2781  Economy / Speculation / Re: voting: $750 in 1/12/2016? on: December 01, 2016, 10:29:45 AM
it seems like this prediction was not so far from reality this time bitcoin price is $750.7 on bitfinex by the time i am writing this here.

Its above $750 right now. The prediction is right. $750.35 to be exact. This is normal tho. Maybe tommorow we are back again at $735. $700 barrier is very strong. I hope atleast it reach $800 at the end of the year. Maybe thats for now. If that happen, this is my happy new year.. $1000 a piece is impossible this year. I guess next year this will happen.

anything is possible with bitcoin but i have to admit i don't see any way for price to go up to $1000 and based on what i have been seeing, it won't happen because it would be such a huge rise without reason and so far price has been rising slowly and in smaller amounts.
2782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to hack your bitcoin from your wallet? on: December 01, 2016, 10:25:09 AM
you have to learn what are the ways that you can get hacked and then try to find ways to prevent those ways. for example one of the most common ways of getting hacked is having a key logger on your computer. solution is simply having a good anti virus and not downloading things you are not sure about.

and as for bitcoin and bitcoin wallet as long as there is cold storage everyone should build themselves one and transfer their bitcoins there to prevent all kinds of hacks.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the Fuck is Wrong with all Coinz ? ? ? ? ? on: November 30, 2016, 05:07:18 PM
All coins suck completely
Whats wrong Huh
Why no future Huh
How slowly is humanity progressing if not even tech can do a little anything Huh

because this humanity that you are talking about is only thinking about how they can progress the amount of money in their pocket not improving technology.
and the result is combination of 2-4 letters making a new name with the same code with small differences pump and dumping it every day.
2784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Newbie on: November 30, 2016, 05:03:11 PM
C-cex is one of the most ok trading site..
When the peice is pump sell and when the price is dump just buy a coin Smiley
Remember don't trust new coin

lol i don't trust c-cex, i have an account in it and some coins of course, then I was inactive for almost 6 to 8 months, when i log back after months of hiatus all my coins are gone.  Now tell me how can I turst an exchange like this.

really? did your account get hacked or did they just zero out your balance? and was those coins by any chance dead coins which are delisted every now and then because that would be the only possible explanation.

in case they have emptied your coins like BTC, LTC or other alive coins then you should open up a scam accusation against them otherwise it is the normal way of things happening on all exchanges and not restricted to c-cex to remove everything about a de-listed coin including the balance because they remove the wallet and blockchain and everything from their servers.
2785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Bitcoin and Chinese Yuan Values Correlate? on: November 30, 2016, 04:57:02 PM
Chinese influence the Bitcoin price a big time. Like someone has already said here they are probably the bigest miners at the moment so this is a natural cause. If Bitcoin and Yuan correlate this is not random and accidental. It seems like Chinese are trying to get control over the Bitcoin.

That's true, they are heavily invested in it. Not sure if they want to control it, but they do have influence over it.

they can never control it because it is already out of one group of people's control because of the spread that bitcoin has. people all around the world has bought bitcoin and there are small to big investors everywhere. there are the same number of whales on bitfinex,... as there are on okcoin,... don't let the comparison of volumes fool you otherwise there are more reasons for volume differences.
2786  Other / Meta / Re: Can One have charity donation collection through this forum?? on: November 30, 2016, 04:43:59 PM
its a good if this forum have one wallet that will be using for charity donation and send the donation into the poor country. but for to do this, i think we need to make a legacy from the government that this charity foundation is legal.

if we are going to make the donations to a centralized place then it is best if that place is a real legit charity organization with positive results. for example i have been reading about Sean's Outpost and it seems like a decent place with real results. forum on the other hand would always have the issue of trust.
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 27, 2016, 03:19:53 PM
These results re just pure luck, there s no way anyone ll see 1000 BTC lost by one single person again as it happened on Betking a few months ago. So these graphs represent PURE LUCK and nothing more.

gambling is always pure luck so investing in a gambling site (against the gamblers) is also pure luck. that is an obvious enough fact that everybody knows. but that doesn't mean you can not make profit in the long run. the only thing that you should do is to find a good site which is both popular and fair and then invest what you can afford to lose.
So there's no math in investing you mean? I guess not, we analyze that we have the edge so we invest, otherwise we will not invest only when it's base on luck and instead we gamble with our own money so when we win in can give good return.

