1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep some Terra Luna coins to keep as a keepsake? on: May 20, 2022, 02:59:58 PM
Many coins have reached the market and has turned valueless, further got delisted from the exchanges. What has happened with Terra Luna is no different, only thing that makes the difference is the popularity and being on the top order as a much trusted asset with good growth. Terra Luna is highly progressing and in between the wrong mechanism used has made the entire network collapse. Even now there is hope and more South Korean people are into accumulating more Terra Luna.
It's actually unexpected, nobody is able to think this will end like that, with an abrupt decline together with the bear trend?
People had to love Luna and put this on their list, this project even see will last longer than ETH and BNB. As it was been listed on the top exchanges like Binance, of course, we can draw into conclusion that this was a great investment but too unfortunate how this end badly. I'm saying it END because I'd never see the light upon this project.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40 high schools in Argentina to launch bitcoin in their curriculum. on: May 20, 2022, 02:15:49 PM
To be honest I'd rather prefer if schools had a subject of investing and finance by default, rather than Bitcoin specifically. Explain to the students how to save money and what investment instruments are available, then just let them decide themselves what they should invest in and what the allocations are.
They miss that thing as these teachers and professors wanted to make their students just work after graduation.

They just teach us how to account for expenses and incoming money but do not teach us how to invest and where we put our money if we already have it. In fact, I'd learn how to invest outside school, from friends, and from social media.
May having Bitcoin in the school curriculum is a good idea to spread awareness but also it is a need to include the discussion about blockchain technology.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 20, 2022, 12:59:58 PM
~snip~

I still believe that Donaire can still defeat Inoue with a right pace and timing.

Same here, if Donaire could time perfectly that counter left hook flush on Inoue's chin, there's a chance that the former will knockout Inoue. Backing Donaire in this fight but I'm not expecting so much as Inoue will also be preparing hard on this fight because he already knows the capability of his opponent as he already tasted that left hook that almost sent him down so expect him to be avoiding those as long as possible.

For sure Inoue and his camp will be preparing for that left hook that almost send him down, Donaire can imitate that same style and if luck permits and opportunities open up for him, Donaire will not waste his time and will try all the best that he got to bring the monster down.

Sparing spare money to back Donaire is a good idea while watching the fight. It will add more excitement during the fight.

Bet the amount that you can afford to lose, right?

Don't worry about a small bet because with the big odds of Donaire, it will give you a good return. I'm also doing the same to support our Filipino boxer, and though many people believe that Donaire is already old, I still believe he has the power to go toe to toe with Inoue and could possibly KO him as he did in his pas opponents.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Mavericks) on: May 20, 2022, 12:26:58 PM
The defense on Luka is only single coverage, if Luka cannot be effective in sharing the ball, even if he score, he will still get easily tired in the 2nd half. That's what we see in game 1, it was close in the 1st half but in then 2nd half the Warriors displayed their full dominance.

Actually, I don't have any problem with that Luka's style since that was effective throughout.

My concern is those lots of failed attempts at the rainbow area right from the 1st Quarter. Dodging the Warrior's defense isn't a problem with the Mavericks but there are lots of uncontested shots made by Luka, Brunson, Bullock, and Kleber to name a few but they can't nail those shots. In other words, almost the majority of Mavericks gunners are having their worst shooting percentage that night regardless if it was well-defended or not.

I believed they can bounce back. The series is still a long way to go. Mavericks don't have a Game 1 win yet in the whole playoffs. They always started behind.

So with that, I think they'll also lose in game 2 and will win game 3. They will have to make the right adjustment, but if their shooting is still awful, then most likely we will see the same result as in game 1. Warriors are very much ready, they'll do everything to protect their home court, so I expect a 2-0 score after game 2.

That's the public perception, however, if we look at the previous round, on the games of the Warriors, they don't cover most of the games. Actually, most of the games are covered by the Memphis, and that's why we have to be very careful when it comes to betting as the line that we think is very attractive could only be a trap to beat us.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 20, 2022, 12:04:29 PM
Now the Heat needs to steal one game in Celtics' homecourt.
They need to if they want to make this a long series.

