1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVOID THIS CONTRACT AT ALL MEANS.A SCAM BOT. on: November 20, 2021, 01:23:36 PM
This contract address has constantly been creating meme tokens. the owner has been creating new tokens, adds to the exchange and then removing it.
https://bscscan.com/address/0x608756c184a0723077b0c10f97f4d054c9ee1c0f
you should try as much to avoid the tokens being launched here. although it might look like a bot. it is recommended to avoid the address to avoid getting dumped.

All meme tokens are created to be listed on exchange, catch first pump just to dump bags on investors (word "gambler" is better here, because "investor" uses complex analysis to back its moves on the market ... much more complex than ... "oh what a nice name for a token ... lets jump in"). All meme tokens should be avoided not only created by this contract address.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KUSAMA (KSM) will rise to $500? on: November 20, 2021, 12:37:40 PM
I thought that there is  only 10,000,000 KSM , where did you figure out , that it does not have max supply  ?

I had hard time finding exact tokenomics, to figure out how tokens are distributed, so I checked what coinmarketcap have to say and there was no max supply. But you might be correct. According to coingecko its 10 000 000 KSM. Sorry, my mistake.

But it does not change the fact, that speculating on altcoins, based on their fundamentals, at current market situation is rather pointless because at the end of the day its all about answering 1 question ... is it the end of bull run or not.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to trust in projects? like www.certik.org ? on: November 20, 2021, 08:40:58 AM
for example https://www.certik.org/ is good idea to check project ?

As far as I'm concerned they check smart contract code only. So its nice to see their audit ... you know that team can't manipulate circulating supply (for instance) or steal your money from liquidity pools (dex). But it does not protects token value (your investment) in case of rug-pulls or team simply disappearing (exit scams).

Top 20 CMC is quite safe and i would not go any further if you are not experienced enough.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's figure out which altcoins have good opportunities next year on: November 19, 2021, 07:11:30 PM
Next year, when altcoins can provide the best value in the market, given that there are so many altcoins that cannot be the best source for investment, market conditions do not provide a better place for them at the moment.

I pay attention to such alts as mina, cro, dot, nwc, and cdt.

What are your thoughts about what other altcoins might grow in the future?

BNB:
~60% ROI from lauchpads/lauchpools
-Chain with the biggest traffic - 10x ETH traffic (10M daily TX vs 1 M daily TX)
-reduce fee on biggest exchange
-deflationary (~5% supply down per year)
-3x undervalued comparing to NASDAQ average P/E (binance generates ~ 10B annual profit - P/E ~ 10)
-binance owns CMC
-binance labs is investing all around the crypto space. Most likely binance owns big bags of every promising project. Have so much money and resources that can buy/takeover any new tech that is promising.

but ... is it good time to buy? I would say the best time would be after 2-3 years of bear market. Even if its price will pump to 1000+$ ...2000+$ ... after 3 years of bear market it will dump back to 500$ where you will be able to do analysis based on current market situation and binance performance and in case its still strong load up for road to 10 000$. Not now.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They are starting to get really worried! on: November 19, 2021, 05:42:46 PM
They cannot do anything about bitcoin.

BTC = boss end of discussion.

Etag_loc

Well I would not underestimate unlimited amount of fiats they have (to short/manipulate) and unlimited amount of FUD they can generate. These two combined can put btc into 10-15 year bear market. Just like we've seen on gold. I wonder how many "strong hands" will quit because they have lambos in current price but 0 income because they quit their job. After 10 years they will eat all savings and be forced to sell. I think that the worse time for hodlers is yet to come. They have power and revolution in global economy will not take place in next 1-5 years. It will take decade/decades and its possible that it will be decades in bear market.

I'm not fudding. I'm bullish on BTC. I just wanted to point out that we did not win yet.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KUSAMA (KSM) will rise to $500? on: November 19, 2021, 05:26:58 PM
What about the circulation of the coin on the exchanges? Auctions will go on for a long time and coins will be locked for 1 year.

Ok, but what percentage are we talking about? 5% of supply? 10% of supply? Its nothing compared to 99.5% dump that is possible if its the end of current bull market and everything will dump from 80-99%. Dont forget that ksm does not have Max Supply. How high is inflation currently? How many coins are being issued each block?

I dont think that at current bubble stage the fact that part of supply will be locked is enough to protect price from dumping with whole market.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KUSAMA (KSM) will rise to $500? on: November 18, 2021, 06:14:07 PM
I am studying the KUSAMA project and I see that there are auctions on it, but it does not give a strong growth. What do you think of this coin?

