It seems to me that now is not the best time for altcoins.Now it is very important to form a strong portfolio that can survive all the fluctuations in the market. You can purchase only if you have a lot of free funds, and then you need to be careful with the choice.
I would wait for the crypto winter and then make my decision on whether to invest and on which project. We already saw majority of the hyped up projects touching their all time high valuation and if you were able to book your profit, then it is good for you as the correction was pretty huge as wall from its all time high and considering we already touched the all time high valuation, i am waiting for the major correction and then make my investment decision. |

my choice is polygon, for all the time of use there are no problems with the network, transactions are fast and most importantly cheap, but the solana network has hung up several times and this is a big minus today, this project occupies the top 10 CMC and should work without failures.
What do you mean Solana network has hung up several times, i have not encountered that situation. When it comes to investment, i will go to Matic aka Polygon because of the use case and the really low valuation and on the other hand Solana had its rally and majority of the projects that uses ETH network as their base platform usually migrate to Polygon because of the ease of migration and i always felt it is undervalued. |

Someone needs to remind Rishabh Pant that he is not playing T20 as he is throwing his bat with every ball and striking at over 180. This is the second day of the Test match and India is leading by 321 runs and how long they will be batting and put Sri Lanka to another misery and another huge defeat. There is no way they will be reaching 250 runs let alone chase any total over 300 and with all the time in the world India can bat for another couple of days just to improve their batting average  . |

Thiago was close to finishing the fight, however he hasn't been the same fighter since those knee surgeries. Thought that both fighters were a little too gun shy today, obviously being cautious as they know the power of one, and another. I think the decision going against Thiago was probably justified, although I did think he had at least the best chance of ending the fight on the night. Have you spot the recurring theme here, any fighter who put up a good fight with Jon Jones end up in a shitty phase after that fight, may be a burn out even after giving their best performance and still end up loosing, Alexander Gustafsson, Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, Dominick Reyes and these fighters are struggling, once a title contender against Jon Jones and showcased heart and gave him a good fight but now these fighters are on a loosing streak and never peaked after the Jon Jones fight. |

An acquaintance of mine bought some bitcoins last 2016 but unfortunately, he lost his private key. As far as I know, he had saved the private key in his mail draft, but he lost access to that private key because he lost his mail password.
But last year the price of Bitcoin skyrocketed, so he thought of his wallet and was able to recover the lost email address by contacting Gmail's support.
Maybe such an incident has happened in this case also because holding for 11 years is a very difficult task. But whatever, I don't think it is Satoshi, because he has been able to hide his footprints very well. It is possible that he lost his keys and now found out the private keys for the wallet, but the fact is there are a lot of users who mined during the initial days and never moved their coins and there is no need for them to move them as some of the moved from casual miners to serious miners and there is no need for them to use those wallets unless there is an emergency. |

There are a few reasons why bitcoins are not at 75,000 USD right now. The biggest are Russia-Ukraine war, threat of nuclear war, ongoing covid pandemic, rising inflation and slowing world economy. All these factors together made it a very bad start into 2022. But even with the short term outlook not looking so great, bitcoins are still above 30,000 USD. Seems like the market went down from the all time high valuation after hearing the possibility of a war and that is not the truth. The market touched its all time high valuation and majority of the market went down and there was a period we thought we are moving in a full bear mode, but even the market is hovering over $38k which is a good sign and war has nothing to do with the current valuation. |

I think that now all the parties should be happy as Shakib Al Hasan got his break that he needed and the Bangladesh team also will have him available for the South Africa tour.
He also didn't get picked for the IPL I guess. So, him changing his mind makes a lot of sense now. But, the Bangladesh cricket board and the Bangladeshi fans will be really happy now. Was Shakib Al Hasan having a really tight schedule and playing all the matches to have a rest. I have my doubts why he was not picked for the IPL because he will be willing to play for the IPL rather than touring with the team and may be the Bangladesh board has requested the BCCI to not pick him and now he will be available for the South African tour. |

For me, it's all useless debate but still we can talk this into test related thread because here we can talk only about t20. Test cricket is without any doubt very big game and need some good skills practice, and sadly it's not available in good way for Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, so it's difficult case for them to develop in this format. You cannot completely neglect Bangladesh in Test cricket in recent years. They are strong in their home ground and this year, they toured New Zealand and defeated them in one of the Test match and i would say it is a rapid improvement by them and with time they will improve their performance in the longer format. Even currently cricket is spreading and having some good popularity, but this format is not going to have some good share from this all because now it's having good base in only very few countries, so ICC need to do some good change in policies and try to give more chance for other countries to play more T20 and ODI instead of test cricket which give them some good chance for gaining profit and new skill players for these formats instead of this test which is now surely not going to help them in any case. Bangladesh does have a their own T20 franchise league and it will help in developing new players just like the IPL and many countries are starting their version of T20 franchise league and it will help in identifying new talents. |

I have learned a new technique and m following it, which is to sell at a high price then buy back when the market drop significantly this works most of the time but then I constantly check to see the previous performance and the time frame it uses to recover after any correction. If you are doing this experiment with the alt coin market i doubt whether you will be in profit as majority of the coins that touched the all time high valuation never rallied again and majority of the coins came down drastically and in that instance how do you manage you new found technique  . These sort of movement along with the market can be done, if you are investing in solid projects but majority of the token projects might not touch their all time high ever again and they eventually die off, so i would advise you to be careful in those aspects . |

^^^ The reason everyone picked Luna is because it is the only coin that rallied 73959.67% in the last two years and everyone who entered Luna will be riding the market and they could sell the coin while the rest of the coins mentioned never rallied as much as Luna. I missed the opportunities in investing in Luna during the initial stages and i am not even planning to invest in it at this stage.

