2621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee is dead, are his coins lost? on: June 25, 2021, 02:40:09 AM

he tweeted his crypto fortune are all gone, it's not really for sure if it's true. he may have set aside some for his kids or his wife. a father would think that way when they know the authorities are about to get him, he probably had given some.

if not then it's lost. he probably has lots of BTC and ETH, he got about $23M for ICO promotion alone. I can still see some of those he promoted still alive.

2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: June 25, 2021, 01:57:59 AM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!

You need to look on the APR/APY of the stake the site has offered, plus the fact that when you begin to stake you need to lock up your eth in several days and during that day you can never use or withdraw your token while in the stake process, there are site that there is no lockup period anyday you can withdraw your coin, but always remember that there's always a risk in doing staking, because you can lend your coin onto them, make sure the site you are using is legit.

don't put all your trust in those centralized projects like that blockfi. it's not worth losing your coins than earning a few percentages a year. this is almost like storing your ETH to an exchange when you do that, no different to staking offering by the exchanges.

i think going for the projects that are intended for staking is your best option instead like DOT and ADA being the ranked tokens.

John McAfee, the creator of the eponymous antivirus protection software, was found dead in his Spanish prison cell after an announcement earlier Wednesday that he would be extradited to the U.S. to face charges of financial crimes, the Associated Press reported.

Although I don't like him and his passion of shilling shitcoins a lot but he somehow paved the way for celebrity involving cryptocurrency. RIP McAfee!

RIP to John, it's a sudden news we cannot deny that even he became a hype to so many shitcoin, he open the door of cryptocurrency to many well known personality even celebrity and part of that is John's legacy. I think he is in a deep situation and I don't believe it was suicide.

he once actually said he will not do what his father did in the past. His father commits suicide too. so given that he already said he won't be committing the same mistake, there's this theory again that it's almost like Epstein case too. i have no idea if there are big people involved in the scams he did in the past like politicians or so. if he will reveal those names because he will be extradited, i think those big names have reason to have him killed.

2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 24, 2021, 04:26:06 AM
At 32 years old Casimero does not have the most impressive career compared to a hall of famer like Donaire. This will be his opportunity to live up to his own hype. He's been very vocal about wanting to fight Inoue and now is his opportunity to earn that fight. The height and experience advantage of Donaire will be difficult to overcome. I haven't seen odds yet but I assume most people will bet on Donaire.

someone should avenge the fallen 2, Dasmarinas and Donaire against Inoue. Inoue had been knocking Filipino fighters already if Casimero fails against Inoue. i don't know who else among our kind can beat the monster. seen Casimero fight the towering Zolani Tete with a long reach advantage and Casimero managed to knock him.

If Donaire wins he will have the chance for a rematch against Inoue.
2625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If China is so bad for miners, why aren't they moving? on: June 24, 2021, 03:54:17 AM

probably because we just can't trust the news coming out on every news site. this china bitcoin ban had been used as fud several times and because it always works to drag the price down, its still does even after 2017. the recent bitcoin china ban was just the same news it's just revived. this time its mining that is targeted.

despite the news that miners are going to the US today. in the coming years, we still will see this news again.  it just means that we really give importance to China like it dictates the prices which even the western media are publishing the news on mainstream.
2626  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee Found Dead in Spanish Cell After Extradition Announcement on: June 24, 2021, 02:43:52 AM

bloomberg made it sound like it's very timely but the announcement of his extradition was actually more than a week ago before he took his life. he knew its coming.
how bad is American prison can be that he wanted to be in a Spanish cell that he'd rather kill himself you ask?  i think its about his $23M tax which i guess he blamed himself. hope he gave his coins to his son.
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 23, 2021, 01:29:20 PM
~all i can say is that Mayweather vs Logan must be a fixed fight as well which everyone won. Mayweather didn't get the loss record and also Logan but everyone got the money and most probably the Mafia as well in sports betting. It does sound like we can analyze how they all work base on what we could observe.
The Mafia might have had influence in the 1970 and 1980 to fix fights in the US but now it is impossible that the mafia could control anything by force, they might influence the judges by paying them well and usually these things will not come out in the public unless there is a serious heat to catch these manipulators.

I do not think Manny fight was fixed and nor does Mayweather and Logan Paul exhibition fight, these mafia takeover in sports is possible in Japan but not in the US.

lots of mobs during those times from rich jews, russians, italians, cubans, irish but the chinese i think still are still active. somehow from the business news i've read they own part of hollywood businesses. when there is money to make, mobs are somehow there in the background.

that farell guy must have only tried fixing in boxing sports. but he also mentioned in the interview about the horse race which he said theres also fixing in that sport.
2628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 23, 2021, 08:21:03 AM
^  I’m not entirely convinced with Gane yet and Volkov is a slight step up in competition but Volkov is the underdog at 2.50?  Looks good to me..  I think the line should be closer imho.  And sure the technical skill advantage goes to Gane but Volkov has the grit.

