2701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: January 03, 2022, 09:52:10 PM

Greed and lack of learning are what keep scam going.

I agree with you on this. Most people want to make millions from a little Investment. That's why they keep talking into the trap of scammers, and end up losing their money. Those scammers understands that many people are blind by Greed and also they lack patience. So, they trick them with mostly investment platform, telling them to invest and earn high profit. And One thing I notices about scammers is that they try to convince you into believing that they are legit.
This is why we need to keep our expectations in check, it is very easy to think that we could invest in a coin and then multiply our capital by 100x or more, but this is very uncommon, most of the stories we hear in the market are of people losing their money, however many people believe that something like that is not going to happen to them, and once it does they believe it is unfair that it did, when they are the ones that failed to take responsibility for other actions and did not protected themselves as much as they should have.
And this is where people do make out some self realization on when on the time that they do fucked up themselves on the time that they had faced out the reality then its commonly that people would be having
this kind of reaction and this is where learning do comes from on the time that you would experience unfortunate things which is really a very common thing.
Having your common sense intact most of the time will surely save up your ass on something like this on where you do mind off about easy money doesnt exist on the first place.
You should realize on how reality works and you wont really be messing out yourself.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 03, 2022, 08:51:44 PM

The two boxers will definitely beat their enemies to death because they really don't want to lose again because if I'm not mistaken they lost to their opponents in the last match.
This will be interesting but I totally agree with you because I think Thurman will definitely be better now

I'm sure they will, the hardest for a boxer is to win a comeback fight from a big fight, they badly needed this win to get into contention again, they must their demons and their struggle to comeback because both have frustrations from their last fight on Barrios getting knock out by Davis and Thurman losing a decision against Pacquiao, Barrios will have a huge struggle because he is fighting a guy who has good ring generalship power and experience, having both the best in the welterweight division.
they must destroy the doubts from within themselves at this time due to the defeat in the previous game.
besides practicing with more leverage will make them much stronger.
Honestly, I like these two boxers because they both have good vision at the moment.
now their match is just counting the days depending on how ready they are both in terms of training and mentally because now it is certain that the strong will win

Just for the record, both of them are coming from a big lost so not sure what do you mean by having a good vision?

Either way, only one of them would have to move in their career if they won this fight. And most likely as the boxing fans here favoured, it will be Thurman, although he lost to Manny Pacquiao, he could have recovered already from that pain and could be looking to put his name again in the welterweight division.

He will, and he already rested well to recover and to start his journey again. The champions in the Welterweight have to consider Thurman as a big threat to them, he only loses once and that is against MP, so he is still a good fighter that could become a champion again.

Barrios? I'm not underestimating him but I don't see him having a chance to beat Thurman.
They would really see Thurman as a threat and if ever they do really make out some underestimation then they shouldnt because this guy is indeed capable and strong and its true or they should
mind that this guy only lost once on his entire career and if you do look up on technicalities on how this dude fights then you could really say that this isnt something that you
should really be confident off.He might not able to fight for a while but doesnt mean that his boxing becomes rubbish.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: January 01, 2022, 09:55:15 PM
I want to start investing in early projects, and I want to ask if you buy coins on small exchanges? Is it safe? And to what extent are such exchanges protected from hacker attacks?

I am interested in such coins as nwc, cdt and mana, what do you think of these projects? Should you buy these coins?

I think every crypto investment has a high risk because big exchanges can't guarantee that their exchange is safe, as well as a small exchange. but we must be able to find a place that has a lower risk so that we feel safer. and the altcoins you mentioned are not popular so I don't know any information about them. so in my opinion please look for a better altcoin and be listed on coinmarketcap.
Nothing is safe in crypto world because anytime these platforms could turn out to be a scam or could be hacked or could be do all sorts of things which would results on losing money by its users but somehow dealing with known and reputable exchangers would give out that kind of confidence or assurance that you wont really be losing money. As a user then you should think up always about risks whether they are reputable
then its not really safe on storing up all your coins on an exchange. Its suicide yet you wont know on whats coming.

How much more on small exchangers? Most of them are listing shit coins and i dont see the point on considering to be safe. Im not generalizing but most of them are on the same situation.
2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 01, 2022, 09:09:31 PM
Apart from getting that passive income from bitcoin, it also helped me realize that there is more to money than just being spent and kept on banks. Bitcoin taught me how to handle my finances, and how to not willingly trust third party institutions such as banks when it comes to my own money. Overall, bitcoin helped me get some gigs I never thought I would be doing, and taught me lessons I never thought I would be needing.

