The price of mining machines is about to rise. Now the prices of machines are very low. Is it a good time to buy?

What makes you think they will rise.  Adore and more people can't sustain theor operation at a loss more equient will come up for sale with less and less people looking to buy.  Simple supply and demand will prove out that prices should fall over time.  Easy equation tells you in a bear or falling prices hardware drops too, bull market arrives (confirmed bulls) then prices start to rise, as long as thearket is static with no new equipment.

I mean at this point if you haven't sold off then safe to assume  you got hammered.  Is it worth getting what little left is left of your initial layin is up to each person.  For bitcoin naw not worth selling.  For complete crap coins, probably good to just cut ties before it goes to zero.

INO stands for — Initial NFT Offering

You are welcome.

Is NFT initial offering really a thing?  Seems like the ultimate ponzi if you ask me.  Nfts with crappy are and do little to nothing in tes of providing anything that already isn't in the market now.  Can someone explain to me why people continually pile money into nfts other than hoping someone else buys it for more than they did?  Serious question.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2022, 06:02:17 PM
I don't think it will be that bad since its Brown and draft picks. Yes he's an important part of the team but replacing him with KD would not totally disrupt the team rhythm since the Celtics still have the role players. This could actually play out well for the team in the short term. Tatum will most likely continue to be the team facilitator because we know Durant isn't a ball hog and has no problem moving without the ball.

Brooklyn Nets are not dumb to just take Brown and the future draft picks.

They want to maximize as much as they can the good trade package they can get from Kevin Durant. It's not just Brown but for sure Nets are also asking for more which includes the key players of the Boston Celtics and might be, Jayson Tatum too.

I hope Nets won't get a trade package deal to trade Durant. This is to give Durant a problem and a lesson as well. If that happened, Durant will play on the Nets even he don't like it or not. Or the worst case, if the Nets didn't find any good trade package but are eager to trade Durant, they will end up trading him with a small package.

As soon as the Nets say taytum Celtics are hanging up.  Taytum is the future of Boston basketball even if they get Durant.  Giving up taytum in any package is going to make them a worse team.  I can see brown going and a couple picks.  Durant has 4 years on his contract its not like they only get em for a year or 2.  Someone is going to have to shed a lot of assets if they want him.

Even Celtics are willing to give up Brown and a couple of future draft picks, that's not enough for the Nets to agree with trading Durant. I'm sure the Nets want Jayson Tatum too. The reason I say that future draft picks are not a priority for the Nets since they already even gave up their own draftees when they signed Durand and Irving.

The Nets clearly want a big name too and Brown doesn't even on the same tier as Durant. Let's wait what will happened.

At this point with career paths I'm sure Boston would say no for a straight Durant and taytum swap.  Taytum is the future and Durant will be on the downturn.  There are a couple untouchables in the league and taytum is one of them.  What does Boston have if they get rid of taytum and brown and only get back Durant.  They running Durant and Marcus Smart out there lol

Teams are still still actively pursuing Durant, the last time I check is Phoenix, Heat and Utah.
Phoenix cannot afford Durant now that they resigned Ayton. Utah is still a possibility, but I doubt Durant has interest in Utah once they trade Donovan Mitchell. Miami may be the only suitor for Durant if they could get a deal done that doesn't include Jimmy Butler or Bam.

I doubt Utah wants Durant they would have to give up all the picks they just got from Minnesota.  Utah is in full tank mode trying to get as many picks as they can like okc did to start from scratch.  Durant doesn't move the needle for them they gave up once they traded gobert.

Durant for Mitchelle, is it possible? if this will happen then Utah Jazz will become a better team, they have a good scorer, a clutch one and they have a good defense, but I think the chance of this happening is very low.

About Durant getting traded to the Heat, I think Heat will lose more role players and probably one of their stars, if the Heat will choose between Butler and Bam, Bam might be put on a trade.

No way Utah does that.  They are in full tank mode.  Why get Durant and surround him with nothing.  They want picks and young talent to build around a LA okc.  I have a feeling they are tanking to go all in on the vicor wembanyama sweepstakes in the draft next year.  It's a pick haul or they will keep donovan to deal him at the deadline with a fringe team looking for a boost and desperate.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 11:16:52 PM
If Crawford will work under Mayweather, then he could probably improve his defense which will give him more edge in this fight.

That's for sure as Mayweather is the best defensive boxer, and a Hall of Famer, but I hope the will not be taught how to be boring, LOL. I'm really excited about this fight, but until now, it's still not declared that it's official, so what's the real score here?
And besides, Crawford has a perfect defense already, no need to learn new tricks at this point on his career. We can say that it's already perfect as no one has beaten him. Not sure though what his association with Floyd as they have been seen in public together?

Again, at this point, no final word from both camps, so we don't know what is the real score whether negotiations is continuing or has stop already.

