2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Phenomenon of BNB (Fundamental analysis BNB/USD) on: October 16, 2020, 11:51:36 AM
2- Launchpool - new type of IEO but you don't need to invest. You are "harvesting coins" for stacking BNB. After first day (out of 30) i received 0.03% in Bal token (if price after listing will be equal to priv-sale price - most often with binance IEOs its x1.5-x15). This sum up to 11.5 % annual ROI (17-170% based on previous IEO performance after listing)

I was right in the point. ROI from launchpools fluctuates exactly from 17 % to 170 % (depends on how aggressive first day of trading was). Few days after listing, the ROI stabilize at 22%. Thats a decent amount because we still have launchpads (sometimes even combined lauchpads with lauchpools), other activities, and coin is deflationary thanks to BNB burns.

Back to BNB burns. According to today's tweet from CZ Q3 BNB burn is planned for tomorrow. I think it will be another record because Q3 was DEFI hype quarter. Huge volumes. For example UNISWAP during listing had bigger volume than bitcoin. Whats your predictions?

Thats the previous burn:

2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Banks 2020 on: October 16, 2020, 11:35:01 AM
That's what i'm the most scared about. Banks accepting and storing bitcoin for you... All for the convenience of the end user. Great.

Banks were also storing gold and giving us piece of paper for our convenience (convertible back to gold anytime) Try to get your gold back now Smiley Impossible after 1970.

Second step after reaching enough customers? Those banks will implement their old school tricks - fractional reserve system and Bitcoin supply will grow to 200 mln (offchain supply in banks system) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5094088.msg49096584#msg49096584

The only good way of storing bitcoin is your own wallet. Otherwise, you are risking loosing money or harming bitcoin by allowing others to inflate it.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: October 15, 2020, 06:56:04 PM
Who is crazy enough to keep his/her identity on a blockchain? Must be those who still use facebook.

I think you did not get the point of IDENA or I did not get the point of your post. Idena does not use any personal data. It is not about storing identity on blockchain. It is new technology (different from POS and POW). You are doing Turing test (hard for AI easy for human) that proves that you are real human - not bot - that gives you permission to run a single node. This test is a guarantee that 1 real world person is equal to 1 node. This makes it possible to give each node equal voting power (not based by hash power or money locked). This makes it possible to implement sharding in easy and decentralized way.
2744  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 15, 2020, 05:06:53 PM
I'm so surprised that i'm here. Thanks zasad@ for invitation. But why? I'm just a silent mouse and this is list of 100 most interesting BTT members.

Anyway here are my answers Smiley

"1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?"

I was a trader for 3 years on regular stocks when 2017 bubble started and bitcoin was all around the place. Every investment portal wrote about bitcoin only. I looked at chart and said "mm what a outstanding bubble". Lets play on it. Bubbles like that happens no more than few times in a lifespan (dot com was 17 years before). It was my chance to learn a lot. Trade on such big emotions.

"2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?"

December 2017 Smiley. It was meant to be a training amount for active speculation, so I do not regret it. I only regret that cantor that I used set transaction fee so low that my transfer was stuck for 2 weeks. It was awful 2 weeks. During this 2 weeks bitcoin dumped from 19k to 14k and all i could do was waiting. When BTC was at 14k i said fuck it and I bought LTC and it came the same day. I deposited to exchange and started to trade. But.. I did not waste those 2 weeks of waiting. I started to read about BTC, why my transfer stucked etc. I started to really love this technology but ... was afraid about future of bitcoin because of this high fees and transfer stuck - Bubble was build on paradig that BTC will replace Fiats - any altcoin seam to be better than BTC that day for me (not anymore ... I'm bitcoin maximalist right now). I started to trade altcoins and in the meantime reading more and more about technology. After few weeks BTC become my third love (maths, economy, bitcoin).

"3. How did you get on the forum?"

Seeing how volatile and exciting this market is I've decided to quit my job and earn for a living with trading. I felt confident with my 3 years trading experience on stocks. Since now i don't know if that was right decision. Emotional roller-coaster every day. To have additional income and still be able to control my trades i started doing bounties. That's how I've found Bitcointalk (I am not proud of the reasons why I came here). After a while on forum i found out that BTT its great place with interesting community. I've quit bounties and start to contribute for community. Sharing my maths/economy analysis with others. Discussing with others. It's started to be very relaxing and helps me not thing about trades all the time.

"4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?"

Why did the people allow the gold standard to be abolished? Why they accepted current situation - printers doing prrr prrr prrr all day? Because they are too lazy to educate and too lazy to add a little bit more effort. 90% of people that you will ask on the street what inflation is will say - "I don't know, I'm not interested in things that don't concern me ". They wants to pay with VISA - 0 fee, instant, no extra stuff to do. The promise of possession replaced possession for simplicity of use thanks to weak economic eduction in school. Crypto will have to be cheaper, faster than visa to speak to masses. And that's impossible.