The big question is when? Game 3  or 4. It made the series more entertaining for us. I bet the spreads will also change drastically after that blowout game.

The odds are already out, Bostin is now -6 on their home court, but I would still not gonna bite it right away, this series is going to be a long one and I'm pretty sure that Miami Heat is also making a plan to do the right adjustment in game 3.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: May 19, 2022, 11:48:11 PM
...

I agree with you, I think that a person who manages to combine these two analyzes, plus personal analysis and who is close to reality, would be winning, I always try to do that, but sometimes I don't have a complete understanding of the market, and if I keep insisting because I would lose a lot, because I don't have full understanding, so in these cases what I do is not operate, what I dedicate myself is to see the market and see if it gives me an opportunity to enter according to my criteria and if my vision of the market is the correct one, because otherwise, it is like entering a casino to gamble, and that is not recommended in trading.

I think it was not hard to execute especially if we want to succeed. Because for me, TA and FA had something to do with our trades, I'd see them as valuable tools that could help us to make a better trade. Maybe we couldn't make a perfect analysis but at least we increase our chances, unlike if we use nothing. And I certainly recommend using these two, otherwise, you are right, we called it gambling, not trading.

Apparently, we can't appreciate things if we tend not to use them in actual scenarios.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: May 19, 2022, 11:11:07 PM
The Luna incident has had a lot of ramifications in the bitcoin industry. I have nothing against Luna, but based on what I've seen, all of the rescuing or reversal attempts may be futile. Would you rather possess a new coin that is more valuable than your most recent Luna or UST money (which are currently worthless)?
Yes, and I don't think this is enough to compensate people who lose their money because of the trust and confidence they put in them. In fact, I'd consider Terra Luna to be a good project but unfortunately, they have tricked us people, and nobody was able to see it happen. And now they are offering some diversion but never I think this will bring back the trust that these investors made before.
1668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DON'T QUIT on: May 18, 2022, 11:26:19 PM
Quiting is never the best option in Bitcoin  despite the losses one have had,one still need to thrive forward and continue persevering in order to get to a greater height. They say quitters never win and winners never quit, that is to say that what ever you've started, never should you quit, because every day is not a bad day,one day will surely pay off and you will smile.
Instead of quitting, research more, read more, learn more and believe in your self, and never have doubt on what you can achieve.
No, I still believe this was the best option especially if we don't see any good to our journey. Remember that "we are all welcome in crypto, all can just try" but never does it say that everyone will understand the nature of the market and that is why many are leaving for good. Quitting is not a mindset of optimistic people but not all the time we have to sacrifice ourselves and our future. It is sometimes we need to step down and accept that our journey is not for crypto, it could be in other places.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to buy - end of bear market incoming on: May 18, 2022, 10:43:28 PM
It wasn't been clear yet that we are ending the bear season as the declining trend still dominating the market. Buying is really the best option to take but I won't take those lists that you have OP, I'll pick different coins.

As this bear season continuous, we have to be smart in picking coins to invest and if I were you, I'd rather just choose Bitcoin and a few leading altcoins, not those who have just been created for hypes as these coins will give you higher recovery assurance which I think this is very important at this current condition.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 18, 2022, 02:06:15 PM
Quote
Devin Haney is not capable of hurting Kambosos.
This is a huge statement, Haney can knock out his opponent, so Kambasos can also be knocked out because he is a human. LOL.
But anyway, I got to respect your opinion and good luck with your bet.

He may actually hurt Kambosos Jr. but I don't think he will knock him out, so there is a very high probability that this fight will end up in the judges' scorecards. Haney is not really a knockout artist. In his last 5 fights, he failed to knock out even one of them. So in terms of taking points, Kambosos Jr. can fairly match Haney. And I also think that it would become a significant factor that Kambosos Jr. is fighting in his backyard. Loud cheers from your countrymen can boost morale.