I dont see polkadot to be the best environment for projects. Its not building user base as fast as solana, avax, not even mentioning BSC. And I don't think we need more than 3 fast chains.

Will this coin push to 500$? Well as always it all depends on overall crypto market permeance. So far we see strong correction. BTC just broke support on 58k. I would not expect KSM to grow when everything else is falling (fail to hit 500$ target). If we will see strong market bounce ... I would not expect KSM to grow as fast as others (succeed to hit 500$ target but other projects will outperform KSM).
1748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Impact of a specific transaction on the coin price. How to calculate? on: November 18, 2021, 06:01:27 PM
Hi guys,

Is it possible to somehow approximately calculate what impact a specific buy or sell will have on the market cap / price?
For example, the price of a coin is $1, market cap $10M, some whale is dumping $500.000 or buys for $500.000. What price / market cap is it going to be after?

Thanks

Price impact after big buy/sell order does not depend on marketcap. It depends on volume. Big real volume (not wash trading) attracts big market makers that fills orderbook and create liquidity.

Thank you guys!

What, if it’s not on an exchange, but only on pancakeswap?

There is a simple math formula that calculate price based on number of tokes in liquidity pools. Simply - everyone that wants to add liquidity has to add same value in 2 tokens. For example 1000 USDT and 10 AVAX worth 1000USDT (price of avax - 100 USDT). If whale come and buy big chunk of AVAX his order suck AVAX from liquidity pool and puts USDT there. This changes the price to maitain same value of coins in 2 pools.

For example liquidity of BNB on pancake for 10 mln $ order (4.36% slippage):

But don't think that price will stay there for long because arbitrage traders will buy on pancake to sell on other exchanges.

1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wash Trading - Concerns? on: November 18, 2021, 05:41:18 PM
In my view, this kind of wash trading is being done to increase/maintain an exchange's 'rank', not to manipulate price. Exchanges will do next to anything to keep their brand relevant and keep customers using their platform.
I disagree.  I challenge anyone here to create an account or MXC or CoinEX, both accepting non-KYC deposits and withdrawals, and try to place a buy order.  The price will immediately start moving way above your buy order.  I had moments during which the market falsely appeared ultra bullish: the price had a 20% premium compared to any other exchange.  20% within minutes and this happens every single time I try to buy off their exchange.  It is obvious price manipulation and this is sadly happening even as we speak.

PrivacyG

Its not "The price will immediately start moving way above your buy order". Price is not moving anywhere. Those are shitty exchanges without any real traffic, coin that you tried to trade is most likely dead too. Order books are empty, filled with fake orders and exchange create fake trades between 2 fake orders in orderbook to boost its total volume to boost its rang on coinmarketcap. When you place your order exchange has to make fake trades a little bit higher to not fill your order.

As OP said this fake volume is mostly done by exchange to "increase/maintain an exchange's 'rank'," ... well at least majority. I know few coins that uses dev's founds to boost volume on pancakeswap (DEX). I doubt that pancakeswap is doing it on its own.

@Tytanowy Janusz

1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Index Certificate (like Nasdaq, S&P 500) on: November 17, 2021, 09:18:33 PM
Is there something like a crypto index certificate?

So you buy with one certifcate
the top 100 or top 200 coins on coinmarketcap
with one click?

(Like a nasdaq or S & P 500 certificate in the stock market)

I havent seen index certigicates listed on decent high volume/low spreads exchange yet, but Kucoin recently lauched AI portfolios. You can use it as "index certificate".

It looks like that:

There are many options to customize that. Portfolio is auto rebalancing.
1752  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 17, 2021, 09:12:52 PM
It's been a while since we have seen any huge price manipulation and bitcoin is fluctuating between 5-10% from few days/weeks and what do you think would be the outcomes? will it be marching towards new milestone of $80K or $1 Million which has been trending in most of the crypto influencer's channels? I think we have seen this before and bitcoin will surge and probably touch $1 million and then whales will start dumping like they did in 2018 in order to buyback at lesser value.

Will we be tricked in to buy at peak or else people have learnt lesson from 2018 dump and act wisely this time?

I see like 3 weeks correction right now to around 50-54k$ price range. Its perfect take profit time for "before taproot activation investors". Buy rumours sell facts. Same was after segwit activation. First 3 weeks dump from 4800 to 3200 and than pump to 20k.
1753  Local / Polski / Re: Zadyma z bitomatami on: November 16, 2021, 10:59:25 AM

1754  Local / Polski / Re: Polish Hyde Park on: November 16, 2021, 10:54:45 AM

No własnie stara zasada "kupuj plotki sprzedawaj fakty" jeszcze nigdy mnie nie zawiodła.

1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The reason why Crash Games usually crash at lower values on: November 10, 2021, 09:19:50 AM
I think that your estimate is much too conservative. A 2% gain for the house would normally not only not cover the operating costs but leaves it open for pure default in case any risk materialises. Companies usually have a 50% gross margin on sales (it may be very variable) which tends to result in 10 to 20% of gross marging. I think that a 2% of the deposits would not even cover half of that.. I would be thinking of 15 to 20% of deposit.

Casio is not a steel factory. House edge of 50% would be crazy high. Even 10% is way to much. Most dice games has 1-3% and its not like "I think" its 1-3%. I've calculated this for multiple casinos. House edge on roulette (single 0) is 2.70% (simple math - 1/37), house edge on American roulette (0 and 00) is 5.2% (simple math - 2/38). House edge on games like crash (where you cant calculate odds of winning by looking at UI only) are most ofthen higher but even those are lower than 7%. At least on legit casino that i've checked (calculating based on data from provably fair section).

i nft mystery box

1757  Local / Polski / Re: Polish Hyde Park on: November 09, 2021, 12:24:05 PM

https://www.nicehash.com/countdown/btc-forking-2021-11-15-12-00

Dziś w rynek uderza coś takiego:

"Binance Will Support the Bitcoin (BTC) Taproot Upgrade" - https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/8578eea0104f439c85f50fbdc99bf7c2

By media huczały.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Price Prediction: How Much Will TRX Be Worth In 2021 on: November 09, 2021, 12:17:32 PM
You are absolutely right sir, I support your reason for this matter actually. Holding TRX compared to ETh is much really better than ETH due to in terms of their price difference we have a big chance to earn big in the future on TRX if we hold them in the long term, just simple as that. In fact, I hold few of it.

That was not exacly my point. I didn't said that TRX is worse than ETH. Or it is better to hold TRX rather than ETH. In fact, for long term investment, I would rather pick ETH. My point was that people underestimate TRX pumping shitcoins like ADA only because it caims to be "innovative" while it did not deliver its product for 5 years and ... no one is using it. People gamble on startups comparing promises without working product evaluated at 75B (ADA) or 50B (DOT) instead of comparing working products evaluated at 8B$

And from you post I assume that you compare coins by price. Its the worse trategy that you can have. You should compare projects capitalization (circulating supply times price) taking into account tokenomics (mostly inflaiton).
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The reason why Crash Games usually crash at lower values on: November 09, 2021, 11:26:28 AM
There is no game that is designed in a way to be a place "where you can possibly gain profits". Each game is designed in a way to let you win back what you put in minus house edge (on average) with every bet you make.
at the end of the day casino games arent all about fun and games, this is a profit making business and i will disagree to this statement that it will late you break even in all your runs....if it were designed like this then martingale would have been the best strategy to win  on casino games!!

You miss my point. I said "Each game is designed in a way to let you win back what you put in minus house edge (on average) with every bet you make" so if you pyt 100$ into single bet casino is designed in a way to give oyu back your 100$ minus house edge (most often 1-5%) so give back 100$-(1$~5$)= ~98$ on average. So you are down 2$ on each 100$ bet on average. This 2$ is casino profit. I didn't said that casino does not earn on you. Its designed in a way to give you fun, entertaiment and chance to win big but takes small portion of your wallet with every bet you take (on average!)

crash games are volatile and unpredictable , i have seen on several occasions a string of less than x1.3 get hit and nothing of a x2 which makes this unpredictable, roulette has to be a better choice of games Tongue

Wrong. Crash is predictible. If it was unpredictable how would casino earn on it? It may be umpredictible during single try, but after N tries (where n tends to infinity) you end up with:
current balance = starting balance - (house edge*your bet) * number of bets

1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The reason why Crash Games usually crash at lower values on: November 07, 2021, 11:41:49 AM
and if you are playing this crash game in manual mode, i definitely can say, you will have adrenaline rush. but time and time, if you will continue to play, you will end up losing in this game if you don't know when to stop. i don't consider this game to where you can possibly gain profits, but just a mere entertainement only. as you said, at the end, house always win in most classic games.

There is no game that is designed in a way to be a place "where you can possibly gain profits". Each game is designed in a way to let you win back what you put in minus house edge (on average) with every bet you make. It does not matter what game you play. If you plan to cash out at x2 on crash you can go to dice and play high/low with x2 reward or roulette black/red. It will have the same output for you. In the end of the day its all about emotions during playtime (not about winning in a long run because its impossible). Thats why crash is so popular, especially when you have no plan about when you want to exit.
