Lykke Wallet Implements Segwit Addresses
Segwit addresses have been implemented in Lykke Wallet. This update causes the change of bitcoin depositing address. Legacy addresses are still functional but will be supported for a limited period of time. Please check your new wallet address and use the segwit address from now on to make sure the deposit is successful.

Segwit, and segwit address specification in particular, are the initiatives to improve the throughput and transaction processing speed of Bitcoin blockchain. New address specifications are described in BIP: 141 documents.

To check your new segwit address, open your Lykke Wallet, select Assets screen, press + next to BTC asset and select Blockchain Transfer. Your new segwit address to deposit BTC is displayed in the bottom and also coded in the QR on the screen.

I have requested fiat withdrawal of all my money and my balance was cleared, but I haven't got a confirmation email, so I am bit worried. Is this normal?

Fiat withdrawals are processed manually, you'll get a confirmation once it's approved by the finance department.

Lykke to support VALID ITO
Lykke, a Swiss FinTech company building a global marketplace on the blockchain, will provide support for the VALID token sale. VALID is the latest project of Procivis AG, a blockchain-based provider of government-trusted electronic ID solutions from Switzerland.

The Initial Token Offering (ITO) will help to fund VALID, a new type of digital wallet that enables users to manage and monetize their personal data in a fully secure and controlled environment. “Lykke was the clear choice for us from the beginning,” said Daniel Gasteiger, Procivis co-founder and CEO. “They are one of the most renown companies in the blockchain ecosystem, with first-hand experience in token sales, both for themselves and in support of other projects.”

“I have known Daniel Gasteiger, the founder of Procivis for several years and admire him for his integrity and vision of making blockchain technology for the people at large,” added Richard Olsen, Lykke founder and CEO. “Procivis reinvents government services in the age of Internet and blockchain, so it is only natural that we have entered into a partnership with Procivis.” Lykke’s involvement in the VALID ITO includes technology support, technology review, FX service, and business support.

The Crowdsale will start on 24th of February 2018. For further information about the project visit www.valid.global

Frustrating.  Sad

Hey, hope it's resolved by now, it was a temporary network congestion issue, most of the queue cleared right away.

Important update about the Lykke Card
Ever since we announced the Lykke Card in late 2017, it became one of our most anticipated offerings for the new year. Being able to draw from your Lykke Wallet through an ordinary debit card is an important step toward the broader acceptance of cryptocurrencies in a world that’s beginning to pay attention. More importantly, it’s just plain fun.

As some of you might know from recent news stories, Visa has ended their partnership with WaveCrest, a prominent digital payment processor for cryptocurrency-related ventures. This development has affected many companies, including Bitwala, BitPay, Cryptopay, and London Block Exchange, as well as Lykke. It’s sad to say, but we must temporarily delay issuing the Lykke Card while we work around this short-term challenge.

There are no plans to cancel the Lykke Card. It’s coming soon to your physical wallet. You just might need to wait a little longer for it to get here.

As soon as we have the new release date, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Thank you for your continued patience!

Lykke partners with Government of Bangladesh
Zurich, Switzerland | January 10, 2017—Lykke, a Swiss FinTech company building a regulated global marketplace on the blockchain, has signed an agreement with the Access to Information (a2i) Programme of the Prime Minister’s Office of Bangladesh for the joint development of blockchain technology to power digitized public services.

“Lykke is honored to partner with Bangladesh and proud to play a role in this transformative effort,” said Richard Olsen, Lykke founder and CEO. “Blockchain technology holds the potential to reduce the time, cost, and effort required to access vital public services online, including financial services, but also identification, land records, and so on. We believe that this will truly accelerate many of the advancements that the Government of Bangladesh has already made in these areas. It can also help to establish a model for other countries to emulate.”

The signing ceremony took place during the International Seminar on South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Innovation of Public Services, a workshop hosted by a2i and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) from December 9–11 at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In attendance were H.E. Mr. Reaz Rahman, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs; Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals from the Prime Minister’s Office; Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General (Administration) of the Prime Minister’s Office and Project Director of a2i; and Mr. Anir Chowdhury, a2i’s Policy Advisor.

Why are transactions being delayed until the 9th confirmation in the bitcoin network?

What're the open hours of your support?

Support is active all day but mostly follows CET time. I haven't heard from any issues regarding delays in Bitcoin network other than the ones we all know about recently (slow and expensive). Did your deposit finally arrive?

Lykke Changes Ethereum Trading to Centralized
Lykke Exchange has successfully changed the operational mode to centralized for ethereum trading wallets. The seamless transition took place on January, 3. Ethereum funds stored in users’ multisignature trading wallets were transferred to a centralized hotwallet. The change does not affect Lykke Wallet UX, the trading process in the app remains the same.

