This is what a hero looks like.

That's great to hear, glad it's doing well Smiley
Any idea what the new price will be?

I do still really think your site needs a redesign. I recommend looking on jobs4bitcoins.reddit.com , I've seen people do great work for ridiculously low prices.
Nope, cant say anything definite untill I see what the monkeys rolling the dice at customs end up charging me... it's supprisingly random at times.

The problem with redoing the site is not finding someone to do it for cheap. It's finding someone I trust, which asfar as my reputation goes is me and no one else.
283  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 500 years, what will history say about this point in time right now? on: June 08, 2013, 11:17:52 PM
I'll play:

The original whitepaper and most of these forums are considered holy texts. Mythical overlay, countless rewrites and translations over centuries have however transfomed it beyond reckognition when compared to what we see today. Satoshi will have traveled aroud the globe at the speed of light, risen the dead and cured the sick. I'll also toss in a prophecy about Deathandtaxes making the cut for first apostol. Also the original pizza-deal will now be worth more than the whole eurasian continent.

Noted. Said establishment made my "list".

I would be using e4btc right now to make a purchase. But I cannot find enough information to judge them trustworthy. Having the only thread available in german hardly helps as google translate is being a bastard with it. The reddit post I found does not have a single review Sad

Just wondered what cost to environment of all these computers using power to mine bitcoin until all coins are mined.  Has anyone come up with any estimates?
Far less than your bank. Exponentially less than all banks. Next to infinitely less than all banks, money transmitters and llikes put together.
290  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Look at this link - I think it's a very positive change in policy for MTGox on: May 30, 2013, 03:13:49 PM
I see this being a step to meet the somewhat ambuguous regulatory rules that might or might not apply to their buisness, especially in the US. I see nothing negative in it.
291  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: btctrinkets.com - Bitcoin niche items. on: May 30, 2013, 02:51:59 PM
The one bitcoin challenge coin has sold out, another batch has been ordered and will be available in a week or so production is taking longer than expected, assuming another week. This also means that my production costs for it have lowered which will be reflected on the price.

I somewhat like the idea.
293  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmit - Bitcoin shopping mall - Bitcoin market place - Bitcoin auction house on: May 21, 2013, 03:09:06 PM
I won an Iphone 5 on the site and the seller isn't even responding. There should be some sort of penalty for reneging.
Give feedback.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: List of bitcoin hostile banks. [edit] mod please consider stickying this thread on: May 18, 2013, 03:45:05 PM
anyone can verify this by contacting the bank about opening an account for a bitcoin related buisness, perhaps someone fluent in german could do this ?

I will translate anything you want to German if anyone wants to do this.

Which bank? We could possibly do this too.

"Sofort Bank                                      Germany                  Proof was given to me in a private message I will not publish, unless it's sender gives me the go ahead, my source tells me anyone can verify                                                                                                                       this by contacting the bank about opening an account for a bitcoin related buisness, perhaps someone fluent in german could do this ?"

I'd appreciate a verification on that.
295  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Is it possible to run a 6950 and a 5870 on the same pc (Windows 7) on: May 17, 2013, 07:44:10 PM
Crossfire would not work and is in no way necessary or even recomended for mining.
296  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BIPS.me – Free Merchant Solutions and Mobile eWallet - 45 Supported Currencies on: May 15, 2013, 06:02:45 PM
[edit] This post now contains my whole experience with bips so far.

Im a merchant using bips and their payment module for my web shop. After using their payment module for a while I started wondering why the incoming amounts and my account balance did not add up to exactly the same amount. My initial ticket took quite long to get a response so I did the usual and made the matter public. Something I do not regret btw.

The following is my conclution:
For a merchant who that wishes to keep the incoming funds in bitcoin using bips's payment module is free. The setup to achieve this is: behind the merchant link (in your account) uncheck tick box "customer pays conversion" and set "when sales are made keep x% of bitcoin in my account to the obvious 100%.
Bips will charge you the network fees on outgoing bitcoin transactions on your account. They are not visible in the "ledger" when you log in, but rather behind the importable versions.

It's clear BIPS's customer service could of have been swifter and documentation more clear. But I have to conclude they are not in any way stealing from me as I initially feared. I will continue using them and would recomend their service to others too.

TLDR; Op was concerned BIPS was stealing from him, this is not the case.
