2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap founder Hayden Adams paid 78.99 ETH to buy Crypto Punk 6055 on: August 03, 2021, 09:43:20 PM
That's a support of the NFT project, Uniswap is a big success so that amount paid is quite small for support.

Nothing big in this news actually, we know how this market works, they'll make a decision to create some hype so the market will hype again.
NFT IMO is still hype, I'll believe they'll succeed and has a good future once the market suffers a long bear market and they'll be affected.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 03, 2021, 12:32:27 PM
Rumors are that Kyle Lowry is about to sign a deal with the Miami Heat. This is a bit surprising to me, but I guess that is as close to a contender as he could get. I know he really wanted to win a ring and play with his friend Derozan again (they still talk on the phone daily). Maybe we’ll see Derozan try to make his way to Miami as well, but I’ve heard nothing to indicate that.

I think Lowry already confirmed it thru his twitter:

https://twitter.com/Klow7/status/1422325852709216256

I guess when Lakers took WB, it's the end of the deal for Lowry to be LA bound. So him and DeRozan playing together again might be out of the picture. But I don't know how will he be a perfect team for Miami though, unless Miami offload some of it's players so that Lowry will have minutes to play.

Very positive news, Miami Heat really needs a good PG and Lowly is so fit with the team as he came from a defensive team. Dragic is not getting any younger, he is now inconsistent so Butler needs someone who can be trusted in managing the floor and Lowry fits the job well. One step at a time, now more big movement of players, Lowry is enough to make Heat a great team again.
2643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 02, 2021, 06:25:13 PM
We have a hint already.

Report: Carmelo Anthony interested in signing with Lakers, waiting on phone call

However, even if it will come into reality, it's not big news anymore as Carmelo Anthony has already passed his prime.
I like big names like Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan going to other teams.
Probably it's more of a *good to be on the same team* for Lebron and Anthony. Anthony could be past his prime, but we all know that there could be games that he shows flashes of his old self in Portland.

I'm not sure if they still can accomodate DeRozan or Lowry. Unless Toronto is willing to do a 1:1 trade with Dennis Schroder.

DeRozan or Lowry does not have to play with the Lakers, they already have Westbrook and these guys are in huge contract, maybe they'll be more useful to other teams but these players are not getting any younger, so let's see if there are teams who are willing to gamble with these star players.
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: July 30, 2021, 09:35:29 PM
XRP is one tough coin that after all that happened it's still maintaining a good position on coinmarketcap and for a long time now, I haven't heard anything about the SEC case (or maybe I wasn't following up again) which is now giving the coin more room to breath and grow, and maybe regain its position on coinmarketcap, although it might be hard to happen again.
Well, talking about the price of XRP, much have not been heard about any developments and owing to that, the price pump will somewhat depend on Bitcoin, that is, if the bulls returns and Bitcoin pumps bringing about good confidence and positivity to the market, XRP might follow suit as their holders or big players might want to pump it to $1.

Close again to $1 and still pumping, regarding with the open case there's still no updates if what happened

to the SEC decision but seems that bag holders are working currently and continue to collect those cheap

coins inside the market, good for early holders who kept their assets inside their wallet while risk for those

who are now going to ride, knowing how easy those big holders can dumped what they've got.

28% increase in a week, not bad but I am not riding it yet as I believe there's a chance that the market will be dumping again, I'm just enjoying what I'm seeing now and I'll wait for another dip. I have a feeling that the current run is not a real bull run yet, it could be a bull trap, just saying.
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: July 30, 2021, 09:07:54 PM
I always thought that it would be wiser to get shooters around Lebron, it is basically today's games meta and everyone is a shooter, even shooters get a better draf pick instead of just big guys like we used to see. However westbrook is not a bad player, so I can't say much, would the strategy fit? Absolutely not, 3 players who mainly play inside is not a good idea at all and westbrook is one of the worst volume shooters in the whole world, he is not a good shooter and he still keeps on shooting for some reason, so having him with Lebron and AD is a strategy suicide.

However at the end of the day as a talent level? Dude is the best they could have hoped for, they needed to get like Dame or something if they wanted a better shooter AND better overall talent which they would fail so I honestly think that for talent level wise they acquired the best player they could.

With Westbrook being on the floor, they'll basically have at least 2 shooters on the floor as Lebron and Davis will all clog in the inside, this lineup will focus on scoring inside the basket, and their defense will definitely improve, so what we will expect for the Lakers is a much more improve as a defensive team and less attempt in the 3 point line, unlike a 3 point shooting team.
2646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Bitcoin Poll on: July 30, 2021, 02:21:56 PM
Big companies like Amazon will benefit from the acceptance of bitcoin, it will give way for people that do not have a credit card to do a purchase online if they see it will increase their revenue, then they will accept bitcoin.

