Wanna make fast 15% money? Then order something from me in amazon.de (if you can't then amazon.com).
Receive it (make some photos for me) and then ship it to me, so in total I will pay 50%.
The deal is about $2k - $2.5k
422  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [Collection] Hardware Wallets on: December 25, 2016, 06:17:36 PM
I would suggest you add the Ledger HW1 because it is the cheapest hardware wallet (as far as I know)
And I would make to each of them best value rating in stars or something similar, what do you think?
423  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you know any ways of buying items on eBay with BTC? on: December 25, 2016, 06:11:51 PM
I've heard of all4btc but they have the sloppiest service I've ever seen, and the highest rates as well(8$ minimum or something ridiculous like that). I'm looking for some service that's quick and can be used to buy items of off eBay quickly. You guys know anything of the sort?

It depends on the amount you gonna spend in ebay, if it is high then I doubt you can do it quickly.
The quickest is through virtual debit card but I prefer to buy from individuals directly through escrow.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: December 25, 2016, 02:38:33 PM
The main reason now to buy bitcoin is to get a profit and with the recent change of 100 USD within the day this is gorgeous.
Profit was always the reason but soon there will be much more opportunities to spend bitcoins hopefully.
you are right. The main reason to buy bitcoin now is to earn a profit. you may be able to get a profit of $ 20- $ 100 in a few days. if you buy a lot of bitcoin, imagine, you might get a considerable profit. but, there is always a risk in this case, because the price may fall.

It was always not just now that the price has been increased comparing with the last week/months or last 3 years.
Every investment has it own risks and saying the truth bitcoin is risky too and the risk is really huge because we can't know when the price is going to rise and when is going to crash.
425  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] — the Fast, Secure and Reliable High Volume Bitcoin Mixer! on: December 25, 2016, 02:36:29 PM
@[banned mixer] good luck with your venture. Since you have published the addresses of your cold wallet what steps have you taken to prevent coinanalytics software from identifying and monitoring your send addresses? Once identified companies like Coinbase could close accounts for depositing bitcoin received from a mixing service.
I am not aware that the use of a mixing service is against the terms od use of a coinbase wallet. Can you link me to a referrence that makes you think they may close accounts for using mixers? I'm just curious. I'm using a similar wallet to coinbase but mixers is not against any of their terms.

I have seen several posts from reddit users who had difficulties with Coinbase because they used shapeshift or mixers will try to find the links.

I think that there are only few trusted members here that know the cryptomixer's addresses but not all of them.
Is there any place where we can see these addresses or it is not for public yet.
The were not released publiclybut only afaik to three trusted users here. One is Shorena and Lutpin, I don't know the other guy or if there is another guy.
You can see them sign a message proving that they received the addresses and verifed the reserve.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1484009.msg15350012#msg15350012

Yes I saw these but was worried about BitcoinNewsMagazine post which said that some of addresses are publicly.
I think it may not be safe for the users anyway coinbase does not tolerate their users to use some services.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: December 25, 2016, 01:16:10 PM
My mistakes are related with dogecoin and with shitcoins.
One mistake that I made was investing in a shitcoin with a good amount of bitcoin and holding them for a long time, after a while I couldn't sell them even for 1 satoshi and made me think more than twice before investing somewhere.

This is much better when compare to my mistake bro. I had a LBC account trade with member rank guy here in the forum but without escrow. He just looted money and not login again.

None of these are good so I wouldn't compare which one is better because it was a loss.
The online deals are very dangerous because it is easy to be scammed if we don't use trusted escrow.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Have Stolen Millions Of Dollars In Bitcoin -- Using Only Phone Numbers on: December 25, 2016, 12:53:12 PM
You can't outsource your computer/cryptocurrency security to a 3rd party like your phone carrier. It's a recipe for disaster.
The services are vulnerable too. 2FA isn't safe if you use it with your phone number.