"4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?"

Thanks to merit system and good mangers, gambling projects hire mostly quality members. So it boost their activity and their presents on the forum. Speaking from my perspective. I would be here without signature too but I might not be every week. Signature campaign makes me a habit to take care of my hobby regularly. Because bitcointalk is my hobby.

"4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?"

2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough.

"5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns? Do they harm the forum?"

Already answered in 4.2

"6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?"

Currently I think that a topic in which Ninjastic bring his tool: https://ninjastic.space/ or @BTTSuperNotifier_bot (telegram bot for notifications)

"7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?"

Better post search, notifications of quotes, mention and merits

"8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?"

Trade(manually and I also have few automated algos - liquidity providers), invest (BTC, BNB, iDNA)

"9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?"

Hard to tell. My algos are doing houndreds of trades per day. Consolidating the profits from these transactions is my greatest success. I invested only in BTC ,BNB, IDNA with my money for long enough to give them time to generate profit.

"10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?"

99% scams. Top of bubble that is currently bursting. Everything with DEFI in name is overpriced as f... Link f.e. is just an oracle worth 5 bilion $. How many information should it process to generate over $ 1.5 billion in profit (to compete with BNB P/E). How much profit should companies have that use this oracle so they be able to afford to spend $ 1.5 billion only for oracle? This infrastructure will take decades to build, and in the meantime, many better "LINKS" will be built.

Technology that was here for few years is now being presented as something that will rapidly change world. It will not. Few projects will survive but will wait years to start to generate real profit.

"11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?"

Same as gentleman said:
"You may as well guard it and hang on to it. Once it's gone, it's gone. You may become a big player in the future and bitterly regret throwing it away."

"12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?"

Ashamed to admit, but none

"13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?"

BTC - king ... do I need to say more ?Smiley

BNB - fundamentally undervalued (P/E) coin that yields 50-100% passive ROI while remaining deflationary (it is a sensation in the scale of the entire crypto) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208144.msg53299809#msg53299809

iDNA - The most decentralized coin (close to 5000 unique nodes with equal voting power) and only $4 M MC. First proof of person coin - 0 KYC. This is high risk high reward for x0 or x100. Not much $$$ in there.

"14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?"

Close to current price.

"15. P.S. (Optional)"
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Cardano as a hedge against Ethereum on: October 15, 2020, 03:31:29 PM
Nah. Cardano is mostly dead. Although it is still on top 10 it is not innovative any more and is not major ETH competitor. Its one out of hundreds of ETH competitors. Even if ETH will delay v2.0 or fail to deliver at all no one will move to ADA with their projects. They will stay with ETH, run their own chains or move to BSC (binance smart chain) to get a peace of 100 mln $ fund reserved for such case. BSC is also 100% compatible with ETh, so no extra coding for developers. It is compatible even with metamask after 5 simple steps.
Nie wyobrażam sobie, by nagle (w perspektywie 10 lat) caly świat zaczął używać np. NANO do codziennych płatności.

Fidelity zaleca, aby inwestorzy lokowali w swoich portfelach minimum 5% w BTC. "
https://bithub.pl/raporty/rewolucyjny-raport-fidelity-do-bitcoina-plyna-biliony-dolarow/

Ja pisałem jeszcze o małym procencie w altach o solidnych fundamentach udowodnionych trwardymi zyskami.

*Fidelity  - "It is one of the largest asset managers in the world with $3.3 trillion in assets under management as of June 2020 and a combined total customer asset value number of $8.3 trillion."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fidelity_Investments

Zalecają 5% trzymać w btc a sami mają 3.3 biliona dolarów ...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278153.msg55261551#msg55261551

Oh. I have another good points for you:

1- Kucoin hack - $ 250 + mln  stolen (third biggest crypto hack). After few days Kucoin CEO claims that they recovered $200 mln!
https://news.bitcoin.com/kucoin-ceo-says-exchange-hack-suspects-found-204-million-recovered/

2- Bitmex CEO in jail.

Bitmex don't give a f..

“We strongly disagree with the U.S. government’s heavy-handed decision to bring these charges, and intend to defend the allegations vigorously. From our early days as a start-up, we have always sought to comply with applicable U.S. laws, as those laws were understood at the time and based on available guidance.
In the meantime, the BitMEX platform is operating entirely as normal and all funds are safe. To allay any potential customer concerns, pending withdrawal requests were processed at 17:45 UTC, in line with our standard procedures."

Here you can find list of ATMs. Big part of them are no-KYC. Find closest one to your location and read their TOS.

