1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Sandbox being acquired by Facebook (Meta)? on: July 04, 2022, 08:38:14 AM

I don't know if you have read this, but I quoted from the Co-Founder,
"This will never happen"

https://twitter.com/borgetsebastien/status/1540815270427729921

But the possibility is always there I guess, though I am not sure why Meta would want to acquire SandBox in the first place, they already showing some teaser of their own metaverse. And I don't think SandBox has significant differences with what Meta already have.

there it goes. sandbox doesn't really look like its something that could make useful in real world, its  close to what roblox is today which kids are playing. just as i can see in this sandbox preview. the kids also chat in roblox as i can see my kid is joining to her friends group like a server.

something that i don't know about though, i'm not following the project. the team must have good plans for Sandbox why they won't sell to facebook for more than what its worth.
1822  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 04, 2022, 07:13:08 AM
Happy Birthday!
you rarely posts these days. companies today are laying off employees even the crypto companies. despite the profit they make, gasoline stations may also be laying off.

yes its another wealth distribution that makes the poor poorer and rich to filthy richer.
prices going to the ceiling is not yet over, it could break the roof to the moon and investing  in petro could  very well save us from this bear market.
1823  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin users, are your withdrawals okay? on: July 04, 2022, 06:58:09 AM

How far-fetched is the idea that this FUD could even be coming from KuCoin itself so that by the time they finally admit to the public their insolvency they could easily point to this FUD as the real culprit?
If they really have in their control all the money that people deposited then FUD can't be used as a reason to be insolvent.

It's too bad so many of those exchanges offer services that encourage people to keep their coins with them for extended periods of time, like staking, lending, and such.  I'm sure there's money to be made that way, but it's risky as all hell.
To be honest, I don't think that people who are willing to hodl on exchanges need no encouragement and they would do it anyway, regardless of the APY exchanges offer which is usually not that great ( afaik 1-2). People just don't like responsibility of being your own bank.

its possible for Kucoin to do it for KCS holders to sell. Kucoin spreads the profit of the exchange to its KCS holder. debts could be rising if the bear market continues for another year. so maybe its time for them to spread fud so less users will share the profit.  its a way to shake off the users holding small amount of KCS.

user who could hold the bags on exchanges, should be wary already and try to withdraw after all you are holding.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 04, 2022, 06:38:49 AM
The thing is that there will always be weak hands. They are the people who buy at the
top purely on emotion and FOMO and sell at the bottom* out of both FUD and/or having
put too much into buying at the top and over extending themselves.

El Salvador and Microstrategy being strong hands means those Bitcoin that have been
bought cheap wont be on sale again for a very long time. This creates an even bigger
scarcity issue in the not too distant future.
Those are huge as well, it's not like some regular stuff or a cheap retail investor or anything. Sure there are some people with a few thousand dollars who would talk about how they are selling and they are scared and all of that, which is understandable. But at the same time we are talking about something where the people who have been involved with this do not have any type of fear if they have enough money.

This is why I believe that we should not be really feel scared neither, those people with hundreds of millions of dollars, even billions of dollars involved in bitcoin do not sell and they are even buying more right now and that should tell you what the rich are doing.

Yes for sure but there are always going to be people who have weak hands they probably
dont follow strong handed people and listen to the wrong people. It sometimes comes down
to education and a little bit of research as to whether someone would sell at a loss.

The education and research would inform those as to Bitcoins historical movements

they are in crypto for profit and when they don't because of the market experiencing the winter again, they will sell with the little they have gained or even at loss to hold cash this time of crisis. whether they buy back at prices lower than where they sold, its up to them. for the experienced traders, they will sell whenever they see the price could still  potentially fall.

even when they could see there are good fundamental news like President Bukele and Saylor buying the dip, they may not be buying along with these two because they are anticipating the halving cycle only.

If after 2 months we see constant result we can up the account with $200,000 USD daily
Needs to have experience and proof

i would really be interested to try to apply to this job but i'm just not confident to trade someone else money and take a blame. this is futures trader they are looking though which is more risky in the bear market  or in the market that is just moving sideways. this ad is 4 days ago yet he is interviewing: 0, its your chance.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 03, 2022, 05:14:07 PM

i'm sure he have also experience winning and so he kept expecting something might change the course if he keep doubling the bet. its that thought of winning that will also keep a gambler going. he didn't go back to $0.42 after wining but proceed to $6 and then apply the martingale.

dice seem tricky, it makes you win at first and when you start to become very positive that you're going to hit it, a losing streak comes. whats worse  is that its your last money. he floored it to MAX in the last roll. But even the bag holders also lose in dice if he gives all his luck to such game.