There is a huge leap in the number of user during the peak of the pandemic, but to say that NFT will boost the gambling industry is pretty early as we need to move a long way. If the ICC is actually thinking about including cricket in the Olympics then I think it is a really good initiative by the ICC.
But, I am not sure at all about the 2032 thing. And I really don't think that it's going to be done by 2032 because even for 2032 we are a long way off from seeing cricket in the Olympics. But, I guess we have to wait and see what ICC does about this. The first initiative should be adding more teams into the international arena. We are talking about Cricket being included in the Olympics for a long time but the timeline is being pushed and now we are talking about Cricket being included in 2032, why not the Olympics before that, as far as i understand the host nations can take the decision on which sport to be included and next two Olympics will be conducted in France and the US respectively. |

Do not hold your tokens for too long without looking back, I have lost some this way because later they move to main chain running on separate blockchain, imagine if you decide to check the progress of that project only in 2024 and you see that you've missed out on swapping your old tokens to the new coin.. That is a valid point, there are certain coins in my old wallet where they changed to a new chain and i failed to look at their update after the last correction and only after a few years i came to know that some of the coins i am holding changed to a new chain and when i asked about migrating it to the new chain, they claim that the swapping options is not available. It would call them as a scam as i hold the old coins because i invested money in them and then to take a decision that the coins i invested did not have any valuation and i cannot claim the new chain is ridiculous and once i debated in the official chat they will ban you. |

There is no comment on this and that is what i voted because in a situation where the economic situation is struggling the price should increase, but what we saw was when the war broke out, the cryptocurrency market went down drastically before recovering from it after a couple of days and we are still finding it difficult to break the resistance above $44k and hence i am not sure what the market situation would be in the next couple of months. |

This pitch is paradise for the spinners but seamers taking early wickets under the light is kinda -out of the syllabus- situation.
The kind of help pitch was offering to spin during first 2 session, i had no idea that Indian seamers will also have some fun on this pitch, guess bowling under the light do have some effect in India, sample size is small tho (it happens only in SENA countries). In their short spell i've already seen fair amount of outswing and inswing. The wicket looks interesting as the pitch is helping spinners and fast bowlers and that is what is needed to see interesting matches, i did not expect this kind of match as the batsman was struggling and that is what is interesting to watch. BCCi should host more D/N test. Let's say 2 D/N if its 4-5 test match series (against Eng and Aus) and 1 fixed D/N when its 2-3 match series. Crowd is eccentric and have some sort of IPL vibes.
Ofc venue also matter.
Looks like the day night matches are fun to watch as everyone is throwing their bat and end up loosing wickets, Sri Lanka lost their 5 wicket and this is the third session of the first day and already 15 days lost in the day and by the speed of the match it will be over within 3 days . |

When there was a major correction, i expected the market to go down further but magically it was held together and it did not go down to $30k levels for a long time and it is exciting to see how long we will have a strong support at $30k. |

If you go with rankings, Shakib in all rounder category is no 4th in Tests, 1st in ODI and 2 in T20I rankings. With such extraordinary rankings don't know why he is still not picked by IPL despite the fact he is not from Pakistan. Every year IPL gives too many surprises in terms of players that went unsold. I believe this is the main reason him going cheaply or unsold in last 2-3 season. Shakib Al Hasan recently got a central contract from BCB and earlier he was not having that i believe as he was banned and having some issues with their cricket board and may be that has everything to do with his career in the IPL as well. When it comes to teaching some player a lesson, they cricket boards will come together, other than that there is no reason for his exclusion. |

Counter argument would be.
Pitches are more friendly to bowlers (We see plenty of results instead of draws) and batting has taken a fair amount of hit. Giving a Indian example, earlier India used to have excellent batters of spin, at least 5-6 players on top order and now look at current lot.
If this current Indian line up facing Ashwin-Jadeja then most of em would fail royally except couple of guys.
I would not say that the pitches are more bowler friendly but it is fair for everyone and to hold up the interest in Test matches, there was a time when the pitches were created solely for the batsman and hence most of the matches ended up in a draw and in order to see results the ICC might have pressurized respective countries to create pitches that will aide batsman and bowlers and hence we are seeing results. |

I am actually scared to touch any of these random drops as i have heard about wallet hacks when you connect those random coins it is a common scam technique that is used by hackers and it is really irritating as well as your wallet will be filled with dust coins whenever you make a transaction and there is no way you could hold them back, hide the coins and ignore them and that is the only solution. |

Hey guys theres a news article stating that ebay might be accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos, if this happens then I believe itll be a game changer for the crypto world. Not sure how credible the article is , has anyone else heard anything similar. Also there was mention of an announcement on march 10 to confirm this. If positive, We could see a new high even in these times uncertainty . We really do not need any further endorsement from anyone to be a game changer. This was huge when they would have accepted 7 years back when we are in the starting phase but right now there is not a kid in the financial sector that is not aware of the cryptocurrency market. So i would not bother nor many here would bother whether they add or not . |
