poop, fucking, sad, ragnarok, cheat on test, , I'm not sure because I'm an incompetent international businessman, dance zipkin style, repeatedly lie to

Am I doing this right?

I'd be happy with a full refund. They can have my miner back, when I get it, and they can sell it all over again. To help cover part of my refund.

I figured out that bitcoin was made of rubber, it explains how the price bounces up and down.

My guess is that gleb is just the glenn greenwald, The snowden is yet to be outed.
265  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 16, 2014, 03:48:08 PM
Well seems I'm on the naughty list. Anyone who hasn't received your miner looks like santa tried to give you a lump of coal, big black and worthless, but santa's lawyers said, "Ho Ho no, don't be a dumb ass."

So anyone on the nice list I'd like to compare units to the other set of units. If they weren't going to ship with PSUs who knows what else they were going to ship without. Also the North Pole is in China. I guess you do learn something every day.
266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: August 16, 2014, 03:37:58 PM
I mean I figured the MPP wasn't going to happen as they delete anything that is said regarding it. But to outright confirm they are ignoring it, and so glibly as "Fuck the MPP." Fuck? the MPP? Fuck you. That was your assurance that we weren't losing out on this deal. Infact it was a warranty that is enforceable in court. I'm expecting lots of small claims lawsuits if the class action does nothing.

There are two ways this plays out in their favor. For every new order they generate they also send a unit to an existing order holder starting in order, but only one at a time if they placed multiple  machine orders. They do this until everyone becomes profitable. This requires a huge upswing in the price of bitcoin.

They use that hosting option they were talking about having before to give people enough power ( swear they said something about having a petahash , but could have all been lies) to ROI then cut them off the moment we've made back our money. Then everyone is whole on the MPP front.

The only issue is that the class action addresses way more than just the delivery of miners. It also covers late shipment of miners, not processing processing refunds, negligence, acting in bad faith, violation of federal and state consumer protection laws. Fraud, which could come from not meeting the MPP as it was an advertised feature.

Those don't just go away because you ship a miner almost a year late.

Holy shit guys, did you see what Glen (phin) is posting in the official AMT thread?

I've talked a bit to Josh on skype and it reads like him. I wonder if it's true, I mean it wouldn't be that hard to believe, but fuck!
268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 16, 2014, 12:10:43 AM
Still nothing for me :-(

Hmm I wish DHL would notify me. Is there something I can sign up for to notify me if I odn't have a tracking number? if you point that way I'd thank you kindly.
270  Economy / Auctions / Re: AUCTION: 3 x AMT 1.25ths 4u RackMount Miner Auction on: August 15, 2014, 08:39:08 AM
I have been around for a couple of days, trying to learn more about bitcoin and mining and eventually get my shit together and invest in some hardware. All I can read is how users here hate on all of the companies they initially buy miners from. I am amazed how much hate accumulates in just one single thread and how all of the users like myself, who want to EDUCATE THEMSELVES, are not able to do so, because all of you are so damn busy spilling shit on everything anyone tries to post about and one should go through 200 pages of loathe to read the one single post that is actually helping somebody learn something.

They are selling the miners they advertise. Maybe they are not really well aware of how a bidding works. HELP THEM OUT! It won’t hurt and you will benefit from it for sure. If you browse their official thread, you will see that they have been actively responding to comments coming from people who have received their machines. It’s not like they’re hiding or something. This forum is turning into some virtual form of high school where bullies are overcompensating for lacking attention at home. Geez, people… And most of you have the skills and knowledge to actually help others out.

No offence, but maybe if AMT_minerLESS took the time he spent on making this meme to respond a question, there would be more people developing their ideas and all of us could benefit from.

Hash Master-

if you're serious about learning the mining game, and/or looking to buy a rig, take a look at BitMainTech.  They had nothing but rave reviews on their S1 and S2 Antminers.  I personally own an S1, and am currently looking at the upgrade kit, which will double the Hashrate, while lowering the power consumption.  The upgrade kit basically turns my S1 into an S3.    BitMain has their shit together, and are a professionally run outfit.  They also include ON-TIME shipping, worldwide, from China.  My S1 arrived on my doorstep, 3 days after it was ordered.  My AMT rig arrived 7 weeks after ordered, and from what i can tell, i am one of the lucky few to actually receive a miner.

The one downside is, you have to order 2 kits.  I only need 1, so i would need to sell the 2nd kit, or obtain a 2nd S1.

