261  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: MyEtherWallet introduces "MEWconnect" for Android & new interface in beta phase on: January 17, 2019, 07:36:12 AM
Checked root files too,but not sure what is the name of the folder so going through thousands of root folders to find the recovery seeds.

I will try to restore when I find the seeds if its stored in the root folder of my Android and will update later here.
When you created your wallet with MEWconnect have the app give you a seed phrase?

It seems that there is no other way to recover it according to their User Guide from here https://mewconnect.myetherwallet.com/#/user-guide

Quote
If you forget it, we cannot recover it for you. There is only one other way to recover a wallet, and we’ll get to that soon.
It means that the app still in beta version and maybe the private keys are stored directly to their server, not in your local phone storage.

So it is not safe to use if you just created your wallet from MewConnect but if you already have a private key or seed phrase from MEW you can use this app as a companion app to be safe on phishing sites.
I didn't try with my old MEW address, just created new one to see how it works. They didn't give any seeds but they updated that the private keys successfully stored in local storage so I went to see but can't find any.

I didn't say recover, just have the option to restore with seeds.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or a new start? on: January 16, 2019, 07:04:27 PM
It maybe a new start to the government to increase their earnings from crypto industry as well, but revolution means the entire system needs to be changed we don't have to gt excited to pay in bitcoin because already bitcoin will be accepted everywhere that is what kind of revolution we are looking sore,so don't care much about the small things happening around the world.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Pocket Strategy on: January 16, 2019, 04:10:03 PM
Lowering the betting amount doesn't going to increase the chance of winning,it will only increase the chance of playing more but still depends on luck that we are going to win or lose more.
Are you sure that you will be in control after a frustrating losses ? I guess I will simply go for another big betting so that I will be able to recover all my losses in single shot. This is the practical one and lowering base-bet and ensuring long run are just  theoretical things and will never work in real time.

Quote
Betting all in single bet also not a good idea unless we don't have enough time to gamble.
Usually gamblers will be having all the times but bankroll is the only constraint as both physical and online casinos are available 247. I mean to say, the reason for all in single shot is not lack of time.
In general people will get tempted to increase the bet amount to chase back the losses but still it won't go in our way if we are not lucky so it doesn't going to increase the winning percentage by any chance.

Agree that people going to gamble will not be in the lack of time but I won't go all in at any cost, not sure about others. Smiley
264  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: MyEtherWallet introduces "MEWconnect" for Android & new interface in beta phase on: January 16, 2019, 04:03:36 PM
it says the private keys will be stored in this device. So I closed the app and searching for the private key folder on my mobile, but can't find where it was stored.
I guess it will not be stored in the local file manager of the app but instead it will be stored in the root folder of the app mostly it's stored in its local database, few apps use sqlite for that.

so open the app again and entered encryption password but I can't login and even didn't find any tab to click after entering the password
This is the one that bothered me, have you tried to clear data then restored using its seed?

3.) in every loss, lower your bet so you can have more chances of winning again. If you bet all your money on one single bet and lose, then you know whats next. Go home lonely.

Thank you for that,it will really help lot of people to access their MEW access more easily,I am just downloaded it and looking forward to use how it goes for the next few days.
Can you tell us if it also has compatibility with connecting hardware wallet when sending eth or erc20 tokens? I can't see any details from the playstore and the medium link they release.
As far as I noticed there is no option for that yet.

Here is my experience after used MEWconnect on Android.

When I open the app for the first time,I saw two options like create new wallet or restore old wallet from recovery seeds.I just used to create new wallet with encryption password only and after creating the NEW wallet it says the private keys will be stored in this device. So I closed the app and searching for the private key folder on my mobile, but can't find where it was stored. Then I thought these storage place will be given on the app so open the app again and entered encryption password but I can't login and even didn't find any tab to click after entering the password.

I only saw forget password option, when I entered into that it asked for recovery seeds. So I am stuck at this level.Maybe problem with my android version or the from Beta app.So I suggest you guys to make sure that you have your recovery seeds before depositing any ethereum into it.

Thank God,I didn't deposit anything.