A big company just has to ensure that they will not have a problem with the government, especially its authorities, and I'm sure they have a lot of capable accountants who can do the job for them to manage the risk of bitcoin's volatility.

I voted yes, I'm just optimistic though.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 30, 2021, 12:44:39 PM

Lots of young players left in the Lakers although I'm not sure if they will also be placed in the trading blocks especially Andre Drummond and Dennis Schroder.

if these two will be traded, sure the Lakers will be able to acquire a number of players that would be vital to help the big 3 of the LA Lakers.

Looking at the current LA Lakers roster now, they still have.

Ben McLemore
Markieff Morris
Wesley Matthews
Talen Horton-Tucker
Marc Gasol
Alex Caruso

Note" there's still more but I did not count those names I think will not give a good contribution to the team.

These names that you mentioned were very useful to their previous teams, some of them are even star players so there's no doubt they'll step up if given a good playing time.  Talen Horton-Tucker, this young fella has good potential, maybe the reason why the Lakers is still keeping him. Also, Ben McLemore had a good seasons with the Kings, who knows he'll play better next season.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will long-term investments in the crypto space provide any guarantee? on: July 30, 2021, 12:26:31 PM
The word investment means risk, if you understand the risk, you'll understand that it will never provide any guartanee.

I tell you, even bitcoin which is the most trusted crypto in the market, it is still considered as a high risk investment as we never know the future and bitcoin could fall like a bubble investment in the past, so invest and learn to take profit, and most importantly invest what you can afford only as that would mean you understand that there's a risk of losing also.
2649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 30, 2021, 09:41:22 AM
And in general, gambling is risky, therefore it's not wise to gamble if you are not discipline.
Everything has a risk, even trading and investment also have risks. That's why we need a good understanding to do something, including playing gambling. Not only be discipline, but we also need to have sufficient knowledge about what we are playing and know how to control our emotions there. You are better to play once you have been mature enough.
Discipline is enough to prove that you know what you are doing, learning the basics of gambling is very easy, but the hardest part actually is to stay discipline as that would make you control yourself and you'll not lose crazy amounts leading to financial problem.

Also, when you are not at the right age yet which is normally at 18 or 21 years old, you should not gamble as you have a weak emotion and you can easily be addicted to gambling.
Psychologically, when you are already more than 18 years old, you have been mature enough. But no guarantee that you have good self-control although meets the age requirements (18 above). Also, addiction cases cannot be determined by the age number. It is personal problem that can be caused by varied factors.
But at least the government or authorities has to set a fix guidelines on those who are allowed to gambling, and 18 years old has been set for some as it's an age of maturity. Well, everyone should learn from their mistakes, if one will not, then that would be his problem.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: July 30, 2021, 09:04:22 AM
Unfortunately, this year I cannot boast of any big winnings. The only thing that happens to me is the winnings of a few or so $. Worse is that I can say at least a few big loses. I'm not talking about sports betting, but about the casino and slots.
Unless the casino win can be called the fact that I take part in the 1xBit signature campaign, because I have already received several hundred dollars from them  Grin Grin

We've experienced the same thing this year and I realized that crypto gambling isn't all about winning because there are still unlucky days no matter what strategies we may apply. I also have big losses this year than the profit that I gained. However, I'm still grateful that I was able to control myself from releasing too much funds. There will still be lucky days for us in the future.

So far I have not had greater profits, the greatest gain that I have had was in 2018, when in FreeBitco. In I got almost 0.01btc, that has been my greatest gain with an X5 multiplier and where I almost reached the limit to lose everything. This year I have bet on many platforms, I have not had big profits because I usually play and win a little, after I lost 1600tokens Bfg betting on coinflip, my thought and way of playing went from being very risky to have measured. I also learned to have more self-control, and this self-control I took it from the experience with the trading, which now I also conform with few profits, this does this in this way to get gain but in the long term.

I think it's easier to remember our biggest loss than our biggest wins, lol.

