No evidence whatsoever that my government want to "kill" bitcoin.  Roll Eyes
282  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The "secret" to blockchain success: There is no secret on: July 24, 2018, 02:08:49 PM
I think you are on the right track. So many people come here to "get rich". It takes a reason, not just a desire. It takes work to make something of value, and risk. So if you want to gain value then do something . Create a killer app. Use bitcoin to disrupt an antiquated business model in some industry. Figure out how to get bitcoin going among the un-banked. These sorts of things are worth billions.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is Back, suggests Fortune on: July 17, 2018, 07:23:54 PM
Everything Satoshi wanted to say has been said in code.

288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Ma said Blockchain was a great but Bitcoin is A Bubble on: June 29, 2018, 01:50:22 PM
Oh my God!!! A guy somewhere said something!!! OMG, OMG.
Oh wait, it's all good. Another guy somewhere else said the opposite, so they have canceled each other out.   Cheesy

Is that how you think the economy works?
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: June 28, 2018, 06:36:32 PM
Oh the kids!!!  Cry
I could care less if bitcoin is being used for illegal activity. Any money worth anything is used for crime.   Cool
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin, What it is and what it does? on: June 28, 2018, 06:33:03 PM
It is the fastest, cheapest, and most secure way to send money around the world.
Because it is an unchangeable open source algorithm it can be trusted. It is not under the control of any bank, government, or individual. Nobody can make you use it or keep you from using it.

The best place to start is to read the "white paper". You will find a link to it below in my sig.
291  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cashing out bitcoin income paid under the table on: June 28, 2018, 06:25:58 PM
I'd like to start this off by saying I am really young and have never had to deal with taxes, I'm also new to Bitcoin.

So lets say I get paid under the table (off the books) in Bitcoin, could I simply claim that the Bitcoin was mined by me, pay capital gain tax (or equivalent of that in my country) for selling the Bitcoin, and be safe? There's no way to prove I mined the Bitcoin myself (especially if I claim I do not have access to the wallet anymore), surely I can't get in trouble for that?
Every moment of a bitcoin balance is recorded forever in the blockchain. I would not make up stories because if you ever were called out for it the lie could be the wort part. Consider what you will say when it is determined that the block containing your coin was mined in Iceland. How did you mine these in Iceland? And what additional taxes are owed to the government in Iceland?
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: June 27, 2018, 01:11:21 PM
When you and others cause it to happen the bear market will end. There is no reason for a higher valuation at the moment. If you wrote to Amazon and insisted they take bitcoin, things could change. But a community of people sitting around asking each other "What's going to happen next?". That does not justify a bull run in the market.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: June 26, 2018, 03:41:50 PM
Sure, why not trade gold for dirt too?  Cheesy
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about bitcoin on: June 25, 2018, 02:15:52 PM
I see some of your point. But bitcoin is just fine. People are attracted to false claims about gold all the time. It has nothing to do with gold if you are foolish enough to to buy paper gold or whatever. If you just buy bitcoin and use it as a currency then you have no risk. It is only when you get distracted by alts, ICOs or any of the hundreds of scams involving crypto. But ignore all that and just keep it simple,

296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people in crypto still wish the downfall of Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2018, 11:11:13 PM
I think a lot of people feel like they missed out on getting rich with bitcoin and yearn for a redo. A new coin that they can get in on the bottom floor of. It has worked to some extent with other alts. But the important part for survivability in a cryptocoin ecosystem is utility. A coin like ETH can do smart contracts, and so has Superior utility in that regard. But most alts are not useful and very often exist for no other reason than exploiting people. Others are basically script-kitty clones of bitcoin that work okay, but are not really needed.

It could be that new code brings blockchain currency to the next level, or even that a completely different idea about how to do a trustless cash system dominates. Whatever happens I think will not really be changed by peoples likes and dislikes.  The winning money has to win people over and work best.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Introduced in Kenya for the First Time on: June 22, 2018, 04:32:46 PM

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: June 22, 2018, 04:23:52 PM
It is best to have no alt coins, lol.
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to $5,900.... on: June 22, 2018, 04:17:06 PM
This is it, every single indicator that offered some hope for the bulls has been broken. We have now entered into a very strong and confirmed long term bear market. No, this is not a BUY NOW warning, this is a SELL NOW warning.Maybe consider to buy back when it reaches around $3500 maybe and more around $1000. It's a matter of weeks or few months at best for a better pportunity.

For now it will be a slaughterhouse like never before. 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT! Guess what that means, ask yourself, why do the biggest supporters of bitcoin want out?!

It's weak to create an alt account then quote yourself as though you said something important. Obviously you have no way of knowing who is selling what so this is all bull shit. At least try harder. Your lies are not good enough to be taken seriously
