261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jose Mourinho Next Job (Season 2024/2025) on: May 30, 2024, 04:25:56 PM
The GOAT manager currently has no club. With the decline in his rating, more people are saying that his methods are outdated, and after a recent title-less season in England and Italy, can he still land a big job? Or will he be content with a mediocre team or even a less prestigious job such as in the Saudi league or a national team?

Here's the odds from oddschecker (only Skybet):
Quote
Any Saudi Pro League side 4/5
Fenerbahce 5/2
Newcastle 5
Chelsea 5
Liverpool 12
Portugal national team 14
Bayern Munich 12
England national team 16
FC Porto 16
Napoli 16
Barcelona 16
Borussia Dortmund 25
Any MLS side 20
Ajax 25
Nottingham Forest 33
Sporting Lisbon 20
West Ham 20
Crystal Palace 33
Inter Milan 50
Man Utd 16
Tottenham 50
Benfica 20
Juventus 50
Arsenal 50

From the above data, it seems that people think Mou will go to Saudi Arabia, and surprisingly, the second choice is Fenerbahce. Is the Special One now a washed-up manager who can only get bad jobs? As a Mourinho believer, I still think he deserves to coach in the Premier League, preferably Newcastle. What do you think?
I agree with you that, Mourinho is still a top gun for me. He is an experienced manager, just that he hasn't gotten a big club that's willing to back him up with enough money to buy his right players and compete for the titles. Recently Mourinho complained that he wasn't backed up financially by the management of Manchester United, the way they have backed up Eric Ten Hag. Even when he was at Tottenham he also complained that Daniel Levy wasn't willing to bring money to buy players, that made him to leave club. So am still of the opinion that if Mourinho should still handle an ambitious club like Newcastle United, he will perform very well and win titles.
Jose Mourinho no doubt isn't any name when it comes to the football managerial world and every knows his capabilities and what is being discussed now is actually the major issues because as a coach in this current evolutionary period in football, a coach needs all the back up and support he can get financial from the board of the club or the owner if it's owned by a single person. Mourinho has it in his system and if anything he can actually adjust to how the football is going and that's why he has been doing quite well too even though the trophy aren't coming yet, his performance at the recent clubs he managed still shows he still has his flare just that the financial back up isn't just there.

263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shops now accept BTC on: May 30, 2024, 04:06:17 PM
It just get to know that some shops now accept BTC as exchange, that is very good Bitcoin is making progress, after some years now Bitcoin will shock the world, with the way things are going now.
I am not surprised by this fact, there are countries that are using Bitcoin as their main currency, almost all transactions are using Bitcoin currency. There is no doubt that Bitcoin is constantly improving. I don't think any country will be left out that is not using Bitcoin. People are secretly using Bitcoin in countries that have been declared illegal. I think all generations of Bitcoin are going to have a big impact very soon, when Bitcoin will be considered a legitimate currency for everyone in the world.
The thing is that maybe he is actually new to the crypto space and that's why he is actually suprised to see that shops are accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment because that has been occuring and it's not something new and a country like Switzerland would be a perfect example of exactly the place of where people accept Bitcoin as means of payment and also a whole country like El Salvador has even made it there legal tender and I bet probably lots of shops over there actually do accept Bitcoin in their businesses and rendering services.
264  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Bitcoin] Tips for investment on: May 30, 2024, 03:59:07 PM
For people who want to venture into bitcoin market to make investment this will be very helpful to us that is reading this post especially the newbies and to those who are finding it hard to understand the market very well.

How to start

  • First calculate the year you are with past previous bitcoin halving
  • Look at the past events or an occurrence
  • Difference between the past price, that is to say the mergin between previous and past price
  • Duration of investment, this very important after finding out the gap between the last halving and to the upcoming halving
  • Map out a fund not in a haste to use, that is to say; do not use money meant for school fee and projects to make investment
  • You should know the kind of wallet to used, exchange address or storing your asset on exchange is highly prohibited because you don't have total control of your asset
  • Do not store your seed phrase online or any other storage than offline, preferably jut it down with pen and paper
  • Do not allow your system or smartphone to be used by anyone other than you
  • Before investing in any other coin make appropriate research, to avoid being scammed by the project owner or team members

This is just the little tips I came with to share here.

