261  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble on: November 05, 2019, 04:36:51 PM
If crypto currencies have been able to overcome the challenges of past then they can beat any sort of hurdle placed in their way. With bitcoin as their leader, crypto currencies really do not need to worry about anything. Blockchain is still too young but the idea is amazing and VISA cannot give us the same security. All the governments will turn towards crypto currencies once China will launch its digital coin.

That's not how it works though. You can not predict the future based on passed data. Inductive reasoning doesn't always work. Technologies have inherent limitations, saying crypto will overcome challenges because it was able to do so in the past is simply false. That's like saying the sun will keep burning forever because it has always done so in the past, but that is not true, one day the sun will stop burning.

There's a good chance that crypto will overcome its problems and I believe that it will, but there is no way to know that and anyone claiming otherwise without showing proof is lying.
The future predictions in such cases do depend on the past performance of something. Bitcoin is not like gambling where the outcomes are unpredictable in every shot. It has proved its strength. Sun wont burn forever neither is this world predicted to stay forever as per scientists but as long as our planet will exits, bitcoin will exits too. We are moving towards an era of pure technology, digital currencies and blockchain will take place of fiat.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: November 04, 2019, 04:52:00 PM
Investors have just pulled out their money due to increasing scams in crypto market but I think it doesn't mean money will not come back into the market again, it needs a right push only. Currently ICOs and IEOs are not able to raise enough funds to launch their products properly and many of these ICOs are turning scams but as someone said technology keeps on evolving, I think there will be some new development in the crypto space which will bring back the investor's faith and market will continue to grow.

That's what I am looking forward too, IEO is actually good as this is more legit compare to ICO, as the exchange itself serves as the escrow, but what's the disadvantage of it is that scammers can also do IEO, they are willing to invest their own fund too just for them to accumulate more fund, this is what we should regulate and we should have law for this. Maybe when we have a law and all of the IEO/ICO has been approved by the government maybe that is the time for investors to invest again as they have assurance.
Just because IEO is more legit and less risky than ICOs does not mean that it is beneficial too. There are people who trust it but then majority is not supporting this idea. All such projects are vulnerable to be used in the hands of cyber criminals so we cannot go easy with any of them. Instead of getting involved into these projects, it is best to invest in good altcoins. Governments can’t stop scams either.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: November 04, 2019, 02:10:15 PM
Relaxing is in different category. If you have lost the account totally, you can watch your mistakes and restructure your plan but if it is a single trade that is lost, I take some time out, hangout for my anxiety to calm down. Sometimes, drinks can help too.
I agree with you. This is not the solution to take some time out instead of resolving the issue. Moreover, it is not possible to relax oneself when some mistake is committed. We all want to recover the loss as quickly as possible. It is best to not push your limits and take breaks before some serious damage happens by one wrong decision. Keep you mind fresh by doing activities that you like.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: November 04, 2019, 01:42:51 PM
I once did it to make a donation for my victory. although many people think that the money from gambling is dirty money. but I didn't care about it. because our good intentions can actually be done. Big wins often make us very happy and I often think that when I get the win I will give a partial donation. looks ridiculous but this is fact.maybe it's not just me who has done that. where we promised before playing gambling on something
many says gambling money is dirty but how come a Dirty money extends life?donating money for some others to eat is life extending and sometimes even churches forget to do while gamblers dont
i remember some videos i have watched about some churches denied to give help to the needed but they are accepting money donations from gambling institutions, while those money they are calling dirty is the materials that causes foods to eat and shelters to live on.so indeed donating gambling profits is helpful
The desire of heart to help others and lessen their pain with the help of money has far more importance than the ways it was eared. If a person is trying to do something in favor of society, his efforts should be highly appreciated and other must try to follow his footsteps. Not every gambler is a sinner and not every pope is angel. We should not judge people by their profession and appearances.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: November 04, 2019, 12:56:34 PM
Most of the times it's just 100% Bitcoins , because infact it is exceptionally the only dominating currency in the world and I believe in Bitcoins and even if I get ETH or something else then what I do is , I actually just convert them into Bitcoins because believe me this is something else.
I have been holding them up for more than 5 years and there are times that I feel bad about not being able to encash but I think I will wait.

