You just have to know that no matter what the price of any altcoin is, the team behind it will continue to develop and maintain the blockchain. How much work do you think the governments/banks are putting into developing fiat? probably none. They are using all their resources on counterfeiting fake-money. Where in the crypto world that is impossible.

China didn't ban crypto. They only banned exchanges. Any free man in china is allowed to use and trade crypto privately - which is also the way it was meant to be used. Exchanges are really only for speculation, and without them, bitcoin has a much stronger future.

what do you mean by real money? untill you can answer that question, your original question does not make sense. Money in my view is just an easy means of payment. In reality we dont use money anymore, everything is digital wires anyways.
So yes, crypto will replace standard fiat - in time.

Dont mind this. Bitgold or whatever they call this new altcoin is not going to be traded above 1USD. It's a worthless coin. Move an and forget about it. I'm not even gonna care about my bitgold coins and will forget they existed.

just buy stuff on amazon. It's really a brilliant way to use the bitcoins.
other than that, it's perfect to trade goods with friends.

I am not suprised by this price. I still think 9000 is within reach. By 2020, we are well passed 100.000 USD... not to sound ignorant, but it's just the way this world economy is going!

Basically yes. You can try to trade bitcoin, but then you dont really understand the principles behind, and in reality yhou should just leave this market and trade stocks instead.
Bitcoin is a perfect store of value... dont try anything else.

|
There is only one way to store bitcoin - COLD STORAGE.....
forget trezor, forget hw wallets, forget offline wallets, forget it all..
good old paper with numbers on them is the only secure way.

Bitcoin IS the official cryptocurrency allready! There is really no way that any government issued crypto will ever be accepted in the common crypto world because of the fact that government issued cryptos are centralized.

I think that each region will have their own crypto currency, with features specific for each regions needs. But I think they will all have one thing in common, they are being backed by bitcoin. There has to be one common standard/price, and that will no longer be USD, it will be BTC

I dont since it's not legal. I also think that the US should ban firearms, as it is too easy to get a gun and commit crimes.
Look at other countries? There is not so much shooting as in the US.

It allready has replaced gold. I think it was a couple of months ago when the price for bitcoin surpassed the price of gold. Also saw the latest news that they just found 59 trillion trillion trillion tons of gold. So in the near future gold will be worthless.

Still holding strong. I've been in the DeepOnion airdrop since round 1. Never sold a single coin. I can see the huge potential DeepOnion has, and will never sell for anything less than 20 USD per coin. Why? Because that is the fair market price once we hit the big exchanges. Seeling at this price is ridicilous. Who wants to sell onion for a couple of thousand dollars ? That's just dumb.
Stay strong and hold on.

|
yes of course. but it's also risky to just let all your money stay in fiat. Bitcoin is more volatile, but the smart person can see that in time bitcoin will be your best bet.

With bitcoin there is no longer a difference between currency and asset. Back in the days where you only had gold and fiat, it was clear to see the difference. With bitcoin you have both types in the same technology.
|
|
|
there will, but dont bother. btc gold will not be worth more than 1-2 dollars once you get the coins extracted and put on an exchange. I'm not gonna bother, and will let my btc gold rot
|

|
There is room for all the coins. Each coin tries to do something different. In the end there will probably only be around 100 coins left, the rest will die of starvation ( no users).

Governments and countries are afraid of bitcoin, because they have lost control of the people. They think they can make their own crpto currencies, and back them with their useles fiat. There is one and only one problem with this - IT IS NOT DECENTRALIZED anymore.
The reason I love bitcoin and other cryptos is because of the whole decentralization mechanism. Noone can kill bitcoin unless they kill the whole world. It's freedom to the people. Amen.

Imagine if all the poor people in africa put all their wealth in bitcoin. in 3 years they would be richer than the western world!!!!!
