2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end for EOS? on: June 11, 2019, 03:39:21 AM
EOS has gone a long way to be here. They moved to their own blockchain is now one of the largest growing blockchain in number of dapps and sidechain tokens.
They are going to be the real competitor to Ethereum so there are a lot of FUD spread by people who are biased towards the so called alternatives of ETH and EOS.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Royal ramble in the casino on: June 10, 2019, 11:46:24 PM
He could have been a first timers. Gamblers, specially the one that comes in casino are very gentle and reasonable persons (except you shouldn't reason them against gambling). They are cool tempered and friendly.
If some first timers shows such arrogance, there are casino employees that asks him to leave the place as soon as possible and wouldn't allow him entry next time. Casino is like a closed club where every gamblers are minutely studied and kept a record of.
2643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks so much for making me a multi-millionaire!!! I AM EVER-THANKFUL! on: June 10, 2019, 11:39:49 PM
My tactic is simple and peculiar. Listen to the OGs that sounds the craziest and who all the people reply shit to.

No need to buy the little coins, you have to identify the major player of the future.

If people sound VERY confident that it's not possible, you are well positioned.

Chances are the crazy OGs are right.

This would mean right now buy Tezos

Enjoy

That's a great suggestion. Going with the major player of the future is the best idea but identifying them is a difficult task than ever.
For ethereums ICO, I was too there reading the posts and news and reading about the things ethereum wanted to achieve, I knew it could be the future but there were many suggestions of Ethereum just being a scam token and anything premined in such huge quantity would end up being a scam. That prevented me from buying a huge quantity of Ethereum. Did bought some at $13 and sold them later when the price reached around $300. There are many other things I regret about when it comes to crypto.
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are effective marketing strategies for new ICOs in 2019? on: June 10, 2019, 11:33:56 PM
One of the easy marketing strategies for ICO is IEO. It has both advertisement and investors meet up at the same time.
Make an attractive project first. Plan it well. Contact a good exchange, preferably binance, as they are the leader of the market.
If you got accepted, Binance launchpad would be a complete sold out. Even if you didn't get chance there many other leading exchanges provides a launchpad.
2645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: June 10, 2019, 11:30:56 PM
Crypto adoption is slow and confusing in my country.
The country has no cryptocurrency related laws at the moment while the government and court ocassionally makes different orders based on situations that sometimes seems good for crypto while mostly seem to illegitimatize it. Merchants are accepting payments specially in touristic areas, people are being able to pay bitcoin for coffee and clothes.
There are no online exchanges or a OTC one because the country issues no license for it.
2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic Wallet - Dangerous? on: June 10, 2019, 02:40:16 PM
Atomic wallet has extensively advertised itself as a multicurrency wallet on both mobile and desktop. They might be thinking of earning from the fees of the internal exchange but still there operation and advertisement seems suspicious. I'd not trust a large amount to keep with them as they are more profit focused than anything else. It remind me of holywallet.
2647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What kind of promotions We should use ? on: June 10, 2019, 02:37:43 PM
If you really want to achieve, you should advertise with more with visual contents. The team members explaining the project and why it would work is a better motivation to investors than seeing about it all over on ads. Participating in crypto based interactions and events are also useful in getting attention from regular and institutional investors.
2648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 10, 2019, 01:46:52 PM
Nadal is definetly the king for clay courts. He have won 12 of last 15 French open titles.
On comparison, non of him contemporary players had won it twice.
But when it comes to grass court, things gets different. Nadal has only won 2 wimbeldon titles in his career while Federer had done it 4 times and Djokovic thrice.
2649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a escape goat for the FED and BANKERS on: June 10, 2019, 12:27:00 AM
If bitcoin was made as per your suggestion, they'd never have made bitcoin an open source project. These people and institutions are cunning and they won't make thier creation easily copyable. Bitcoin not only is the pioneering cryptocurrency, it also opened up grounds for hundreds of other cryptocurrencies. You are free to choose any others if you don't like bitcoin.
Bitcoin is everything these central financial sydicates don't want. That's why they are the ones opposing it, sending legal threats and spreading FUDs.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whice bookie provide throw in, free and goal kick option. on: June 09, 2019, 01:31:34 PM
Betfair is my choice of gambling site when it comes to betting in throw ins, free kicks and goal kick options. Among the crypto options, sportsbet provides one of the larger option but I don't think they have throw ins or free kicks. Crypto based gambling sites still lacks a lot of options and their odds are still a bit less than traditional gambling sites like betfair and bet365.
2651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 09, 2019, 12:52:12 PM
With ICOs and their bounties running for years and with strict restrictions against leaving the cmapaign in middle, ICO campaign are mostly dying.
Users should only join those campaigns which would enable them to keep stakes for the weeks they have worked for and be able to get involved in other campaign of their choices.
About what to do with the received bounty, it's all upto the participants whether they want to instantly cash it out or hodl to see the price change.
2652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Vote] Next coin to be added to Stake.com & Primedice on: June 09, 2019, 12:31:49 PM
I voted for ripple. They are easy to use and quick to transact. They are easy to keep on a wallet. They could be exchanged almost anywhere and their lower price makes betting in whole numbers possible. They are one of the most popular tokens and more people are familiar to it than anything else. Stellar too is a good option but it's wallet is always confusing to new users.
2653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 Prediction Pool [Join FREE win x BTC] on: June 09, 2019, 12:28:07 PM
Why are people talking about 400 and 350? At current run rate India would hardly reach 300. If they are able to take advantage of the wickets they hold, they could reach upto 325 but no more. Australian bowlers won't be delivering them easy balls. And they have just 60 balls left and 100s the most they can get of it.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 09, 2019, 04:41:56 AM
As stated in the title, is it possible to run a game here in forum?
Here is the idea, let's take the example of Noona and Mismar (they are my turtles), if i can publish a live video (in youtube for example) of the tortules competing in a course for many times and offer bets for users here in a live thread by the help of one of the known escrows here, as we see in auctions or ruffles. (is this against forum rules?)
This may look dumb for many of you because i don't take it seriously so i can't explain it well.
I want to know if this is possible here in btc forum or not. And if anyone can suggest more ideas on how to realize this.