Great, it's okay, it doesn't matter what and how many coins you had traded as there is no limit on it, it's really depend on you.

We do have different kind of trading strategies, for some they are very conservative just like you who wanted to trade or invest only on top coins, for some they are risk taker that they even buying dump coins, thinking and wishing it will have potential and can grow in the future.
Everyone has the freedom to trade according to his priorities. So an individual should adopt the way that will eventually work for him. All of his actions, decisions strategies, tips and tricks depend on the type of trader he becomes. As long as he is trading with bitcoin or holding it, he is destined o become rich earlier than anyone can predict. Choosing other coins over bitcoin is an act of ignorance.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: November 04, 2019, 11:59:21 AM
The difference primarily is that investors know the difference between ASSETS and LIABILITIES. Those you mentioned the car, the condo, the house, investors see those as liabilities and instead of buying more of those they go for income generating ASSETS like real estate, businesses, etc.
That is the main difference between investors and everyone else, when investors take loans they don't do it to buy products and services that will not generate any income, they are taking a loan to try to create a productive activity that will allow them to pay that loan very fast, that way when they finally repay the loan they have a new source of income which is another thing that investors do that the common man doesn't, the common man only has one source of income while the investor has many.
I found that the common man is bit emotional and scared that's why he give more importance to the life and wants to live it by spending the money as he already knows that whatever is coming is always from hands to the mouth.
Whereas the investor is more practical and believes in earning more and more an enjoy later.
Anyways can't say who is doing better may be both are right at there own place.   Roll Eyes

FYI, you cannot make a loan when you are a common man, I mean it depends on your capabilities, the banks would not just give you right away the loan you are asking if they don't see you as a person who could repay it on time. There is a lot of things that should be consider first by the bank before they give a loan to a common man, it is unfair but I see their point, they are just discouraging people to make loans and encouraging them at the same time to work hard to afford to take a loan from a bank.

With the investors (mostly businessman and entrepreneur) they could take a loan anytime without the bank asking.
Sad reality but theres nothing they can do since there would always be a criteria for someone would be eligible on taking a loan.
Ordinary man or doesnt have that financial capacity or even had assets would hardly able to get some loans even on banks even on
a lending corporation due to your lack of capability on repaying them.Thats how it works and this is how the world turns where people
are divided into these two different classes.
It is not something that you need to feel sad about. Logically speaking, how can anyone lend loans to a person who has no good source of income or does not possess a lot of other assets. Giving him loan can put him into big troubles. This scheme is for his own safety. This world is neither cruel nor sweet. A balance is maintained in everything. Divisions are natural, we cannot avoid or deny them.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 03, 2019, 02:34:28 PM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.

that is common in bounties, I have often experienced this in several bounty projects, I am very upset and I am banned in a telegram group, this is what we must be aware of in bounties, there must be a policy in this matter.
Bounties have not remained an option to make some money and I would suggest you guys to stop looking for these programs. At present, the market is full of scams. Bounties have become a good way of scamming people. I really feel bad for you but do not lose hope because you journey has just started. Just switch to the working options and you will get what you desire. Try investing in bitcoin.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto advice needed on: November 03, 2019, 02:20:39 PM
Hi cryptonias I have a friend who is very worried about his portfolio because since 2017 he haven't been able to make huge profit out of crypto cos he has no money to invest and i told him to joined airdrop and bounties ,his worries now is all his coins and tokens are not popular ones  this is his list
1)Apollo currency
2)electroneum
3)senno
4)slate currency
5)avinoc
6)snapparrazi
Etc all this are make from airdrops and bounties and the highest ones are around 50$ presently the rest are 30$ down ,what kinda advice should I pass onto him?
in my opinion, the coins are shitcoin, and there is no point in holding those coins. you better sell it and replace it with the top 20 coins. if you have a little capital, choose coins with low prices, such as xrp, eos and xlm. in my opinion the three coins will develop in the future.