I know that I don't know much about Volkov and I haven't finish getting information about him, because I am also much busy with other things, and I only have my gut feeling in this match and I think that Cyril Gane could have a slight advantage over Volkov call me crazy but this is what I feel, and because I am still reviewing all fights of Volkov that is why I am saying this, and I am not yet on the fights that he has his peak potential and the Volkov that you all know,

But I still think Cyril Gane has a slight advantage over Alexander Volkov on agility, speed, and accuracy and good takedowns.

Gane can move a lot faster than Volkov and they're both heavyweight, the odd says it so 1.64 on stake. it's the experience that Volkov have if it does matter in the cage facing a more agile fighter that can submit and knock out an opponent.

the sound of the kick slap made me expect a knockout but it's by submission. not the usual end when heavyweight fighters fight. looks like he can do all.

2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 23, 2021, 04:15:12 AM
Why not Loma by a knock out?

I'm leaning towards Lomachenko rounds 7-9 @5.40. That is an attractive odds and it's possible that Vasyl an break down Nakatani in early rounds with accurate jabs and body shots. Nakatani usually bleeds early so that could also be a big factor for finishing him in rounds 7 to 9 in my opinion.

i'm also betting for Vasyl to win this fight. i wonder why he said he wanted to be in line with Masayoshi Nakatani according to him in his recent interview yesterday in this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sv6PyhF-qc Nakatani although have good records, the kind of opponents he faced aren't very strong unlike what Vasyl had overcome.  they both failed against Teofimo Lopez, which i guess is a necessary fight and something good to watch this weekend.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOLY GRAIL FOR EASY MONEY (LIVE PROOF) on: June 23, 2021, 03:42:07 AM

i like binary option, there use to be a great secondstrade but they're gone now. they are not considered a holy grail, however.

Hello all lovers of binary options,

Please check my thread daily to see my bot performance at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5344745.new#new

I shall be posting the performance on the thread everyday for the next 3 days.

Thank you all for visiting my thread and feel free to ask me any question because no investment question is stupid.

okay so not as stupid as i can think of this question but have you tried playing the binary option manually on Valuenetwork?  they do have an app here https://app.valuenetwork.live/ i think you may excel as well if you are good with such skill.

the BSC chain i think will have a cheaper transaction fee for this app.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 22, 2021, 03:23:35 AM
all i can say is that Mayweather vs Logan must be a fixed fight as well which everyone won. Mayweather didn't get the loss record and also Logan but everyone got the money and most probably the Mafia as well in sports betting.

That is different if we compare it to Pacquiao vs Bradley fight which is a title match. On that exhibition match between Mayweather and Logan Paul, there's no need for any Mafia's presence just to fixed and rigged that match. Both parties surely have an agreement prior to the fight.

should this be a big win if we pick DRAW for the exhibition fights? sadly we can't see listing of them in crypto sport

I don't see it that way. I'm expecting the odds of DRAW in the future exhibition match involving Mayweather won't be that attractive.

Odds provider knows that already so they are sure to make adjustments. And besides, official rules of the said match are surely released before they will release an odds.

would you say the mafia is present if it was Mayweather who won against Logan?  to me and most probably the rest who watched the fight could say Floyd got it.

2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: June 21, 2021, 07:15:26 AM

you can cash out any time you want but if you just sell when the price was still high, the time must be on your side. or you can hold until you need the money badly. that's now the ideal if you want to maximise your profit. just always think of the worse scenario every time there is a bull market. because it usually will happen, it's a cycle that the market reacts normally so sell whenever there is a price bubble.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 21, 2021, 07:07:31 AM
this guy has the guts to public his name and sell his books despite of what he did because what he did was a crime and its illegal .
isnt he scared that police will hunt him but for the boxers and referee its hard to say no because number 1 , there must be a big money offered to them and number 2 if they refused to this , their life would be in great danger .

sometimes it's just the two fighters who fix themselves according to him somewhat in this part. i couldn't imagine how the discussion will go. it's illegal but there is no one there to prosecute because basically, the fight is real.

a well-known Chinese politician for example who has the connection known for goons sits in the corner of a fighter. the goons probably had already paid each fighter a visit before the fight. they all will just put a show because someone is going to be in distress if the fight doesn't end the way they want it. most of the time these politicians and popular individuals stay close to the money maker/crowd's favorite fighter too.
2635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: June 21, 2021, 03:00:31 AM
So I asked about usdn staking last time where you get usdn and stake it... then you earn a lot of interest.  But now since my post, it seems like the interest rate dropped a lot?  Its now 8.51% APY.  Wasn' it at least 11% months ago?   So why did it drop so much?

I see you could stake usdc and usdt and it shows 14.73% APY and 14.74% APY for each of them but it says it returns usdclp and usdtlp.  But these are not the same value as usdc and usdt?