Nice one my madam but I believe most of the point no dey all that actively relevant as I feel say na something wey most person for don get for their head as normal things of life but some of things you really hit am for head. One of the most important one of which I grabbed there was the part which you said about the seed phrase issue, that part I feel is very important because most newbie's don't even know the importance of their seed phrase as they treat it with so much ignorance and some of them actually get to experience the negative effect that comes with actually lose guarding your seed phrase to the wrong hands .
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 30, 2024, 03:47:30 PM
Chelsea, at present, is not a good place to develop talented players. Choosing a good club is very important for every talented player. Choosing a good club is a factor for a player to play in the Champions League. In my opinion, Osimen would prefer to choose PSG over Chelsea if he has good team management considerations. Luis Enrique is undoubtedly a good coach. But aside from these considerations, talented players make financial offers without the chance to play in the Champions League. It creates a very hostile environment.
Since mbappe is already certain in leaving the french side, I think replacing him with Victor osimien isn't actually a bad idea and for the idea of him getting a spot at Chelsea then that I really don't support at all because Chelsea is currently in a mental state that will probably decline any player's performance and not victor himself that's also struggling to meet up with form although I won't like that the English premier league certainly has more fierce competition than the french league and as a player he would enjoy where the hassle and tassel is real so he can improve every day.

I would also like to state that my transaction finally went through! Faith ~restored!
Happy for the news of a confirm successful withdrawal, this mean a lot to the entire gambling and crypto community. FreeBitco.in have been a key project in both Bitcoin faucet and the casino industry so its success is actually a success for crypto-powered casinos in general.

Perhaps more people will come out to testify of successful withdrawals, that will go a long way in restoring the confidence of the users. Indeed better days ahead and I'm excited about it already.
Indeed a major news, I won't lie I actually never doubted their trust as a casino and aslo a member of the community here, freebitico.in is not a new name to gambling and entire crypto space and they have proven their worth overtime through timeless times of effective service rendering and I believe this will also strengthen the faith of others here in the community about the casino also as a Bitcoin faucet they are.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 30, 2024, 05:13:56 AM
Casinos can't just "stop" when they think they reached the top, if you think that you are at the top and you no longer need to keep improving then eventually some other casino will continue to improve and pass you, and if you stop all together keep adding new stuff, then everyone will slowly pass you and you will no longer be even in the top ten after some point.

Stake knows this, if they stopped improving like for example 5 years ago, today they wouldn't be big at all. But they knew it, and they kept improving and working on their situation, which allowed them to grow bigger and better, that is how they kept their top spot. There are so many casinos that was once at top three, now not even in top ten list for most people because they stopped improving.
Well if you want to stay at the top then you must follow up with the recent happening because change is the only thing that every serious business owner or company must follow and when you talk about changing and adjustment, stake.com is the perfect example of what you mean by that, they completely moved with the tide of the gambling industry and have been successful in various areas in which many of their counterparts in the industry failed to do and that's why when you talk about big stake.com is exactly the right place to be.

Should Manchester United keep Erik Ten Hag?

3 cup finals, two domestic trophies + a top 4 finish under his belt, but he also managed the worst Premier League campaign in the history of Man United.

-ADante
It's hard to blame Erik Ten Hag for what's happening in Manchester United. David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and now Erik, everyone failed to make Manchester United successful. Is problem in managers? I don't think so because they are successful managers, especially Jose Mourinho, he is one of the best coach ever. What will the next manager do? Somehow magically bring the 2008's Manchester United back? I don't say that Erik Ten Hag is a fantastic manager or something like that but I think that there is a deeper problem in the club and that needs to be fixed.

Manchester united for me are passing through a whole big transition stage and during this time a lot of things needs to be corrected and that's why even the coaches are trying their best it's still not showing, what I feel this club Manchester united needs is a new board of body entirely atleast the one's that can make drastic decision and take up the tasks at its hand which is to reshuffle this team with an entirely new mentality from the beginning to the end. Also of all these coaches the only one that came close to replicate the old united spell was ole although he wasn't as successful as jose Mourinho I think but atleast his spell during the closing years with Manchester united was like old Fergie time when alot of lots were goals was scored by the united lads.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your biggest winning odd for single match? on: May 29, 2024, 07:01:44 PM
Let's share our biggest winning odd.