I am also a bit disappointed in the list. No good coins are mentioned. Being honest, some of the names are also new to me. There is no point in holding them because certainly they are not the top ones. Instead of wasting time on these weaklings, it would be better to convert them all into bitcoin, which is the best. If some diversification is desired then I will suggest choosing ethereum also.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 03, 2019, 02:05:41 PM
I liked playing a game, back then I was bored enough and searching for online gambling to relieve my boredom. I found a dice game and they were using cryptocurrency as a form of payment, I did not have any mean to use real money to do gambling back then so I searched a few cryptos online and played it. It was so addictive because you can use it as little as 1 Doge, whenever I was losing my capital I would search it online again. After finished my game, I tried to find more information about cryptocurrency and heavily addicted to it. For me, cryptocurrency is as addictive as gambling.
That is an interesting story. You are the only person on the face of Earth for which gambling has been of some use, I guess. Due to playing online, you discovered crypto currencies and used even one of them in your games. It is good to see that you are interested in digital coins. I would like to make a suggestion, give bitcoin a try. You will just adore it. It is the best and most profitable of all coins.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: November 03, 2019, 10:35:06 AM
I have play dice gambling for more than 2 years, and my favorite strategy is 90% winning chance, I think all of the gambler that play with automatic rolls always using martingale system, the key of winning in dice game is know when to stop, I used to play with automatic rolls but now I play manually, in that way I can set a better strategy everytime I roll
High percentage of winning chance is much better for automatic rolls. In my gameplay I used to set high percentage of winning with automatic rolls and just leave it there, my bet is high as well and yeah sometimes I'm having a good run however, if I got a little bit unlucky then it could wipe out all of my funds. The second strategy is that the chance of winning will be set below 50% with small amount of bet and manually generated. This will give a high return but it requires a huge amount of bankroll.
There are people who can manipulate the outcome of a dice roll according to their desire. If you somehow attain this skill, then you will be able to place high bets on manual one and will win the bet too. Automatic rolls cannot be manipulated in anyway, unless you find some sort of pattern in the outcomes. If I were you, I would have placed small bets in this type. Actually, much better is to not gamble dice at all.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: November 03, 2019, 09:55:54 AM
The thing is that its your hard earned money and you can seek advice from others but always choose the best suitable option according to you. There are many feilds in which you can invest you money like share, bonds, gold  which have high returns in long period but if you are risk taker then you can invest your $1k in cryptocurrency in most potential altcoins or simply invest in bitcoin which can give you high returns within short span of time but you need to be patient and think wisely in situation of dumps. So be careful where you put your capital.

