I done a small research to see actual funding rates at number of cards issuers. Here is what I found:
This is not much completed because there are many other companies that offer bitcoin debit cards services. Sprectocoin has some scam accusation in the past (not sure if this is still an open case). If I were you I would add Coinsbank and they have more than one type of bitcoin debit cards available for different reasons. |

If you invest in altcoins and you make exchange buy/sell orders then this is the risky part. Because you never know how high or how low will the exchange rate go, and I lost a lot because of high dumping. But if you invest in ICO then this is another thing, you should risk and search more about the project how it is going. |

We went like 15 dollars up in very short time. Looks like the days of the chinese dumps are over. Now everyone dumping coins is risking getting out of the game on this very stable 900-high 800$ floor, and in bitcoin the rocket can stat functioning at any given and if you are in the wrong side you'll miss all the fun.
One of the factors is the Chinese exchanges that have added the exchange fees there and I like this stage of bitcoin price. The recent increase of bitcoin makes me feel good because I was worried if bitcoin price is going fall down to $400 like before. |

Most countries like to have control over the money used within their borders. Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies challenge this authority. What Would Happen If Bitcoin Were Declared Illegal in the USA?
If Bitcoin were considered contraband would its black market value increase like some illegal drugs or would the value fall? What economic principals would be at work in this scenario and what type of logical arguments make sense?
The first thing that could happen is a crash price, many businesses would be forced to remove bitcoin from their system. Then many people have invested in bitcoin so they would start selling them or hold them illegaly. Yes, this is logical. US is world leader and any move from the US against bitcoin will severely damage the reputation of bitcoin and trust of people in it. Once trust is gone it is very difficult to built it again. If other countries join the band then situation will be difficult for bitcoin. However this is not going to happen because there are people in Trump cabinet who like/love the bitcoin/blockchain technology. If there are people in Trump's cabinet that love bitcoin/blockchain technology then this is a good news from the crypo industry. Let's hope that something good is gonna happen this year, the price is keeping rising, the block size probably will be increased... |

It seems your explanation is so strict for the customer, dude. But in fact, I just need 10 minutes to get a new card from my bank. Only provide my govermentID and I got a new card to change the old broken one.
It depends on the bank but usually, it takes a week or 10 days to get another one and you have to pay it. Does anybody know if any start/company has started producing such hardware NFC payment? |

I have a very specific question - does Coinbase not allow purchases via PayPal?
Their communities blog doesn't specifically say that this isn't allowed and searches on "the internets" hasn't produced much answer.

To use paypal you need to make some verification that mostly the same are needed in bitcoin exchanges (fiat<->btc). We know how things go through paypal and buyer can ask for a refund or chargeback even the buyer has received the btc. |

I suggest you add option of escrow acceptin in the thread too. rltim555 does not own these things that he is selling like gaming laptops, macbooks, iphones etc.. He is a reseller, and when I asked him for proof he sent me (even when I required pictures with my name and his name in front of the stuff I was looking to buy) The bad thing dealing with him (which I didn't) is that he does not accept escrow, but requires to send the money first which I didn't accepted. I think I have lose my time which I spend a lot talking with him but hope one day it will worth if I find someone near him. |