My S1 worked flawlessly, out of the box. It even came minimal documentation to get me started, and it even paid for itself within the 1st month of mining.  Yes, the S1 ROI'd right quick!! These are things i cannot say about my AMT rig.  The AMT rig was missing cables, had thermal paste smeared everywhere- like a 3 year old assembled it,  blew 1 of the 2 boards within the 1st day of operation, and the 2nd board has a bad chip.  I had to disconnect the case fan, since it did nothing to cool the rig, and found that optimal cooling was achieved by removing the boards from the case and mounting them on top of it.  The AMT will never ROI.  It currently cost more to operate than it brings in.  This could change if the BTC price were to get up to $1500+, but even then i doubt it will ever return my investment.  So far, it's brought in about half of what i paid for it.  The MPP is supposed to make up for this, and was a huge selling point for myself and most others who bought from AMT.

The incompetence of the AMT auction is concerning.  Looks like a different tactic to get more money out of unsuspecting/eager miners.  Yes, some have shipped and been received, I'll give them that, but the hassle appears to be more than it's worth.

One last thing,....  it looks like they've removed the Miner Protection Plan from their website.  This is most likely at the advice of their lawyers.  False advertising will get you big fines and/or jail time in the US.  That's what the MPP was, False advertising.  I have not received my MPP upgrade, which I am rightfully owed, nor has anyone else.

Do your homework before you spend your money.  AMT looks like they are trying to get their shit together, but after the shenanigans they pulled for the past 9 months or so, it will take a lot more than 5 confirmed shipments to get their name out of the mud.

I'd love to see them get their act together, and make things right with ALL of their customers.  We trusted them with our hard earned money, and for the most part, got burned.  Either with broken hardware, half working HW, NO HW , or delayed HW that will never ROI and should have been upgraded- per THEIR promise(MPP).

Thanks, buddy. I've been looking at the S1, but am still researching since it is quite an investment to make.

As for the AMT issue, did you try to contact them for that specific issue with the MPP? I think their website has no recent updates, so I assume that might be an omission of some of their content managers.

I see there is a lot of negative feedback, but I still want to give them the benefit of the doubt. The industry is relatively new and even though there might be some companies that seem to do it all right, at some point all of them make mistakes. I tried to send an email with some questions and they answered me back, since I was looking at their machines as well. Try to write them a mail with your concerns. If you already are a customer, I doubt they will risk losing you. This will lead to more negative feedback and damage on their reputation in the future.

They are pretty good about responding until you order from them. Then they either ignore you or straight up lie. I have e-mails full of lies about when my machines were supposed to ship. I was  sent an AMT "rig" (think rigged like a carnival game because you are never going to win)  Right out of the gate 2 of the 3 boards didn't work, there was no documentation on how to set any of it up. The fans were barely screwed on. Another board went down. Eventually one night while I was asleep the remaining two boards stopped working. This was because the machine overheated to the point that the heat sinks discolored. And one was hanging off the chip it was supposed to help cool. I do believe this was because of the manufacturing issue that they say they ran into. On one the few things I think they are being 100% straight about. However I do think I was sent a rig before others in line because I had made complaints to various consumer agencies when they refused to refund my money as they are legally obligated to under FTC regulations.

About a month after that AMT issued a recall because the miners they sent out were unsafe. You can see that on their news section. The majority of us on the forum who received the rigs tried to send them back I was one of the lucky few it seems who had theirs accepted back (not before two cross country journey's at the hands of UPS). #5. of the RMA process states "You'll receive a confirmation email stating that we have received your miner and we will immediately ship you a brand new miner." Though I did get fed-ex confirmation I never recieved an e-mail and I still have not received my machine.

They seem unconcerned about the MPP which was advertised on their site and is therefore a legally binding warranty. So when I finally do get my machine I will never be able to ROI with it.

They are currently selling , or trying to sell the exact same model they are sending people who ordered it last year at $6,000 for $1,350. These were produced in the same production run.

Buy from them if you'd like, it's a free country but at this point I would not recommend them to my self from eight months ago.

I'm not at home but DHL confirms delivery. Will post pictures as soon as I can.

How the hell do they alert you if you don't have a tracking number?
272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 14, 2014, 02:00:07 AM
Any of you west coasters? I still haven't got mine. Called DHL today still nothing in my name or any misspelled variant of it. Come on now.

rik man, i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i have to remind you who you are dealing with. as much as i would like AMT to win a suit against IMET the facts of the situation are this... zipkin has NEVER shown himself to be an upstanding businessman. he is corrupt through and through. the man has never told the truth. when i say he is the lowest of low i mean it. i have never dealt with someone like him.  he is the type of man who will look you in the eye and lie to your face. can i ask you one question?

do you know of one instance when josh zipkin has NOT lied?