1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: July 02, 2022, 06:06:06 AM
VPN might worth in short term but expect a problem anytime especially using VPN means bypassing some security on the site especially knowing where you are playing. If gambling is restricted in your country then I think you have to deal with that.

Where are you from btw? Maybe some gambler here are also came from your country, they might be able to help you with thi.

was also wondering about this because when they ask KYC, the use of VPN might just be an issue for them. he must be  from countries where gambling is illegal which could also be risky for him.

but does anyone knows how we could use the same location and ipaddress over and over through VPN?

1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: June 19, 2022, 05:26:51 AM

just saw this video published today by Cyrus Janssen.  although he isn't providing link to what he is actually talking about. I did some googling which i found these:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-03-29/alibaba-makes-metaverse-bet-in-china-s-magic-leap-rival
https://www.alibabacloud.com/solutions/metaverse

i didn't know how AR differs to VR. Alibaba will be creating the worlds shopping center where you can use the headset and just literally going to experience this metaverse.

In the future i think its not so far fetch after all to play and travel around the world while at home. the way its been described by Cyrus will actually work best for metaverse casinos than what Zuckerberg have in mind.  i think this is where we can chat on the poker table and make bluffs.
1831  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph, account temporarily suspended. on: June 18, 2022, 02:11:58 AM

1832  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 16, 2022, 03:13:52 PM

would you recommend wasabi to someone who are not really up to censor anyone or someone who wil eventually want to send his coin to an exchange?

it does really have a good feature for privacy, this is useful but could also backfire when youre about to sell for profit because the exchanges may potentially freeze your coin.
1833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start crypto earning on: June 16, 2022, 02:53:34 PM
there is no risk free strategy right now even that stablecoin staking can cause loss if you think of inflation. youd have to risk to taste the thrill of investing. we are close to the bottom, a little more of waiting will not hurt.

i would try my luck too on altcoin like doge or ltc and will wait again for bullrun. oldschool coins never die.🤟
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market capitalization now well under $1T on: June 14, 2022, 07:03:47 AM
market cap number is MEANINGLESS

anyone can create an altcoin with 10 trillion coins.. sell JUST ONE coin to themselves publicly for $2 and instantly make a $20 trillion market cap

the market cap stat does not represent anything meaningful. so stop looking at it, no one really cares for it. its not even worthy of a topic mention

Woah, I didn't know that it is that much easy. So, how about you? Have you tried ?

that is supposedly how it works. if the token is listed in other exchange and its price in the other exchange is $1.  the marketcap will be recalculated and average afaik so the cap will be 1.5T. this is very simplified but you get to have the idea already with just it. BTC is in every exchange.

don't start thinking of creating a new memecoin, the hype is already over. we're done with it.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Multiplayer Gaming in Gambling Industry on: June 14, 2022, 04:21:55 AM

if it can enhance our social life we are just a home, its worth developing.  player vs player  has been around  but in gambling, i have no idea but side bets i guess will be possible if this is developed. so will this development go along with the metaverse?

1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey Shows ADA Is the Most Widely Held Crypto in the Bear Market on: June 13, 2022, 03:43:36 AM

i was looking the survey up on twitter and this is what i found https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1481737970562789376

i guess the lack of options made ADA the next and its a twitter community. there are more ADA holders there and its more surprising to see BTC got 38.4% votes only.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bulls Decide BTC is an Inflation Hedge & Charge? on: June 12, 2022, 07:40:56 AM
It is puzzling to me that the bulls are not stepping in scooping up more BTC at this price.
Unless you are the owner of all bitcoin exchanges or have some privileged access to their private history you can not make this claim. The fact is that in times like this when price is at a bottom and the accumulation phase is going on, regardless of what may happen next, there are a lot of people who are "accumulating" bitcoin. But they do it in a way that it doesn't affect the price because they want to maximize their profit.

holding BTC while there is recession can be a hard task and the whales are waiting for them to sell for the lowest possible price. if they believe that price can dive to $20K, they might just wait for it and make a transaction OTC.

doesn't act like a hedge when the value of BTC goes down while the inflation also keeps the goods prices soaring. its like two swords piercing holders.
1838  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph, account temporarily suspended. on: June 11, 2022, 01:44:14 PM

1839  Economy / Economics / Re: The world economy is in recession on: June 10, 2022, 06:27:54 PM

FED is destroying the demand of everything which this inflation is pretty much making the prices go high and people are not buying anything even when they have the money.
everything in stocks are down. we're doomed.

Bitcoin is 29K still so its holding on. hoping BTC will decouple soon.
