I wanted to know can altcoin trading provide consistent and regular income ??
it's not different than forex or other market, but it's more remunerative if you do it with altcoin, because altcoin can increase 1000x without thinking, but i think that miner is better less stress and less risk, and with many rig you can have a full time job by doing nothing lol |

not a single chance for me, my cold storage need to be retrieved and i need to sync the whole chain again and this with bitcoin cash too, i think it was wise to send everything on exchange before the fork but i missed that, now i'm willing to wait for the next pump before dumping

USB sticks are quite fragile, you risk losing your coins.
I prefer printing private key on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place (more than one to be sure).
Search for "paper wallet".
they are not very fragile, and you can have more than one to be sure, paper wallet are more fragile imho, it can get cut or burn easily, and i don't trust any printer at the moment, usb are more secure for me and easy to back up your wallet |

Suppose i had 50 btc in my electrum wallet during the fork. I want to claim my bch (bitcoin cash) so i save my seed and private keys from my electrum wallet and then move all my funds to block.io wallet. Then i delete electrum from my pc and install electrun cash. Then i claim my bch from electrun cash wallet using the private keys of the empty electrum wallet. Is there still a risk that i can lose my btc or bch?
no if you move and wait enough confirmations there is no risk of replay attack, but just be sure to be connected with a bitcoin cash node and not bitcoin, otherwise you won't get anything out of your private key |

they opened the deposit now on various exchange? because i see that the price is dumped to the initial value, it was overpumped because no deposit were allowed, is this coin going to die or will recover?

What are the actual issues with this coin?
Is there database/wallet corruption? Does it fork constantly?
There's no issue with the coin. Everyone works fine. The only issue is that sweepstake might have an issue that caused fork earlier. Since I disabled it, it has no other problem. I am just too busy and don't have time to support it constantly. i think you should really add a slot machine or something iin the client, to give investors a reason to buy this and use the coin to play, i think will give the coin a fresh new life |

yeah it's over valued now, but i don't think it will die or something like many believe, it's also possible that this fork can be good in the future with another pump to 0.3, just look at eth classic, same thing

What is the best procedure to obtain bitcoin cash, I would really apprecciate some suggestions, as I am very worried to screw it up  Can I just install another wallet and transfer it to it, so I have on one wallet bitcoin core and on the other wallet bitcoin cash ? Thanks ! first of all you need to have a wallet that hold bitcoin before the fork and all the way up to the fork, otherwise it's not possible, you get an empty wallet if you import to bitcoin cash, then you just do, dumpprivatekey and import to bitcoin cash with importprivatekey command |

it still offer a different solution to scaling, which is mandatory, for your information without the possibility to scaling, bitcoin will never be adopted globally, all the transaction will be stuck forever with very expensive fee, now segwit will be activated, and meanwhile we have already a solution on another fork called bitcoin cash, i think it will be accepted by merchants in the enar features

what you said could be true before the fork, because people would buy bitcoin to have free bicoin cash, but now i can't see this happen anymore, they can buy directly bitcoin cash using USD now, so bitcoin is not even needed to buy bitcoin cash, but if you talk as a hype maybe yes |

talked to a guy who bought 25 antminers and lost all in 6 months. He said he did calculation and analysis when decided to do this, but all his calculation is purely theoretical. But it is nearly impossible to reach an ideal state in reality. Plus, as mining difficulty increases as time progresses, it takes about 2 months for a miner to be outdated. So he suggests just buy bitcoin and give up mining. He even mentioned that btc price on exchanges is manipulated as a way to stimulate the sale of miners...
it's profitable because now the diff is lower, because of the miners switching to bitcoin cash, so the profit is a higher on the main chain, or mine bitcoin cash which is also very profitable |

electrum-wallet.com is clearly not the right side, just see the chrome identity it tell to em that is not secure, electrum.org is the correct one, you should avoid not secure website, and run them only on a virtual machine first

the fork has been done so bitcoin cash already created from that fork that is an altcoin, not a fork, the fork didn't happen theymos said so in his thread, bitcoin cash is an attempt to do a fork but they created an altcoin, but i don't know why they both share the same private key |

there is an explanation for this, basically no deposit are allowed, so the value can't be dumped by bitcoin holders, this explain why the value is increasing so much and don't hold your hope too much there will be a dump soon |