Sorry for the bad english.

Yes you can do that. Many users had and have been running different kinds of games and contest in the Games and Rounds section of this forum. Whether people would like and participate in your game are a different issue. Being transparent would attract further interest and a neutral escrow would provide sense of security to the participants.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: June 09, 2019, 04:13:55 AM
I'd not say loneliness and dissatisfaction are the cause of gambling addiction, but surely they would promote it. When there's no one to talk to you or ask where are your money going or care for you, you'll be gambling irresponsibly. If there's some one you love wants you to spend your money on better things than gambling, you'll at least feel guilty Everytime you gamble.
2656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apocalyptic Scenario - What happens to Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2019, 01:33:58 AM
What happens to the value of bitcoin in an apocalyptic scenario? Eg, if the world starts getting hit with electromagnetic pulses which knock out power, or let's say the report that came out a few days ago is true, that civilization as we know it deteriorates by 2050 due to mass migration from climate change.

Many claim that bitcoin will be worthless and gold, guns, and ammunition will be very valuable. On the other hand it has been claimed that bitcoin requires very little infrastructure and would work much better than other things. If bitcoin is truly a store of value, then it should store value especially in unfavorable circumstances.

Bitcoin is highly depended on internet.
If there is internet, Bitcoin would be much more popular as it is a hassle free value transfer but if we lost our internet connection, Bitcoin along with other online form of currencies would die and precious metals like gold and powerful tools and food would of course be of great value.
If bitcoin is to survive, it should devise a way to prove the transaction without proving it through internet which is impossible with current technology.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 09, 2019, 01:23:27 AM
I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

No registration bet are an important factor when betting. It not just makes you safe from unnecessary hassles of details and paperworks the site may enforce, it also makes you secure of any possible hacks on the site itself. There have been cases of emails and password being compromised as well the funds being stolen. But enabling no registration blockchain based bets would require the site to have additional security layer to make it safe from hackers and people trying to mix their coins for free.
2658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The analytics of my betting, what does it mean? on: June 09, 2019, 01:19:37 AM
It depends on many factors. Your base bet, your odds, your change in bet size and odd after each win or loss.
If you are to see that 1% house edge results, you should bet a constant amount in default odds i.e. x2 for a million of times. That way you'd reach closer to the expected result.
From your summary, we can conclude you were betting in low odds. That's why your wagering and number of bet, number of winning bets is higher but the profit is negative.
2659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC charges Kik ICO for issuing unregistered ICO on: June 08, 2019, 03:58:46 PM
I'd call it a blunder from the KIK ICO team. They should have been aware of the hostile laws of United States and should have refrained from letting the US citizens from participating in the ICO or at least use that in their term. I don't think any of ICO has been registered in the US and US is being a risk better not taken for any issuing Blockchain based projects.
2660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 Prediction Pool [Join FREE win x BTC] on: June 08, 2019, 03:40:39 PM
LOL! 386 to chase down for Bangladesh seems impossible and glad I chose England. Bangladesh already lost one wicket but looks like I'll miss the chance of getting 1 more point as I said England will get a narrow win which doesn't seem the case. Ban will lose with over 50 runs remaining.
Bangladesh lost their big hitter Tamim too. So as I am expecting now, England is going to have a trashing win. The worse case will be that they will have easy win. There are no chance for Comfortable or narrow win today :-P

In the other match, seems like rain is playing hide and seek LOL

Bangladesh is slowly building the partnership. They can't afford to lose wickets. If they have wickets in hands in last 10 overs, they can chase 100+ runs on this wicket.

Regarding other match, NZ would be hoping that rain does not spoil their 2 crucial points and Afghanistan will be hoping for the rain to give them a one Point.  Smiley

Good to see Bangladesh fighting back but they are chasing a gigantic target. Though their run rate are still in line to that of England, Shakib and Rahim are undobtly the best batting pair in Bangladesh team. fall of another couple of wickets might crumble their batting lineup. I think England has a better edge at wining this match as they bring themselves as one of the contender for the world cup trophy.