Last month I won a bet with 7.5 odd.
I bet on Tennis against Rafael Nadal.  Grin Grin Grin
Well I can't recall any big odd winning for me although for now am piping low abit on the sportsbetting section and I think am doing more of virtual games although it's way risky than the normal sportsbetting games but it's really sooting and relaxing especially if you are just playing the games for fun. For most of the virtual games I have played (soccer) my normal stakes are base on only huge odds with little staking power like 1-5$ and for most times I have won alot of the big odds like from 7-14odds depending on the particular time the system decides to play it.

~Snip~
Not all coaches and teams can execute their plans perfectly. Strategy alone isn't enough; luck also plays a part. Just because Atalanta succeeded doesn't mean Fiorentina will do the same tonight. However, Fiorentina is motivated as they aim to finish the season unbeaten with a win tonight.
But I'll be supporting Olympiacos because they play beautiful football and have the home advantage. but i'd predict that the Florence-based team will come out victorious. Quite a contradictory feeling, as I'm experiencing some confusion. If Fiorentina loses, it will be their second consecutive Conference League final loss.
Both coaches will try to do the best for their teams. Before this match started, the Olympiakos and Fiorentina coaches had made preparations and ensured that their teams could field the best starting XI. Olympiakos and Fiorentina have reached the final after some dramatic encounters in the previous rounds, this match will be decisive for both teams and will showcase their best performances which will result in an engaging match. Olympiakos qualified for the final after eliminating Aston Villa, high motivation is certainly still burning in the Olympiakos squad to beat their challengers again, while Fiorentina will try to play their best game so as not to become runners up again.
Dramatic indeed, besides if I was told that these two were the ones playing the finals I think I would have disagreed but to my surprise they actually made it to the grand final and I do hope they put on a good football masterpiece tonight too atleast to entertain me as am currently not supporting any of the two teams. But I think no doubt the Italian team might steal the win though.

UEFA Europa League final ended with a shock result, a big win from a weaker and underrated team.

The UEFA Champions League final will come soon.

You can check the odds of the final match, choose Odds types: American, Decimal or Fraction.
https://coinroyale.com/sports/soccer/uefa_champions_league/uefa_champions_league_final/free

What do you guys think about chance for Real Madrid and Dortmund to win the final match?

Dortmund are weaker but after a big shock from Leverkusen, how do you think about Dortmund and their chance to make another big shock?
Firstly, we cannot equate Dortmund with Atalanta, who beat Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final, even though not many people favored Atalanta at that time. This is the final match for Dortmund and Real Madrid where the odds are the same, but Real Madrid can still be the favorite because this team is very different from Leverkusen, who lost to many people's surprise. So I don't think that a big surprise will happen again in the Champions League final between Dortmund and Real Madrid.
First of all, let me clarify something back then when Bayern Leverkusen haven't lost that game the comparison between Real Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen were almost the same if anything Leverkusen would have even have slightly better chance of even comparison because the feat they pull off was nothing that anything team has done and if they can lose to Atlanta and even Manchester city can lose to Manchester united during the FA cup then what's makes you think or feel that there isn't a possibility of Dortmund actually winning the finals besides they played and earned their spot in the finals so they can still make wonders again
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 28, 2024, 09:56:40 PM
If you have a gamble budget for the day and you gamble without winning any of the game till you exhaust your gamble budget for that day, does not mean that you are chasing your losses because you are discipline enough to have a gamble budget and you will not go beyond it, no matter the losses you incur. Loss chasing refers to gamblers who does not have any gambling budget, but rather gbke more than the amount that they can afford to lose. Since it is the amount that they cannot afford to lose, this will trigger their emotion and they will want to gamble more believing that they can win back what the have lost.

