1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Won’t Go Down Quietly: Risk of Bounce Grows on: October 22, 2022, 09:54:14 AM
Ethereum is now deflationary I suggest you should do your own research, do you know how many ETH are been burned already thanks to good project like XEN? I believe Ethereum can easily surge up to 10k per coin in a few more years, this project is not the same old Ethereum we all know.

because people just stare at the ETH price after the merge and they get frustrated when it doesn't rise as they expected but they forget this. this is something most people don't see, the merge has significant implications and has a strong impact on ETH. it is deflation very well and this will have a huge impact on the development of ETH and its price in the future. take a look at how Binance pushed the price of BNB to an all-time high thanks to a constantly burning supply, people will continue to regret it if they don't buy it now
1642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alters for Next Bull Market on: October 22, 2022, 09:45:09 AM
since all of investors, traders focus and believe in bitcoins. that's the all the truth we all know. but we can miss the jems which could give high potential to gain more return than BTC because of that. i was thinking about what coins could be the next 50x - 100x gains. i think we should mainly focus on top 300 with higher market caps with lower price and supply. I believe that, we can simply gain more from them and then re invest on BTC which is the trustiest.

there is nothing wrong with what you are thinking, but the challenge we are going to face here is that out of those 300 projects, you can be sure that you will find one that will bring you to profit x50 or x100, how much winning percentage do you get? everyone knows that investing in altcoins, especially new ones has the opportunity to yield great returns, but finding it is like finding a needle in a haystack. this is both time consuming and when you find it, you may not have enough money left to invest in it. out of those 300 projects, 299 are scams and only 1 is profitable
1643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: October 21, 2022, 08:43:43 AM
yes that's why shitcoin is always considered prima donna, people have to leave it because holding bitcoin is the most promising investment compared to shitcoin, people are too eager to get rich quick on the contrary become poor faster because they buy shitcoin, hoping they can learn from LUNA that this is a promising project doesn't always have a low CMC rank even the top 10 in CMC can be shitcoin, better go take old bitcoins and altcoins because it's better

If you want to take Bitcoin as an investment in the long term, I think it is the right thing as an option. But when it comes to choosing old altcoins as an additional option other than Bitcoin, I think everyone also needs to research again at this time because there are also many altcoins that have not been able to get good price movements for a long time or in other words have begun to lose interest in the market.

So it still needs more research even if only a little, because the choice of altcoins is a very risky choice if it is for the long term and I exclude this if someone chooses it (old altcoins) only for the short term.
Older altcoins are usually more likely to have many communities not only full of investors, many communities will help introduce those old altcoins to new people obviously that is more interesting than altcoin projects full of investors who only focus on profits and losses, when entering a bear market they are a lot dumping their altcoins even away from the ATH price, people need to research whatever crypto they want to invest in as the market hasn't really recovered at the moment

i want to remind you that Luna is not only a potential coin in 2021 but also an old coin developed since 2018, it is an old altcoin. in addition to Eth, investing in altcoin, i think their risks are almost the same, because even the top currency has a large community like Luna and the top capitalization can collapse, so anything can happen to altcoin.

meanwhile, new altcoins are not really bad, you will hear about the recent project Aptos. it is attracting attention in the market after the Mainnet was successful, listed on a series of top exchanges and it is helping many people make big profits from it
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really inevitable? on: October 21, 2022, 08:25:00 AM
The only way for governments to regulate cryptocurrencies is to take control of centralized exchange so that they know who is buying and who is selling. Apart from this, there is no way to regulate them. If someone doesn't use a centralized exchange and buys Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency from a P2P exchange and transfers it to his personal wallet, then no one will know who it is. Even, your governments won't be able to trace your identity.

that is exactly what i am interested in, apart from regulating us, when we're not using centralized exchange, how will the government regulate us if we're not using centralized exchange? i think the government is also aware of this and don't know how they will deal with us in case people just use p2p or DEX trading. if they blacklist p2p and DEX trading, it'll be trouble for us. i know regulations are inevitable but i hope they won't be too harsh on us
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 21, 2022, 08:02:55 AM
What do you think about it? I read this article in the Market Times https://markettimes.co.uk/cryptocurrencies/would-bitcoin-survive-a-nuclear-war/ and in my opinion I don't see a future 'cause to have access to the bitcoin you need internet
The Internet was designed with the idea of surviving a nuclear war, but bitcoin needs more than the Internet in order to survive so this is something difficult to know.

