2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters.io: Innovative Bounty Platform for Influencer Marketing on: April 25, 2020, 08:07:23 PM
I know that this is a very old thread, but there are many unpaid bounties in my Bountyhunters.io account and for a long time I can't get any answers.

Maybe somebody from the team will finally react here and if not then at least I will warn our members.

I see that there are no new bounties from some time already, but this is not important and all older campaigns should be paid or proper announcements made about the payouts and projects.

Of course, I understand that some of these projects finally end up with nothing or even scammed, but still to leave the service open and provide no further support to the users is just not professional and everybody should think twice before even take into consideration any collaboration with Bountyhunters.io in the future.

I haven't received my BTC in full, and it has a deduction of somewhat fees like 0.00035, I guess...

BTC withdrawal transactions only:

Withdrawal fee depends on the following parameters:

-How many bytes do the transaction include. It is difficult to define mentioned parameter prior the withdrawal request.
-How fast should the transfer be performed. In FJ’s case it is equal approximately 20-25 minutes.
They have taken withdrawal fee from me too last time...

So these parameters are true because last week I got the full payment with no fees deducted at all, but this time I paid a fee of 0.00068837 BTC, which is almost 2 times more from what Cabalism13 paid. I have to admit that it was almost an instant transaction (if not confirmations), like always.

We can see that indeed fees are not equal and sometimes BTC withdrawals are even fee-free.

I have a suggestion: if the fee depends on time, then it would be great to have an option to choose a longer withdrawal time for no or smaller fee.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC really be a safe haven? on: April 25, 2020, 05:18:11 PM
...If we are looking to find a safe haven, a hedge instrument, then the very first thing you should be thinking of is gold.  It's been around for a very long time as a mode of currency/safe storage.  A LONG TIME.  So, bitcoin needs to continue to gain user adoption which will help stabilize price as well as increase it's power as a store of wealth...

Fully agree with you that Gold is the best and so far longest used safe haven, for sure we should keep close attention to it, but also we have to remember that the time is going forward very fast, especially when it comes to technology and finances, everything is evolving, so fast as never before.

This can and for sure will have an impact on everything, so maybe in 10 years gold will be not used as safe haven anymore, maybe BTC will, despite everything. Why?

Because gold is not easy to store, move, pay with, secure, send, buy, sell, etc. Lately, I have heard a discussion between two investors and they agreed that gold is a good investment right now and they would like to have it in their portfolio, but the problem is, they don't want to trust to anyone, only really own this brick of gold and to have it safe in their own possession. If you want to buy more gold there is no easy way to check the gold you are buying. There is no easy way to check the hall brick from inside, outside for the purity correctly. It makes the gold in our times less and less usable.

Of course, BTC is the opposite of gold because it is easy to store, send, pay with, and mainly because of this many people started to literally call it safe haven, but they are forgetting about many problems... like volatility.

It turns out that the biggest problem is the extreme leverage on cryptocurrency markets, which is offered by unregulated offshore exchanges.
How do you know? There is no direct evidence of that.

Of course, I am speculating, but based on strong facts.

This is strange...that I have never heard about Poker.com room before... taking into consideration the name and URL.
This is exactly what I was thinking, how have I not heard of them with a domain like that? ...
Probably parked domain up for grabs that are worth millions for someone who wants to buy...

For sure is worth millions.

https://www.igamingbusiness.com/news/pokercom-domain-sale

Pretty strange that such an insane costly domain name was lying around unused or was used so badly that nobody has ever heard of them  Cheesy.

Luckily now Poker.com is (let's hope  Wink) in better hands and we will see big success with the poker room and casino under this catchy name.

Going back to the poker.com poker room itself, not enough traffic is for sure an issue. I wanted to play few hands to try out, but after a fast look on the cash tables, I found only one Texas Holdem table with 3 players, by the second, was only one player sitting around and waiting for action. Additionally, it was a player from the first table, so the count was only 3 players in total. Disaster, taking into consideration that it was Saturday at 4 PM.

Of course, I will try tomorrow to play the freeroll to test it out, but my suggestion is to maybe hire poker props and they will create more traffic and action.

All messages I got from FortuneJack into my email account are also available in my FJ account, at least I got all these messages also in my inbox there.