It is bad to chase your losses and the fact remains that you cannot recover what you have lost, this is the wrong mindset that some gamblers have. The reason why I said so is because if you think you can recover your losses, it will trigger you to continue gambling even when you have exhausted your gambke budget. This will lead to lack of self control and addiction because you will be gambling whenever you think you can recover your losses.
Gamblers should think about the money they use for gambling as already lost, after all if you buy a video game, you do not really try to find ways to recover your money from the publisher if you liked it, you are just happy with what you got and enjoy your time playing the video game that you bought, and people should do the same with gambling, this way by considering that money as gone already, they will not be tempted to chase their losses, which is one of the more important factors which could lead a person towards addiction.
All I can is that it's easier said that done. It's easy to say to a desperate gambler not to chase after his loses and it's even more easier to tell him to stop gambling but the real deal is that, is he even going to give you a listening ear. Sometimes gambler get so trapped in the act that they totally forget whatever they are doing even if what or where they are going is completely showing and reeking of red flag, they find it hard to stop untill they have successfully seen the end result to their actions and that's why my only advice is that people should just don't regret whatever actions they take when gambling because it's all part of the process rather learn how to know when things are getting all spoilt for you @losing streak.
273  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 28, 2024, 09:18:59 PM
That's true going all in into gambling with one salary ain't advisable at all , to me that's is a sign of one not having self-control and also sign of being addicted to gambling. Because gambling is all about winning or Losing, and most time the chances of losing is way higher than winning, so there's high chances of losing all that salary once. So is way better to use some certain percentage of your salary than using all . And always use the kinda percentage you can afford to lose .

The source of income for each gambler is different. Some may be getting salaries on the job while others may be doing business. Also, some may get more salary and make more money while others may earn less. Also, some people have more expenses as compared to others. Therefore we cannot say how much salary or how much % of salary or income one can devote to the gambling. The figure may vary from person to person and more importantly, it depends on the financial condition of the gamblers.
Not everyone's income is the same. Some earn a lot of money in a month and some earn a small amount in a month. Some can afford to lose more money gambling and some can afford less. Now you should consider yourself how much money you can afford to spend on gambling. Gambling is usually played for fun, so you can gamble for fun. Never get addicted to gambling and spend a lot of money gambling. Gambling depends on luck, if luck is good you will win if luck is bad then you will lose.
Well I don't know about you but I feel there are some certain things you ought to do as a responsible gambler that would earn you that name and one of them for me is being strict with some of your gambling habits like knowing how much exactly you risk into gambling and also how much you would be taking off from important money like your salary and the reason why I say this is because I know of someone who fucking sit down after he is paid and gamble away with everything and the worse part is that the moments he starts one he doesn't pause till he ends up all his bankroll which is the habit of an addicted person.

Hey punters, have you heard of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League? Maybe you have or not. If you haven't, Autonomous car racing is a rapidly advancing field that combines cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), fast mobility stacks, innovative sensor technologies and edge computing to create high-performance vehicles that can perceive their surroundings, make decisions, and race competitively without human intervention. -https://a2rl.io/

When we talk about racing, we talk about the drivers, compare their performances, and all other odds but this is kind of different. It is all about betting on superior tech. Would you bet on an autonomous vehicle? How do you feel about placing your wagers on a race where the competitors are machines rather than humans?
In the world of gambling today, I think the race car category is a bit low when we look at the numbers of bettor that place bets on games there, I myself am not too much of a fan but I do like myself some good entertainment but I doubt it will be all that interesting as it's still at the early stages. What really marvel me now is how developed the world has become, I mean we now have games that are completely AI censored, that's so cool and what's next I could remember a few decades back if you would tell someone that all these development would be available he or she might have argued with you but now just look at how technology has rapidly made it's stand in the world.

wondering why commerical banks and other banks were not told to stop registering new customers and start displaying the warning.

P2P trading continues.

Is it crypto that makes Nigeria GDP to fall from $568 billion in 2014 to $252 billion in 2024? They have bad way of handling the economy but now they are lying that cryptocurrencies are contributing to naira devaluation.
Well I think you are not alone on this thought because I have pondering on the reasons why they would only limit the Fintech banks to registration of new account and allow the normal commercial banks or do they feel that those those commercial banks aren't also used for P2P transaction? Well this is Nigeria where the government always thinks and act sideways of the issue at hand so am not surprised but the funny thing about this whole issue is that despite the restrictions on these banks and also bans on some popular CEX, trading of Bitcoin and other assets seems to continue as normal and even the goals of what they all these actions for continue to worsen by every day so it's just a stupid move by the CBN if you ask me and with time I do hope someone with an insight to all these things can actually be elected as the CBN governor and maybe put an end to all these shenanigans.