However a more important question is if human civilization could survive a nuclear war? Or even if humans as a species could survive a nuclear war? As not only people will have to survive the nuclear blasts but then they will have to deal with radiation, cold and lack of food, energy and medicines, which is an environment very few of us could endure.

exactly, let us wonder if we can exist when the nuclear war occurs, do not rush to care about bitcoin or other assets. bitcoin only appears in the world 13 years and before there is no bitcoin, we still have a normal life but if the world is ruined by the nuclear war, we will no longer exist. i have never dared to think about the nuclear war script that will broke out because it is an end to the modern world today, it takes people for centuries to build

We have no democracy in any country mostly controlled by Agencies and mafias and few which are powerful using their power and influence for having soft image as media is also controlled by them, and they can do anything with this all. For me this 24 seconds video is best to give them a good lesson which are saying USA and India are the best democracies in world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIo6CcIfI6Y

Democracy is almost nonexistent in a lot of countries right now which are basically the sponsors of democracy. Obviously, the countries are run by either big-time mafias or big-time businessmen. They are only interested in money, nothing more, and they don't care about anything else. It is also obvious that the media is also controlled by them in a similar way. As a result, people generally have no bad impressions and no negative ideas about them. Or even worse people actually don't have any idea about them. All the politicians are very corrupt. They only care about money. That is a big reason why most countries are facing big problems.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 21, 2022, 04:46:03 AM
It must be said that Tsitsipas has played a really good game in this match. His performance was simply better than that of his opponent. In almost every aspect of the game, he outplayed his opponent. I think it was expected to some extent by a lot of people.

However, at the same time, the match was quite close as well. He had a tough fight against his opponent Cressy.

Now it will be interesting to see who Tsitsipas is going to face next in this tournament. He is quite a big favorite in this Stockholm open.

I checked on who is Tsitsi potential opponent is and it's a tough one,

it's either defending champion Tommy Paul or home favourite Mikael Ymer.

Nevertheless I also see another tough match for Tsitsi for either of this player and I do agree that this match might be extended to a full 3 sets as both Paul and Ymer is tough, and so this is a close one for Tsitsi, but I wlll not be surprised that he will go to the semifinals of this tournament.

Tsitsipas has set a high level of expectation for himself by playing well so far and especially after winning the last match. In the last match at times, it feels like he might fall short. But he eventually won the match. After that type of performance, it is quite easy to have some high expectations from him.

He is going to play against Ymer, and I also agree that he should not face too many difficulties in that match. Even if he does I think you will be able to overcome those difficulties as he did against Cressy.

PS: I agree with @KennyR that Tsitsipas should be the winner in his next match as well.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: October 21, 2022, 04:30:00 AM
Yeah despite that big dominance Arsenal found the winning goal quite late. But they got three points which is the most important point for them now. Maybe they haven't guaranteed the lead mathematically yet but it will also happen for certain. PSV are still no match for Arsenal which we saw it clearly today. Of course the match in Netherlands might be different than this but it depends on how much Arsenal will care about it also.

Arsenal had their usual starting eleven players more than the previous Europa League matches time which helped them be more effective. They will actually be in the Champions League as long as they keep up the good work in the Premier League. But they don't seem like they won't care about the Europa League title on one hand. We will have new teams coming from the Champions League also but for now Arsenal have no match for themselves among the current teams.

Arsenal dominated the match and an outcome like this was quite expected. However, PSV's goalkeeper did well in this match, as he denied Arsenal quite a few times. Arsenal had a lot more chances to get ahead by a more significant difference in this match. Arsenal will be happy that they won this match.

With the way Arsenal is playing, I am quite sure that they will win the Europa League. It feels like this time Arsenal has a legitimate chance of winning the Premier League title, so I am more interested in the English Premier League results. That is, unless they make last-day mistakes again this season.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 20, 2022, 07:40:40 PM
I agree with these all points but still we have to accept this thing right now BCCI is most powerful and richest board in the cricketing world but still one tag is also going with this which is surely not good as its also one of the most shit place as well because you have to do things for having support from politicians, and then you have to manage things which are not favourable to your enemy country because if you are not going to do things like these then surely you are not favourable person, and surely you could be down and out without any solid reason quickly.
Even mostly saying India is one of the biggest democracy but still not near this tag because they have many things which are not favourable for them, but they have to do because they never want to give any positive clue to others which is surely not good for this all hopefully we will have better and fair things in near future and this could be in better shape which is important for the development of this game and having more profitable for all cricketing fans around the India and world which is expecting good positive role from them.

