OP seems to of gone very quiet.  Cheesy
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite on: August 21, 2013, 06:42:02 PM
initially he only mined 500,000 prior to launch.

Where's this false rumour sprung up from now? Who starts this rubbish?
2663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do You Think The Price of Bitcoins Will Go Down To $5.00? on: August 21, 2013, 11:44:40 AM
What goes up must come down.

Doesn't seem to work with the price of petrol & diesel though.
2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite on: August 21, 2013, 08:38:50 AM
Hypocrites leading new-comers astray by slanderizing premined coins, and new-comers then invest in non-preminted coins?

But wait a minute, the new-comers who do that, then embark and join and become hypocrites themselves, because they likely bought bitcoins which was a premine.....

That is why I am saying: Don't be a hypocrite.

So whether you support a premine like bitcoins, or whether you support hypocricy, its up to you, and I agree let people do what they want. After all, its their money, isn't it. Therefore, don't slander the premines and fool the new-comers into thinking that premine is so terrible when in fact bitcoins is a premine. You just turn the newcomers into hypocrites.

Don't be a hypocrite.

*Chuckle*, your funny.

Giving everyone a lecture droning on about slandering coins, yet decide to cook up some slanderous lies yourself about Bitcoin being premined. LOL  Cheesy

Hypercritical indeed. Maybe you should practise what you preach...
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite on: August 21, 2013, 08:02:11 AM
Satoshi pre-mined a million coins before he/she released Bitcoin and the people who go after pre-mined coins completely ignore that fact.

*facepalm* for not doing some simple blockchain analysis.

Just google "Fukuashima spent fuel pools" and you'll get plenty of info and predictions from nuclear experts

If the pools collapse, thousands of tons of nuclear material will be laying on the ground completely exposed, nothing to contain the radiation.

At the moment they are safe, as they are filled with water keeping the fuel assemblies cool and radiation contained. But it will take years and years to remove the fuel out of harms way.
2670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Short Japan with bitcoin on: August 10, 2013, 05:31:49 AM
I want to go short Japan...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Njp8bKpi-vg

Any ideas on how that can be done with Bitcoin?

Japan is finished. It's debt problems are tiny compared to what's going on at Fukushima.
When those spent fuel pools in Fukushima inevitability crash to the ground, the whole of Japan will be uninhabitable, as will most of the planet.
I'm amazed there is so little news coverage.
2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] SCRYPT HARD FORK BLOCK ON 256000 on: August 06, 2013, 09:35:47 PM
It needs some thinking about but I reckon this would be more palatable to most and still achieves what you need.

What exactly is suppose to be achieved?

The only reason OP wants to fork is so he can mine some easy Bitcoins. At the moment he can't mine jack, and butthurt about it.  Cheesy
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] SCRYPT HARD FORK BLOCK ON 256000 on: August 06, 2013, 06:10:37 PM
I am creating a new fork of Bitcoin that will use Scrypt for hashing on block 256000.
The initial difficulty for scrypt will be 1 to give miners a chance at reliving the good old days of Bitcoin.

Difficulty 1. Yes, sounds much more secure.

*facepalm*
2673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] SCRYPT HARD FORK BLOCK ON 256000 on: August 06, 2013, 04:14:25 PM
Scrypt is more secure. ASICs cannot 51% Scrypt.

At the moment...
2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Buy Porn with Alt Coins on: August 06, 2013, 07:47:11 AM
Porn is free....

so are cryptos.......

I paid for my gear, and, I don't have free power....

porn producers also pay to have the porn produced...no?

and if no one pays to watch porn then what happens to the industry?...eventually no free porn for anyone.

People upload their own porn to numerous online sites. Free to watch plus it's not fake like most porn films.
2675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Failed Coins - Don't Panic on: August 04, 2013, 03:21:43 PM
Wasn't tenebrix the first scrypt coin?  I certainly know it wasn't litecoin.

Yes
2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the maximum number of bitcoins will decrease over time on: August 01, 2013, 07:19:25 PM
Yeah they are easy to lose. But they are also very easy to backup in multiple locations, so you don't lose them.
2677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dying coins on: August 01, 2013, 04:34:04 PM
as far as i know although its not confirmed, they are to be made into a coin mixing service but somehow unspendable, e.g. in the coin's code it somehow works like this: coins are sent to a specified address and that address auto sends some new coins back, although i am not sure. Cgminer should work with tenebrix although i cannot confirm it myself since i dont have a gpu to mine. Although as some people have heard im working on a new tenebrix client as the old one wont work at all, to allow people to solo mine and if all goes to plan add it to my pool collection and allow people to pool mine, i also until a few weeks ago had tenebrix included in my IRC faucet bot in the #crypto-expert, #digitalcoin, #bytecoin, #tenebrix channels for people to get various free coins

EDIT: im sure you all can see on my various pools that i dont even have a hashrate listed, all i make my money from is pool fees and the trading of these fees

i use cgminer to mine tenebrix

So your the one who's been pushing the difficulty up recently.

Linux is very stable. Was running my rig without a reboot for over 9 months, no sweat. I had to power it down for a few hours last week though because of an electrical storm. I'll have to start my uptime all over again.

Should I wear Google Glass and put a GPS chip under my skin so investors don't lose confidence?

There isn't any confidence to lose in the first place.
