1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governements Projects and Futur of the Bitcoin Revolution. on: November 22, 2019, 04:56:18 PM
Destroying bitcoin is not the only reason for governments to issue their own crypto. They want to tap the blockchain technology to make fiat or government regulated currency competitive with the popular cryptocurrencies. If they were to act against bitcoin, they would have enacted a complete ban over it's mining, trading and use.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 22, 2019, 02:56:12 AM
If He Forget everything on purpose ?  Cheesy ( Like The genius for remember everything 10 years later everything he did making something he is alone able to see them ).

He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.

Imagine what he was able to do in 2008 already, when no one in world have the power to change the world, he was the one to believe he was able to start the revolution alone and change entire world by himself.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.

Satoshi was very clever in not leaving a trace on everything he did. From anonymously registering for sites and domains and using text only conversation with other bitcoin developers. But if the government really started an investigations, it may track down a past of him using the internet which could lead us to satoshi. There are no restriction to access to data to the government and they can track down through many routes like IPs and Macs. They might even already know who satoshi is but has refrained from making it public.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No, Bitcoin’s Circulating Supply is Not 18 Million on: November 22, 2019, 01:23:18 AM
There has been some kind of news like this before

Yes there was and it struck a similar debate every time.

In 2017 they were saying that 2.5 million is lost + 1 mill of Satoshi's coins that are out of circulation.
Now it's only 1.5 mill lost? The number is decreasing. In 2022 expect them to come up with another random number. Maybe 4 million this time?
Source: https://fortune.com/2017/11/25/lost-bitcoins/

The coins are ever decreasing. The statistics are not 100% correct as they might be considering the unmoved coins as out of circulation that could also be a wallet of whale hodling.
The statistics may depend on how far in history they are looking and how much wallets they are referring to. There could even be thousands of hundred of satoshi left in abandoned wallets.
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 01:13:31 PM
Usually, the price of BTC starts going down couple of days before Christmas, so then the gift is most likely cheap BTC...

Yup. The greatest gift of Santa would be cheap BTC and wisdom to realize it.
This could be the last chance of buying bitcoin below 8K. And it may look like a free after a decade.
But I really hope he brings happiness and pleasure without the stress of how much you  are losing. Patience would be paid in the long run.
1805  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Epstein faked his death. on: November 21, 2019, 11:50:57 AM

His only brother will inherit the 540 million fortune, aka confirming the 540 indeed are mine now, that is him, confirmed.

Months old, but Rudy Giuliani on Epstein's 'mind-boggling' death: It's impossible

Well the dots do connect. It's highly suspicious why the guards and all of the people responsible didn't did their duty properly. He was not a normal convicted criminal and the guards were not fools. Either he was killed or he was like said by OP made free.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here’s How Much of Each Major Altcoin Is Owned by Whales on: November 21, 2019, 11:47:34 AM
I prefer to have more information about these addresses. Are exchanges also in this list? if there is, it would not be right to call them "whales".

We all want to be whales. Cheesy But we are late for the chance these whales got.
Most of them are surely exchanges but the holding of Cardano seems troublesome. This also proves bitcoin is one of the most decentralized coin.
This could also be a good news for investors looking for a bull run as whales still believe in those coins. But it's not a good news for overall intention of crypto.
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bytecoin really scam? How come? on: November 21, 2019, 05:45:09 AM
You seem to have deleted the post that got your red trust. I believe you were doing more than saying good about bytecoin when you got that trust rating.
If you feel your act was not a big issue, try and write it to fluffypony or mail him to get some attention. I hope he would respond your concern.
1808  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which US presidential candidate is the lesser evil for BTC? on: November 20, 2019, 02:41:22 PM
Undoubtedly Andrew Yang is the number one pro-bitcoin candidate for 2020 presidential elections. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Yang
Though his chances may be less even among the democratic, he'd be a voice of pro-crypto lobby in the presidential debate.
And he is accepting donations in bitcoin.

