra effort to identify them.
Then also remember that you should only invest what you can afford to loose amd leave room for some uncertainties.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good news? on: November 08, 2018, 10:14:08 PM
“We urge the government to break away from negative perceptions and hesitation, and draw up bills to help develop the blockchain industry and prevent side effects involving cryptocurrencies.” - Korean Bar Association

Will this encourage trust and investment or its just a way to bring crypto under surveillance and regulations?

A source would have been better, in order to credit the author of the write up.
I have always known Korea to be lover of crypto, so there won't really be so much antagonism there.
Then the advise put forward might not be accepted by some countries who are yet to understand the benefit behind blockchain technology. Well, its good to see that some countries have already keyed into it
274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY, how it works? on: November 08, 2018, 10:08:31 PM

Hello, friends.
I think one of you was involved in the Bounty, so I have a small question for you.
What do you think, how to properly conduct bounty, with which platforms and social networks it is better to work?
Should I connect bloggers?
Connecting with bloggers might not give you the desired result. Most times, even using bounty and airdrop to disseminate your information, might even give you better and desired result.
Then talking of platform. There are lots of platforms, but bountyhive alongside others, i know would present good opportunity for your project to succeed.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency should I buy now? on: November 08, 2018, 10:04:01 PM
What cryptocurrency should I buy now?
You can search through the coinmarketcap, there are thousand of tokens there and at least hundreds of them are good and genuine. So it is now left for you to be able to identify them. If you then find it hard to identify them, i would recommend that you choose from the top 10 coins  in the crypto space. The present stage of market will enable you to be able to get your gain, come what may
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When I received the token, should I sell it immediately, or what? How do I judge on: November 08, 2018, 09:59:49 PM
When I received the token, should I sell it immediately, or what? How do I judge its value?
help me !
guys!
I would advise you to learn to hold. Although, not everything is worth holding, but sometimes it worth the risk.
There were times i made mistakes of selling my tokens too early, because i thought oh i had made a good move yo have sold very early.
Most of the times i sold, i discovered that i did not get anything reasonable. So why sell so early.
Choose wisely, so that you do not blame yourself in future.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: November 08, 2018, 09:55:39 PM
I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?
I believe if the concept of a project is good, it will definitely attract investors from all spheres. I have come across different projects in this space and i discovered that most of those that fail are because they have nothing worthwhile to offer. Except for the scam projects who have successfully lured noobs into their net of scam.
Although, marketing is also very important to the success of a project.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: November 04, 2018, 11:20:51 PM
On the macro side, there are a number of positive developments that have helped push the popularity of the cryptocurrency up.  Ripple has been working on a deal with the Bank of America, the latest institution to jump into the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple has a number of bank partnerships, including Santander and Master Card that have elevated the cryptocurrency in the minds of retail investors...

Ripple (XRP.X) price prediction: what to expect?

I believe Ripple will bull again!!!
I would advise you do not dwell much on this coin. Yes, it might be full of activities, the team might be very proactive and that is why it is presently profitable. The issue with it is that it is decentralized. So anything might happen at anytime.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you guess a bull run in this year? on: November 04, 2018, 11:18:08 PM
Hello, friends in last year around this time we had a bull run. But in this year we are still waiting for that. If you have any idea about that?
So many people are anxiously waiting for this time. Some have even lost hope of it coming. I think we should be optimistic about it. It will still come, but the time is what no one can tell. You just continue with your normal activities and when it is time, it would come.
When it came last year, we were not all clamouring for it before seeing it. It came on its own accord. So we just stop worrying and panicking.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: November 04, 2018, 11:14:52 PM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call
I do not know why people are just too concerned and always willing to do KYC. This is blockchain technology and cryptocurrency that is meant to be decentralized. Our personal information are not supposed to be running around on the internet, where they can easily be used to perpetuate any form of crime. Going ahead to record video of yourself again is like going to the extreme.