268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your advice is needed on: January 15, 2019, 02:07:22 PM
I want to dedicate my life to cryptocurrency from now till five years time and see what I can learn and make from it in all way ,is it a good path to follow? Is it wise to leave my crap job behind and be fully into cryptocurrency? Anyone on here that already did the same? How is the experience??
Why you want to leave your job to learn about crypto currencies,do if you have enough money to live your life for the next five years otherwise not advisable to do.You can just learn about the crypto currencies from online itself so just work as always and dedicate your free time for learning about blockchain and crypto currencies.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do You Think A Bull Run Is Really Coming on: January 15, 2019, 06:35:07 AM
Not everyone is waiting for the bull run to make profits, some of them can still use the market movements and make profits it so people who are waiting for the bull run waiting too constant so the chance of bull run happening only when there are new people enters into the market and increases the cap values.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a System for Turning Something into Nothing [VIDEO] on: January 15, 2019, 05:38:33 AM
As long as bitcoin have the value ad it can be liquidated into fiat then it is not something,we can convert it into fiat whenever we want with the increase or decrease with the value from the prices while we bought it,this is called investment (digital investment).
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 15, 2019, 04:28:33 AM
The prices made a spike last night after the dump happened few days back so its just still hanging out there and it will come back really hard and it will be more crazy than 2017,just trust that it would happen. Smiley
272  Economy / Economics / Re: why are you sure the bitcoin will be make economic freedom? on: January 14, 2019, 04:27:49 PM
Economic freedom means when you want to make transaction of your money by your own, which may not denotes the prices. The decentralization means it is not directly controlled by anyone but from the supply and demand theory it can be manipulated so some people are dumping the prices buy decreasing the demand which has nothing to do with the exchanges.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There are some indispensable things that new traders need to know. on: January 14, 2019, 03:42:14 PM
~

Number 1 was kinda different for me. I never changed exchanges since I started trading. Binance just simply suits my needs and I don't think I'll need more anything than that. It's either I trade or not, or call it a day when I day trade.
Sometimes #2 is quite situational. Pumps also happen to alts whenever BTC pumps due to different buys due to late pumps of those trying to catch up to the ride.
Number 3 is simply basic knowledge but complex application due to variation of investment strategies.
Number 5 is something that is not for the day-traders since they continuously sell then buy and vice versa gaining small profits.
Lastly, number 9 is the hardest to understand statement for a lot of traders since emotions always were involved in trading. The fear and despair that always await right in the corner of the TAs are the things that triggers these emotional trading.
There are no strategies for making perfect trade always, these are the guide to beginner and it is a good read too.But trading is like crucial thing when we can't decide about acting to a news or not even if the news is fake still the prices gets influenced so for perfect profitable trade we need luck too.
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: January 14, 2019, 01:34:19 PM
Think of trading only if you are in need of that,it can be considered as job but you also need to have some other kind of income to survive your life when the market is bad.You can try trading only you know the basics and proper knowledge about the market condition which can get benefit on your side but still yes its like gambling so you need to look for small profits with more number of trades other than waiting for big profits.

276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: failure to gain profit on: January 14, 2019, 05:55:22 AM
The crypto market is currently very unstable. I am easily affected, in panic selling conditions like now I sometimes sell bitcoin at a price lower than the purchase price. The result is a fatal loss.

So far, I have only relied on news information obtained from forums and social media and a little understanding of the foundation of price charts and market movements to make investment decisions in Bitcoin.

Then what is the way so that I can make a big profit ...?

How to effectively avoid unnecessary losses ...?
If you don't want to loss, then don't sell it now.You are doing good but this is not the right time to make huge profits you maybe earned something if you tried day trading but beginner the chance of losing also there so don't do anything now, just hold it.You will start to make profits once the bulls wakeup.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: January 13, 2019, 06:05:43 AM
People have their own opinion about online gambling depends on why they were gambling and what their needs,I am gambling in online because of I can do at the place where I want,no time limit and minimum bet amount but in the casino we can't go with few bucks to try our luck.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Searching Trading Effective strategy on: January 12, 2019, 06:09:05 PM

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible for beginner can long term hold Altcoin? on: January 12, 2019, 05:51:56 PM
Can you suggest me which one is best Altcoin coin hold for 2018? Huh
For 2018, it was better not to hold anything, but in 2019 I think much will change and it is better now to hold such tokens as eth eos xrp, they are excellent for a long investment!)
They are not tokens by the way, they are coins. You need to know the difference between token and coin first before starting out to be a long term investor irrespective or beginner or veteran.I don't suggest to hold tokens ans the centralized coin like XRP for the long term since the chance of losing price is more with that coin.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: January 12, 2019, 03:58:47 PM
Only one reason for the price is falling because of the manipulation from the people who is holding larger amount of bitcoins,it will get diluted over time when the coins get diversified by the new people getting into the market. For the people who want to support the cryptos just do what you want don't get influenced by the outside sources like media or signals.