So example you stake 1000 usdc and 1000 usdt a month... with those rates... how much are you earning a month?  Of course if you keep staking it for a long time it keeps compounding.  So if those rates are the same for the entire year... how much usdc and usdt would you earn if you stake that much worth of usdc and usdt?  Because i know APY isn't the same as interest percent but confused because 1 usdclop is worth like 1.17xxxxxxx usdc right now etc.

it's not worth that is why you need to stake the coins which are also increasing their value like the WAVES token itself. you will only earn about 5% but if its USD price grows, i think it's more worth it than earning stablecoin but the percentage is slowly diminishing. looking at WAVES today, it appears like this is the only token that continues to grow in the bearish market.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 21, 2021, 02:24:47 AM

It may well be the case that this Farrell guy isn't legit, though. I highly doubt that actual high profile fight-fixers would willingly expose themselves due to potential trouble with law enforcement and retaliation from the underworld who lost money on bets, but they are certainly out there.

If it is about all book that he is promoting and to make money out of it, it's not even worth it, he will be in trouble all his life, from the authorities from organizations and from the syndicate, he is limiting himself for this and he will be targeted for liquidation at worse, there are many rumors about mafia involvement but no one's coming out to expose this, until this one, hope he has all the means to protect himself.

you just said it yourself no one coming out because authorities, not just the mafia members will soon come after this whistleblower. they protect each other much like how bike gang members protect each other.

we just see them in movies these days. if you watch the full video he actually said he was in hiding from this sports mafia and in the interview he also said he isn't naming anyone. of course, can' verify these to be true. chances are that he goes out now because the old folks he once associated with are dead.

for someone old as this guy, i'm not sure if he will still lie. probably just need legacy.
2637  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: June 20, 2021, 02:47:34 PM
To see that the biden are strong president we see that nobody willl take power of USA away.
Even China Will try with war...  But its Impossible USA have power over world oil and to get oil You need USA dollars and USA dollars u get it From USA Only Smiley

I don't see the great power of Biden if he doesn't have anyone behind him. Hasn't Biden been experienced since he was with Obama? so Biden is currently working diplomatically with China and Russia to mend their strained relationship. but have you ever thought that Putin is actually collaborating with the president of Turkey they are going to build a large company that was recently discovered on the Black coast near the Turkish border.

Obviously this has made Biden worried that since the discovery European countries have begun to approach Russia and Turkey. while from the beginning the hostility that was built between China and the US was a kind of cold war. Biden only looks weak when wooing without showing US anger.

Russia is also investing in other countries like Turkey, they really have plans to bridge countries in Europe to Asia like the belt and road of China.

the purpose of the meeting is to have a good relationship with Russia but instead, it's stirred down to elsewhere. i think Biden was asking for Putin to rejoin back to G7. the problem is that Russia has close ties with China, they are neighbors as it is.

2638  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Money Need Competition To Flourish on: June 20, 2021, 10:45:21 AM
Money needs a competition to thrive I believe. Since cryptocurrencies were released, fiat money has started having a tough time I think. Because it has a new competitor now. And it doesn't look like fiat will be the winner at the end.

each country thrives hard to provide their people and the economy is depicted by how competitive the price of the currencies against each other. the countries may be trading partners but their currency competes with each other. the country with more trading partners and the biggest volume are usually the ones to be considered base currency just like USD today.

Bitcoin is a newcomer to the world economy but this is not owned by a country nor a government. its the currency of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. this last line is plagrized  Grin
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador to revoke Bitcoin as legal tender? on: June 20, 2021, 08:32:48 AM
There is also that possibility that the next elected El Salvador president will vetoed it and revoke Bitcoin as legal tender in their country. However, if there are incentives and benefits from the government and their people then why revoke it? Just because an organization that facilitate help to countries in terms of loans (with high interest) telling them to repeal Bitcoin? that argument doesn't make any sense.
maybe weak hands is going crazy again right now because  of some news about El salvador and the results of the market after such news. Lol
In fact you have point there mate. " Wherein if they really have incentives and benefits on it  how comes they will revoke bitcoin." ? Seems this another fake news and really nonsense in my opinion. because it's not a joke when it's about money so how is that possible to happen ? .  Grin

the people will still keep using Bitcoin even if the law is vetoed. they should really understand that cryptocurrency is here to stay which no government can stop it. the more they try stopping it the more it's going to persist in coming back. the price may be low, it will still be used. it's like the kind of drug that use to be illegal but then eventually legalized.

2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 20, 2021, 04:35:07 AM

factoring the skills, experience, height, and reach advantage, it will be donaire that will win the match since he like to wait and counter which Casimiro always wants to be the aggressive contender to put pressure on.

does anybody think this is an exhibition fight? being a fan of both will probably make you pick draw. i will probably do that when it's listed in crypto sportsbook.