How is 2FA not safe?
There two layers here, the password and the time password or 2FA which I consider the safest way when logging in somewhere.
As spoken by him 2FA is not so safe if you use 2FA through SMS verification. Didn't know whether 2FA which use software like google authenticator or similar could be compromised but news above in the main post is a proof that SMS verification could be compromised

I don't really think that some hackers can do things like this, tho this kind of method is not impossible, but this is very rare to happen, so everyone must be aware of this type of incident. Everyone must be careful especially to those who have huge funds with their web wallets.
Yeah you said some hackers can't do things like this but maybe the hackers which were mentioned in the news are the rest hackers who could

Then ok but I think that these two things are going together, first we put the phone number as a backup of the 2FA app
I use Authy and I have to give my phone number in case I forget the password or the password of this app (like Google Authenticator)

429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: San Francisco Metro System Hacked with Ransomware [Paid $70,000 in Bitcoin] on: December 25, 2016, 12:21:25 PM
I have updated the OP with some useful links where is helpful for everybody.
It's good to use an app like RansomFree to protect our PC(s) from ransomwares because it's really dangerous this kind of virus.
I guess it's good that tools like this exist for regular users who are more prone to falling victim to ransomware, but it's quite easy to protect yourself from it without having to use any tools.

1. Don't just download and open files from untrusted sources.
2. Add Noscript and uBlock to your browser and make sure you disable all external plugins like Flash and Java.

By following these simple rules the chances of getting infected should be absolutely minimal.

Simply when you are looking something and you don't think about the consequences then this happened.
Because if we look for a patch/crack then this can probably happen and we disable the antivirus to install the keygen Sad
430  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 25, 2016, 12:15:11 PM
Today I opened a new ticket for this "Buying bitcoin transaction failed." message. Now support replied that this request has been closed and merged with my request from 2 days ago for the message "your account is blocked. We're checking with the bank." But still no reply on that ticket.

So they close my ticket from today saying they merged it into a ticket from 2 days ago but still don't bother to reply on that ticket

This is some terrible support and as a new user I am not happy with this site at all.

It's a bit surprising that the OP hasn't replied to any user here for a while and as far as I know you aren't the first one.
They have closed many accounts recently and I think that the bank that they incorporate has made this so it is a bit messy to solve this.

what is the number of the ticket in question?

indeed, there are cases we are unable to resolve the issues ourselves (when those are related to the issuing bank, not to E-Coin/Wirex service itself) and have to wait for the bank to reply - sometimes it takes longer than expected

Don't know, ask him directly. I have received the email about new limits and new rules for unverified users.
Saying the truth there are lots of limits, I saw the same to other opponents but these are bank rules, not yours, good luck solving the recent issues.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever exchanged BTC face to face? on: December 25, 2016, 12:07:18 PM
I've been using BTC for a while. I've been using it at exchanges, to trade altcoins and to order goods over the Internet, but I've never exchanged BTC with someone in front of me. At a store or between friends, or family. This despite having had long conversations about BTC with various kinds of people, and attending a few meetups.

Who has exchanged BTC F2F?

I have exchanged bitcoin face to face and not always is "perfect" becuase it is not just a sale but a conversation.
People ask how you earn them, what do you do etc but at the end you are getting cash which is the best part of course.

I suppose it isn't a perfect scenario if you're simply looking for a fiat fix but with bitcoin still such a new idea and a tiny proportion of the world using it, it is these conversations that will ultimately help bitcoin's adoption and growth the most.

Maybe even you can learn something=)

By talking with others in person yeah it is good for the bitcoin and its adoption and it's good to advertise the bitcoin itself.
But I try to sell as less as possible because we see how much has the bitcoin price reached recently.

433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New video: Keeping Bitcoin and Altcoins at 50/50! on: December 23, 2016, 02:24:16 AM
Enjoy Cool

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkGtt2HNaaw

Summary:

In the past I have striven for a larger allocation to alts than to bitcoin as their risk/reward ratio is bigger but I have come to realize that due to the high correlation of alts to eachother and even to Bitcoin, my overall risk of my portfolio has gone up too much, hence why I decided to keep it at 50/50 each.

Keep It Up! I like your videos and this one the environment on which you recorded it.
I prefer to make some room that I can change this 50/50 and make it 70/30 or even 80/30.
Bitcoin is risky too but recently it is surprising me and even 90/10 is not a bad idea honestly.

438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC38 hot wallet got hacked and lost 1.5 million on: December 23, 2016, 01:18:24 AM
RMB = CNY, seems that this hack hasn't affected the bitcoin price today, contrariwise the bitcoin price has been increased today for 100 USD
It's bad to hear like this news about hacks and especially related to exchanges which are very sensitive and hacker's target, that's why nowadays the security is the most important thing in an exchange.

Anyone here knows anything about virtual phone numbers and how to obtain one?
I heard they need no sim card.

Search in google and you will find many results but you have to try them if the website/service that you are going to use accepts them or not.
You can try also google voice but I doubt that it will work for you. The best one is to have real SIM and use that.
