2741  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: October 08, 2017, 01:56:59 PM
Bitcoin would only be illegal if it was banned. What you could say it has not earned yet is the recognition of governments and bodies of law over the world. This could make it appear more legitimate and stable in the eyes of potential investors and help the economy grow but bitcoin as a network can function without the approval of any government. That's all thanks to decentralization.
2742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Cloud mining website hashflare.io using fake reviews on: October 08, 2017, 01:12:51 PM
I am very much surprised someone decided to bump this thread with a review. It's been much more than a year since I posted this and I don't see why any cloud mining website should be trusted. Especially one that started out with bad practices such as faking reviews. I'd still advise everyone to stay way form Hashflare.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with Airdropped Coins on: October 08, 2017, 12:42:37 AM
I think that it's better to wait on such tokens. The risk is minimal anyway so why not wait for a market spike or a rally? Such sentiments could take time to be part of a crypto market after an airdrop.
2744  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: October 07, 2017, 09:24:45 PM
Of course it is not possible for bitcoin to lose its value. Monetary value in FIAT currency has nothing to do with the inherit value of bitcoin. It is backed by a huge mining network that also happens to be the biggest computing network on the planet. People should really understand that bitcoin is the most secure way to transact value on the globe and hence its high value. It can never lose value.
2745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 07, 2017, 09:14:25 PM
Bitcoin to me is a great store of value but also a robust way to transact wealth with sufficient proof like no other payment medium can provide. But it can get quite expensive for microtransactions and fees rise along with increased usage. There are advantages and disadvantages that users would need to take into account, but to me there's no other than bitcoin.
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] Cryptogene's Reddit Upvote/Comment Bounty - Round 2 on: October 07, 2017, 09:11:28 PM
I'm pretty sure it would be against Reddit's rules to manipulate voting, especially with paid upvotes as an incentive. In the past, Reddit admins have permabanned domains over this reason. I'd advice startups to be careful. Asking supporters to join a Reddit community is enough.
2747  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: October 07, 2017, 09:08:34 PM
No dude! Never stop buying Bitcoin. Always buy every day you can and build your portfolio and you will not regret it in the future man, the more you buy the more money you will have in the future after the price goes through the roof. Wink
I think that over time, buying bitcoin continually isn't all that helpful. Perhaps waiting for low entry points to potentially trade is more effective way to multiply bitcoin holding. Trading isn't for everyone of course.
2748  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-06] Over 10 000 people want BTC and LTC payments in Amazon on: October 07, 2017, 09:05:21 PM
In my opinion Amazon wouldn't be all that interested in implementing bitcoin or cryptocurrency payments in the near future. Of course, people in support of bitcoin would be interested to support the adoption of bitcoin but that doesn't really mean that there's huge overlap between bitcoin and amazon users.
2749  Economy / Economics / Re: The Making of Currency on: October 07, 2017, 09:02:38 PM
Why is it that governments aren't doing this job well? Countries can thrive where organizations make it for corruption to be against the interest of a government. On the other hand, countries with a lot of corruption fail to distribute wealth through capitalism due to centralization of wealth to the few fortunate having good ties with a government. Bitcoin can do well under a system of government.
2750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lisk on Coinbase ! Petition on: October 07, 2017, 08:53:49 PM
Coinbase can't keep adding every altcoin, it'd end up for their services being too hard to maintain. I believe that the cost should remain low for them to offer what they offer to a large base. I'd rather have lisk users trade their coind to deposit in whatever crypto coinbase already supports.
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Crypto experience on: October 07, 2017, 05:56:36 PM
There is not much in term of inside knowledge being made public. This thread could very well be a bait thread to promote OP's own investment in an asset...
2752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin development direction. on: October 07, 2017, 05:50:55 PM
Bitcoin is a very well known technology. But its infrastructure is still not sufficiently developed.

What do you think is the most important direction for bitcoin development now?
I think adoption is important and Bitcoin would have to be developed in a way for it to allow adoption to happen without causing any issue. Fees rising for example is an issue however...

Looking for ICO ready to moon!

That P/E Ratio ...
that's comparing apples to oranges. Not many similar things between those two. Amazon has some of the best, proven services in the market while syscoin is under development with the expectation that perhaps a stable system could maybe come out of it ready for use and if and only if there's adoption it could scale to cover a market. Amazon's decentralized structure allows for very fast scaling.
2754  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 06, 2017, 11:25:37 AM
If Btc is an international currency, no doubt we will be able to use it in our everyday life. We would not need to change it, because we will use its technology that, in fact, is very convenient.

But there is still a question if it's possible, and if the people are ready not to use paper, but electronic money. I'm not sure exactly that iy=t will be so.

The feasibility of that happening is questionable. Bitcoin dosn't scale well with use. It's good as an alternative but increased usage makes transactions more expensive for everyone due to fees. A good scaling solution could have this addressed in part perhaps for BTC to be used by a larger group. In reality though, it'd be very hard to expand to global currency levels.
2755  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will more Forks lower the total hashing power & difficulty for Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2017, 11:21:41 AM
If 2x receive support form at least some miners that are to leave the bitcoin network, the difficulty would only fall if the gap wasn't filled. In so far, due to the purported difficulty rules of a supposed 2x fork I don't think that it'd gain too much support from miners that are on bitcoin. And that'd be the case for at least a couple of difficulty re-targets unless an exception is made in the rules.
2756  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-06] Swiss Public University Begins Accepting Bitcoin on: October 06, 2017, 11:17:22 AM
It is very interesting to see how a public university can accept non-state means of payment, especially for a country that manages its own currency. This is in my opinion a good example of how bitcoin can co-exist with state means in a country.
2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bitcoin rises and my altcoin stays the same BTC price, I'm still riding the on: October 06, 2017, 10:48:24 AM
That's why many altcoins rose in FIAT value while BTC was rising on price. Some went through their own bubbles in the meantime but among all bitcoin scores the biggest total gains in whole value as a single entity market-wide.
2758  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to host your equipment? on: October 06, 2017, 10:45:40 AM
I think that you should post a more presentable showcase of your services in the service announcement board of this forum. Where is your company registered? Any pictures of your data center? Those'd better be in the announcement thread.
2759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurriencies do we really need? on: October 06, 2017, 10:42:06 AM
We don't really need all that many. I believe that every altcoin will go though massive devaluation once side chains for bitcoin are established and tested throughout.
2760  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: October 04, 2017, 06:30:25 AM
Hello guys can you recommend me if what debit cards can be deposit bitcoin that can be use for advertising purposes for adwords..
I mean i wanted to deposit funds in adwords for advertising .. any debit cards recommended?
I was testing some cards out there in the list from op when i was trying to advertise in bing  can you suggest guys.. that also works in bing. . thanks

I don't see why any card would not work in adwords or bing. All I've tried worked with Paypal and all websites accepting VISA. Never had any problems. Perhaps give a try to one of the virtual ones and report back with results.
There are sometimes blocking vcc or banning i experience this in Cryptopay.me and wirex before they are not accepting..
After adding this card my account getting ban..  Hope someone can give me idea if what card would be working in bing or even in adwords.. that can deposit a small amount or even just $2 minimum.. thanks
If that's the case then I don't think that this is a risk worth taking. It's easy to know the issuing bank from the bin of a cc number.  Gibraltar (most Bitcoin debit cards) probably wouldn't be ok for Bing.
