The units themselves are all around 38-40 but the cables are definitely running hotter than the same setups did with S1's. I will not be OC'ing these!
As long as they pull less current trough the cables than the S1s overclocked then I highly doubt it, though I guess maybe the S3 defies the laws of physics! edit: The simple explanation might just be that on the S1 that used a open design some of the airflow was hitting the cables and hence cooling them, now with the S3 there just is no airflow on the cables and they run warmer.

Temp? Hashrate? They are in a closet so they might run slightly hotter than some others, but my hashrate hovers just under 460 (between 455-457) and 41 degrees

I wish everyone would stop talking about how great their S3's are. I'm still waiting for my Batch 1 order to ship. You are all making me jealous

Trust me it gets worse after it is shipped. I am now eagerly waiting for it to arrive and I am concerned about someone stealing it from my front door. I had it happen in the past once but it was a small Amazon package with nothing important in it.

WAHHHHHHHHH JEALOUS!!! btw, to power up this baby, we stick 2 pcie(the cables must be hot), or we can stick 4pcie(at least its cooler than 2cables) ?

Yea I think that's a very good guess. I am going to get some additional fans moving air around them so hopefully that will cool them down a bit. Again, they aren't HOT but they are warm.

I received all 40 S3s a few hours ago, but it looks like I miscounted my orders and have 1 remaining AntMiner S3 for sale . I'm heading to the UPS store to ship everything in about an hour, so if anyone wants to purchase the last one - It's for sale on Amazon or I can accept 0.9 BTC directly. Shipping to US only (free). PM me if interested. Dang, I bet the UPS delivery guy really likes you.

I have a 1200W power supply, I am assuming I can run 2 S3's off a single 1200w... For the person who asked if Batch 3 is sold out, yes it is. I think I was Batch 2, not that it matters. Haven't got mine yet.
It would be nice if they made a list of power supplies that ran cool with the S3's.

Can one of you lucky bastards who've received an S3 already please supply the part number for the buck regulator component? It's not the big grey square, that's a coil - instead it'll be a small IC right beside and will have a code (or codes) written in ridiculously small letters which indicate the part and manufacturer.
Trying to get a head start on sourcing a suitable replacement with more headroom.
