1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 28, 2022, 07:58:37 PM
Sorry in advance, I want to convey as well as remind.

it's important to them, "whoever is going to visit in person to watch the world cup in Qatar" if, they don't want things like many other members say. then, they don't have to come to visit Qatar even on this visit, to watch the world cup.
if someone does not want to be limited by what he likes, for example, drinking alcohol, free sex, same-sex partners, or all kinds of things that are forbidden and prohibited there.

someone, do not have to force to visit there. that way, their rights will not be taken away as a free society. and, Qatar's rights as organizers will not be tarnished by the sharia beliefs that they have believed in for generations.

I think it's very simple. if the visitors feel constrained by all the rules that are not fun for them. then, there is no need to see it in person. in fact, we can see it on television. I think this is a sporting issue, about football, not something about politics, alcohol, sex and so on.

I totally agree with you.

Different regions in the world have different beliefs and cultures.

You cannot go to them and violate their beliefs and do the opposite of their culture.

If you feel contained if you go to watch the WC, if you feel like are not given enough freedom do to whatever you do in your region, just don't go man; it's as simple as that.

And if you think watching the game is more important, you have to go, you must obey their beliefs in their region and obey their rules.
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 28, 2022, 07:46:39 PM
Manchester City lost 7 points out of 33 possible and this is the usual champion pace where the team scores 90 points at the end of the championship and becomes the champion. The only difference is that Arsenal have an even better win rate, so they are still ahead of Manchester City, which looks unusual. And this year, Liverpool unpleasantly surprised all their fans by failing the first third of the championship and apparently already dropping out of the race for the title.
I'm also concerned with the results of the season. I think it's Man City and Liverpool who are going to compete hard. That's because Liverpool have the same good shopping as Man City. But my prediction was wrong, Mane's departure and Nunez's arrival have not made Liverpool good. At first I didn't think Arsenal would be strong enough. They don't buy many expensive players but they are very effective. But remember the competition is still long, Arsenal will have a lot of tests. If they are strong they should be able to win this year.

Liverpool hugely underperformed this season. Better performance was expected from Liverpool and I also predicted that Manchester City and Liverpool are going to be the two teams to challenge for the English Premier League this season. But right now it is Arsenal and Manchester City with Arsenal being the first team on the table.

This is obviously not good news for Liverpool. Nunez came to Liverpool with big expectations but the reality was different. Actually, I am not going to be surprised if Arsenal actually wins the English Premier League title this season
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 28, 2022, 07:37:54 PM
It is not that difficult as long as he does not want to be in other "BIG" team. If he want to join a team that is playing in UCL, he can simply join a team which is not that popular but usually qualified for UCL such as Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Celtic, Zagreb, or any other team from non popular Leagues. I think coming back home to Sporting can be the best choice for him, a team where he started his professional career and where Sir Alex found him then brought him to Manchester.
Ronaldo still in top level and I think easy for him reach agreement with next team participants at Champion League, actually Napoli have close rumor want to sign in Ronaldo but they won't to pay transfer values if deal at January because Ronaldo contract over until June 2023 with Manchester United. I don't think Ronaldo will coming back to Sporting Lisbon because early and he has bigger ambition keep playing with top European team, exactly he wants to play at Serie A, Primer League or La Liga team.
I think too early if Ronaldo coming back to first professional team Sporting Lisbon although have chance keep playing at Champion League on every season, seems Sporting Lisbon doesn't have enough money to pay most expensive salary received by Ronaldo.
Napoli has denied the rumoured signing of Ronaldo in January transfer window, personally I believe Napoli is doing excellently well in Seria A and UCL thus the team is balance with in-form Osimen firing in all cylinders for their team, I don't think it is reasonable to bench Osimen for aging Ronaldo if truly Napoli signed him, the best bet for Ronaldo is to move MLS in USA or move to Chinese league where he would be guaranteed a regular playing time else he won't enjoy a regular playing time in Man Utd with likes of Rashford, Sancho and Anthony starting matches ahead means Erik Ten Hag prefers those players as the first team.

Napoli does not seem to be interested in Cristiano Ronaldo. Let me rephrase, they are not interested in bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo at such a high wage. As I said Cristiano Ronaldo will have to take a cut in pay if he wants to get at least a decent team. Right now it actually feels like he will have to take a pay cut if he even wants to move to even another mid-tier team.

