Some of the altcoins or tokens might have some value but your gonna need to check it first in the exchange because a lot of the value is completely fake. It is where the volume of the token is completely low they are just making the transactions in the exchange so that it will be recorded in the exchange that the token was bought or sold in a high amount but basically it is not.
i think this is what happen to me before . i check my coins on ethplorer all the time and one time i see one token have a good value and i check the exhange but the value of the token does not match on what i see on ethplorer earlier . i rarely use etherscan but whenever i use etherscan i only got the same result as ethplorer . after reading what happen to op i think i might be using etherscan more often now because its been along time and i cant see a major growth on my coin using ethplorer . im starting to think there are problems with ethplorer |

I don't think it affect that much, and traders keep trading like the normal days. While the economy collapsed, cryptocurrency and blockchain have benefited more from it. Before the lockdown happened here in my city, Bitcoin was treading water from $5k to $5.5k.
Now we're treading water at $9k to $9.5k range and blockchain-related jobs, virtual events and demand have surged even more.
There is a link between trading and Covid 19. For example, during this lockdown, number of players have significantly increased in online and live casinos. That was the result of people staying at home for a long time. Logically, same should apply to trading and yeah, that happened. When you are stuck at home and think about other possibilities to earn money, trading will be the most common thing you'll see online. So this made a lot of people interested in trading and as a result volume has increased a lot. Price is a whole different subject because there happened opposite of what people were thinking and saying. Bitcoin was able to be stable in such a hard moments. I think COVID proved to people that bitcoin is different from their centralized USD and there is some light in it. You guys both make a quality point and i agreed with @shield132 because there was high traffic of crypto trading and investors during the total lockdown while there also increase in number of panic/emergency of bitcoin sell we also see some investors accumulating Gold. Meanwhile, covid 19 will make both postive and negative impact on the market but its the level of every individual understand and trust in the market will determine what will happen. positive effects is still high compare to the negative effect of covid because people are more aware in crypto . this include new people that havent know crypto before , those that leave crypto can still come back soon and if that happens crypto will now become powerful than before . the price is the same because like i said earlier there are people that sell and there are people that buy . the only thing that improve is the awareness which is still a win win situation . |

On the contrary, there are traders who also able to recover after being down for the last couple of years as you mentioned. You will just lose if you give up. Dealing and playing with the volatility is the challenge here. Don't focus on how much you lose but think of a way how to maintain winning stats. Learn to make strategy at any given trend. There is no perfect trade as even professionals still lose today. If you think you can't handle your losses then better refrain doing trades. I was once poor in trading. I experienced zero percent income and 60% losses in my portfolio. I hold coins before because of a FOMO. I did not use stop loss technique and I thought that trading is really simple in math. But all of that was eliminated when I tried to study the market, search for trading tutorials, plan my execution and determine my risk management skills. Although, I can say that I am not a pro trader till today because I have still guts in buying coin and I am a small trader until now. I can say that trading never fails us but we fail it when we start to despair from our trading activities. Don`t lose hope and continue what you are started. nice to know that you have learned from your mistake already and i assume that you already recover some of your past losses . i was about to give up to before not on trading but in crypto in general because i find it hard to learn and i did fail because of some mistakes , i took a rest and decided to try again . im lucky because on my next try things seems good to me know . we can be succesful in everything not only on trading if we will know how to stay persistent in the game . |

Everyone should avoid using martingale, it lends no advantage in usage and amplifys risk in the hope of winning it all back. Thats a normal mistaken strategy by most new bettors anyway, its better to have an allotted budget each day and not try to chase after losses just separate each day or attempt at gambling and hope to learn something along the way.
Theres one good reason why martingale strategy always pops up and over decades has been repeated, its simple and it appeals to the base instinct of a beginner. Any easy strategy is my preference but its inferior to some discipline and actual learning by experience.
martingale isnt for beginner because it needs calculations before you apply it , not an exact calculation but just a close measurement to ensure that you can possibly hit your target payout before you got busted . till now i cant leave martingale . i remember i rested for a while of using it but i still find myself coming back on it because i think i can win here in a less risky way than compare to flat betting which you can also end up too easily or too fast . |