...Na pump and ump to nie wygląda bo wolumen spory...

Zgadzam się, byki pokazały dużo siły przebijając opór na 7400$ i zatrzymując zieloną świeczkę dopiero na cenie 7800$ za BTC.

Najbardziej interesujące będzie kilka następnych dni, bo potrzeba rosnącego wolumenu i to na zielono  Wink, żeby pchać cenę BTC coraz wyżej.

2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC really be a safe haven? on: April 24, 2020, 10:06:17 AM
...I think volatility is not the major problem. As long as its volatility is not correlated to stock market, it can be somehow a safe haven.

Then what is? What stops BTC from being a real safe haven?

Of course, there are many different factors that are not helping either: small market size, low liquidity, immature regulatory environment, but still, at the end of the day, we will finish at volatility because all mentioned factors only fuel it even more.

In my opinion, very high leverage on such small markets with low liquidity is like asking for disaster, which almost happened on the 12th of March, when Bitfinex has "server problems", which stopped BTC price from falling to 0. Whales, or large individual investors, in such a small market could and for sure are hunting for liquidity, causing all these sharp spikes and selloffs. Of course, such fast price fluctuation is responsible for many liquidations on leveraged trades, as we have witnessed, so many times during the last two years.
https://cryptoslate.com/advanced-botnet-attack-caused-1-2bn-in-longs-liquidation-on-bitmex/
https://bitcoinist.com/bitmex-liquidations-bitcoin-2020/

Of course, all these problems don't help BTC to be a safe haven, but still, I personally think that volatility caused by high leveraged trades on the small BTC market is the key here.

Cryptocurrency market capitalization is actually: $216 billion when global stock market capitalization in 2019 was $90 trillion and in this year only gained 17 Trillion in value, when crypto market lost during the last few years almost 600 Billion. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/24/global-stock-markets-gained-17-trillion-in-value-in-2019.html

Like this, we will know exactly who applied and how many times, not only the posting stats.

2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can BTC really be a safe haven? on: April 23, 2020, 01:24:06 PM
To answer the question: can BTC really be a safe haven? we'll have to find out what is the main problem that keeps it far away from being one?

In my opinion, this is VOLATILITY. So what forces BTC to make such large price movements?

It turns out that the biggest problem is the extreme leverage on cryptocurrency markets, which is offered by unregulated offshore exchanges.

BTC is highly concentrated and data show that almost 95% of BTC resources belong to a relatively small number of addresses. Such conditions give the market a 'kick' and increase greed.
At the same time, many traders who are using highly leveraged trading platforms have a very high-risk appetite and not always the skills needed to play with 100 or 200X leveraged trades.

BTC                ADDRESSES      %                 COINS                 USD              %COINS

https://bithub.pl/wiadomosci/bitcoin-na-lasce-algorytmow-dlaczego-btc-i-safe-haven-to-na-razie-zwykla-mrzonka/

Most exchanges that offer trading with very high leverage were not designed to handle not only the large-scale volumes in times of heavy market congestion but also the network traffic itself.
The problem of overloading exchange servers has become very common in the last two years. It is ironic that such things happen, of course, at times when markets tend to increase their trading volume drastically. This is a big problem, as we have seen lately, because it makes it difficult for traders to reduce their exposure, when such an event occurs, leaving them at the mercy of aggressive liquidation algorithms.

We have to remember that regulated exchanges only offer around 3 times leverage.

Crypto exchange insurance funds act both as an external picture of the exchange's success, but also as a measure of how aggressive and harmful their liquidation algorithms are for the traders.
This is because on almost every crypto exchange the insurance fund is capitalized from the liquidations of traders' positions.

100x leverage and higher 200X is attractive (at least at first glance) for a trader who wants to maximize profits with a minimum contribution of his own capital, but it causes this insane BTC price volatility, which prevents the profitable use of such high leverage. If the plug by Bitmex would not be pulled out on time a few weeks ago, BTC price would fell to 0$.
How could this happen? Isn't this still too early for such high leverage 100 or 200X in the crypto market?
https://hacked.com/bitcoins-price-recovery-stalls-as-bitmex-shuts-down-u-s-accounts/

In my opinion, only because of this Bitmex incident it would be wise to limit the widely available throughout the ecosystem high leverage to stop this absurd volatility and give a chance to BTC to be this safe haven finally!!!