Hmm it's pretty hard to think of  a time but I think I've got it. He is from the Philly area.

That about sums it up I think.

Sorry I had to go to Campus yesterday to get stuff situated to go back to school so I didn't get to make my weekly monday call to DHL.

When I did. The gentleman, who wasn't as nice as the last two people I spoke with, checked the past two days as well as 2 -3 day periods for the last week. In what should come as a surprise to absolutely no one at this point no miner is headed to anyone with my name in my zip code. So there you go more lies about shipping. if it shipped today it would have arrived by the 14th. So my guess is it's not arriving this week.

Aren't you one of the clients that received Cloud hashing until your miner arrives?

That was what was said would happen but it's been down since last friday (it ran from 1 pm on wed to 9 am on friday) local time. Then it went down. And I talked to josh and he said it would be up within a few hours. It was not, and it has sat silent since Friday.  So I guess to answer you your question, no I was not.

And since I now see what AMT considers fair compensation for the amount of money I spent I am rejecting anything less than the (generously as calculated by me) 5TH/s.

Your on eligius? Eligius doesnt seem to work, we cant figure out why.  Opeium had the same problem, he made a BTCguild account and it works. NotsoFuzzy is on eclipse and running fine. PM a different pool please.

No I am not on eligius. I was on Ghash.io at the time. Obviously you will not be supplying me with the 5/th that seems to be the going rate for what I paid. I state this here and in front of everyone that I will receive x amount of hash power (x = what ever the hell they give me) but do not waive my right to later seek the 5th/s worth of hardware that my money is worth.

We've shipped your miner, provided you with cloud hashing which we'll fix tomorrow when they get into work and added you to the refund list. 5 th is not likely going to happen, lets be real. AMT paid for chips in December at $100 per chip. Flip out or keep calm, either way your on the refund list so when money starts coming in and we can issue you refunds, you'll be refunded with everyone else on that list.

We will see what the court decides is "real". We are all stuck as part of this until the damn thing is certified or not. If it is then they will decide. If they don't or they reach a conclusion that isn't really in favor if the clients people will opt out and sue you individually. But that is a whole other ball game. Lawyers are a waste of time and money, but are sometimes necessary when justice can not otherwise be reasoned out between two parties.

So if you're going to eep a refund list you must be pretty damn sure the courts are going to side with you on the imet thing. That's good news at least.
276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 12, 2014, 09:58:04 PM
Holy hell they are actually keeping a refund list. I assumed that was written on toilet paper and that someone needed to wipe their ass and flushed it long ago.

It's good I'm on the refund list as I requested a refund in late march when it was obvious that shiping wasn't going to happen in a timely manner.

Oh, I'm calm I've just got nothing better to do until school starts on the 21st. You'll see me less in here twisting the (proverbial) knife. But until then I figure I should keep up with everything going  on and at least make comments. There isn't anything I've said that wasn't true. I literally call DHL every week to check the status of my package. And if DHL happens to be incorrect about something I'll gladly come back on here and let everyone know about that.

Selling 1.25th for $1350,  immediate delivery.

4U and 2U server casing option.

DHL Express 2 day shipping is about $175 to $210 depending on where you live.

Selling 1.25th for $1350,  immediate delivery.

That's pretty damn generous considering you charged us 6k for the privilege of receiving the miner even later than they will and we even get slower speeds to boot. A1 job there AMT. But now that you've provided a price point that is more reasonable for hard ware of that speed it shouldn't be too hard to prove to the court that we should be compensated with a like amount of hashing power at the same price considering the production run is essentially concurrent. Thanks for making that just a bit easier to prove. I mean you are advertising that price with the same pictures of the miners you said we being sent to us, so obviously they were built at the same time.
[/quote]

I was about to amend this by the way. I took the amount I spent 5759 and divided it by 1350. That gave me 4.265925925925926. Because I'm not petty and I like nice even number I just rounded it down to four even though this is very much not in my favor. so I multiplied the 4 time the 1.25 TH/s quote to come up with the amount that AMT thinks it owes us based on the price of the miner, the speed of the miner and the depreciation of the hardware. That is 5th solid if you are as generous as I am with the rounding down.

Now I know I'm a pretty generous guy, and some of you might not see it the same way I do so really what AMT is quoting here is 5.3 TH/s for $5759 so those of you who paid $6K get 5.5 Th/s.

It's nice to know what AMT considers fair compensation for what we paid.