Ive sent BTC to my trading wallet.I can see this transaction in the history and the status is confirm, but my balance is still empty. It was 2 days ago and couple hours before lykke got down. I wrote to the support and they just sent me this massage :
"To deposit BTC to your trading
multisignature wallet, please use the following address:....."
Lol ty. like it was my fault.
I know couple people with the same problem. Now I afraid that it was not a temporary mistake.

I've received a PM from you but it says "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later. The thing you were trying to post was saved as a draft. This limit decreases substantially as your account becomes more established"

Please post your ticket number here as you have a newbie account and the forum is trying to prevent spam.

I'm not aware of any BTC issues besides the ones inherent to it (slow confirmations, etc), can you please send me your ticket number by PM and I'll inquire further? Thanks!

I bought some btc with euro.. the euro is still showing but unavailable. The btc isn't showing at all. What's up with lykke?

Hey kawacaki, it should be resolved soon, thanks for the patience.

"After the extraordinary maintenance caused by an external factor (cpu vulnerability & MS Azure maintenance), we have a queue of pending card deposits & around 1500 ETH transactions. Our dev team is working on it. ETA: by the end of the day CET. We apologize for the inconveniences."

Migration is finished, Lykke Exchange is functional. A few things still need to be “polished”. Expect some temporary issues for the next upcoming hours while it all goes back to normal.

does anybody know how long the maintance will take? i have a lot of open orders and i need to cash out, so now i am waiting two days and there is no information how long it will take to finish the maintanance. for me this is not the way i am pleased to operate on an platform. it has to be clear what is happening when

The unfortunate situation is that Lykke has no control about it - it's about the Intel-Problem and Microsoft Azure. Latest tweet:

The #CPUvulnerability is industry-wide and hence, not #Lykke-specific.
The current maintenance is unplanned, as we were first instructed by MS #Azure on Jan 4. Our devs are implementing a solution suitable for our architecture: we are migrating our system. http://www.datacenterdynamics.com/content-tracks/security-risk/intel-amd-and-arm-respond-to-chip-security-flaws-as-more-details-on-meltdown-and-spectre-revealed/99537.article

https://twitter.com/lykke/status/949227173000437761

As tempus mentioned the issue is strictly related to MS Azure which is in direct contact with Lykke and many other clients as it needs to update their platform/service because of recent Intel vulnerabilities. They already tried to do so a few times but still have minor setbacks so Lykke developers have started system migration to a new empty environment. It's expected most app functions to be available by the end of the day.

I'll keep the thread posted but you can follow all other social media channels at Twitter, Reddit, Telegram & Slack.

Hello. I'm sorry to be that guy that creates an account and his first post is a complaint but I need help.

It's been almost 8 days since I bought $900 in ETH on Lykke. I've used lykke since june and this is the first time this happens. However, the 'support' I've received has been zero. 2 or 3 days after placing a ticket, I got a response indicating 'the team is working on a solution', yet nothing happens.

Tried calling them but no one "was available".

I need an answer here, why are you stopping me from getting my own money? I don't get it.

The order went through. You got my USD. I can't withdraw.and by the way, it's lost 100 USD in value since then.

Please help me out with this.

Please DM your ticket number and I'll inquiry about the status, there are some issues with ETH settlement/smart contract functionality, most have been solved by now but until Ethereum implementation moves to the centralized model I'm afraid some isolated issues could happen from time to time.

Hello mtnsaa, thanks for providing a way of contacting support.

I'm waiting for my purchases since December 21st.

Ticket numbers are:
(32468) & (33125)

Please help me out with this.

*sent a DM but got no response.

Hi, sorry for the delay, your issue was escalated to the dev team, there are a few users with the same issue. Hopefully it will be solved soon with the migration to a centralized model of Ethereum smart contract implementation. Bitcoin already did and I haven't heard of any issues as of now.

300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: (LKK) LYKKE speculation on: December 29, 2017, 09:57:15 PM
Very disappointing news regarding the change from a semi-decentralized exchange to a centralized one. The price of the original Lykke shares has now gone down to under 25 cents. Had an initial investment of equal value been placed in any of the other major ICOs or existing cryptocurrency coins/tokens there would have been far more growth than what we have seen with Lykke. I'm not sure Lykke will recover from this latest news, let alone reach the potential many originally thought it had.

We have to remember the move is temporary (although a viable solution could take months) and Lykke remains focused on delivering all the promises and core parts of its identity including decentralization, direct ownership and instant settlement. It's just that with the current state of blockchain technology that's just not possible to deliver. It's possible but at what cost? The negative side effects were experienced by both the company and its users (in terms of costs and resources and bad user experience).

And while being a semi-decentralized exchange was a very unique selling proposition as mentioned, Lykke can become profitable right now which will benefit the company (by reinvesting its revenue) and its shareholders (by paying dividends). Having a centralized model will make it much easier to add new digital assets therefore aiming at improving daily volume.