Most teams are not interested in him. First of all, he is old and secondly his salary is a problem for a lot of teams. To be honest, if he does not find a suitable team, it would be really sad to say goodbye to a great player like this. The future of Cristiano Ronaldo is still uncertain.

Chelsea was reportedly interested, but has now denied any interest in Cristiano Ronaldo. Napoli is also the same right now.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 28, 2022, 07:02:06 PM
Both Bremen and Hertha Berlin have fragile defenses so opponents can easily penetrate their defenses. What's great about Bremen at the moment is that their attacking line is working better than Hertha Berlin. It is very difficult to predict the outcome of this match because both teams have the same strength. However, I prefer the hosts to get 3 points from the visitors Hertha Berlin.
Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin right now both teams are doing average performance as both teams in safe zone and have time for improving this all with most chances Werder Bremen could be better side with strong attack even defense is issue for both side, and they are frequently having a good number of goals against them which is bigger concern for them, and they have to settle this for more positive results in Bundesliga.

No doubt a difficult job to predict about outcome of this match with most chances home team can steal the show because they are doing better instead of visitors but still as we have many unusual results in soccer we can expect an upset in this game because who know how performance will be coming for any team.

Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin are not going to be the teams that finish toward the top. They are going to be towards the bottom-mid of the table. I really do not expect anything different from them at this moment. And it will take time for these two teams to get better. I think the main target of these two teams right now should be not to get relegated. If they can avoid relegation I think eventually they will be able to improve the squad and have better performances in the future. Last season it was really challenging for Werder Bremen. They almost got relegated. Hope they will be able to stay away from that zone.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bull started? on: October 27, 2022, 08:17:37 AM
Just of yesterday I have seen a strong move of the ethereum gaining about 10 percent from the previous price and I was triggered to know if the bull about to kick off.
What do you smells from it?
Just a normal pump that we see in the market, there's nothing special from it and that usually gets into Ethereum when bitcoin pumps. Just as Eth, the whole market goes on a pump thanks to bitcoin.
I smell more of the next scene of it which is likely the correction of it every time we see a pump like this for both ethereum and bitcoin. So, that's how it will usually go so, don't expect a lot.

yes, not only ethereum is bullish but the whole market is in the green and bitcoin is always the starter for everything. but i suspect this is a sign of bulls, it is just a slight rally during the bear season that we usually see. the world economy is still very unstable so no bulls will come, be careful from now on as there will most likely be dumping right after the rally. the market always knows how to let us down when we have high hopes so don't expect too much.
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prime Minister of UK - A crypto believer on: October 27, 2022, 07:56:03 AM
I am not completely informed on how UK political positions work, I know that the prime Minister is an important charge, but in order for a wider Bitcoin adoption to happen in the United Kingdom  would it not be necessary support of the chamber of commons and the chamber of lores?

For example, there are countries which the power is very centralized in an individual but as far as I know the UK is not one of them.

Regardless of these details, if this new Prime Minister is as crypto positive as implied then it could be a good chance for Bitcoin to get rid of the stigma in that country and find a welcoming place in such economy, it would be an excellent situation if more doors ended up being open to decentralized assets, there is a lot of money and liquidity in the UK.

the new Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi, when he was still finance minister, he openly supported cryptocurrencies and always wanted the UK to become the center of the world crypto industry. it's great to be prime minister, he has accelerated it so quickly. for the bill to pass, it needs to be passed by parliament and the final ratifier is King Charles III.

this news will open the door to the development and mass adoption of cryptocurrencies but will be regulations enacted for bitcoin. i don't think bitcoin will benefit in this case and the UK is also said to be developing its own CBCD.
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Early Is It Now, For Those Who Missed Bitcoin In Its Early Days? on: October 27, 2022, 07:41:17 AM
Do you know that since the invention of Bitcoin in 2009, the cryptocurrency space has produced more billionaires and millionaires than any other financial space/industry in the world ?

Not literally I know them because they are anonymous but for sure there are a lot of early investors who make hold their Bitcoin for many years and become millionaires. But I think, they are already rich before risking their money in this new stuff which is not their worry to lose their money investing in Bitcoin earlier. I'm not sure if they foresee the future of Bitcoin but I see their trust and feeling towards the crypto market is strong to have that decision.

