Not to mention anyone, but i'm surprised to see people with worse post quality than me being accepted in the campaign while i'm not given a slot.
Anyway, good luck with the campaign, manager.

285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help Me! on: December 03, 2017, 10:37:17 AM
You should have known what could be the outcomes of gambling. You whether win or lose. Now if you had won $50 with the capital, you would have been very happy with that, but because you lost your $50 capital, you are asking on how to get it back. It is simply not possible now, and that is the reason why they say, bet what you can afford to lose. Because after losing if you try to get them back, it would simply be like throwing a page in the fire and then trying to get it out with your hand. It will only burn your hand.
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too early vs late to buy bitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 10:29:50 AM
It is never late to buy Bitcoins, nor it is early anymore. Those people who really have the intention to invest in Bitcoin should not see its price, they should see its market movements and they will understand they won't regret their investments later in future. Bitcoin has been growing since its creation, and that is the reason why it reached $11k already and there is still a lot to come. So investing now should still not be considered late, and it is also not early as the investors had already lost many chances of getting profits out of it.
BTW, this thread was started in Oct 31, and now the price has grown too higher than what it was at that time. So the one's invested at that time must have already earned some profit by now.
287  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoins & On-line Retailing on: December 03, 2017, 09:44:27 AM
I think it is possible, but to be honest prices are quite high right now and fees are pretty much exorbitant. Sending just a few dollars will likely cost a huge chunk of the value due to fees. It will be plausible only if the platform will use other cryptocurrencies that have smaller transaction fees, like DOGE? Since those kinds of crypto have super small fees and its actually negligible.

Using another cryptocurrency in a e-store doesn't seem logical to me as no other cryptocurrency has a user-base like Bitcoin does. If a company or online store starts to accept another cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin just for the lower fees, they won't get a lot of customers using that currency. So if the time is not right in present, they should wait for some time until all the things get settled and the fees gets quite normal again and then they should start accepting Bitcoin, but i don't think using another digital currency can be a good idea for any store.

Are the funds escrowed for the signature campaign?

Of course not! Who are your guys that we will trust on $150k?
You don’t even trust yourself investing $5.

There are a lot of trusted people on the forum whom people use to escrow the funds for any campaign or trade. Take Lauda as an example, or Sebastian, or yahoo and there are many more. All of them have probably escrowed more than $150k until now, so it is no point to say there are no people you can trust to escrow $150k unless you have them yourself. It is a clear excuse you are making here for not escrowing the funds.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 1 BTC with 0 fiat investment on: December 02, 2017, 12:25:56 PM
What you did is really great and inspiring for a lot of people. Starting from $0 and reaching $700 by now without any initial investment. But i wonder how long you will need to wait to reach your goal of 1BTC if you are not planning to change your strategy and move to something else as well other than Waves. If i was you, i would never think of investing my assets into anything else except Bitcoin, as i can see by the movements that the amount i can gain in a week in Bitcoin is not achievable in a month with any altcoin.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: December 02, 2017, 11:38:12 AM
The story is almost the same for all kind of gamblers. All of them win some big amount in a short time, and the majority lose the most of their winnings by becoming greedy to win even more with what they have won earlier. And later on, they realize it wasn't a wise move and they shouldn't have gambled more, but again if next time they win, they will do the same because it is the nature of gamblers and no one can change it. Playing with strategies, or just simple betting, it all needs luck in order to win something. No one can generate a strategy to make you win even if you are the unluckiest person in the world. That is not how gambling is designed, and we should keep that in mind before starting to gamble.

Card games are indeed better if you aim to make gambling into a profit activity. But to be honest, even card games require some level of luck to win them. However, what is nice about card games is that it does not require pure luck. You can use some sort of strategy that would mathematically improve your chances of winning and reduce the risk you get every game. But mastering those techniques will likely take a while.

You can only use your strategies in card games if you get good enough cards to stand a chance. So basically, even in card games you need luck because you must get good cards for the game to make your brain and strategies work, otherwise you won't win anything no matter how skilled you are.