Quote
Until the crypto exchanges attempt to solve this problem, bitcoin will not free itself from the framework of being a spinning toy towards a resource of true interest for traditional market players.

2252  Economy / Reputation / Re: A Large Farm of accounts cheating on Sig. Campaigns [Last Update: 04/16/2020] on: April 22, 2020, 12:54:57 PM
Assuming that Polar91 account is your main account, you actually had a chance to LEGITIMATELY earn well with the higher-paying signature campaigns...all you needed to do was to provide good content to the readers to slowly rank your way up. But no, you had to do cheat the system. And now you're giving us a sob story just so hopefully the Bitcointalk community gives you sympathy?...

Exactly my thoughts on this farm and cheating, was it needed, as OP says?

It was enough to not participate in the same bounty campaigns and even if OP would have a legion of alts he will be safe and keep making a lot of money.

This is so much work to maintain so many accounts, so why they do it, why to cheat at all? Is this easier to participate in the same bounty Huh I don't think so.

Anyways, there are enough possibilities to make money according to the rules on the forum, so cheating is bad and excuses are only excuses... from a cheater.

As you can see I already reviewed the https://eth.bitaps.com/ explorer a few posts above and added to my compilation, thank you one more time.

I just want to let you know, that the second one you provided: https://explorer.ether1.org/, is not an Ethereum explorer.

This explorer is from the project Ether1 https://ether1.org/ and doesn't show any Ethereum blockchain information.

Just read a few posts above to know the latest news and development progress because if something important happens I always write about it in this thread to inform Bitcointalk members, at least I do it from the ICO until today, as you can see.

INV token is already listed for a long time on another exchange: https://www.satoexchange.com/market/INV/ETH, but this is not important because there is no liquidity at all.
Please read my older posts to understand the situation better.

2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * BEST Poker sites w/ BTC * on: April 20, 2020, 11:26:35 PM
...Any other good sites out there?

Here a few established poker rooms with a very good reputation, which are operating for a very long time:

Pokerstars - great poker room with a lot of players. There are almost 80K people by the tables on average. I think actually this is the biggest and most known poker room. There is enough traffic, but I don't like or rather for me there are not enough small stakes Texas Holdem tournaments, sit and goes or freerolls, but plenty of Omaha tables and tournaments, if this is something for you. They offer almost all deposit and withdrawal methods, but still no cryptocurrencies which is a real shame.

Americas Cardroom - here is also decent traffic. I haven't checked their tournaments lobby closely yet, but I was happy to see a lot of small and medium stakes Texas Holdem tables full of players. There are really enough people to play with 24 hours per day, literally on all stakes and what is important - there are many fishes. I like that they give some rake back to their players (exactly 27%) which can be redeemed every day. Additionally, they accept deposits and withdrawals in BTC.

Winamax - another great poker room with a lot of players, tournaments, freerolls, bonuses, etc. Only not all countries are allowed and their main focus is on France actually and other not restricted EU countries. Still, everybody is welcome to play and cash out the winnings, just need to use the VPN. It is important that they don't have anything against VPNs, because it could cause a lot of problems when one will try to withdraw winnings. They accept: Paypal, Skrill, Wire Transfer, Visa.

I hope this helps a bit. Of course, I only focused on these poker rooms which were not mentioned already in this thread, like SwC or Bet online.

2257  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Poker.com on: April 20, 2020, 08:55:45 PM
This is strange, but I have to be honest and admit, that I have never heard about Poker.com room before and I know almost all of them or at least I have heard the names a couple of times before.

Not only never heard about the poker room, but also I didn't know about the educational page from poker.com, which is pretty strange taking into consideration the name and URL.

I wonder why I haven't ever seen it in google searches or other poker-related pages, forums, advertisements, taking into consideration how old the domain is?

I like your poker room and I like these daily freerolls very much because lately there is a lack of freerolls in poker rooms where I am able to play.

This is always nice to play a cash game and a freeroll on the second table  Wink.

Widocznie ważniejsze od zysków z prowizji jest niepomaganie swoim konkurentom. Może by to miało większy sens gdyby giełdy miały podobną wielkość i wzajemnie konkurencyjne tokeny giełdowy giełdy listowały.
