This thread appears to be getting some attention by staff so I'll quote lists I had made in another thread here also:
If you give admins posts in this format, they're likely to not do anything. You should try to make it easier for them to take an action quickly without having to navigate links. You don't really want them to open profiles and then check the posts.
Well, that's why I put links to profiles involved at the bottom along with threads they've posted the incriminating posts at.  What else could I do to improve the format? Genuine question!

More accounts involved in plagiarism.
Either way, this thread is only meant to report ICO pumping accounts.
Yeah, that's what those accounts have been promoting.

Mistertango will be disabling transfers from and to exchanges for free accounts (from the looks of it).[/img]
I for one welcome the certainty. If there is a fee attached to being able to transact with exchanges, no big deal. At least they state that in this case they won't block your account for transacting with exchanges.
The new pricing is very odd though. Why is the fee for other ATM transactions and and tranfers so much larger for paid accounts? This makes no sense at all.

This move would provide no incentive to use Mistertango against competitors (which are also known to be BTC friendly) and free.

€29.90 per year and 2.49% for loading via bank transfer. wow That's quite expensive. I wouldn't bet in the longevity of such service when there are entirely free alternatives. Perhaps this is what keeps them in business though:

So, is it bitcoin friendly? The question still stands. Cheesy Wouldn't try it though.

I'm posting in Meta in hopes that mods will start nuking spammy accounts and potentially locking threads that utilize them. I'm hopeful that there'll be some acknowledgment by staff.

Seems like UK based banks have some extra protovols for sharing information. Transferwise specializes in international transfers but their banking is also done in the UK. Well, if you are in the EEA there are better and cheaper options anyway.

1813  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 24-Apr-2018] on: June 18, 2018, 01:42:54 AM
I guess you should update the Bitsler Campaign's payment method since they pay base in BTC not in USD as well for the Bitdice Campaign
Sr member-.015/week
Hero Member-.0225/week
Legendary-.025/week
Staff-???

  • Full Members - 0.03 BTC per week
  • Senior Members - 0.035 BTC per week
  • Hero & Legendary Members - 0.045BTC  per week

Both are old payment rates especially for Bitsler's rate as per my last payment was still in USD ($150). About bitdice I believe the list on the table is the correct one. Your quoted post is  old rate of the campaign, both OP are not updated with the latest pay rates imho but both campaign managers has informed about the change of the rate. Forget when was the last change but I believe the table is still the correct one.
You're right. Here's a post from the manager about this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3357814.msg36066772#msg36066772

The entirety of those threads is probably a spam landfill. I can't go through every single post looking for plagiarism bot the accoints doing it are posting copied responses almost exclusively. It appears as though someone is employing a network of spam accounts to plagiarize comments and boost threads. If one follows threads those post in a trail of boosted threads could be uncovered.

Look at the double spaces here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3423964.msg36164655#msg36164655

The project name is likely a variable word.
Can somebody export all Jr. member accounts from those threads that this network appears to be promoting so they can be banned en masse?
1818  Other / Meta / SPAMBOT hunting: report spambot promoted threads on: June 16, 2018, 12:11:29 AM
There has been some blatant activity of spam-bumping and potentially spam-botting lately. Bumping is used to push threads back to the front page as a promotion method. It's easy for this to get lost amidst the forum's massive activity so I thought about creating a thread to gather them all in one place.

What to do? Simple: post links to thread that appear to be promoted by spam-bumps.

I'll start

Blatant plagiarism in this thread's responses (also whole thread duplicate of now locked https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3382203.0)

https://archive.fo/oxWQp#selection-510.0-510.1
https://archive.li/ObhfL#selection-921.15-921.23 Older Plagiarized comments
https://archive.li/PdWgs#selection-1490.0-1490.1 Older Plagiarized comments

Another example in same thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4360608.msg40193472#msg40193472 plagiarized from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3382203.msg38618457#msg38618457

Most accounts from page 5 onwards seem to be newly created for spam.
1819  Other / Meta / Re: Bring back the newbie jail with changes on: June 15, 2018, 10:40:20 PM
My suggestion is to remove bumping powers from newbies and potentially Jr. Members. This way they will be able to respond but it won't shoot threads up so no new accounts will be created for spam-promotion through spam-bumping. Currently such accounts are created faster than the mods can ban them.

Also introduce reCaptchas per each post for newbies. Because automated tools can easily beat time restrictions. Such posts are made much faster than the bots can delete them.