Also you can search for local vendors:

There are alo lists of stores that accept bitcoin:

This one looks legit. Looks like coin is already being traded (on kucoin). There are weekly rewards. Up to 200$ per week + merit bonus. 60 free spots. Dunno if payment already confirmed but manager is good

2751  Economy / Speculation / Re: My btc price calculation theory and future of btc on: October 11, 2020, 02:06:27 PM
Thats the most crazy/ridiculous theory i've read.

1- bitcoin is not about money laundering. I dare to say that only a small fraction of BTC is connected to illegal activities.
2- price does not go where majority wants. It is driven by supply and demand not by wishful thinking.
3- all numbers in your theory are just guesses.
4- criminals using bitcoin (and other parts of money laundering) are mostly not traders/investors, so they are avoiding currency risks. They will not wait for bitcoin reach 20k to profit.
5 - damn... do i really need to say more?
2752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM installed at Elon Musk’s Tesla Gigafactory on: October 11, 2020, 02:01:03 PM
7000 people are working there so its like a small town, but i doubt this ATM will have a large volume. At least compared to those placed in shopping centers.

To me its not a big news. Musk related to bitcoin many times so we know about his attitude to crypto.

"Billionaire Elon Musk is a huge fan of cutting-edge technology and is usually ahead of the curve when it comes to finance, but he's not a bitcoin bull. The co-founder of Tesla Inc. revealed on Twitter that he owns only a tiny fraction of one bitcoin token. "I literally own zero cryptocurrency, apart from"

2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: October 11, 2020, 12:54:00 PM
Let me tell you a secret - a few months ago for participation in the Idena program people received more profit than by connecting your gaming computer to the Etherium mining. Only at first it was necessary to pass 4 consecutive validations to get the status of Human.

It is not profitable to mine ETH with gaming PC at all (taking into consideration costs of electricity and hardwere wear) so it is like that from the beggining of idena untill now.

During last 3 days this dude has bought and withdrawn almost 200k iDNA which equals $24k. Seems pretty impressive to me:
https://scan.idena.io/address/0xBBD74E965b0f3CaAb1943Df5c1a8172104e04C06

Unfortunately, but the volumes do not match. There is not enough volume on Qtrade to buy that much in 3 days. 70k iDNA was traded in last 3 days. He is only withdrawing what he bought earlier.

  • Type I: They hate bitcoin and feel jealously with bitcoiners who are believe in bitcoin (its technology, decentralization and future). They also want to invest in BTC but always feel fear and never actually buy BTC. They simply watch, regret and repeat it many times.

Yes. I've heard it many times. They are always looking for the dip to buy and every dip is not dip enough or too big(bitcoin going to 0 fear). They are always frightened about fluctuation. Well I would rather like to sit on this:

than this:

2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CFTC Charges BitMEX on: October 10, 2020, 10:33:34 AM
I guess if you stay then there could be less volumes and it could affect your trading experience? So if you are a customer, might be better to move to others exchanges with liquidity. Oh well, that's US long arm of the law, regardless of where you are, or what country you hide, they might find a way to get to you.

According to CMC there is still $1.5 bil volume. Its top 4. I doubt that anyone with wallet smaller than $ 100 mln  will see the difference. There is 0.5% slippage for $1 mln market order. Biggest derivatives exchange is only 2 times bigger.
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fact sheet for bitcoin price (daily low, high, close price over years) on: October 09, 2020, 05:12:24 PM

In the meantime bitcoin "has died 382 times". Seriously people should stop looking at 5 min candles while investing in bitcoin. This is the chart that true investors should look at.
Thanks for this. I will have what to quote every time i see panic sellers discuss.
2759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Christie’s Auction House Sells NFT Crypto Art ‘Block 21’ for Over $130K on: October 09, 2020, 12:38:29 PM
Sometimes we can't really expect to much on the ART, the price was really insane when the art it self was pretty shit. That's just because the creator of the art, because of him makes what's ever he created have some value.

Always, the benefits some popular person.

The thing with highly priced art is that at some point it becomes just an escape from inflation or just a good investment for whales. Most of the people buying art for 10 mln $+ are not even art fans. They are just investors' that are looking for good investment. Just take a look at this chart:

https://www.artprice.com/artprice-reports/the-contemporary-art-market-report-2018/artists-prices

And you know that you can make x4 in 12 years. That's more than average stock trader. Whales investing that much money are simply diversifying portfolio. x in gold, x in diamonds, x in bitcoin, x in stocks, x in art.

Fun thing in investing in unique art is that there is only 1 peace. There is no market prcie like with bitcoin. There is only 1 "Portrait of Dr. Gachet" by Van Goth and you can auction it at any price you want. If you will not sell it in your lifetime at this price, four sure your son will.

We are waiting for the Oracle release, hopefully, with the latest update, Idena's price will increase, considering that the results of mining are currently very small.

I see you have decided to wear your signature as a volunteer. Remember to update the number of nodes. 2680 is a thing of the past for the idena. 4538 is current number. Here you are:
