I think there's been a misunderstanding, some people are maybe expecting an announcement today as DarkSilk was originally slated to launch tomorrow, but Spencer's already explained it might be mid next week now. You're right that polo will need to do a code review, but it's not like it's a new code base or anything so it shouldn't take too long. I can't see why polo wouldn't add it in the circumstances.

Because of the way the system's designed (assuming it works as planned) it almost has to reach that price eventually. If the minimum price for Darksilk means it starts with a market cap of at least $1m, then the price of Silk will have to be around 3x what Silkcoin is now just to achieve parity. And I'd be surprised if Darksilk's market cap doesn't start out quite a bit higher. This is why whoever sold that big chunk at 1050 sats, if they aren't already, is going to be absolutely kicking themselves in a few weeks time.

Maybe you could use a small portion of the premine to run a signature campaign for the duration of the ICO, they seem to be a really effective way to get the word out on here.

I just updated to the latest version and am now unable to access my account.

I tried to join the slack but https://steem.herokuapp.com/ is offline for maintenance.

When I try to unlock the wallet with my password now I get the following error:
digital envelope routines:EVP_DecryptFinal_ex:wrong final block length

Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

Edit: I could try importing the key into a new wallet. Could anyone tell me where the old wallet files are located so I can back them up and delete them?

What you're asking about is presumably the main topic of the white paper, but with Silk launching at the end of the month you shouldn't have to wait long to get your answers.