It's great to hear that a fellow bitcoiner found gems when trying to learn about cryptocurrencies. Enjoy the great holidays that you have right there. I hope that aside from the monetary gains, you also find your way into financial literacy as well, just like I did.
Bitcoin have given us tal financial freedom and will to take control of our financial life, there is no gainsaying the benefits of bitcoin to us as an individual or community a lot of financial responsibility are now handled all with the help of Bitcoin it good to see threads like this the ops story is similar to that of many of us here.
It could really give out that kind of chance or benefit but of course it would really be still needing up that kind of effort which someone should really be putting on because you  wont really able to enhance your life
if you dont put up much effort on it thats why you shouldnt really be having that kind of wrong idea because you would still need to work hard for you to enhance yourself and not just thinking off
that you would upgrade your financial if you wont really be doing  something which its just normal that you would really be having that kind of mindset if you dont make use of your common sense.
Upgrade your life if you do work hard but if not then expectt that nothing happens.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: December 31, 2021, 07:04:20 AM
I expect that for the next years, gambling operators of both online casinos and brick and mortar casinos will be openly accepting Bitcoin bets. And not only that, the Lightning Network will definitely be utilized as well for a more convenient and generally smoother gambling experience.

It is also possibly a big thing in the next years that gamblers could already bet on blockchain game tournaments. For now, I cannot see odds on certain crypto matches. There will definitely be future tournaments on games built on blockchain and gamblers would be able to place their bets on certain teams and players.

Doubt that this will happen.

Most physical casinos are bound by really strict regulations that will likely not allow them to accept anonymous payment methods for AML purposes unless they are situated in a safe haven country.

There is much more value for mainstream online casinos/sportsbooks like Bet365 to accepting BTC though.

Perhaps it is more possible with the use of third party payment service providers. I guess a gambler in a brick and mortar casino could already swipe his Visa or Mastercard Bitcoin or crypto debit card. So it is also very possible that Bitcoin bets will be accepted in the near future but could also be processed in fiat first. So one could place bets in Bitcoin but the amounts to be registered in the casino books are in fiat value. The payout could also be made in Bitcoin.
There are actually fiat casinos now that accepts bitcoin but of course there would be some conversions would really be needed on fiat basis for you to play but for those sole crypto gambling platforms which do accepts coins
then there wont really problems about big industry move then no one really knows on what would next but we are really heading there whether there would be integrations which is much more simplier
concept or would be totally hard.
Lets see on how things would go on this years to come which is always uncertain.
2706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: December 31, 2021, 05:58:22 AM
I have come to realize that most of the real investment do look like scam. meanwhile the scam looks like the real once,50 percent of us  here have been scammed in one way or the other, But still yet we call ourselves good investors meanwhile we are investing into the wrong company. We really need to know the good and real trading company because they are all like the scam.Do you really know the difference?
Usually scam projects has a too good to be true offer that makes people dive into it for believing it is legit (majority of these investors are either lacking of knowledge or greedy).

Thus, to avoid the scam investment we need to do an extensive research before investing, much better to not invest if you dont know what you're getting into.

We're going to invest our hard-earned money so its better to be careful to avoid becoming a victim of scammers.
Too good to be true
Fast ROI
Fast way on getting rich
Easiest money making

These are the common indicators on which you could really say that you are dealing with a scam. Dont make yourself get fooled or let your greediness inside you
would take over or would control you because that would really be a big problem if you do that.

Research and be wise on taking decisions because once you do make a mistake then that would surely cost you.
2707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 30, 2021, 11:47:02 PM
I know most people expect Mike to destroy Logan and that is probably what we will see, all I am saying is that Logan winning is not 0%, I would still give him a 10% chance.
I'm one of them that expects Mike to easily beat Logan. But one lucky throw and he'll win and it's usually happening despite having a match with a former professional boxer and still on the nice shape to punch his opponent. 10% is not bad at all as a chance and yet we have no idea how the match would be ending. We must need to have the schedule of the match first assuming things.