They deserve such huge achievement and market profit, and I remember these words " rich people become richer while poor people become poorer". They take this opportunity while others are rejected it.

i don't know if rich people invest in bitcoin, but i met a man who got rich on bitcoin and he was once an ordinary person. hhe's not rich but he probably chose to take the risk at the time to buy bitcoin, and now he deserves what he chose. a lot of people have become rich thanks to cryptocurrencies and not only with bitcoin, many people have also become rich by investing in altcoins. for me crypto is an opportunity for everyone who knows how to take advantage of it, bitcoin or altcoin is up to each person's preference as long as they know the risks when investing.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: October 26, 2022, 10:56:53 PM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?

these 3 coins are no longer profitable, i will not choose any of them. my opinion at this point we should focus on bitcoin and the top coins would be better as they are likely to recover after the bear market is over. as for trends like p2e, gamefi, metaverse... it's still unclear what their future will be and it is likely that they will be replaced by new trends in the market. now let's focus on layer 1 and layer 2 projects, they have more potential for growth.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a mistake shorting BTC at 17k on: October 26, 2022, 10:32:40 PM
I think is high time you stop listening to people that keep on saying bitcoin will dump to $13k and below. I don't really know the amount you bought your bitcoin in 2020, but you are kind of funny, bitcon wetin to $60k+ but you didn't sell, you decided to sell when it was in $18k which is kind of funny. Even if people keep on predicting that bitcoin will dump to $13k why can't you just continue holding it, you have been holding bitcoin for almost 2 years, even when bitcoin pumped you didn't sell, then you decided to sell when bitcoin is already down, I don't really know to tell you, but it's better you listen to what people have been advising you to do, just buy back and stop listening to people that keep on predicting that bitcoin will dump more. If anybody should worry, it shouldn't be you that have been holding bitcoin for 2 years.

when bitcoin hits ATH above 60k most people are profitable but many people still hear experts predict 100k ATH so many people didn't sell and wait. but in the end, instead of being able to make a profit, they become reluctant holders and when bitcoin drops below 20k they will probably start panicking thinking bitcoin is dying or keep hearing experts predict bitcoin to $13k. they want to sell them for 18k-20k then buy them back for 13k, unfortunately things don't go as they expected.

everyone makes mistakes from time to time, there is nothing to blame, this will be a lesson for OP and like you said OP still has a chance, just buy now and DCA if bitcoin continues to drop OP will get back previous losses soon
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2022, 09:30:23 PM
And finally, parity is approaching Bundesliga. Saw Freiburg drop at last week's hurdle, and today Union Berlin's turn. Still 1 point above the defending champions but I guess we'll be seeing Bayern right back up sitting above everyone before World Cup begins... right?
Hoping both Freiburg and Union do themselves justice in Europa this Thursday though as I got them both on last legs of an acca with all other legs already booked!
Nice bet! I hope Union Berlin will not repeat their unexpected failure yesterday when they were able to lose to the last team in the Bundesliga (only thanks to this victory, Bochum rose one line above Schalke).
Bayern again just one point away from first place, and if you look at the nearest "real" competitors, then the lead over Borussia is already 3 points.

However, what is actually surprising is that Union Berlin lost against Bochum, which is something that I was not expecting. In my opinion, that was one of the most unexpected things I ever encountered. It was clear that Union Berlin had been playing really well throughout this season and there was no doubt that Bayern Munich was going to have some tough competition when it came to winning the football championship. The problem is that now I am starting to doubt them, and I do not think I am the only one who has started to doubt them.

When you are up against a team that is in the relegation zone when you are in the race against Bayern Munich, there is no point in giving points away against a team that is in the relegation zone.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 24, 2022, 07:30:52 PM
Frank Lampard's Everton had to do something. It looks like they're going to end this bad run with a win at Crystal Palace. They're 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go.
Manchester city hosted brighton at home. They are now 3-1 ahead in the match and probably got 3 points with 3 goals. They will not make a mistake this week. 1 hour later chelsea-united will be perhaps the most enjoyable match of the day for the premier league.

The game between Everton and Crystal Palace ended with Everton winning by a big margin of three goals to none from Crystal Palace. As soon as Calvert Lewin scored the first goal of the game, Gordon scored the second goal in the 63rd minute and McNeil scored the third goal in the 84th minute.