You probably mean Twitter campaign. Just letting you know that there is a typing mistake and you should correct it.
Regards.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: December 02, 2017, 11:10:00 AM
I would love to hear if anyone has won or not.  I have not got lucky enough and probably have purchased over 1million tickets so far.  I usually have about a 1% chance to win and I am starting to think the site is rigged
I think it's suspicious that I never saw anyone in this forum winning lottery in that site. Every week 10 lotto winners there should be plenty of people who already won lottery. Even not 1 person

Read these comments:

I won one time on freebitco.in lottery. It happened 2 years ago. I have almost 100 tickets that time and won 0.1BTC(not accurate).
Around 2 years ago i ever won 0.1 btc but still small price.
If now i wo  0.1 btc. It will be good.

Do you guys even care to read the comments before posting your own? I don't think so, because if you would have done that, you wouldn't ask this question or say anything like "It is rigged", "It is suspicious" etc. There are already users from this forum who won prizes in the lottery which proves that they are not cheating anyone. If you visit the lottery page of freebitco.in, you will notice there are too many tickets bought every week. So only 10 of those tickets win the prizes, so it should not be a surprise not to easily find a winner.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this a point of no return 10K on: December 01, 2017, 06:39:44 PM
It is totally logical to think that it might drop back to $7k anytime as it already dropped to $8k yesterday and moving back to $10k+ again today. So it is totally unpredictable when it comes about the price of Bitcoin. We see the movements, and we say, "The price will keep growing" or "It will drop again soon", but most of the times, what we say is the opposite of what happens, and what happens surprises all of us every time. We should just always keep in mind that, if something can touch the sky in a month, it can get back to the earth in a half, but it is also not supposed to happen to every 'thing'.
296  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to start ICO in india? on: December 01, 2017, 06:27:34 PM
Will it be a good idea actually? There are probably a bunch of bitcoin users from every corner of India, but they are not too many i guess, and the government as well have never taken any notice about Bitcoin in India as long as i know. So starting an ICO before inquiring all these things won't be a wise move. You should first do a good research to find out whether you have a good enough population of crypto lovers around you, so that you can get some investors for your ICO from there, because you will most likely get your first investors from there and later on others will start trusting your ICO if they see a base.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taxed on Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2017, 05:38:47 PM
Are you taxed on Bitcoin?

NO!
Bitcoin is not yet recognized or legalized in my country, and there are no implementation of any rules on Bitcoin so far. No matter how many Bitcoins i own, as long as it is not legal in my country, i won't need to pay anything for that, but, if there are bank taxes if i cash out more than the limit provided by my bank, then i get taxed by the bank, but if i cash out less than the specified limit, i don't need to pay anything except the fees of transactions.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: We gonna talk about that flash crash? on: December 01, 2017, 05:23:16 PM
The drop was certainly big enough to catch everyone's attention, and the reason behind that can never be known as there are a lot of things that can cause such a thing. Like panic sell, FUDs, negative talks and many more. Now any of these things can cause a price drop if it occurs anytime in the community. But to be honest, they all happened in the past as well, but this time the drop was really big. It frightened the hell out of me when i saw a post about it in twitter  Grin It is really hard to see the price going down in such a short time.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: None of you are financial experts, it's scary on: November 30, 2017, 04:43:44 PM

I've been following this forum for a few weeks now...

  Huh

Have you been following the forum without creating an account? Or have you changed your account for just starting this thread?
Anyway, i don't think any of the matters you have mentioned can (quickly) bring down the value of Bitcoin to $0, because if that was something to happen, that would have happened by now. And, we surely are young and over-excited, but we are not uneducated children, and we don't treat digital currencies as a hobby, but we consider them as the future.
And, you said you are hopeful that a cryptocurrency will emerge in near future. How do you define "emerge"? If you don't consider a cryptocurrency, gaining a value as big as $10k, emerging.
300  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥 ALU Services - Campaign Management, Escrow & Design 🔥 on: November 30, 2017, 10:00:41 AM
It is really great to see an all-in-one service for the community provided by the team consisting of members one better than the other. No one would need to run behind individuals to do their services now, as they get everything in one place.
Good luck to you guys, and may your Service get the success it deserves.