I doubt India has true democracy. If India had democracy the Indian people wouldn't be so afraid of talking about anything dislikable about the government. Based on media reports, it seems, if anyone even shares a meme about Modi, he is liable to be in big trouble very soon. That is not true democracy. And it is quite hard to be the president of the cricket board of such a country where there is no democracy to be honest and where people are also crazy about cricket. Because if you make even the simplest of mistakes you might be punished severely and also hated by the fans.

Another thing is even if a person does very well as the president of BCCI if he has any problems with any politicians they are determined to make sure that he is hated by the people through the media.

Nice win by Tsitsipas tonight in Stockholm against Maxime Cressy.
Even with nice odds on the first set since the Greek was quoted up to @1.90 ( I was able to take a nice/comfortable @1.60).
Tsitsipas must be followed into this tournament. He is the first player of the seed, and he is playing at high level.
For sure he deserve some attention...
There is also a new entry into this tournament, the Czech player Jiri Lehecka. He has won against Dimitrov with some nice shot.
He is only 20 yo.
Tsitsipas has an amazing chance to win this tournament and finally win a trophy he is playing good and he has a good draw. Lehecka pulled a really big win against Dimitrov and Dimitrov had the win in the bag but just didnt focus enough in the tie break and went from 5-2 lead to 5-7 in the tie break
I totally missed this one, I'm a big Tsitsipas fans but lately his game is going down. And so it's good to hear to win. He is the top seed in this tournament so hopefully he can live up to the billing.
The Tsitsipas match though is very close against Cressy, it was two tie break set. So hopefully whoever he plays next in the quarter finals tomorrow, it will be a good match or possibly 3 setter as I will bet on the Over.

1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: October 20, 2022, 02:16:34 PM
Solana have already made itself one among the strong project in the market securing top position. Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko have come forward about the ethereum killer narrative. Solana is not actually trying to kill Ethereum. The creators of Solana try to develop it in direct competence and not in the event of killing ethereum. As ethereum is the market leader, Solana make comparisons their level with that of ethereum which keeps them progressive.

Solana Founder Says It Is Not An ‘Ethereum Killer’

lke it or not, solana will never be strong enough to kill ethereum, Solana Anatoly Yakovenko, he should remember that they cannot kill ethereum or replace it. with a potential blockchain that has crashed 9 times this year and they have almost not found an effective solution to prevent it and i believe it will continue to happen in the future. solana is leading the race where blockchain crashes the most. Grin Grin

have you heard about Aptos, layer1 project is taking the market by storm these days, i believe it will be future solana replacement with similarities as well as aptos development team coming from solana
1652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: October 20, 2022, 02:00:36 PM
Looking at Bitcoin's chart at the moment, it looks like the market shows downtrend. An analysis shows that Bitcoin experienced a major price drop during this period of 2018. Moreover, the Ukraine-Russia war is expanding. It doesn't seem to be any possibility to get green signal. Rather, if a nuclear war breaks out, Bitcoin is sure to take a massive dump. The overall situation is not good as inflation is also increasing at a high rate.

bitcoin and the market have been in a downtrend for almost a year now, which is not a recent occurrence. yes, with the current economic situation as well as the increasingly fierce war, it is very difficult to increase prices. i think only when the war ends and the world economy recovers will we be able to see the market's favorite green again. do not expect nuclear war to happen, there will be no more dumping, instead it will be the end of humanity, and we will return to the primitive times
1653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may drop to $15k or so but it'll definitely hit $300k+ in coming years on: October 20, 2022, 01:37:25 PM
Is $300k too high a target for the next bull season? The reality is that everyone is just trying to talk about the $100k goal before we hit the higher one, the fact that bitcoin is going to rise again is certain, but when exactly it will happen we do not know. With inflation still at its current high, I think bitcoin will fall further and $15k is possible but it will happen next year when the Fed raises interest rates to the highest they have planned.
Even $100k might still be hard to achieve by next year as we should target first $60k-$70k bitcoin price, hopefully bitcoin halving will make it possible. However, bitcoin to reach $300k, maybe let’s wait for 5-10 years before it will eventually happen. For now, let’s just hope that the bear market will turn into bullish so that bitcoin and altcoins will have chances to move forward and break another ATH.