First let us understand what is our goal or priorities at the moment, do we need to invest, do we need to pay our debt first or to put up business. As per me, if ever I will pay debt  first, save for investment and for business. I won't go to investing as long as I have debt thats my first goal so I will have peace of mind while doing investment or business.
That is a nice start but I think in any case, investing at right place comes at the top. Once he will spend money in right asset and earn good amount of profit, he can start a business or go with clearing the debt history. He can do with his money whatever e likes to. I would suggest investing in bitcoin and then solving all sort of problem, fulfilling all desires with the help of this coin.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble on: November 03, 2019, 09:25:55 AM
Since many people try to convince us that Bitcoin is a bubble and how we will lose our money eventually, I wonder if money is not a bubble actually. There exist economies in which money has a positive value in spite its market fundamental is zero. That means fiat money has zero value. Fiat money is a social contrivance. We take money from other people because we know other people will take it from us. In theory and practice the fiat money is a bubble.
Of course fiat money is a bubble and it is bound to burst as well. We cannot just fullfil recent experienced to future. We cannot as well assure that the government have the potential to maintain the economic resources while producing loads of money and besides it will run dry in the end as the payments, funds and transactions has to be made digitally.
After the invention of bitcoin and altcoins, fiat is destined to die in the future. We are living in a world where technology is making progress by leaps and bounds. Upcoming generations are more interested in performing all sorts of tasks with digital tools. Digital currencies are the future of money and bitcoin will remain the king of them all. Governments will introduce their own crypto coins.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: November 02, 2019, 04:33:26 PM
Why do you think that it is a problem? It is a real use case, people are very happy to use blockchain gaming because it is provably fair!
In my honest opinion, risking one’s precious asset in luck based games and losing them is a problem. It is not like there are high chances of winning bets even if everything is fair. There are better ways to utilize one’s digital asset and increase them in number. I have seen people who lost their bitcoin in gambling. Then all they were left with was regret. This is the reason why OP has this belief.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum in Numbers: What Has Been Achieved So Far on: November 02, 2019, 04:21:45 PM
Ethereum became an excellent coin and received the status of the king of altcoins. Unfortunately, many of the projects using the erc32 smart contract are shit projects.
Ethereum deserves some praise certainly. Since the beginning, it has remained at the top of altcoins and let me just add this, the number of altcoins is increasing with the passage of time. So far, none has been able to even become a rival of ethereum. It is also the most trustworthy altcoin. The development team is improving. Most of what ethereum has is due to bitcoin. We also don't need any other projects.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are finally going to $22k on: November 02, 2019, 03:56:53 PM
I'm hoping that bitcoin can reach 22k this year, and looking at that graph, I have confidence that it can. But reading some other analysis, we can't still confirm it well, and I understand that reason. I also make my own interpretation, but in my calculations, and assume that I will only go to 18 - 20k. But then again it depends on the volume.  Smiley
It's just too early to expect a $22,000 bull run within this year while the current price is not correlating to the price target. I expect that $22,000 or even $20,000 will touch next year but looking at the price trend and speculations it seems that the price is likely to move upward but not this year. We will surely going to see that new ATH of bitcoin next year we just need to HODL a little longer.
To be very honest, no one can really predict the change accurately. At most, we can just tell that pump or dump is near. Back in 2017, no one or you can say majority was not expecting bitcoin to touch 20k dollars but it did and shocked everyone. We all know soon the market will be rising and bitcoin will be gaining value, it will definitely rise more than you can expect or imagine. Just wait and watch.
Yes, I agree that it's tough to predict what will be the exact value of bitcoin and assuming that bitcoin will reach 20k above this year/ end of the year. Yes, you're right about in 2017 that most ppl don't expect that it will skyrocket at 20k. The market will surely increase, especially some ppl saying that BTC is repeating its history. Smiley

I am also one of those people who think that bitcoin is repeating the history because we can see how firstly the price of the coin is increasing we can hope for really good.  Now a days more investments are being done that is making the demand high and supply lower so I hope till end of 2019 if we can get 20k usd  or $22k dollar.
So now is the last chance for investors to finally grab bitcoin at a low price. Once this dip will over, which is going to happen soon, it would become almost impossible to see bitcoin at its current rate ever again. Bitcoin is just resting at the moment and this currency has the potential to touch 50k dollars. People will think that I am a moon guy but honestly, nobody imagined bitcoin to touch 20k but it did.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some essential trading rules beginners! on: November 02, 2019, 03:24:25 PM
Yes there's massive information on trading regardless its crypto or other financial markets and there are some vital facts that you must now before going into it!
1. Yes, it's theoretically possible that you can make huge money in a very short period of time but there's very high chance you would end up loosing all your money so never think of making easy and quick money!

I think this is the most important tip. Every one thinks that trading is like a fairytale the moment you will step in after ready a couple of books you will start winning every trade and you will be able to earn $500 each day for every day of month. This actually is not true. Even after complete study you require persistant practice to sharpen out your trading system and strategy it's because market has different phases and you need to find out at which phase does it works. It's not easy and quick money otherwise the whole world would have been just trading.

Let us also take into consideration our attitude in trading, it is not enough that we do have a lot of learnings and experience if we don't know how to keep calm.patience and discipline, then all those learnings that we have cannot apply properly, so we need to be careful on it.
It is not possible to earn huge profits form trading if a trader lacks patience and self control. Knowledge is the other important factor. Then a digital trader must be owner of bitcoin, as it is the most beneficial and volatile coin. The mindset of a trader has a lot to do with his career. Trading demands a calm mind. Taking the right decision at right time cannot be done with low patience and no discipline.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: November 02, 2019, 02:47:58 PM
Well, this issue will end soon? Not so sure. as long as their people still using crypto there are corrupt or greedy people because it is money. you know money will bring you to evilness like fiat currency. market is gaining billions and do you think do the jealousy just look like a dream come true? No, because that would make them a way to get money from others just to get rich. as long as money is involved anywhere bad activities will not end.