Well, personally, I have a big win but later on, I will just lose that money, I am just a gambler who loves to gamble, so I always make sure that every time I win big, I will convert it into physical things, enjoy the winning as eventually gambling site will take it away from us the next time we gamble.
2651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's with "axie infinity"? on: July 30, 2021, 07:45:24 AM
The product is live and anyone was able to play the game even some were able to make a lot of money from there. The sustainability of the price can be seen based on how useful the product that already been created by AXIE.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/
You can try to take a look at that link dude

In my opinion, the major coin has very good factors to support the sustainability of the project. Did you see the revenue that was already been generated by axie? of course the situation can change anytime but you should remember that major project has a better position

Axie infinity is a very good and most successful NFT game available on the market. The only problem is when the market is already saturated by minted Axies and no more fresh money enter the market to finance the token value. We know that SLP is infinite supply and the reason why it's still sustainable is because there still new money entering due to hype, But once the hype is over, This overvalue on Axies and SLP will start to crumble. This might happened gradually but if you left behind, You might hold an Axies that has low value while paying for it high. So don't invest what you can't afford to lose. This is a game and not a main source of income.

I agree with that reason, everytime there's hype in the market, we usually see a project pumped. Axie is very popular now, but just like other projects, the hype will not stay forever the price will eventually correct. Well, if we want to ensure profit here, just exit at the right time and believe that the dump will come anytime soon.
2652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: July 29, 2021, 03:04:09 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
it is too early to conclude that the green market is a sign that the bulls are coming back, it will take more time to conclude all that. because the movement when the green is unstable is still moving downwards all the time. It's okay to be optimistic and we hope that the time to increase will return again, but it looks like the momentum from bitcoin has not been seen and still needs time. so be patient because the end of the year is still long where at that time ATH will be formed again,
You can't prevent people from getting bullish because they are optimistic that the increase will continue, it's been few days since the market is still in the green, we have already pump to $40k and that is a great sign that we have a bullish market again. Well, it might not be consistent yet, but this is how the market moves, it's never stable and easy to predict.
2653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 29, 2021, 02:36:07 PM
I think what OP is trying to ask is if you are a gambler that you are able to participate in the discussion or just faking it so you can meet the post requirement for your signature campaigns. Gambling should be fun and entertaining but the only problem is that the discipline to control yourself when to stop is going to difficult to do.
Does this include you.
Some people understand the definition of Gambler may be different. A gambler in my opinion means someone who likes to play and even experiences addiction to gambling. So if that's asked of me I'm not a gambler. But I once gambled for pleasure. So if I draw conclusions from that I am not a gambler. So I'm not going after the post, but it's interesting to have a discussion to make this clearer.

Gamblers are those who risk their money or other valuables in games of chance (without any control of the outcome). There are many varieties of gamblers—compulsive gamblers, casual gamblers, etc. But they're still gamblers.

And in general, gambling is risky, therefore it's not wise to gamble if you are not discipline. Also, when you are not at the right age yet which is normally at 18 or 21 years old, you should not gamble as you have a weak emotion and you can easily be addicted to gambling.
2654  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring a person. 30 usd per day. 8 hours work on: July 29, 2021, 02:20:24 PM
Can you be more transparent about your offer?

I think you'll get a lot of interested people if you will just put some details of the job.
Honestly, I usually don't chat with people in telegram if I have no idea what the offer is, I'm sure others feel the same.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: July 29, 2021, 10:24:22 AM
BTC is fine to use so long as you dont require to be moving it back and forth as the transaction queue is too often backlogged and its not cheap enough to transact often.   The alternate I used to use quite often was Ethereum classic because it was widely accepted and very cheap but there is probably a better alterative to that now.    BTC rising is a positive as it means my balance is worth more, seems good to me and encourages me to bet with as my winnings gain surely the fear of losses in price especially a fast loss would be far greater discouragement then any other factor.

I thought ETC transaction fee is still expensive, if we are looking for the cheapest, then we should go with the high volume coins that are widely accepted in different exchanges, and I'm particularly talking about XRP, the next option is TRC20 (USDT), this is also widely used now as the fee is very minimal.

By the way, if we look at the transaction fee of bitcoin now, it's still cheap, so it's not a problem and a good time to gamble.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 29, 2021, 10:11:30 AM
It probably has to do more of the mental aspect when it comes to gambling and being competitive in general. The more effort you give and strategize to a game, the more you will be affected when you lose. In your case, you get to enjoy your winnings because its either unexpected or you didn't really spend effort or time to make a precise decision on who to bet on. In result, your unexpected winnings would seem effortless for you and you feel more lucky than normal.
Even the strategies don't play out more than ones. A gambler might develop a strategy and gets lucky with it the first time and if the gamer decides to try the same strategy again on a different game he losses out straight. It's still safer not to take gambling as an occupation so that if by chance luck shines on an individual he goes home rejoicing else he wouldn't be affect psychologically because losses in gambling can trigger emotional trauma
It's up to you if you believe you can't be consistent in gambling on the winning side, then never thought of considering it as a source of income as it will never work, what will work is, you'll hard to earn money only to lose money in gambling. It's true that there are people who make a living in gambling, but only a few of them, you are lucky if you have the skills and part of the few, but if not, there's still a way to enjoy gambling and that is by considering it as entertainment only.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 29, 2021, 09:36:33 AM