Mike should be able to eat Logan up.  These kind of fights are getting tiring to watch though.  Very sloppy and only entertaining for about 5 minutes.  Let Logan fight a current professional and watch him get taken to town.  Anyone know the odds on the fight for this one?
Odds for this potential fight.
https://www.usaonlinesportsbooks.com/tyson-odds-grow-stronger-over-logan-paul-in-assumed-boxing-match-11-17-2021

Which it isnt surprising for Logan to be underdog. Who did really expect for him to be the favorites? LOL!
2708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really predict Bitcoin at this time on: December 30, 2021, 10:56:43 PM
I have listened and review to many market prediction, they are not correct.people are just saying there opinions at this time of the year about Bitcoin. Some will say it will come up another will say it not. So many discussion.
Who can decide the next phase of Bitcoin at this time.
Speculative market as you called which you could really expect that there are tons of speculations floating around because this market had been always a unpredictable one which means
that people would keep out on guessing on what would happen in the future. We wont really be predicting if this market is something could be predicted.Right?
This wont be called a speculative market on the first place if it was easy to know on where the prices could potentially go.For now the best thing you
do is to sustain yourself despite of these characteristics.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why should Gambling be legalized ? on: December 30, 2021, 10:17:25 PM
Those are the best examples of the pros for a casino.
However, some government especially here in my country has been controlling the entry of different kinds of casino. Instead, they only have to choose what casino could operate legally and from there, they'll get tax revenue a huge huge tax revenue as a complimentary gesture because the government didn't let any casino come in that will possibly become their competitor eventually.

Some kind of monopoly which it isnt surprising for some government to do so and in fact there are some which are government driven or owned casinos. Right?
Government would always be having that full control on which one and which not would be allowed and about legalization then for sure majority of them would
be thinking off about revenue which we know that it is always been a benefit but of course if the said officials would apply those taxes on right way
and wont be corrupted.
2710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk guesses who bitcoin's mysterious creator Satoshi Nakamoto is on: December 30, 2021, 09:47:23 PM
I do remember that there was one discussion here in this forum about Satoshi and Nick Szabo's writing style, and there were some examples too, but the post got flooded by 'skeptics' easily which led me to believe that maybe it is too far fetched for someone as genius as Satoshi to pin someone as the creator of bitcoin since that would be giving that someone some form of 'authority' over bitcoin, which he so despises.

Perhaps Elon could just go back to building rockets instead of using the media to gain attention once more. But at least his guess is somewhat sensible, so there's that.
Gaining or Getting attention is what i do believe on what he had been doing these things and we know that as long he do retains his exposure and awareness then that automatically
markets out his company and investments that he do have which is quite a wise thing to be done which it isnt really that surprising for that kind of motive or intent
on mind.

Speaking of breaking those mysteries on whose Satoshi is then this is the most hardest thing and i dont believe that this would be easily be cracked out.
We have seen lots of those self proclaimed satoshis and other investigations but all of those arent still get proved out.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 30, 2021, 08:55:47 PM
Yeah but OP has a different and reasonable explanation about it. He can simply unsubscribe if he's too annoyed with those.
I get and understand that there are customers that are thinking of their welfare and if the casino does that issue answered right away, the customer will keep on complaining despite the solution is already in front of him. The team just have to remove him from the automation of sending of their promotions.

That's the funny thing in this case. Instead of keeping himself away from the promotional email by using the unsubscribe feature or simply blocking the email from Stake, he prefer to create a new account and make a deposit to play after a long rest since the self exclusion. In my opinion, OP was aware what he did and he tried to test his luck after the rest but unfortunately he lost the new deposit then try to blame Stake for his new lost.
He's aware and he said that he's just recovering. And in that means, he should have avoided those promotional emails and made his initiative of blocking them.
Well, is there any update regarding on this complain by OP and if the stake team has excluded his email for the promos that they're going to send notifications through email of their users?
Dont know if this one is really that much of a serious issue knowing off that OP could just simply ignore this one and avoid things as much as he could but it turns out that he do really
wants to fight for his right which is actually not really a bad thing but for the hassle and time or effort spent then i dont see for it to be worth on doing so but since this is
on OP's decision whether he do really fights for his rights then so be it but for me then it isnt really necessary in doing so.
2712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 29, 2021, 07:48:20 PM
As investor you need to hodl your for any length you want to hodl your coin but the problem is that no coin can last for the hand of good investor for two years and mostly the altcoins because altcoins have the chances of giving off in between the time of hodling and when it falls before it rose may be another two years, the coins i know that can be hodl for long time and when year is running it still have values is Bitcoin and ethereum, you can hodl them for long time and when ever you want to sell you also sell it and make profit
Before making a decision to hold in the long term of course we have to determine a good coin for it,
as you said Bitcoin and Ethereum are suitable for that but I think there are other coins,
it depends on any research we do ourselves and in holding on to it for the long term patience is the key
Bitcoin is the most suitable to hold for long-term investment and you can add Ethereum on that plus BNB of course since I found it making some progress when bitcoin is in the bull run. Other than that is not good to hold for long-term but there are some altcoins that I like to invest and planning to hold for short-term only since they aren't that volatile unlike bitcoin and the other. Therefore, know or do your own research if what coins do you really want to invest for long-term except for bitcoin since it's recommendable to hold for long-term.
All matters with research and its up to yours whether which coin would be intended for holding in long term and which one would be good for short term basis and it all matters to you as an investor.
Holding isnt something simple as it sounds as this one requires extreme patience and controlling yourself on making out action whether you do sell early or sell on loss or something like that.
Its up to someones preference whether they do hold or actively trading basing up on their own discretion so its a choice and stick on what makes you comfortable with.
2713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why should Gambling be legalized ? on: December 29, 2021, 06:52:47 PM