Yeah Floyd's and crawfords style are 2 different and don't mesh.  Floyd was the king of knowing how not to get hit.  Crawford wants to beat you into submission.  His defense is his offense.  Agreed he hasn't lost yet so why mess with his style at this point.
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 25, 2022, 08:00:56 PM
This week Matic has increased by more than 30%, this makes me even more excited to store automatic, especially the more Top Dex and developers who continue to use the automatic network so that I'm sure the price of $ 20 can be reached a maximum of a year from now.
30 percent was a decent gain. Maybe the effects of the news about whales buying matic have start to kick in but about that dexes. Yes they are definitely going to add matic on their platforms because the eth fees are still high while there are those coin developers that produce projects under the matic network as people are also looking for alternatives next to bsc and other lighter chains because there might be congestion and increase in the fees that will be experienced. Despite all of these positive acts, I still don't think that matic can reach 20 usd in a short period of time. I really don't know why.

Quote
this makes me even more excited to store automatic. who continue to use the automatic network
Automatic? I think that's a different coin already you're talking there. Polygon's second name is only matic, not automatic.

It might not hit in a short period of time but that's just the market we are in.  Given a full on bull market I'm thinking it could easily hit $20 so long as other major coins are pumping.  I think now is a good time to stock up while it's sitting under a dollar.

Hello,
Is Terra Classic scam or does it have a chance of success?

Thank you.

No why would you ever put your money back into something that got annihilated.  It's not going to survive.  It's basically hanging around only because of people speculating in it.  I'd steer clear.
2690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 07:49:34 PM

Let's skip for now the discussion about the issue of being "delayed" on any information or updates regarding this fight.

What's your input and feedback guys about Danny Garcia's recent statement that Errol Spence Jr. is too strong for Terence Crawford. When we say "too strong" it means he views the fight as a landslide victory in favor of Spence. I respect his view and even though I'm looking forward to Spence winning at this mega-bout, saying Spence is too much for Crawford is like underestimating the latter.

Errol Spence "too strong" for Terence Crawford says Danny Garcia

I guess if there is one boxer that we can take his opinion, that is Shawn Porter Jr. He has fought both fighters in their prime. And mind you, Porter beat Danny Garcia so we all know what level Danny Garcia is, hehehe.

In any case, if you seen Spence in his last fight against Ugas, yeah he is really strong, he even talks about moving up in 154 lbs wherein I think Crawford can't make that weight without sacrificing anything (speed, height, power). I guess it goes down as to who has the better IQ and good chin in this fight.  Smiley

Well he can't sacrifice height 😅, but i get what you are saying.  Crawford is perfect for his weight class, at this point of his career there is no need to move up in weight class.  Some people's body afford for jumping up and down in classes but Crawford is at the end of his career why would he want to do that unless it's for one last fight to sneak in one more class before he splits.

He could move up in weight class if he can beat Spence, well, just like Canelo, when he became an undisputed champion, he sees there was no challenge anymore so he tries to move up but failed in his first attempt. Who knows, maybe Crawford could think of that after success in this possible fight.

https://www.boxingnews24.com/2022/07/bob-arum-doubts-terence-crawford-vs-errol-spence-fight-happens/

This could actually be a thing.  With both fighters probably wanting a guaranteed purse piracy could definitely eat into possible ppv numbers.  $80 is a bit of s stretch.  Like the article said $20 fights would combat piracy, because it's cheap enough to just buy it then deal with trying to stream it from a reliable source.

Guys research about muuinu it's now most potential memecoin with huge Utilities like Muuwallet (Multichain), MilkCultNFTs, Muuswap and many more coming. Low marketcap just near 500K. Dev team is working behind this token. legit and based team. May be future is bright

Meme coins hold zero value.  They had their run in 2021 it's over.  And this is a terrible market to speculate on complete crap coins.  Most likely just end up losing your money, why do people keep putting their money into this stuff lol.
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 25, 2022, 01:59:54 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

Why not both?  People always scream one way or another, and in reality both people are right.  Diversifying between asset classes is always the smart play.  Reduces your downside risk being in just one, while being able to catch any raises in another.  Not which one, it's both.

2695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 24, 2022, 03:54:17 PM
Wow James Harden did it. He declined the 47 million dollars option in his existed contract and made a new one for 33 million dollars. Only to give Philadelphia 76ers room to get better players. I've written it before but once it is almost official, I still can't believe it. This is so cool! I don't remember anyone who does that before 35 years old. And for the 2023 - 2024 season he has an option for 35 million. Especially after this development, I really wish 76ers can get some good players and have a solid team and get to at least conference finals this season. With Embid and Harden, they have a very good core. Just need some role players that they can depend on. It seems like they will be the team I will be rooting for this season? Yes, almost there.