Exactly, all types of investment scheme requires analytics that is abviously can be performed by mathematics. Investor's do not invest just because they feel so, Investment promoters should give it's benefits and strategies then let the investor decide.

you analyze the best way you can but in the end you should accept the fact that you have invested in a casino which is related to gambling so there is always risk that someone gets super lucky no matter the house edge.

you can look at the history of this topic to see how many times this happened and OP has lost money.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 27, 2016, 03:12:43 PM
i am follow with you sir and since gambling is prohibited in my country, i will prefer in online gambling and i will use vpn when i am playing gambling so i think it will be easy for me to play.
All that for what ? Just making a few bucks out of your crappy luck ? Get a real Job,mate.Btw VPN's is not as secure as you think,if your country really is against the online gambling scene, they can pressure the VPN service through laws and get your ip logs out.

i don't think so bro, because i am playing gambling is not for the money, i only playing gambling for fun, and i am not very often to playing gambling maybe its only once in a week or two week. if i can win the games, then i will consider that is a bonus for me. i know that VPN is not as secure, but as far as i am using VPN, its really works for me.
See if you are playing for fun, then you can actually play with play money or simply games and your country would actually happily allow it. The issue is when  gambling is done for money and that's where laws come in between, because as far as i know no country would ban its people or punish them because they played games lol for fun.

one of the major components of gambling is the money and the risks that you take with the money if you remove the money from this equation there will be no more fun in playing it. as there is always little fun playing with faucet payment on these dice sites.

Also for ZECD i want to sell it but i cannot since its sutcked to 1 satoshi. Any ideas how to treat this one?

i have no idea what that coin is but if it is worth 1 satoshi i have to tell you it is already dead and stop wasting your time with it!

Thank you for your answers all of you! I should have asked for advice before purchase.

Another thing i wanted to ask you is about walls.

ZECD@YoBit has 10 days a SELL order of 82.000.000 amount of coins at the price of 1 satoshi.

Could you please explain to me why such a thing occured?
I mean what is the idea behind of such an action by someone?

Thank you.

i checked it out for you and i am sorry to say that it looks like that coin is finished for good and at this point the only thing that is going to change about it is the size of the 1 satoshi wall on the sell orders because miners are mining more and there is only one place to sell it and nobody seems to be buying this coin.

if you were holding a small amount i would have told you to keep it but since you seem to have bought 100euros worth of this coin i say if you wait there is like 1% chance of it getting pumped again and 99% that you can never sell it even for 1 satoshi.
2790  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: November 27, 2016, 02:49:40 PM
when you invest in something there is no point in selling it all even if you think price is going down.
it should be like this, you have your long term investment and keep holding it and if you reach a certain amount of profit which you think it is decent enough for a cash out then you sell enough that satisfies you and keep the rest.

and in any case unless you need your money badly or know prices are going to crash you never cash out everything even if price goes down a little.
2791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private key? on: November 27, 2016, 02:43:55 PM
How to define it as 2FA? Thank you for answering me as quickly

since you don't know what it is then it means you don't have it, so don't worry about it.

2FA is an additional way of securing your account on blockchain.info which you have to enable separately inside the settings.

just go back to https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/login and log in your account using the "Wallet-ID" and "password"

if you have generated that address with your account there you are going to see it in your wallet and be able to spend from it.
2792  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is no reason for small price changes, Stop looking! on: November 27, 2016, 02:38:15 PM
Well if you are into day-trading these small changes are what will make you money. Every bit of info is somehow important IMO.

Day trading is a recipe to lose money, if you don't trace the market closely. You might make pennies for a few days, but if a huge move catches you off guard, all your earnings can be wiped out.

i disagree.
i gave short term trading a try for a while a couple of months back when i had more time and i have to say it is not as bad as you think.
you can make profit but you still need to read the market movement and make your decisions that way but instead of looking at long term you should consider everything in a much shorter time.

the problem with it is the big amount of time it consumes, which is not exactly compatible with my scheduled.
2793  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 27, 2016, 02:33:17 PM
A huge price increase because this will drive attention and a lot of people will get in,also the trading will increase really much and after some time it will stabilize and then it will have room for even more grow.So a price increase I think will be the better option but either of them to happen will be great for BTC.It's hard to tell which will be first but I guess we just have to predict for now
A price increase will bring new people to bitcoin but I think we need more long term users of bitcoin rather than more traders and speculators trying to profit from bitcoin.