As well as Manchester City also won their game with 3 goals, but conceded one in the process. The result of this game will probably make Pep very happy with the outcome Smiley. In the 75th minute, KDB scored a goal, and as you might have expected, Haaland scored two goals again lol, one of which comes from a penalty kick. Someone just stops this guy from scoring every game, please!
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2022, 07:00:17 PM
Dortmund were really impressive this week. Maybe their opponent wasn't a big team but Dortmund really needed a win like 5-0 to recover a little. They couldn't win for three weeks before this game. This pushed them to lower positions in the standings. But now they are only four points away from the leader. Union Berlin haven't played their game yet of course so we will see the final gap later.
Bayern Munich have started to play like in the past seasons finally after many weeks passed in the season. Doing this without a natural striker is a great job. I know that they have Choupo-Moting but I meant a striker like Lewandowski. I wonder if they will sign someone in January as well.
Bayern Munich has been performing well. They are winning games by a wide margin. They are improving the team day by day. When Lewandowski was at Bayern Munich, their team was much stronger. But after Lewandowski left the team, the team had some adverse effects. Although Bayern Munich have added Sadio Mane to the team, he will need some time to adapt to the team.
Sadio Mane is a great football player.  Coming to Germany from England, of course, may have caused the problem of adaptation.  He must be getting used to the Bundesliga as he has adapted to the Premier League.  We have to give it a chance.  Lewandowski is a player who has played in the Bundesliga for years, and his familiarity with the league in the goals he scored is also a factor.  Mane will make great contributions to Bayern Munich after overcoming the adaptation problem.

Velvet78, impressive a week doesn't mean anything.

I am not sure why I feel like Dortmund is the team which is winning against very weak opponents by a very large margin.
However, when they face a decent team they are not able to do anything about it.

Yes, they scored 5 goals against Stuttgart, which is in the relegation zone mind you, by the way, so it is no mystery to me that they won the match.
As a result, this should not come as a surprise to anyone.

Secondly, it has become quite clear to me that Dortmund will not be winning the German Bundesliga this year, which is quite unfortunate for them.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 24, 2022, 11:45:48 AM
This is a great way to earn some income if truly it is proven to give good incentive from some small task since there basically as a trial just like Airdrop and bounties.
But again since we already have a bad experience with bounties lately seeing a new trend that can reward users is a good alternative but then we should also analys the risk involved in such task you may end up not getting paid at all.

personally, i value testnet over bounty and airdrop, because participating in testnet you have to take the tasks seriously then you must give feedback to the project team so they can evaluate the quality of the project before releasing the final version. this job requires you to spend a lot of time experiencing the product and regularly interacting with the team of the team. it can be said that testnet brings both knowledge and profit to testers, it does not turn everyone into spammers everywhere.
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 24, 2022, 11:37:42 AM
This is the main problem right now and a lot of people are being scammed without even their noticing it. They just take the bait for promising words or thinking that the project will be gonna huge in the future and even though the developers are hiding their information or just creating fake profiles on LinkedIn.

Even if we spread the about the scam projects we cannot control the investor or new investors that will spend their money on scam projects since they are thinking of quick and high profited money which can be turned into their loss.

I would prefer to only trade the altcoins on a known exchange and take the opportunity of the bear market which that has more potential in the future,
It was a sad reality but some people scam you face to face without worrying about what will happen to them because what is in their mind is to make money by fooling investors. Their hungry for money makes them find a way to trick people by all means and succeed. I have no clue what else we can do because even though we spread awareness but still, a lot of people become a victim.
I guess, we have to accept that these scammers are a part of crypto journey and no way to rid them.

scam is everywhere not only in crypto and there is no way to get rid of it completely it comes from human greed so once we don't get rid of greed it will always be by our side. scammers are becoming public in the market and scammers don't need to hide their faces anymore, simply because they know that there are no regulations or laws to be enforced in this market, Luna is an example.

the only solution we have, i think is regulation, once regulated, these situations will lessen because scammers will face the law if reported but regulation will make us lose our privacy when participating in investment.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are privacy coins already dying on: October 24, 2022, 11:25:34 AM
I haven't heard any good news about privacy coins this days, it seems that people are losing interest in privacy coins because of regulation? Also privacy coins have bad performance compared to other altcoins, what is going on? Can privacy coins survive on the long run?
If we go back a few years ago, coins privacy is still alive and even now it still has the support of every community, maybe the interest of most people has decreased from now on. The development and the products they provide are too slow. So they can't compete with new projects that currently exist.