278  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does addicted gamblers only lose money all the time on: May 27, 2024, 05:45:37 PM
I believe that even successful gamers are a little addicted to games. Only this dependence is of a different type. This addiction forces successful players to spend many hours a day at the computer, analyze matches for a long time, study the potential of players, and collect statistics. This is all very hard and boring work that needs to be done in order to win in the long term. But the problem is that no one wants to do this. Nobody even wants to analyze the success of their strategy. This is precisely the weak point in the player’s preparation. Our weaknesses tend to add up. Only a good gaming addiction can counteract this.
If the addictions is only to be stress on the screen then and not losing constantly to the act then maybe we can class that as actually a better addiction than losing and spending time being all stress out. As a gambler there are times that you would experience losses and sometimes winning but the major thing is that you learn how to manage these period because improper management is what really causes the addiction to be well known and noticable by other people around you. If a gambler understand the act of control then he could probably manage his addiction issues be it spending excessive time on the screen or just squandering money on gambling games.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 27, 2024, 05:29:15 PM
Pep is without doubt one of the best coaches in the world and I dare say that there couldn't be anyone better in his place at City, but it's time for a change, because somehow it gets boring to always see the same coaches with the same teams, doesn't it? We can watch City with Pep for another year and after that a lot will change. All other clubs change coaches after a few years at the latest and it's time for City too, although Pep apparently doesn't want to extend his contract and it's not City's fault.

Pep is leaving because he simply understands the timing: next year a decision will be made on City's 115 violations and if we have even the slightest faith in justice and common sense, the punishment for City will be such that it will either send them to the Championship directly or through a points deduction. It's unlikely that Pep wants (and knows how haha) to play by the rules, so his time at City is running out.
This rule violation issues for me is just overated, and its even more surprising to me when you made mention that pep guadiola and Manchester city could be dragged back to the championship, I mean how the hell do you even think that the board of Manchester city are going to let that happen for me all I feel that could happen is that they are going to be penalized maybe with a huge fine to pay and nothing else would be added or maybe a transfer market ban of which guadiola is meant to stay he could still manage but sending Manchester back to championship is just too absurd of a penalty to be given to Manchester city.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 27, 2024, 05:17:11 PM
Conte to Chelsea in this era is the wrong move and that will definitely send Chelsea closer to relegation; the squad is very younge and also expensive; Chelsea needs a good tactician and great manager to manage the squad, nagglesman comes to mind tbh

Conte won’t fit well at all

It hasn't even been a year since Nagelsmann was appointed as German national team manager. Therefore I wouldn't expect such thing to happen now. He is preparing for Euro 2024.  Wink  However if he was free agent then he would probably be among the options for Boehly. Because Chelsea wants a young manager currently.

While De Bruyne is expected to stay Ederson might think of leaving Manchester City maybe. Because Al-Ittihad is said to be monitoring his situation closely. Another Manchester City related rumour is that Guardiola might leave the team by the end of his current contract (which means next summer). What do you think? Will any of these happen you think or not?
These are the latest news on football currently since the season has come to an end, players will be moving from one club to another and it is the same with coaches, because every team want to build their club to be stronger than the previous season so that they can perform better in the next season. There is nothing that money cannot do, because football is now seen as business and players that lives money and are cool with the way they are and do not care about being famous anymore will move to SPL. This is because their offer can turn in the best player in the world who loves money than to be famous. After all why are you a football player, money is the first before trophies. Ederson will move to SPL because the offer is irresistible, it depends on Gaurdiola if he will be moving out from City or stay after his contract expires but the rumors is everywhere that he will be leaving.
Well since it's a rumor let's all just stay positive well atleast that's what I will be doing since am a city fan, guadiola is a good coach and if he leaves it will be difficult to find someone that can bring out that tenacity that this Manchester city team has shown for the last decay, Manchester city would probably face the same fate as many teams who have failed to find their past rhythm and one of those teams is even their noisy neighbors Manchester united. But the movement of players and coaches is always a certain faith during this period and like you said money is always the influencing figure during this season breaks.