we should not aim too high because if we don't achieve it, we will be disappointed. what is more important is that we need to overcome the old ATH before we want to think of a higher ATH and hopes of a bull run next year are highly unlikely, it makes more sense to place this hope in a halving. equally important is that we should take advantage of this moment to earn as much bitcoin as we can, the current price in my opinion is already very cheap and a good price to start entry
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 20, 2022, 02:12:51 AM
I really don't feel that the Big 3 project is going to be revived if the Big 3 does not have unity among themselves. And I also believe that not having the Big 3 model at all is going to be beneficial for cricket in the long run. The problem is even though we are thinking that the Big 3 is not coordinated they might still come together just to have this model revived. But I think that ICC alone should have the authority over cricket. If ICC cannot be the lone authority over all the cricket boards then we shouldn't have ICC in the first place.
Actually, I don't think that the Big 3 is going to get revived. However, if the cricket boards and ICC have some understanding between themselves it is going to be a lot more hazardous for cricket.
As of now, ICC is surely one of the biggest joke around the sports world because of their poor management and weak policies which are creating problems for them and no one going to solve this even for the personal interest they are creating more problems here now time for having a big discussion are they serious for this game's development, or they are just going to for their own interests which are surely going to be the dark future of this game BCCI's greediness is going on their high for more stake from media rights even they are the biggest market in the world now it's time for having big heart and allow things could be fair and for the better development of this game they need to scarify few points which will surely increase funds for associate countries which will bring better results.
Here are now all boards surely need to sit and talk about this all as it's right time and for me if India is going to be fit in these policies then surely we can expect big issues in this sports organization and this game could be bigger loser in this all issue.

The thing is that ICC has become money-hungry. In fact, the whole cricketing world has become addicted to money flow. And I just hope that the Big 3 doesn't get revived because if that happens, the future of cricket will be compromised. Cricket is already in a tough spot right now. I think that the associate nations are not getting enough attention from ICC and that is not a very optimistic sign for the expansion of cricket. However, I'm also fearful that, if the big 3 countries try to gain the advantages they had before, they will somehow get back together and resurrect the association again- this is what I'm most worried about now.
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard of Bosagora? on: October 19, 2022, 01:29:38 PM

i have never heard of this project, this is my first time seeing it, the brief examination of the project seems very well organized and well prepared. if you are really interested, you should learn carefully and follow closely to capture the information. i also just checked its price, the highest ATH was $0.50 and now BOA is trading at 0.04, meaning more than 10 times down from the peak, this is a good entry price to hold. you know the project better than we do, i think the decision is up to you, we can't give you better advice
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is due for a big break on: October 19, 2022, 01:06:57 PM
It's been undervalued and passed over by many pump and dumps over the years. It's a solid alt coin to use alongside Bitcoin.

Accepted more places than any other crypto, Litecoin is one of the few altcoins that I actually use.

It's low fee, fast confirmations and 2nd oldest crypto. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

silver bitcoin, this is a good coin to use but if you hold them for profit it is probably not a smart choice. honestly, litecoin is also very good but sadly it doesn't have any noticeable hype, possibly due to the strong competition again of new altcoins. today's new altcoins in addition to more advanced technology can say their marketing is too good, their hype always attracts investors. it's hard to find any reason for LTC to explode in the future, they don't have any major updates or special changes to compete with new altcoins
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 17, 2022, 09:36:18 PM
I actually kind of knew that there was no way Barcelona was able to win this match against Real Madrid. Barcelona is just not good enough. Obviously, the 2-0 score was not looking encouraging at halftime. But Barcelona did score a goal toward the end of the match. Right when it looks like they might have a chance of coming back they conceded a penalty. Not an ideal match for Barcelona at all. Now Real Madrid has taken the advantage of points and become the team in the first position on the table. Barcelona has already done very badly in the Champions League. They will have to somehow find a way to climb back up to the first position in La Liga.
Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti are more experienced than Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez. They know how to punish opponent and how to finalize the match. With Barcelona, this defeat does not mean they already awarded the trophy to Real Madrid. They still have lot of matches in future to beat Real Madrid in a long competition. Especially what club is affected by the World Cup will probably have worse performance in later half of season.
As I said in previous posts, it was slightly more likely than Madrid winning, although in football you can never know. But I also said that I think Madrid are more likely to win this league because of the less pressure they have had since the start, which is increasing pressure on Barcelona. The Real Madrid fans mocked the coach yesterday by chanting 'Xavi quedate', in an ironic way, as they wanted to say that Xavi is a bad coach for Barcelona, that is good for Madrid, and that it is preferable for him to stay than to be sacked.
After the poor results in Europe and yesterday's result, not only the pressure is mounting not only on Barcelona, but on Xavi himself. I think he has his job for the moment, but if Barcelona are finally eliminated from the Champions League and have any more slip-ups in La Liga, Laporta will start to question whether to keep him.