Scams are not just in cryptocurrency, we don't have to put all the blame on cryptocurrency, greed is human nature, and it is happening every where, in food, in love, in jobs, in gaining positions, and so may other things and most of them are not important at all. People want to have all the things he ought need, but it is just infatuations because it is basically what he "wants".

Scam will continue to exist as long as humanity exist, we are becoming more animals and animals are becoming more human these days.
Also I would like to point out that scams are rampant with fiat as the medium we just tend to give more attention to Bitcoin with regards of this issue. I always thought that there should be a force to put order amongst these people who abuse and take advantage of other people. Legalization of Bitcoin among different countries would be one step in doing so and even more so when the use of BTC would become widespread as we should expect that crimes would also became severe due to certain individuals.
There are organizations in almost every country of the world that deal with cyber criminals. Then there is FBI, NSA and stuff that takes care of criminals and frauds at international level. And do not underestimate them. Hat time is not far when bitcoin will be legalized worldwide. With every passing day, it is becoming famous and governments are talking about it. One last thing, scamming is more to do with stupidity of a person.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: JUST IN: Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Currency Called "DCEP" on: November 02, 2019, 02:02:32 PM
6 years... Damn, I can't believe they've been looking at blockchain and cryptocurrencies since late 2013, I don't believe they got interested in crypto-currencies since fairly early on, before all the ICO's and bull runs.

It's pretty solid proof that China is completely adopting this new cryptocurrency technology then, they have been very lax with crypto-currency in recent years and it looks like they want to develop an ecosystem that could possibly replace fiat, and their "DCEP" being at the top of it.

I can't wait for it to launch! Countries are definitely going to follow suit with this now.
I confused with China government where last three days they have made announce for listing and adopting bitcoin as legal transaction payment where announce by China president, but last day I got news correct or not with China announce for banned bitcoin as transaction and investment assets, will China playing with bitcoin issues and get profit with bitcoin moment with lower and higher price?
First of all, china understands the true power of bitcoin and blockchain technology. Secondly, it was blockchain that has been recently praised by the Chinese president and this resulted in an increase in the value of bitcoin. The central bank of china is working on its own digital currency. The most important thing that you need to know is, china wished and tried to take control of bitcoin but failed.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: November 02, 2019, 01:24:31 PM
you said crypto is not the best choice to store money but why are you still here ?  now you still insist to choose between btc and usd  ? but if financial crisis is also one your concern then i still didnt think that btc or crypto are the good choice to preserve your money because they are still volatile . who knows maybe your money will fluctuate and dump ? also if theres are financial crisis , i think cryptos are also going to get affected because people do also use fiat to buy btc/cryptos

OP didn't mean to say that crypto is not the best of choice to store his money, local currency (Russian ruble) is.
refer below.
I have about $1k in local currency (Russian ruble) and I strongly believe that this currency is not the best choice to store money for long periods.

OP is thinking if he will convert his local currency to secure the safety of his investment whether to BTC or USD, or maybe both.  He is confident to store half of it to bitcoin.

I suppose I will convert it to either btc or usd, I can't choose what is better... maybe I have to store money %50 in btc and %50 in usd... but I read somewhere there can be another global financial crisis soon... perhaps I could only store it as btc

If this is the case, then my sincere and friendly suggestion would be to invest in bitcoin. Now that he has this option, there is no point in thinking about USD or any other currency of any form. Nothing is as secure and beneficial as bitcoin is. USD holders invest their money into bitcoin. There are no risks with the king of crypto currencies. Still, if you have doubts, you can read about people who became millionaire with bitcoin.
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 31, 2019, 02:50:49 AM
The best way to know what's best for you is to try which is more comfortable for you that would suit your trading style. Everyone has their own trading style that suits to their strategy either long term or short term. Both has had their own pros and cons, it is only you who can answer to your question once you try it on your own. We are just giving you a heads up here so that it will be easy for you to trade on your own soon.
In the beginning, it is best to consider oneself as a long term trader and learn the behavior of market to the extent where it becomes easy to predict the next change. Once more understanding is developed, it becomes easy to day trade. The ultimate goal should be day trading. It is far more beneficial than any other form but this is only possible if the asset is bitcoin. Day trading demands volatile asset.