He will surely improve, I believe in that, and actually, it's not hard for him to train especially his FT shooting as he is a talented player. If Giannis has improved his free throw shooting a bit, I think Simmons can also do his. Maybe, he needs to play with other teams where he will not only be a shadow of the main superstar because 76ers already have Embiid which I believe not a good team player.
You believe that he will improve but the teams in the league aren't believing in him anymore. They know more than us and they might know how Simmons is inside and outside the court. I have nothing against Ben but I'm just saying that his value is really low right now. Maybe many here hate Stephen A. but there is some text message that has been sent to him just days after the 76ers got eliminated by the Hawks telling that Simmons is being "baby-ed" by the team. You are working and yet you are getting baby-ed by the team? That isn't a good attitude.

His future is unpredictable. Many teams can't risk because of how he played. Ohh I remember yesterday when the Raptors declined the offer of 76ers that includes Simmons to VanVleet, Anunoby and picks. Now there is another team who declined the offer of 76ers again and that is the Spurs. Here is the proposed trade base on a post on Facebook.

Spurs will receive Ben Simmons
76ers will receive 4 1st round pick players, 3 pick swaps and a young player.

Take note this will depend on the draft and yet the Spurs declined it. That is how low the value of Simmons is right now that they are rejecting him even though the players involved are just players coming into the draft.
You can read more here: https://thespun.com/more/top-stories/nba-world-reacts-latest-ben-simmons-trade-rumors

I don't see any problem with his stats. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/simmobe01.html

The only problem is his lack of IQ especially in the playoffs, this guy is 100% a star in the future, and we have to give him a try, maybe if he play with other teams he will improve. Spurs management is good in developing players, we have seen players that started with Spur and are very valuable in their current team now, even the coach of the Bucks, he used to be an assistant coach of Gregg Popovic.

2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: July 28, 2021, 04:32:19 PM
Looking at the current state of the market I am sure the bull run will return we feel, but we must first look at whether the current price increase will last long or just a moment, this is still in doubt among all of us then for now we must prepare assets first, so that later can invest in altcoins that we can indeed rely on And we expect the current bull to end up next year so that we can reap satisfactory profits.

There's a major pump that has happened, and day by day bitcoin has a little increase.

Per CMC record (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/), bitcoin has already increased by 24% in the last 7 days and that's a big increase since bitcoin is leading the market. With the increase of bitcoin, the market looks lively again as we are also seeing an altcoins party.
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 28, 2021, 10:24:36 AM
Interesting to hear the Freddie Roach first choice is Mikey Garcia,

Quote
“He wasn’t my first choice,” Roach said of Spence to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports. “I was leaning toward Mikey Garcia, because he challenged us several times and so forth. When Manny picked Spence, I said, ‘Congratulations, you picked the best guy out there.’”

https://www.boxingscene.com/roach-admits-spence-not-his-first-choice-pacquiao-he-leaning-mikey-garcia--159392

That's why perhaps the Garcia's camp was surprised that Manny eventually chooses Spence and that's why the lawsuit.

But I guess Manny just wanted a bigger purse and instead goes for a bigger risk bigger reward on Errol Spence.

I disagree. It will not be for a bigger purse. I read Pacman’s present situation and found that he wants to run for president of the Philippines as the opposition. I reckon a win versus the best welterweight boxer, according to the experts, my choice for that is Terrence Crawford, in any case it will make his survey ratings pump! His popularity will go to the moon and it will certainly give him a better chance to win against the incumbent’s candidate.

I doubt his popularity will be the key to winning the President, boxing and politics are two different things, he may be good in boxing, no doubt because he is a legend but I doubt he can be a good President if ever he wins. if you look at Pacquiao's academic records and political experience, you know know that he is not matured  and experience enough to run a country.
2660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 28, 2021, 09:01:35 AM
Simmons' future is kinda unpredictable right now and its risky for the Raptors to get a player who can't even shoot threes and can't make free throws
Not to brag but I would bite my tongue this time because the guy is still young and he would improve if he do so. There's too many room for improvement for him but it isn't impossible of he puts effort and doesn't mean what he does in the the past that he will still have the same future.

There will be too many rumors circulating right now and it's just better to avoid the hype because even the Nets superteam hasn't gone much this season - all for hype and deals.