What else do you think could be the benefits ??

Benefits could really be mainly in talks of revenue or in tax which we know that it could really be always beneficial on a certain country but we know that there are places on the world
which do bans or prohibits gambling and they dont mind about revenue or tax that it could possibly give which they could get on other various industries which we cant really blame
them off if they do want or like to protect their citizens from gambling addiction thats why decisions will vary on each government that handles out a particular country.
2714  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: December 29, 2021, 05:47:47 PM
If you're tired of banks, then you can "be your own bank" on the Bitcoin network, I'm not advising you move all of your funds into the network cause that will be investing more than you can afford to lose, but you definitely can put a large portion of it in Bitcoin, at least you'll be rest assured that the fraction in Bitcoin isn't controlled by any third party or governing body other than yourself, all you need to do is strengthen your security and make sure your coins are protected.

Mind you that it's not just you that's somewhat fed up, quite a lot of people are as well, there's been rising inflation that continues to threaten the economy, the value of fiat money is constantly deteriorating, and then the government are in absolute control and can freeze accounts and print money as they like, these reasons and a whole lot more has led a lot of people, including institutional investors to be their own bank via the Bitcoin network, since there is as yet no way for crypto to take over from banks/government, then it's up to individuals to take their finance into their own hands.

Exactly. There's no need to overtake banks, when Bitcoin already does its job well. It empowers people to be their own bank, by eliminating the middleman from the system. It's up to you to secure your Bitcoins from theft and/or hacks as much as possible. With how popular Blockchain technology has become, it should only be a matter of time before banks launch digital currencies of their own. Once that happens, Fiat will be in-par with crypto in terms of speed and efficiency. Knowing that governments still patronize banks, it's likely both crypto and Fiat will live alongside each other for generations. As long as decentralization prevails, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley
People are just getting too overhyped on things and ending up on thinking that banking system would really be overtaken with crypto without even trying to look on whats the crucial purpose or relevance of banks
existence and come to think that government is there and do you really think that they would let these things to happen? For sure they wont and they would really be
finding ways that crypto wouldnt really make out some significant effect nor stir up on the market which is something that they would definitely do.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: P2P gambling games - survey from creators on: December 29, 2021, 04:36:40 PM
The market will always need something new that will be different from others. If you can give that thing to people and make them curious about your site, I am sure they will come to test and see what the game is and how to play it. The market will always change because many new people come to the gambling business for so many purposes and want to make money from gambling. So if you can give different things such as interface, the games, the things that are new and not available in another place, your site will have a chance to grow.
But this one is the most challenging thing of all if someone do tend to make some business here on gambling space on which owners would really be thinking off new things and ideas which doesnt exist on this market
yet because we know that once people do find out for it to be interesting then there would really be a chance for it to be recognized and would really be having the chance to grow same as you said.
P2P is somewhat not really that appealing basing off with current condition but depending if this one will really be entirely different but based up on experience and awareness
then this is something that would be hard.
2716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: December 28, 2021, 11:46:39 PM
OP, I understand the angle you're taking the whole thing from. I feel your excitement, and I know it's genuine. Many a graduate who would've been jobless and penniless in my country are gainfully engaged online now because of what Bitcoin has exposed to us for a decade and they're earning from it. Apart from Bitcoin signature campaigns here which have afforded many families a kind of income source, there's also the indirect ripple effect which has dovetailed into other online crypto jobs and skilled people are earning from them. Most times when I reminiscent on the person of Satoshi, I feel he's truly a blessing to the world. He's truly a phenomenal.