1809  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tesla sources cobalt from Democratic Republic of Congo on: November 20, 2019, 02:34:26 PM
Every enterprise has dark sides. They need to do whatever to keep the price low. They are sourcing material from cheap provider, it's not much of their concern how the product is obtained. It's largely the responsibility of the Congo's government to stop child labor and make provision for these kid to obtain proper education in schools. And we should rather pressure/help congo's government to make the change. Pressuring Telsa to stop getting Cobalt from DRC would have even more drastic consequences for those kids.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: November 20, 2019, 01:23:30 PM
No we aren't. And my latest realization has given me insights that hodling is the best strategy. Looking at the price of bitcoin now and again would make you unsatisfied. You may look at it and say the price has crashed from last week but if you look at the long term, the price is still a larger than the average price of bitcoin this year. And much more higher than last. If you keep on hodling, you'll surely get a good profit one day. Just stop calculating your profit or loss everyday. You'll have no profit or loss unless you sell.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 20, 2019, 01:11:16 PM
I'm predicting a rapid change in the crypto industry. New types of project entering the market while we change the way we trade and hold our cryptocurrency. I'm hoping for doubling of price of bitcoin along with other promising project. I expect some sort of global regulation on fundraising through IEO or similar approach. 2020 would be a deciding year for crypto future for sure.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: November 20, 2019, 05:27:05 AM
Millennial are saving a few and want to increase their money. Gold and Real Estate are costly and has longer hassle to deal with. On the other hand you can buy bitcoin and crypto while resting in your bed. Millennial loves not going out of their room and bitcoin is a good asset to have profit buying and selling.
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 19, 2019, 01:46:35 PM
A new record has been set with over 6,000 Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide. Everyday, cryptocurrency achieves a unique milestone which further puts it in position for global adoption which is inevitable.

We need more of such ATMs and fewer fees. We'd also need OTP counters to change our fiat into crypto, until that every bitcoin enthusiast and trader should act as a mobile exchange counters to ease up people buying bitcoins. Many people don't have bitcoin as they believe it's a hassle to buy and hold it.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 19, 2019, 09:01:21 AM
Till date the table looks like a random luck as a few balls could decide wining or losing than the team as a whole. Most of the time, half of the team has no contribution than fielding and sometimes a fielder can finish the match even without touching the ball.
Though the game would surely develop new batting and bowling skills as batsmen would devise new ways to hit the boundary while bowler would test their temper and on not letting the batsmen score.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: November 19, 2019, 08:50:50 AM
Moving the popular games into blockchain might have several issues. But we could easily build and implement new blockchain based online multiplayer games. It would have several benefits to the traditional gaming but also need to find a way to counter some problems that are constantly being faced by online gamblings like unofficial modding and manipulation.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Circumvent KYC if You Can? on: November 19, 2019, 07:53:07 AM
I detest government influence on Bitcoin. Initially, I thought it was anonymous means of transfer of value that I could use to do business with people all over the world PRIVATELY and perhaps no one would know what I'm doing, especially my corrupt politicians. But what we have today is Bitcoin that is increasingly becoming another central bank. Would you find a way around KYC is you could? https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/privacy-conscious-bitcoin-traders-use-bisq-to-avoid-kyc/

There are many options not only bisq that a trader can use just to trade between cryptocurrencies. There are many dex that does the job of making your conversion while respecting your privacy. But centralized exchanges now offers much more than the trading between two different coins. Users are compelled to do a KYC in order to use those services.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real use cases that can't go wrong on: November 19, 2019, 05:32:18 AM
The real use case would be integrating crypto with system. A general purpose crypto can be used for buying or selling anything but a use specific crypto would be required to get a service or product. Consider a bus network that can be paid only through tokens. No one would trouble buying those token unless they get some privilege whether in price of facility. Integrating payment on blockchain would make it easier for the company to track statistics of use and money spent. These data can be used to upgrade the service.
1818  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcoin not supposed to be about FREEDOM ??? on: November 19, 2019, 02:58:16 AM
No one can censor you from bitcoin. Everyone is allowed to trade and hold bitcoin and no one can stop that. Your own government might crack down on you if you do illegal activities to earn bitcoin but bitcoin itself won't censor white money and black ones. Bitcointalk.org is a forum to discuss about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It's owned by some people and the rules and censorship occurs according to their desire. If you want to discuss freely about bitcoin, you can start your own forum.
1819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 18, 2019, 04:08:22 PM
As you known, the price of Bitcoin have been reached up 12K$ in June.
And with your experience, could you share the opinion about the price of Bitcoin in November or 2019Y?
I think it is 9K in this month and reach 10K in last month of this year  Grin Grin Grin

I'd say bitcoin will remain below 9K for the rest of the 2019. Festival times are here and the environment is not good overall for crypto. Things would start to settle after some time and Bitcoin would start to bull around May 2020 and would possibly reach the ATH in the third quarter of 2020 before correcting to some extent.
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you close your Bank account, when your Bank turn against Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 03:16:57 PM
Where I have my account I also have a pending loan and also it's the bank preferred by my employer.
So unless I change my job and I also get enough money to pay back my debts, the chances to leave that bank are slim.

And I hope that by the day my loan is paid, Bitcoin also gets recognised properly as a coin everywhere.

It's the same for me. We are stuck with banks not because we are using it to buy or sell bitcoin or crypto but the crypto hasn't replaced our need for banks.
Even if some of us use bitcoin as it is to trader, there would still be a lot of people who won't accept or use bitcoins mostly because they are not familiar with it.
For crypto to replace banks, eveyone needs to be familiar to crypto and be legalized by governments as legal person won't be able to do illegal trades.
