actually it was just found last night when community members made a block explorer and saw it reporting way more coins than should have been

I'm going to hold and see where this goes. So much for smooth sailing, but that would have been just too easy. Also I would like to say thank you to our detectives. Still some of it doesn't really make sense to me truly a stretch to my logic. Well so it goes...
P.S. Any investors should be cautious We should now consider this high risk. (as if crypto trading already wasn't) Be smart don't gamble what you don't have to lose...

I found three files on Windows called "wallet.dat" and copied/renamed them onto my desktop. They'd already been listed as having been modified today, and the address where my AC were instructed to be sent to from Poloniex on April 30th already matches the address under the "receive coins" tab in my wallet. So I doubt this will work...but where should I swap in one of these other wallet.dat files?
renaming them is/ was a bad idea. wallet.dat is the file that holds your coin data. you can try to import the most recent one or import it... i'm not sure what exactly you did or how many other coins you have... it would have been in the asiacoin folder inside of roaming originally :/

Here are the transactions listed for my wallet, v1.0.0.1. "Sent to" was when I sent it to Poloniex to protect me during upgrade from v1.0.0.0 to v1.0.0.1, and "Received with" is when I sent it back to wallet after upgrading to v1.0.0.1. Now, balance in my wallet is still 0.00AC. Anyone can help? I did search for "wallet.dat" on computer and cannot find such a file. well i can only see that you received the coins on 08:25 and sent them later (10:06).. n windows: go to star bar in the search type %appdata% look in roaming/asiacoin

It looks like we're making forward progress. Let's not dwell on the devs activity level. I'm sure he'll make an appearance in time...

I have to ask the obvious question.
As this is "Asia" Coin, why is the Website only in English, and no mention/bounty for another language?
If this is actually focused on "Asia", one would assume Asian Website links. At the very least Chinese at this stage. Is this in the pipeline, as it seems silly having Asiacoin only available for English (not just the OP in different languages).
I'm after proper replies, not just the usual "FUD" reply with "to the moon". This is a genuine request.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570459.0on the op No it's not. I asked for Website in other languages. I know the OP is, as I did the Korean one. The link in the Chinese OP is to the "english" Website. yeah as my edit was indicating i misread what you were asking... perhaps this is something someone in the community could work on. I by no means am qualified to do this...

the dev who made the blockexplorer told me he can set up an multipool very fast, but i need the confirmation of the community. Do we need that? For example I am mining LTC and BTC and buying with both profits AC. SO in fact i am my own little multipool. If you all start mining the most profitable coins and exchange them for AC. AC will go high very fast. btw - he can also develop an android wallet for us. and please donate him some AC. I will donate him 5k cause i think thats okay for this job. He set us the blockexplorer up in less than 1 hour... and i can aproove he is a man of his word. server is up and running. hope you like it. and please consider donatin some AC for developer: AbaUnVgCexF5TVjdWApQZjWRMnmtwpNnw6I will donate 1000ac towards the android wallet

So i'm asking to the community here
what do you want first .
Multipool or android wallet
I leave you the weekend to choose
That's a tough one For sure the Android wallet because the Dev in the OP has already stated that he's working on the official multipool and that it will be up once the bugs are worked out! Plus for the time being there is http://ac2.pool.mn/. Since it seems that the block explorer is already being done pro bono essentially by unick, I think we should be putting together a fund for the android wallet app. I'll start by saying that I'll pledge 1000 AC towards such an android wallet development venture. Anyone else? I will apply my 1000 here if it's not needed for a block explorer