Indeed! There are so many lives here that have been changed or improved by bitcoin or crypto.
If people will know how to use their skills to their advantage, they will find many opportunities here on how to augment their income.
Not only sig campaigns or bounty programs, but if they have other skill set like in programming, they can very well apply it.
Or some people are investing in valuable coins like staking coins or if you can afford, some are into mining.
We can say that it is only up to us how we will exhaust our options here in order to take this opportunity learning about crypto.

Including myself on which i had purchased my own car  and bought a house with crypto earnings which i could say that this isnt something that you could get or done
with just having a day job here on my country but bitcoin and other crypto did really make it possible which im really thankful and grateful that i had learnt up
this opportunity and it did changed up my life and i wasnt expecting that i would able to attain this condition on which i have able to get those
things which i havent been anticipated that it could be possible.
2717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: December 28, 2021, 10:38:02 PM
What is up with these display issues?  just signed up and blank screens trying to play..   i use chrome also firefox.

This happened to me most of the time but on mobile. I just clear cache and cookies the website and refresh multiple times then wait for few minutes to load the screen but once you already load the main page. You can browse already the casino easily even if you close then open it again. This display issue on some device happened sometimes happened but devs is already working on it.
Well, I also encounter this issue earlier when I was signed up and make an account on this casino, I did not even find the register button which I thought it is a bug or something like there is a problem with my browser. But later on, I discover a solution to that problem, just reduce the size of your monitor screen if you are using a PC, just find the 3 lines right side and click the zoom, the default zoom could be 100%, just set into 80% would be fine, you can see the whole home page of the casino.
It does work on trying to reducing the webpage on 80% which some users do experience it out above and resolved it out via reinstalling and clearing up cache but this one doesnt really need of that and directly
just minimizing the resolution which that team should arrange it out and fix it so that there would be no need of adjustments in case when someone do access via PC which i believe that people
does most of the time or simply make it responsive no matter what device a certain player would tend to access it out.
2718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 28, 2021, 09:32:40 PM
It depends on what coin they are hodling.

There are some coins that are good be to hodl in long term and there are coins that are not. I've hold my ATL token since 2017 and decided to sell it way back 2020 because I already accepted that their project was already a trash. Yes, that's a very wrong move to hold something like that, but since I didn't use any money on that, I still made money out of it.
The right step when you have to sell the altcoins you hold at a high enough price. because some altcoins do not have a clear future and are eventually abandoned. Unlike the altcoins that are at the top of the CMC. It is very important to do research before deciding to hold a coin long term, because it will determine the profits and losses. Don't let altcoins that are held long-term end in losses and cannot be sold.
Always set goals because this is on where you do really base up on your actions whether you do sell or would tend to hold further and this is very situational or does depend with someones mindset or goal in mind.
We do know that not all coins would be pumping out on a specific time because everything is really random and when price spikes do happen then its not really avoidable that you would really be having that
boggle in mind whether you do release and sell or would hold up even more for more profits but actually having this kind of act does signify of being greedy.
Its not bad on being optimistic but once profits is there then you do only need to realized it.

This is great thread for a compilation of all scams or maybe have open accusation casino I think it's much better if you would also include sports betting sites as well I think some of the sports betting sites lately have some open accusations, scams and more.
You could already see that its been included.

1xbit
Adkinsbet
444sport

If you do look at these sites then these are bookies.
They are including all sites doesnt matter if its a casino or bookies.

Hey guys! Does anyone here on the forum have an idea or knowledge about PI MiNING?

-Is Pi Mining legit or is it a scam?

-Will all the active miners of the Pi Network be worth the wait eventually?

-Will all the mined Pi Coins have any value in the future?

-Can it be exchanged like other listed tokens or coins in cryptocurrency?

People are divided when it comes to pi coins because of their upcoming launch, many believe that PI coins are real but others say they are scams or fake due to speculation on its value that the exchange rate is too high when it is formally released... What can you say about it?
Its a scam! Ive seen lots of Pi coin shills on Facebook which people who are involved did really make out those $1 price on December? Then what happened now?
For sure they are still having those high hopes for this coin without even minding that they might be dealing with some another shitcoin which are really just
trying out to hook up people to invest and then make out some rugpull later on. Those mobile mining or something like that
is just really some show off that it is a legit one but i dont see any significant usage of this one.