it's not because it's not growing and it's too slow but because people no longer care about privacy when participating in cryptocurrencies, people only focus on profit so they will only care and invest in coins that have can make a profit for them. new projects these days are mostly focused projects but in return they are hyped and people like it. at the same time, privacy coins are becoming the target of governments because of their anonymity, they are used by criminals to circumvent governments. investing in privacy coins is no longer profitable and very risky if the government enacts regulation
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 23, 2022, 07:52:41 PM
Roma - Napoli has just started and we have 4 minutes on the clock. Napoli may still be disappointed with yesterday, when title rival Inter Milan managed to win 3-4 in the last seconds of the match. But the margin at Inter is decent and frankly I don't think this game will cause much problems for Napoli, but AS Roma is a team that can beat anyone but they are not constantly busy enough. They did, of course, win the conference league last season. I did not expect Atalanta's defeat at home to Lazio at all. Perhaps that is also the reason that Atalanta has never become champion in recent years. When it really matters, they let it go.
I believe Napoli can still play their best game I mean they probably won't lose although not getting 3 points, but 1 point is also enough
BTW one of their competitors Atalanta was defeated by Lazio today so the opportunity for Milan to get closer to Napoli
Of course I prefer Milan to be the main competitor of Napoli than Atalanta because they were the champion last season.
Napoli currently have lot of quality in their team and they have been playing great football right now. Their team chemistry is also good and better than Roma. Roma on other hand kinda plays a bit on counter and are mostly in a composed formation. I would say Napoli has better chances of coming out as a winner today. Also I think both teams will score goals today in this match but seems a bit risky going on this one.

Roma Vs Napoli, neither team has scored so far in this match. It's almost halftime in this match. Both teams are playing well. I think it is just a matter of time before the deadlock gets broken.

You know, Napoli is the team that has been a little more attacking in this match. I feel like both teams have to win this match because if Napoli wins this match they will stay in the first position for longer and if Roma wins this match they are going to advance multiple spots on the table. I think Napoli will be a lot more determined to win this match though. Because a lot of people like above the post are saying that they are not consistent till the end of the season and they actually have thrown away good chances before. So, they will be determined to prove them wrong.
1637  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 23, 2022, 09:49:48 AM
many people predict that October is a good month for bitcoin but there is only 1 week left until the end of October and now it can be said that bitcoin has not had any good movement this month. i also hope this month we can see $23k before entering a darker November, since we will face a rate hike in November, it is unlikely to avoid a dumping, and a new bottom is likely in November. too many negative things will happen between now and the end of the year
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created on: October 23, 2022, 09:36:42 AM

4) The excitement to grow money 10-20 folds would have not existed ...

although it is a pretty crude fact, i can tell you this is what people care about bitcoin more than the rest. bitcoin can be said to be an asset class that offers unprecedented volatility and everyone who invests in bitcoin is interested in this, only in the crypto market do we have a chance to see 100x 1000x growth, which no other market can offer. bitcoin has brought wealth to a lot of people and today people continue to invest in bitcoin hoping to get rich with little capital, because with little capital you have almost no chance to change your position in the world out there
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: October 23, 2022, 09:21:37 AM
Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?

It would be shortsighted to not recognize that exchanges have accelerated the rate at which bitcoin was adopted and they have increased its popularity as an asset to hold and to trade all over the world.

But we cannot deny that centralized exchanges have also brought their fair share of issues, one of the most obvious ones is that now many people prefer to keep their coins at exchanges so they can trade and invest as soon as there is a big news, but this compromises significantly their privacy and the true ownership of their coins, two aspects which are incredibly important and which are disregarded by a great deal of traders now.

it's true, most people put their assets on the exchange, they see the exchange as a place to keep their assets so they can quickly use it whenever there is a signal for see them make a profit. here, we often advise each other not to put too much money on the exchange but I have seen many people put millions of dollars into it to trade futures and they even hang orders overnight, weekly. today's investors no longer care about privacy, what they care about is profit, and how to make as much money as possible
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Mining still worth it? on: October 22, 2022, 10:16:44 AM
I've recently gotten a graphic card for mining but i heard that currently mining is not worth it as all cryptos are currently in the downfall so its not worth mining. Can anybody give me an advice on it. Your insight is very much appreciated. Grin Grin

mining is not as simple as holding, it involves a lot of factors and you need to have a thorough calculation before mining. the drop in prices is not a big deal causing miners to close down, the reason is said that electricity price is a painful problem today. electricity prices are high and we are in bear season so mining now is almost not profitable but also losses but if you live in an area with cheap electricity then you can mine
it is also important which coins should be mined in order to make a profit because currently mining ETH is not possible, below is a list of coins you can mine except bitcoin you can see the rest
