Most of the tenths I have ever submitted graded lower than the singles and halves. I am not sure why or if I just had bad luck with the coins I purchased. MS68 is a really nice grade and should demand a nice price. I agree with when people get high grades they tend to sell them and take some profits. It really depends on who gets the coins though.

There's unlikely to be more mods yet, things will change somewhat to make moderation more efficient and distribute the current workload over more people in the new forum, so it would be best to wait and see how it shakes out then.
*waits for images of skeletons and "lulz there's a new forum?"*
lulz there's a new forum?

I can get a 10btc gold B locally
except it will cost a premium (without me making anything)
I will however still help get it if you need, think he wants 21BTC
Cheers
2.1x face is in line with valuations for (if not better than) BTC1 coins...and the BTC10 coin is significantly more rare. Is the coin all silver or silver with gold? 2 x 1 is very different than 2 x 10 though... I do not use a formula like that to value coins either.

21 is pretty steep for that coin - I know bitmarket.io would sell me one for that price.

Oh boy, building a war chest...if only the spotcoins list, the Casascius Coin Analzyer, or Eliot's crypto coin book named owners for these Casascius crown jewels! Although if you knew who to ask you wouldn't have nearly as much fun hunting them all down. When you get your hands on these items will you allow the rest of us to come view them at your virtual Casascius museum?!
Good luck with the hunt!
(Sorry I can't personally play the 'i-have-one-what's-it-worth-to-you-game'...)
Well I do not expect to find these very fast since they are harder to locate and all. I do have a pretty decent collection I guess

I would test it out, but my reddit account has no karma (1 post in 3 years). Would bitcointalk or OTC rep count?

Looking for the following Casascius items. I am willing to buy them via BTC, Cash, or Trade (Other Cas Items)
I do not care about condition or grades - just has to have intact holograms
5BTC Casascius Coins (S1 or S2) 10BTC Casascius Coins (all silver or with gold BTC)
25BTC Casascius Coins (S1 or S2) Casascius Bearer Bars - only private key not 2FA

I think some issues need fixed first...
1) GUI wallet 2) Exchange support - having everything on 1 exchange is a real turn off for me. It looks kinda bad that even Crapsy does not have it listed. If it could be listed on BTC-e that would be amazing, but wouldn't hold my breath.
The database issue needs fixed, but GUI being the big one.

I think he would make an excellent choice for staff and if he is a little more careful back into the trust network.

You never paid me back
ayy lmao What an asshole. I feel sorry for people like that...having to scam for pocket change must be degrading

Maybe I'm probably going to just stop selling. I do have one spare 0.5 series-2 first-roll and two spare 1btc third-roll silvers, and a couple odd pieces (2011 s2, etc), but I'm tired of selling to rubes who undervalue anything not in a shitty ANACS slab. Maybe I'll run into you guys at a convention some day Rubes...lol I think #b-a is starting to warp your brain. Having coins being graded and stabbed is good for the future values. It shows how strong the Casascius following is....not just some metal coins sitting in a drawer somewhere. People care enough to pay and have them graded by professionals, and at some point we will get population reports. I think for the cost it is a no brainier to have done. Slabs are by far the safest long term storage for coins since they are 100% sealed and the coins can not move at all while in them. Stop acting like a pleb....lolz...

You're not the first but it's the best grade for a tenth atm. I'm interested in the price since the last MS68 tenth sale.
Didn't you have a MS-68 tenth also?
|
|
|
I will take 1 also! Make that 2 of them and escrow via OgNasty please!

I would think that the placement of the hologram on the coin and the condition its in would also come into play on the overall grade of the coin.
Nope. One of the reasons why ANACS is a piece of shit grading service and why I won't send them any of my coins. You might as well get ANACS to grade a pizza if you're getting them to grade coins w/ hologram stickers. I tried that, but got a low grade because the delivery guy drove like crap and my ingredients slid off the pizza (MS-60)

Like I said in the other 10 threads with the same question: campaigns just need to crackdown (Bit-X is now doing that per Marco!). I think we can pressure the others into doing the same thing and weed out these spammers.

I am now available more often!
Spammers are still not tolerated. I will be reviewing members and removing spammers immediately, payment will be forfeited. I will PM those that I do remove. I assume some of the (kicked) members will complain and I will, with other participant opinions if required, re-assess all those who do come forward (with a valid argument as to why they should be paid).
Excellent news Marco!

His bids are legit though. I like his style...if he sees something he likes he gets it!

Is the nick you can see on the B on the coin or is it on the slap?
Let's hope so, it's glaring! Also the prefix text is still crooked on the hologram, I'm surprised that got through as an MS 69. It's interesting to try to see how the graders evaluate different coins based on the qualities we can see from these pictures (which obviously isn't as good as seeing the coin in person and without a case over it.) Good luck in the auction, I'm sure you'll get a fine price or at least be able to test the waters. ANACS does not care about the hologram so long as it is intact. They only grade the coin itself.
