GREAT IDEA
1) So the USD would be deposit to this account...by wire transfer or western union etc...
2) to withdraw USD IBC would wire money to the recipient...so they will still be wiretransfer delays & fees
Edit: would this require serious manpower?
Online Banking has made these transfers very easy, just make sure the Belize Bank you choose offers it. Actually, the bank account does not even have to be with a Belize Bank as long as you find a bank that would be willing to open an account for the IBC and NOT you. It could be in any country... plus the IBC can offer deposits through an online payment service through its merchant account and customers will be able to deposit even with their Debit/Credit Cards. If income is earned outside Belize, there is NO TAX. Pls explain more how we can do this in a decentralized way ASAP....thank you....also trust how to fix that edit: we still need to trust the person doing the transfers I can't think of how a gateway could be decentralized. If there were many gateways and a uber-issuer that spread across multiple gateways, it could approximate that, but it starts getting very complicated. Did I mention peercover is already a USD gateway. Right now. No need to wait for asset exchange. This is why I know that using ripple gives NXT a strategic edge. All of the fiat regulation is dealt with by the ripple gateways. Any NXT/fiat gateway would need to do all the same sort of things anyway James What is needed in order to see NXT/USD in Peercover? NXT/BTC? I am talking about volumes, I may try to set up a market there tomorrow..

Oh god, actually there are some donors with way more than the initial 4 million. Apparently five donors who made a bigger BTC contribution received 50 MILLION Nxt, are you kidding me Nxt zombies!?!??!! Where is the future value when these people own literally 1000's of BTC worth of Nxt. As soon as the price starts to rally up, guess who will be pooping all over you? Will you still chant your rhetoric that Nxt donors deserve thousands of BTC for their single figure BTC donation. LOL.
Get me the hell away from this scam. eMunie looks like a much safer bet. At least there is a proper economic model tied to it and it isn't written in java... Let alone the amount of work that has gone into it.
wtf man you are so idiot lol

Announcing the MyNxt.info block explorerhttp://www.mynxt.info/blockexplorerI thought it would be good to have another option for a block explorer. This one is simpler than the existing block explorer and I intend to keep it this way, but I think it is useful for most tasks. Features: - block details - account details - transaction details - latest blocks - latest transactions I will be adding block/account/transaction search functionality later today. It is still pretty much alpha software, I am playing with some of the parameters and changing things but I would appreciate if people could take a look and give me feedback. Let me know if you find any problems/bugs/etc. Search functionality is now working! I'll add some more features tomorrow. Good job!

@CfB, Appreciate what the team is doing. Since someone is managing the sizeable unclaimed genesis funds, can I suggest stakeholders who want to help but are unable to do so directly for lack of time, skills or other reasons be allowed to channel donations into this fund. There will be no extra work for the fund manager, just more available resources. If that's OK, I'll be the first to send the 1M Nxt pledged for s/w dev but currently sitting idle. I sent you another donation ricot for your amazing work
+1 We need guys like him in our team. Hey, big stakeholders, do u hear me? I'm not a stakeholder, but I'll give 250k. I would suggest hitting up bybitcoin, Noitev, and buybitcoinscanada. They all seem to have an interest in helping the community. Problem is only them, me and neer.g (maybe one two more I forget) do so...

It is a very good step forward though PoW coins (XCP will use BTC blockchain) will soon become obsolete IMHO. I wish you could do the same thing in a 100% PoS chain..

I dumped mine, not because I was mad at those mean greedy 'ole early adopters who risked BTC when no when else would and now have the gall to not just hand their coins out (sarcasm in case you couldn't tell) but because the source code was finally released and word is it is a mess.
I must provide a bit of a correction as I have been following the code review thread and your statement about the source code being a mess does not hold water. The fact of the matter is the code that was released on the 3rd had 3 purposely placed security flaws placed in it and the individuals to find them will receive a bounty. As of last night, when I last viewed the thread, not one flaw had been discovered yet, and like I said, there are 3 there on purpose. We're talking 3 flaws on purpose (bugs are a completely different thing and are unavoidable in coding - right Microsoft? lol) and experienced developers are having trouble finding them. Now, if we are discussing how the code looks, that is completely irrelevant as now you are getting into a discussion of form before function and vice versa. I take function over form any day. Trust me, I have fired the best code // commenters in the world. Here's a simple fact, BCNext managed to do what Bitcoin Network does with approx. 4,000 (out of 6,800) lines of java. Many have reported bad experiences with using Dgex. I wished they had not happened. While I really dislike the exchange for its features and user interface, I'd like to share that I have traded several million Nxt through this exchange since the day there were launched - with not a single problem. All withdrawals were delivered (within their stipulated time frame) and all arrived safely.
Having said that, I join all other users in stating my displeasure over the way they increased fees without any notice.
+1