I think it's Kambasos who should hurt Haney for him to win. Yes, Haney may not be able to knock out Kambasos, but if Haney is winning by points, then this fight will be easily won by him. It's an aggressive fighter(kambasos) vs the technical fighter, usually the technical fighter wins.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 18, 2022, 01:24:30 PM
Wow what happened to Jayson Tatum last night after the second half. 22 points in the first half then essentially disappearing after that. Jimmy Butler looks determined to make this series his. As a Chicago Bulls fan and someone who watched Jimmy grow in to the type of player he is today, was one heck of a performance to set the tone for the series!
He has some history in the Bucks series that Jason Tatum struggles with, he is not as consistent as Butler but he is indeed a great player. Well, Heat won but they are playing against an undermanned team, so I would not give full praise to that win. Let's see in game 2 if the Heat could repeat the same.
1672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So Many Exchanges out there on: May 17, 2022, 11:17:14 PM
What I advise you to do right away is to read reviews about exchangers. Do not forget that very often they can cheat, and then the "commission" for the operation will be too high.
Then we have to use well-known and reputable exchanges for we are sure that our funds are safe but I'm very certain that we can't escape from KYC. Most of these centralized exchanges asking for it, decentralized gives us an option not to do it but somehow, many of dexes can't be trusted which is an issue and risk of using them.

Well, commission fees and transaction fees really matter upon choosing an exchange. Will, of course, we have to choose those who have small fees and can provide higher security level as well.
1673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: May 17, 2022, 10:57:08 PM
Indeed, buying now was a great idea. You don't need to wait @OP for the price to drop more as we certainly don't know, but what we have to anticipate is the upcoming pump. If we really have a plan for investing in crypto, this is the right time to start with. This huge correction will not be taking longer, prices will rally back slowly as the demand increases as well.

We just to keep in mind that "only invest the money that we can afford to lose" and "only invest potential coins". In this way, we are making our assurance for better outcomes.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 17, 2022, 02:32:54 PM
It was a really lovely game by Mavericks which was very helpful for them to simply destroy Suns in the seventh game of the series. Who would have thought that they would defeat Suns this much easy? I didn't think so even for once. I was hoping to watch a very competitive game. But Mavericks were much better than them when it comes to the team play. There was zero player who got 20+ points for Suns. And I loved Doncic's amazing effort once more.
That was the surprise that most of us didn't expect to happen, I would say it's normal if Dallas won by a few margin, but game 7 was a total dominant, the hype for the Suns are gone now and Warriors are hype more. I like the playoffs now, lots of surprises and it's very hard to predict on what team will win in the Finals.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 17, 2022, 01:43:52 PM
Jalen Brunson is really different compared to when Luka is paired with Dennis Smith Jr. and Kristap Porzingis. It's a good decision that the Mavericks traded these players as they were "orb-effect" to Luka. (DOTA term Cheesy)
Haha. So true.
About Dinwiddie, I am a fan back at Nets when he was the one carrying the team with the support of Harris while their 2 stars are injured. Consistency is his problem because he was not given the right break. Now is his time to show what he is really meant to do. He had the playmaking skills and the agility to attack the paint, I won't rely too much on shooting outside since the Warriors don't really have a shot blocker.
If Luka will be defended by Wiggins or Klay, it will all be up to their roleplayers to step up. No disrespect to Steph Curry's defense but the Mavs should attack more if he is the one defending.

Luka will never be defeated, his type of play is very unstoppable,  the more he gets pressured, the more he gets better. Actually, the problem of Mavs on the Suns series on why they loss some games is the inconsistency of his teammates, but Luka was always there to produce.
1676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 16, 2022, 11:39:37 PM
Agree. It is likely to drop more to $20k before the next pump in the bullish period. We have BTC halving in 2024, the next bullrun probably happens in 2025. But we don't know how it will be exactly, our prediction may be not accurate (wrong).
You're right, mate. Even though we can analyze and predict prices based on history and also the fundamentals that are happening, it can still be wrong. There is a possibility that the price could still drop to $20K as the market is really crashing right now and so far there has been no significant recovery.

I also think that the next bullrun period might occur in the range of 2024 to 2025. The 2024 halving might affect the interest of traders and investors to buy bitcoin again.
I don't think we need to depend on history, the market seems going far from what it did before. It moves differently and also the investors did.
Apparently, we still have the assurance for the price roll up but that is just when this bear market end and the question is when? The market just playing from $29k-$31k, buyers may take this chance in preparation for the next halving. In this way, the price will seem to increase as the demand meets high.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Suns/Mavericks) on: May 16, 2022, 03:15:53 PM
2 days from now, we will know the winner of the Suns vs Mavericks game, I like to read your advance insights on the upcoming WCF.

