I wont OC so i suppose theres no problem for running 2 S3 with my Corsair CX750M
They are drawing 370watt each at the wall, should be 330 before the PSU. it will be very close to the limits of your PSU.
660watt should be 88% of the rated power for your PSU.
I usually like to stay around 80%.

Well, if limit is 750W and at the wall the draw 370 each, mmmm yeah thats 740W, you sure its 370 each?or can be less?i mean without OC of course.

I have right now 2 corsair CX750W and i bought 2 S3 , but i want to buy 2 more maybe, so i would like to use 2 S3 on each one of the corsair

where can i buy that device for showing power draw?

This place normally has a sale once a week on these http://www.meritline.com/p3-international-p4400-kill-watt-electricity-detector---p-22980.aspx.

Thanks

I was order #8 in batch 1. Received all 4 S3's today.

Did some power measurements for those who might be curious. Kill-a-watt is showing power draw at the wall for two S3's as they come out of the box.

But that board is for making easier to connect dell psu with antminer right?  Do you need soldering there?

I'm from Europe , where can I buy that Dell psu and board?  Many shops don't deliver to Spain. I have corsair cx750w 80eur but yeah that Dell psu is thinner and smaller

No soldering needed, kit has screws, cable, psu, and board. I and someone else posted link above. Not sure about Europe I am US but check with them. Someone else has had problems but I have not so do some additional research.

OK thanks.

Running 430's on both but very cool and quite. PCE cables very cool

Nice set up you got there!!

Silly question, but aren`t the ethernet cable ports supposed to be at the back of the unit??

We need confirmation if using 4 PCIE has any benefit. This is critical to my PSU needs. Couldn't I just use a PCIE splitter? Maybe it requires high amount of amp per line but that wouldn't make any sense since the wattage is low.

Huh

4 for OC but considering what bitmain said I won't OC them just in case

Well i will just wait hehe, they gave delivery dates so i trust them Smiley
275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 02:21:26 PM
Im from batch 2.

Will they deliver like they said 18 and 19?
276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 02:04:14 PM
@Doge
I suspect this happened to me once too (by DHL though), who did the picture-taking, you or him?

The best way is to just have a security camera at your gate and you can easily proove if something like this happens.

Did he leave the package in the car or did he not actually have it at all?

Some of the newer handheld things take pictures to prove they couldn't get access, of things like gates and front doors. It only proves they were at the address, not that they were there to deliver anything.

He didn't have the package at all, in the van etc. Not sure why they do it, costs them so much more in time and they'll just have to come again tomorrow.

take them to justice Cheesy
277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 01:42:07 PM
Fuck you UPS. Was meant to have it today but they fake delivered.

Caught the guy trying to take a picture of my gates without attempting to actually deliver so I ran out and barked at him. He didn't actually have the package.

LOL??? then why he goes?Huh xDD

Hi Guys just off the phone to UPS, will receive my miners tomorrow in the UK, have to pay £287 pounds for 5x S3  in import custom duty. Works out £57 pounds each, would like to hear from anyone else who has paid import duty

287 pounds? ?? Omg
279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 10:10:19 AM
Im from Europe so bitmain told me they could send me the invoice in EUR to my email(they generate the invoice in USD for UPS) so once the miner is shipped out i will ask them for the invoice and they will email it to me Smiley

Set each worker's difficulty separately: do not add them together and then divide by 1.4.  In any case, you should not need to do this unless there is something wrong with your miner since you difficulty will auto-increase to what is appropriate for your miner.

Ok thanks so much Wink
