It would be great if you can set up anything that will show notifications at least for quotes and mentions.

If the set up will be easy then I am sure all actual Maggiordomo bot users will use it (at least until Piggy is back  ).

I think there are quite a few Maggiordomo bot users, taking into consideration how many views this thread has compared to others started at the same time.

I see that without the bot and notifications I am missing or am too late with a lot of things on the forum.


That was just a perfect tool to be fully aware of all activity on the forum in which we were involved and additionally give the insights about things we are not aware of like username mentions, quotes and so on. Without this bot, we are missing a lot of organic action which concerns us. I think all actual Maggiordomo bot users know exactly what I am talking about. The daily tasks on the forum are much easier and faster with this bot.


I already found this thread but for me, this doesn't work at all in Google, Firefox, Edge, Brave and these are all browsers I am actually using.

I was using it until now Maggiordomo bot from member Piggy but lately stopped to work so I started to look for an alternative and of course, found your thread.

Maggirordomo bot was very easy to set up (just look in the thread), anyways many times multiple people found even this setup too hard and were confused.

Once I even made a short tutorial with screens because there were so many questions and confused members who couldn't get the bot to run and this required only to send a message, to be honest.

I will be happy to know if there is any way to get your bot working with the Telegram desktop app to receive notifications or is it only possible on the phone?

Does anybody know any good alternative for Maggiordomo bot?

Nobody knows how long it will take, so maybe try something different as we wait, of course, if there is any because I only heard about Piggy notification bot for Bitcointalk so far.

During this year I got so used to him that I don't know how to deal with finding all the threads I'm active in or posts that need my answer.

Same here but I use PM to receive notifications and already didn't have any from a couple of days.

I even tried to adjust settings and sent a PM to Maggiordomo with new settings 2 days ago but nothing changed until now.

I thought only I am affected but now I see that this is a bigger problem and we need Piggy to resolve this.

This bot was so helpful that I can't find my way on the forum now if notifications are not coming.

A jak już, to skorzystam i pociągnę offtop w temacie offtopu   .

Bo ciężko jest dyskutować strikte na temat przez długi czas i defenicja lub inaczej implementacja offtopu na forum, powinna być troszkę inna moim zdaniem.

Offtop, to chyba najczęściej występujące (poza spamem oczywiście) nadużycie na forach, ale nie dziwi mnie to wcale i jest cała masa nie usuniętych offtopowych postów, więc albo powinny być zabronione, raportowane i usówane bez wyjątku, albo nie. Szczególnie, szkoda wartościowych postów, które zostały usunięte i będą w przyszłości, ponieważ ciężko jest zarzucić komuś w takim przypadku świadome działanie na szkodę. Bo chociaż świadomie i wbrew regułom, pisząc taki wartościowy post faktycznie dodaje wartości do tematu i podsyca dyskusję, dodatkowo rozszerzając ją nieco.

Jak wiemy temat wątku można zmienić w każdej chwili (pozostawiając oryginalny w pierwszym poście) i ciągle myślę, żeby zacząć z tego korzystać, kiedy dyskusja przejdzie na trochę dalsze od oryginalnego tory. Nawet można by zmieniać podczas offtopu i wracać później do oryginału. Myślę, że to lepsze rozwiązanie niż kasowanie postów i psucie aktualnej offtopowej dyskusji, bo to przecież jest forum i tu  chodzi właśnie o dyskusję, więc z każdej powinniśmy się cieszyć i ułatwiać, a nie hamować, a nawet za to karać. Szczególnie kiedy jest deficyt.

Muszę dodać, że na szczęście, na naszym lokalu takie offtopy zazwyczaj nie są usówane dzięki moderatorowi.

Zgadzam się, że bariera edukacyjna jest duża, ale sytuacja z takimi zdecentralizowanymi giełdami i tak wygląda dużo lepiej, jeżeli porównać je do pierwszych czyli Etherdelta i Forkdelta, które były na prawdę trudne w obsłudze i bardzo bugowate.


No właśnie, a kiedy dodać do tego niskie wolumeny, to nic dziwnego, że praktycznie nikt ich nie używa.

Ale myślę, że sytuacja może się zmienić, kiedy nie będzie już możliwe w ogóle handlowanie na zcentralizowanych giełdach bez KYC/AML, bo jak na razie, nadal można na na wielu handlować samymi kryptowalutami z niskimi limitami.

Moim zdaniem wszyscy prawdziwi fani decentralizacji i Bitcoina powinny korzystać zawsze, kiedy to tylko możliwe z giełd zdecentralizowanych, z oczywistych powodów.
Ale jak to w życiu, wielu z nas deklaruje, że są za Bitcoinem i decentralizacją, przeciwko bankom i całemu systemowi walut fiducjarnych, ale przez wygodę, a czasem nawet tylko z lenistwa nie robią nic, żeby wesprzeć tą rewolucję.

Bardzo mało mówi się o giełdach zdecentralizowanych, a BISQ https://bisq.network/, to na prawdę wyjątkowa giełda i brakuje jej tak na prawdę, tylko większych wolumenów, bo wszystko chodzi jak marzenie i praktycznie działa, jak każda normalna giełda, z tą tylko różnicą, że nasza kasa jest zawsze bezpieczna  .

Dopiero co cieszyliśmy się fajnym airdropem Stellara na platformie Keybase, który miał trwać jeszcze przez ponad rok, a tu dzisiaj dostałem powiadomienie, że niestety kończy się już teraz  .

Czemu?

Jak zawsze przez ludzką zachłanność i hakerów, którzy zarejestrowali nieskończone ilości fejkowych kont, kiedy zmieniono zasady i wystarczyło praktycznie, tylko potwierdzić numer telefonu.
Wcześniej było wymagane konto na Githubie zarejestrowane co najmniej 2lata temu i to była wystarczająca bariera, ale coś nie chodziło no i poprawili, no i teraz mamy, to co mamy.
Oczywiście ani Stellar nie chce rozdawać pieniędzy nieuczciwym partycypantom, ani Keybase nie chce mieć takich użytkowników, więc korzystają z puntku w regulaminie airdropu i kończą go po dystrybucji w tym tygodniu.

Czyli dostaniemy, tylko jeszcze jeden raz darmowy Stellar do portfela na Keybase. Podobno odrzucili masę ludzi, więc ciekawe komu przyjdzie ta ostatnia wypłata, a komu nie?

Jak myślicie czy to prawdziwy powód, czy raczej taki airdrop to strzał w stopę przy aktualnym stanie rynku i Stellar to zrozumiał?
W szczególności kiedy nie ma zainteresowanych dużych inwestorów tak jak w przypadku Energi, którzy skupili by wszystko tanio od słabych rąk, nie niszcząc przy okazji ceny?

Yes, this is the sad truth that there is no liquidity for the INV token. This is the best example that tokens with no real use cases will be forgotten in the end despite the project and development.

There is still hope for the INV token when the Investa team will implement it to the actual products they have. If INV will be implemented in the exchange, ATM's, etc. and people will be able to save on fees when using it there is a big chance for an organic demand. I am waiting actually for any announcements about the implementation progress but from the last couple of weeks the Telegram group is very quiet and there are almost no updates. Of course, group Admins are active and answer questions but there are no new announcements and I asked about this already a couple of times.

Investa delivered so far all products from the roadmap, so I believe them and wait patiently further. I hope they are working hard on it and there will be updates soon.
