281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens? Like I do? on: January 27, 2019, 03:13:25 AM
I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I’m having meetings with projects leaders, big companies, and trading platform, trying to find the best solution for all of us. Would love to hear your situation, thoughts, and ideas.
well i do hold unibright and i do think they do have a great project and also great team which for me it would be a long term investments, but they do have a low volume and i do think it will takes time, until the platform are being use by big company.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the inflation killer :-> on: January 26, 2019, 09:28:48 PM
I think what you are saying is very controversial. Yes, Bitcoin by nature is a deflater, but still it is not widespread as the usual fiat money. Plus its legal status is still under question in many countries and jurisdictions. I am optimistic about future of cryptocurrency, not sure about Bitcoin though.
Yes its true and also i believe there is many people whom are not unfotunate and buy bitcoin at high price which make them lose money instead.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: January 26, 2019, 07:22:37 AM
As we experienced for the past few months, crypto market price is still declined and maintain its position.

For me, i really believed that somehow their are big people or personalities behind it,who controlling the crypto market, it's a some sort of strategy for them to be able to gain huge profit.
Yeah it might be true but in my opinion we are in state of development and were are on the road of mass adoptation. Many big company are started to think that blockchain are crucial and can help their businesses and many of them started to tokenized their businesses.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Japan on: January 25, 2019, 04:33:19 PM
We know that Asia is crypto-mad, and this article shows that Japan may well lead the way to mass-adoption through retail payments.

https://cryptomenow.com/why-japan-could-become-first-major-crypto-market-to-see-mainstream-merchant-adoption/
I believe many retailer are started to sell and accept payment using cryptocurrency. This means, people start to believe on it and crypto have a value that could be use for exchange and transactions. I do think soon bitcoin could replace gold as store of value.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: January 25, 2019, 04:16:02 AM
in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.
yes in future fiat would be replaced by crypto and i do believe by using crypto it would prevent money laundry and tax evasion. Goverments also will be much easier to track money of their people, i know its bad but i do think its also a good think.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung S10 Embedded with Cryptocurrency wallet on: January 25, 2019, 01:12:58 AM
Well, what do you think is the positive impact on the crypto industry, and at the same time what is the negative impact of it. It seems to me that cryptocurrency will be known because it will be use to a product by a big company and it will be on their upcoming latest phone, it will create awareness at the same time it can set aside those negative about crypto. What do you think?

Here is the link: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/2019/01/24/samsung-galaxy-s10-images-show-embedded-cryptocurrency-wallet/
I think more people are started to aware of the cryptocurrency and a big company such as samsung also provide a services that could help people using cryptocurrency which i think there will be more people using cryptocurrency in future. I do think its a good thing and i do believe in future every people will have a wallet in their phone.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: January 24, 2019, 01:06:26 PM
Sure ICO need to be regulated, investors protections is really low in ICO and so many fake ICO that just trying to get easy money from it. I do believe with good regulations ICO will become better and more people will trust it and it will prevent scammer to fund money from ICO.
288  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Altcoin lebih memikat on: January 20, 2019, 05:10:23 PM

289  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 20, 2019, 02:50:40 PM
Looking back at 2017 and 2018, one thing became clear and that is the never die attitude of the true Bitcoin investor/user. We are as stubborn and tough as a Honey Badger and we fight to the bitter end.

Ask yourself if any other disruptive technology like Bitcoin would have survived this long, bearing in mind that we are being attacked and challenged from all sides. <Governments and Banks and competitor coins>  Huh

We took these challenges like scaling and we ran with it and our developers came up with a novel solution <Lightning Network> and now we are getting back up and running with that.

Let's wake the Honey Badger within us and continue the fight to Bitcoin to Mars!  Wink
The market still uncertain, i think we bitcoin ETF decisions is really crucial and if its approved it will drive bitcoin price up. I also think with bakkt and fidelity that will enter cryptospace will bring a lot new player into crypto which i think it will make crypto a better choices for investments.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: January 20, 2019, 09:24:54 AM
What do you think will happen with the cryptocurrency in the future?
I think in future all payments will be done virtually by using cryptocurrency. I do also believe bank will change and support cryptocurrency and they will start to lend money by using cryptocurrency cause i think its more effective and good to prevent money laundry cause all data is recorded permanently.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 20, 2019, 03:47:37 AM
To kickstart crypto 2019 I decided to make a Bitcoin mini documentary: https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8

Things I talked about:

1. Bitcoin's intrinsic value
2. How it could help underdeveloped countries
3. How it could help developed countries
4. Censorship

Now I wanna ask your opinions on my main point which is:

"Bitcoin's intrinsic value is the amalgamation of the platform, its users, and its development."

Now I know some other more famous crypto influencers have mentioned things like decentralization, cost of production, etc., but I think those things are a means to an end and not the endgoal themselves. Like decentralization is for the purpose of censorship resistance and fraud prevention.