I don't think many basketball players would accept a salary cut to benefit their team. The sacrifice he made is really nice, I hope it will be of use to the team. Harden is still one of the best players in the league, and in fact, by refusing that money, he will probably stay a star player for a few more seasons.
He had enough problems last season already and we thought he was going to play in Philadelphia Smiley

There are only a few who do that in order to make their team better, James Harden is a good example though. Well, he is reach enough because had some huge contract in the past and if he utilize his money well, then money is not a problem for him now.

Don't kid yourself Harden wasn't getting another big contract after this one.  It just stretches out the money for him, he isn't taking a pay cut so to speak.  The second year is his option too so if somehow he has an mvp type year he can leverage it to even more by opting put then resigning.  It's just posturing himself he is no "savior" lol.
2696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: July 23, 2022, 08:42:50 PM
Arguably, the most significant driver of Bitcoin value is its future price speculation. There have been several speculations of BTC price by top crypto influencers, while some have come to pass but it appears that the 100k price milestone appears elusive.

The $60k prediction came to pass but BTC has since lost more than 65% of its ATH price.

Do you think that BTC will ever rise to and above 100k in the near future? Wil it be before or after the next Bitcoin halving or this price would never come?

What's your opinion?

Probably should post this in bitcoin and not altcoin speculation but in general yeah.  I don't think anyone doesn't see 100k in bitcoins future.  So it lost a significant value.  Go look at all past rises and falls.  It always comes out significantly higher than the last time.  My guess is next run floats bitcoin up to 200-300k.
2697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin vs Sandbox on: July 23, 2022, 08:40:42 PM
If you had to choose one, would it be Ape or Sand ?

Odd couple but ok let's do this:

Apecoin basically another ex coin, they are a dime a dozen some might hitost of them will falter.  Sand, story has yet to be told on metaverse coins.  I mean they were starting to run at the end of the last bull run.  Will they drive the next one who knows.  Why not just stick your money in btc for now and see which one survives if any then stick your money into it.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 23, 2022, 08:34:00 PM
Well for those who want to hear what Crawford says about this fight,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y2CufWpkw8

And I would say that I will be positive that this fight is going to happen sooner than we all think. By the way I read Spence expressions and body language, there have been talks in the background that he can't tell right now because they are still working on it.

Thanks for the link, yeah if u read between the lines it's probably just the business side that needs to be worked out.  Can't remember a fight in the last 3-4 years that I wanted to see than this one.  Haven't bought a ppv in a bit if they announce this one I'm buying it.  Should be a dog fight.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34272709/san-francisco-49ers-give-jimmy-garoppolo-agents-permission-seek-trade-sources-say

And there it is Jimmy is on the block, San Fran fully going with trey Lance this year.  Trying to think best landing spots for Jimmy.  Honestly the Seahawks could use Jimmy for a year and what better way to stick it to your rival than to go to Seattle.  Problem is I don't think San Fran will sign off on that.  What teams ya'll think would be Jimmy's best landing spot?

Yeah this really just seemed inevitable. Seattle is definitely imo the best place he could end up and the team who needs his services the most, but as you point out the Niners are not going to be keen to sending their division rival someone who could help them compete against them.  Had Washington not gotten Wentz that would have been a good landing spot. The Falcons definitely need a QB. Would you want him in NY?

Nope.  If Danny dimes doesn't do anything this year giants will probably be in the toilet bowl again and next years qb class has got a couple ringers.  I'd rather they draft then go for Alex Smith 2.0

That’s a good point I don’t know what I was thinking even suggesting or questioning it. He offers very little upside long term and is likely to only get you maybe a win or two more than current QB , plus I guess you gotta give Danny d one more go at it just to be sure (but let’s be honest he’s a backup somewhere sooner than later).

I also have never known NFL games to be free on the NFL App.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all.  It's honestly a perfect situation in that if he sucks they get a high draft pick in a loaded qb class needing a qb.  If he shows he is the starter for the next 3-5 years then great that was the goal anyway.  Either this is another season as a giant fan where ima just enjoy my fantasy team 😂
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 23, 2022, 08:18:25 PM
Word on the street is that the Lakers just offered Jamal Crawford a 1-year contract. Crawford is one of the best sixth man to ever play in the NBA and a relentless scorer. I could see him coming off the bench for a few good moments when they need a bucket. He’s old, but many NBA players were surprised he didn’t have a contract last year, as he’s still one of the better players in the league.

Hmm, not sure about this though, is the Lakers not learned from last year's debacle? I mean getting old and veterans players? and it didn't click right?

No doubt that Crawford can play and one of the best cross over during his prime, but I'm not sure if they still need a guy like him and to be a scorer? He is not a good defender as well so honestly, I will be baffled if they get him.

As a knick fan I love me some Jamal Crawford but I tend to agree.  There are plenty of vets that can still ball but in the backcourt position if you are a step slow on defense than in your earlier years it diminishes your value.  Outside of a select few this is a young man's game and I want mobile guards for sure.  Lakers trying to do anything they can if they sign Crawford up.