Warriors are back again, if they'll face the Suns, I think they'll be the underdog, but if they'll face the Mavericks, they are the obvious favorites.
Cheer for your team now, what team do you think will be in the NBA Finals?

As someone who has been cheering for GSW ever since 2016, my money is with them throughout this palyoff run!

I really think that Warriors has the capability of winning this playoffs given the nature of their experiences, individual skillset, group chemistry, and great shooting. While Curry may be somehow inconsistent in this run, with the return of Klay it somehow solidified their position as a contender for this playoffs. I just think that with the support Curry has with the surrounding talent he got with his teammates, and Wiggins getting consistent, GSW has the potential of winning!

Betting on a team who did and became a back-to-back champion few years ago is certainly not a bad idea at all, especially when they still have that strong line-up who doesn't change at all mainly the Splash Brothers. Now there's some new additional asset on the team including Jordan Poole who made an impressive improvement in the past months of the regular season.

yeah, Poole has really improved this season, he can be the most improved player if Morant was not there. But even if he didn't win, he showed the management and the fans that he is worthy of the minutes the coaching staff have trusted him. His 3-point shooting is good, and not only that, he can also attack the paint because he is very quick.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 16, 2022, 01:26:00 PM
Elon is only good if the market is bullish, why? because he is good in hyping the market, now that it's bearish, his charm will not work. And you know what? I think Elon Musk is very much ready to buy the dip and accumulate the coins that he would pump in the bull season, easy money for him because he has the influence but he will use it at the right time.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA be recovered ever? on: May 15, 2022, 11:29:35 PM
With or without recovery, Luna has caused huge damage to the market and sent many investors into despair even there have been many reports of many suicides because of investing in Luna. Luna is the worst ponzi project in the history of crypto what it caused is worse than bitcoinnect 2018 brought. It has lost investors' confidence and whether it comes back or not, I hope people stay away from it now so they don't have to suffer another similar pain.
And I would say it was hopeless to think it will recover as for sure nobody would buy them if they will turn back. With the damages that it brings to the community and the trust that has been destroyed, it is definitely hard to gain it back again.
Terra Luna is one of the scam projects that exist, something we need to be careful in choosing the project to invest in as it even was listed to reputable exchanges still not the assurance to be safe. In fact, Binance is also a victim of their actions and exit scam tricks.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 13, 2022, 08:45:59 PM
Put your bets guys as both games may also end their series.
Warriors -7.5. That actually hurts as it almost says they are going to win this game. I do think they will but I wish the spread will be covered too.
Bucks -2.5. This one is unpredictable as the Celtics are not to be messed with even at Bucks's homecourt. Their last 3 games are all close enough that will make you worry if the spreads can be covered. Anyway, going for the home team and I feel Bobby will be making the crowd loud again that would mess up the Celtics game.

Not sure if the Warriors can cover that spread though, it was a devastating lost they had from Memphis. So for sure Memphis will try to get a jump again as this is the trend in the last 2 games.

The line for Bucks has drop to 1.5 at 1.94, I think this is a good line already. For sure Bobby will try to ignite the crowd on their side.

Every time a team is playing a close out game and they are at home, I think it's nice to back on them as they are more motivated to play. In the case of the Bucks, they are the defending champ, they did won on the road, so they should finish the series today and be back again in the ECF.

The Bucks are the defending champions and one of the best teams this year. I don't think it was expected that the series would even last that long. I thought it would be easier to overtake. However, the series has been extended and it is not yet clear which team will advance to the next round.
I think the Bucks will go to the next round with this game, the determination of the team that goes to the next round will not be left in the last game Smiley

Before the series, people thought that Bucks have no match against the Celtics because they don't have Middleton, but look what happened, they are even ahead in the series and have a chance to end the series tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if they'll win, the kind of motivation they have, they don't easily give up, so they'll give a big fight at home to win.