for that we are going to need new merchants accepting bitcoin as payment. without it there will only be speculators who are trying to make have bitcoin short term until they make profit and then sell and get out duping the price fast.

the mass adoption is what we want.
2794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private key? on: November 27, 2016, 02:28:00 PM
I bought bitcoins via post money orders, I gave money in cash with my itcoins address and I received the money on my wallet

How you have generated that bitcoin address? I mean have you generated using some services like bitaddress.org and than you have imported that to blockchain.info wallet? If so than i think you have actually scanned bitcoin address while importing so it remain as watch only address, you should have scanned private key when importing before. Hope you have printed out bitcoin address detail.... If not i think your bitcoin will stuck in that address and you will not have access to it.
I generated this itcoins address by creating an account on blockchain.info

then go to blockchain.info and sign in with the credential it gave you (the wallet ID and your password and if you set it your 2FA) and then you have access tho your funds and private keys there not any other place.
2795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 26, 2016, 10:25:06 AM
some people are like this, i have encountered a couple of them in my life too. they resist any kind of change and anything that looks new in their lives and this is not limited to bitcoin.

don't worry too much because this is not just about bitcoin most of the times. but you can keep on trying.

for example how about setting up a bitcoin wallet for him and showing him how he can use bitcoin or at least have some as an investment to make profit in the future. show him some price charts and you can even give him some bitcoin what you can afford like 0.1-0.5BTC as an investment.
2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ZECD and LSK goinf to pump again? on: November 26, 2016, 10:20:14 AM
I was a newcomer to trading and bought LSK an ZECD.

you shouldn't just buy random coins and hope for a profit because this is the way to failure.

Quote
How long by your opinion will take LSK to rise to 27000 ? it must not be long

there have been some pumps happening with lisk but they are all small and i have yet to see any big pump in this coin. so if you are expecting too high a price then i suggest you lower your expectations.

2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth Behind New Altcoins on: November 26, 2016, 10:16:43 AM
Its not already a new thing for me but for those newbies out there for sure they dont have enough knowledge to trace this kind of doings on which most new coins or altcoins as of todays are just total crap or trash. Thats why investing on them especially on ICO will somehow hesitates me to put up money because of these circumstances but when i saw a coin which really do have the potential and roadmaps thats the time i will put my money on.
Most altcoins now in the market are just total garbage and most of them are in Yobit website which are sleeping and dumping all themselves on that place. Its not really a shocking news related to this alts but there are some altcoin as of today who remains strong inspite of having previous issues like on ETH ETC.You could able to determin which coin is good and garbage if you do proper research.

i gave up on researching about altcoins some time ago when i started to realize everything you read is a lie and a hype or at least most of what you read is like that.

this means when you for example read the announcement topic of the altcoins or read some of the speculation topics, you and then come back to what you read after some time has passed you realize why they were saying that particular thing at that time.

it is all a scheme to make the altcoin look good and then pump it while it is hot and dump while people are caught up in the hype.
2798  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: November 26, 2016, 10:10:27 AM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?

government created cryptocurrency is the worst idea of all times and it will stay the same even in the future. there will surely be so much change in the future in our monetary systems for sure, specially since you are talking about 100 years from now but one of the benefits of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin for example is that they are decentralized which makes it a lot better than anything government issues.
2799  Economy / Speculation / Re: Friday, January 20, 2017, let's pay attention to that date on: November 26, 2016, 10:03:16 AM
From where I stand, I dont see the relevance of what the swearing-in of Donald Trump will have on the price of Bitcoin. His winning of the election have effect on Bitcoin and even much more things so I dont see anything changing, he is just coming into office maybe after few months and decisions and rules are rolling in, then I agree that this may have effect on Bitcoin.

well anything that gets hyped up can have effects on bitcoin price and the Donald Trump presidency and the future of crypto currencies have been getting hyped up a lot from the beginning of the election of US. and i believe it is partly because of the fact that he is a business man and is thinking about improving US financially and that may have good effects on bitcoin price also as more people invest in it.
2800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: November 26, 2016, 09:58:16 AM
thinking you don't have to pay any taxes just because you are using bitcoin to make money instead of fiat is a naive way of thinking because sooner or later government will get you and you will end up paying much more fees that you would have if you had submitter your tax forms on your own.

it is best that everyone consults a financial expert or at least a lawyer (or whatever a tax consultant is called in english) to find out more about what they have to do in their own country instead of relying on what they read on the internet.