So you I wanna know your opinions guys. Agree or disagree doesn't matter as long as you explain your point. https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8

Bitcoin is just used for some reasons to people to make their self rich with this. And somehow a lot of people doesn't even care what could it do in the future.
I believe they just dont understand what bitcoin is and what the technology behind it could be in future. I believe with more education in future about blockchain and decentralized system it would make people think different and attract them into crypto space and especially bitcoin.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: January 19, 2019, 11:40:36 AM
I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?
No body knows whether bitcoin will be increasing again like 2017. But in my opinion its still a good choices to invest on bitcoin, lets take a look at the development of crypto right now, i think we got pretty much good things in 2019 such as bakkt, nasdaq dex exchange and many more custodial which will attract more investors into crypto world. So i do think its good idea to invest in crypto.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Stellar! on: January 17, 2019, 03:50:53 AM
Some person said bitcoin look like being death, so if it become true, but xlm won't death follow. This question seem confused but i want to know all your opinion about xlm's future?
I dont think bitcoin will be dead. Stellar have some potential in transactions sectors, XLM is like a ripple but i do think XLM is more transparant and better than xrp. I do think stellar did have a great product like a wallet, exchange and also a blockchain. I do expect XLM use will be increasing in future.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project? on: January 15, 2019, 04:03:55 PM
Can you help me choose projects? Last year I met 15 scam projects. very depressed.
I hope you not invest on it, there is a lot more scam projects out there and right now we are about to have a regulations about ICO which turn out to be STO. In 15 january malaysia did regulate it and i do think the best way to find a good project is by looking deep into whitepaper and maybe some advice from expert that you can found on ICObench or any where else like on trusted news.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 10, 2019, 02:46:06 PM
Last year saw many people predict BTC year-end prices, but nothing was validated with time. it is very difficult for BTC to reach predictable prices. Future price predictions fail to consider many factors and problems that may occur over time. Maybe, we can only estimate the value of assets for the next few days like weather experts.
Well every predictions is seems like a market manipulation, but i do believe good things will come eventually and blockchain should be something crucial that will lead market to big grow in future.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: January 10, 2019, 11:05:54 AM
I agree with you  that we will se a huge growth in the market after this correction but I don’t agree that it will be anytime soon I think atleast it will take between 12 - 18 months untill we see a real growth
Yes i do agree, i believe we need some catalyst that could boos the value of the entire market. I believe the use cases and adoptation of blockchain technology will make more people to become interested into cryptocurreny
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will STO survive? on: January 08, 2019, 11:03:43 AM
STO (Security token offering) is in my opinion a new trend for following years giving more confidence for investors who didn't participate in 2017/2018 crypto rush.
Yes its a new trends and with a proper regulations by SEC i believe it would be a great way to fund money like ICO.
I think that Security token offering partially will replace ICO. It is more attractive for investors. It will be more popular in the future.
Sure it will be and STO will become bigger and i believe in this year 2019 we will see so many STO and BTW ICO already death right now cause of regulations.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: USD will crash before BTC on: January 08, 2019, 06:42:00 AM
Read this very carefully https://www.marketwatch.com/story/stock-market-investors-its-time-to-hear-the-ugly-truth-2019-01-05

For years critics of U.S. central-bank policy have been dismissed as Negative Nellies, but the ugly truth is staring us in the face: Stock-market advances remain a game of artificial liquidity and central-bank jawboning, not organic growth. And now the jig is up.

It's a ponzi scheme, stupid!

They can't keep printing money forever. The markets are pumped by the FED.

World debt sits at U$ 250 trillion (!!!) right now:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/11/global-debt-hits-a-new-record-at-247-trillion.html

https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2018-lehman-debt/?srnd=premium

Nobody is going to pay this debt, EVER. It's never going to get paid. They will roll over, print more money, throw this to the next generation (it's a ponzi, new people need to keep coming in).

By the time our grandsons read this they will be working most their lives just to pay the FED balance sheet.

Its true that dollar is like a ponzi scheme and the goverments could keep making money as much as they want to, in order to make a stable economy (atleast thats what they said)  but i do think dollar is still strong and it would take a lot time for it to crash, cause so many people still depends on dollar and still use it for transactions.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 07, 2019, 04:24:18 PM
Because nobody knows when the market will start to rise. But, as I expected, this time not from Sales just stopped and watched the market and appreciate this time with I family on the grounds that in a few months the market will start to rise. So this time there is no compelling reason to offer. I don't know myself and I can't predict the increase. But if the coin that I hold is valid and worth holding, I better hold it or I have to cut my losses.
Well in my opinion if you think its worth to hold then just trust it. I do trying to invest as much as i could into coin that i believe would give a huge impact into crypto space in future. I do hold UNIBRIGHT and its been down more than 80% and yet i do think its still my best investments right now.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 07, 2019, 04:09:03 PM
The bitcoin need a miracle as the entire bitcoin market cap slumped down to $61 Billion.
We all need a miracle. Heck, the whole cryptocurrency market needs a miracle as the market cap slump to only $112 Billion.
The bitcoin market cap reached over $320 billion in December 2017 and the cryptocurrency market was at around $840 billion respectively.
What y'all got to say about the cryptocurrency market situation at the moment?

well last year indeed the biggest market correction and i do think its happened cause the ban of ico and uncertainity of regulations. I do think in 2019 we will see a good grow like 2017 did. There will be a lot of STO that trying to fund money and also many institutional investors will entering crypto space via bakkt and nasdaq.