@hd49728, Obviously, experience played an important part in El Clasico. That is a big reason for Real Madrid to get the penalty at the final moment of the match. This was a very important match for both teams. Right now I think it will be hard for Barcelona to get past Real Madrid on the table.

@Don Pedro Dinero, I don't think they are going to think about replacing Xavi, for a long time Barcelona was not doing good at all even though they had really good players. But Xavi is doing very well even though he does not have the type of player that Barcelona had before. So, I don't think right now they are going to think about replacing the coach at all.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 17, 2022, 09:05:26 PM
Well, in South Asia, it is impossible to get someone elected to the cricket administrative body without political backing. And this has been the case for the past many decades. The last president of BCCI who had no political affiliation was perhaps Jagmohan Dalmiya. He was also a businessman, but he kept out of politics. The scenario changed when BCCI (and later the ICC) was taken over by the Srinivasan-Pawar mafia. Now there are no such neutral individuals available for BCCI posts. Even Ganguly is considered to be very close to the ruling party, although he has refused to join them formally.
He is obviously not intending to join them formally when he is the President of BCCI. Because that is obviously enough to make people unsure about his credibility right? And even though he did not join politics directly I think he has close connections to a lot of politicians.
In addition, I also agree that you simply cannot find any candidate for the post of BCCI President who is politically neutral right now. It is very difficult to find people who are suitable for this job. So, I think if a person is politically influenced or not is the least of the worries for the BCCI. And anyone who is in line to be the President of BCCI right now is most likely to think about money first of all.
What have done to the other posts in the cricket board that is not much attract the attention. But the Indian Cricket Board President's position is the most desirable. So here a person must be qualified from both sides one is his own qualification and the other is his political relation. However, even though Competence is often underestimated. if the political aspect is not strong for one then the position does not belongs to him.

I think you made a great point here @|MINER|. We all know that in India political power is almost essential.
And if the BCCI President does not have enough political power he will not be able to work effectively.

Let me explain. I think if the BCCI President has the support of powerful politicians only then he will be able to work independently and not think about anyone telling him anything.
If that becomes a reality two things can happen:

  • The president is determined to work hard and try to improve the situation of Indian cricket.
  • The president will do anything that he wants because there is no one to say nothing to him. And that can be very problematic in the long run.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 17, 2022, 08:47:46 PM
To tell the truth, I don't think that the Europa League is fitting one of the biggest teams in Europe like Barcelona. I'm pretty sure that @Daniel91 meant the same.
Because Barcelona have always been known as one of the strongest teams of the Champions League. They won the title five times so they have a great history here. Considering the quality level of Barcelona, the Europa League is dragging them down from that level. They were mocked for joining the Europa League last season and it will be the same for this one also. Some teams don't have the luxury of competing in lower tournaments like that and Barcelona are one of these numbered teams.

Rather than putting all their energy and focus into the EUL, the club should value their time and attention on the league more. Due to the fact that they have a good chance of winning it, even though RMA seems quite unstoppable this season and recently they smashed FCB 3-1 in their last match.

The point I'm trying to make is that EUL won't bring any glory to FCB as their standards are much higher. So, in my opinion, they should not spend their time focusing on two different places at the same time, but they should focus entirely on the league at the moment.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 17, 2022, 08:06:20 PM
The fight that I have been waiting for there is a lot of notable pieces for this UFC 280, for every fighter, and for Charles Oliveira, it is to regain the belt he never lost in the cage, While Islam Makachev, look to prove his dominance even with the champion, while Aljamain Sterling is stopping T.J. Dillashaw from being champion again, while the other fighters are fighting to get a title shot, there is a lot to unpack on this event and I think he all need to see it, and for me both Oliveira and Makhachev I really like both of them, but for this fight, there is just one that I need to pick, and that is non-other than the man who will prove his dominance inside the octagon, just like what his friend Khabib Nurmagomedov did, and for Aljamain Sterling I think to prove that he is not a fluke, well, certainly I will drop pick when the time comes,

It would be fair to say that Islam Makhachev has a better ground game. People are saying that Charles Olivia has a better game than Islam when it comes to the ground game. The only problem I see with Charles Olivia's career is that he has just tapped too many times into submissions during his career. There have probably been at least 8 times in his career that he has tapped into submissions. There is no way that a fighter who has tapped so many times can be any good at the ground game. It seems that Makhachev is going to have the upper hand in the ground game, according to my prediction. But when it comes to striking, both fighters are going to have no advantage over one another.
