2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do buybacks increase the value of a cryptocurrency? on: May 27, 2020, 11:27:37 PM
buying increase the value of a crypto so yeah buybacks did  although you cant see an imediate increase if other factors occur such as when the buyback amount was too low or let say many do buybacks but there are still people that sells too  .

its only sad that   buyback is hardly being done nowdays despite the fall of the price of the cryptos because its expected that people are on financial issue right now    . hoping that crisis like this wont last a long time
2802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: May 27, 2020, 11:00:44 PM
i was about to question your title because you use the word "buy these " plus with an exclamation mark   because i thought this was another ico token recomendation but it turns out that im wrong   . instead what i saw here was top coins only  . bch  , trx and ripple are all on my wishlist and bucket list    . indeed that these coin is the one that people must buy and not just those random unrated coins  because these coins were likely to perform better  .
2803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: May 27, 2020, 10:17:43 PM
All those alts mentioned are already well established and you can't expect a big profit from it, it will just follow Bitcoin's price.

But what if you stumbled upon a gem like I did and have high hopes of getting rich with it? Smiley

Idena Network (DNA) is one of the greatest ideas I've ever seen in crypto universe. I just hope that it delivers. :fingerscrossed:
Good luck with what you have found but the mindset of thinking you'll be rich with it got it wrong. It's ok to think of it but putting too much hope might frustrate you.
I looked at it and the volume isn't that much knowing that this was just launched a few months ago. Good luck anyway.

That's what people thought about Bitcoin 10-11 years ago.

It was also something new and different. And although this is 'just another shitcoin', the idea of the project is so revolutionary that it has to make it.

why call it a shitcoin if you think that coin you share and said earlier was a gem ?  but seriously i do heard about this coin before too   . my impression is that it wasnt really that bad  .  i see few people also talkin about this  . and you said this can be like btc too , so it means that this coin was really built for a long term purpose  . better if itl work that way so that we can earn a consistent profit than those coins who only pump small and wont achieve a maximum growth
2804  Economy / Economics / Re: Would nations adopt a DIY approach post covid-19? on: May 27, 2020, 09:30:31 PM
There is nothing to be unclear about ending of the pandemic. The pandemic WILL end like all those previous pandemics. Maybe in few months, or maybe in years, but it is bound to end. Currently, we might not be able to get a "medical end", but we will learn to live with the virus. We won't be fearing it, like we do currently.
Yeah, some people might take DIY approach. Those fear the virus a "lot" might end up doing in house painting, all those plumbing and so on. Those who accepts the fact that the virus is here to stay, will hire people like they used to before, but this time will take necessary measures to keep themselves safe from the virus.
Yes. DIY approach is what some people are already doing during this global pandemic and for me it's a good advantage knowing we are doing this of course with precautionary measures. It's hard to live life having this corona virus still around and knowing the fact that we don't know when this pandemic will end, DIY approach is a good option to start with.

we can still do something like disenfection before and after work or wear mask , gloves and other protective gears now tell me isnt that enough to protect your self from the virus and still continue living normally or working normally  ? the tasks said arent even public so its more safer , im mean they individually done only  .

diy is okay if you dont have the money or as long as you can do it yourself effortlesly  but if not then dont be shy to hire someone to do the job   .
2805  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: May 27, 2020, 09:00:09 PM
It all depends on what you are into already. I believe that you already have an established business and you are just looking for ways to integrate cryptocurrency and Blockchain into.

The normal thing that most businesses do is that they allow their customers to make purchase by using cryptocurrency, that way you will be able to receive cryptocurrency from them, and it’s really cool to do that. Apart from accepting cryptocurrency as payment you can as well be rewarding your customers with tokens,

nice advice mate i like the idea the most of accepting crypto and then paying some cash back in the form of tokens or he can create his own token and this token is the one that will be use for giving cash back  which he can use to buy items or got discounts too   .  i havent seen this idea done by merchants that accept crypto yet so if it will be a good hit if he is the one that will does this first .  using other alts and toks not just btc is also a nice idea because many shoppers prefer this too
2806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is ...... ? What does your auto fill suggest ? on: May 27, 2020, 08:05:19 AM
my guess is that autofill depends on the most search word by people in related to btc . your poll shows term that i think not popular  but its okay because you still add others   .

i havent do this yet but my guess was the words legit/scam will possibly show up first because i believe that people are searching this term too   .  people still doubts if btc is legit or a scam  but of course its legit as long as you control your own coins  .
2807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: May 27, 2020, 07:40:33 AM
Trading during a volatile market can go two ways its either you make profit while doing it or you run at a loss.  But its highly risky to trade in a volatile markets things can easily go sideways in a twinkling of an eye. Many has been liquidated while trying to trade during a volatile market
Yes the risk is high that’s why traders are only for those who have knowledge on it and willing to take the risk. There’s a big money on a volatile market that moves 24/7 and yes, the price is good but the risk is also high. I’m a trader, not a good one because I also make mistake but understanding the volatility and the risk can save you from a lot of trouble.

If the market is volatile, and it is hard to analyze, it is better to leave it for a while because if you force yourself to enter the market, you can get lose your money. But if you can accept the high risk, and you still insist on trying your analyze, you can enter the market, but you need to be very careful. I agree that we need to understand the volatility of the market so we can prevent from making another mistake.

no you cant perfect this market and make no further mistakes   . if your not risk taker then this market isnt for you  .

being volatile makes the market hard to analyze but isnt that thrilling ? like what you experience when you play gambling   .  trading on a volatile market is still good because this makes us earn fast compare to when market barely moves   but also depend on coins too    . not all coins are volatile but btc is the best with this    .
2808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: here comes the alts days? on: May 27, 2020, 07:09:31 AM
Now the alts days are not coming, now the alts are practically not moving in the market, I hope that in the spring of 2021 will come the alts days.  Now would be a good time to invest in alts at cheap prices.
I'm not sure what you said happened or not, but the situation is very unpredictable now, and the value of altcoin will often depend on Bitcoin. I think the market will continue to stay in the bear market for a few more years because after COVID-19, it is very difficult to revive the economy and no country has declared stability during this time. However, this may be a good opportunity for you but be careful before deciding.

if covid was gone i dont think we will wait for few more years in order for the value of alts to recover but the recover is happening now actually along the recovery of the country from covid  .  maybe we can only wait for a few week and months or max would be one year in order to see the alts healthy again  .   but it would be better if you will buy more and hodl more  not just pure expectation for the price to rise  because it doesnt make sense to assume if you ended up with less to zero coins  .
2809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: May 27, 2020, 06:33:22 AM
I guess you chose to invest in Bitcoin. If it is for long, keep it. If it's for the short term, you might consider a few altcoins again. Basically, selling it is the right choice. Bitcoin can do better and even if there are no guarantees or guarantees for good returns, it is still better because it is good for long-term investment.
Yub. You got the point. If you wanna hold BTC to wait for long-term profit. Go with it! However, if you are more like a short-term-profit type of person. You should consider to trade a few potential altcoins in the mean time. By that way, you can earn short-term profits but still hold a large part of BTC in your wallet.

look guys the op is not a trader but he was just a hunter before because he already owns a bag of alts till this date   . bounty coins are different from good alts that are mainly use for short term trades because those coins can fluctuate and have a guaranteed value   .  bounty coins are best for long term but still up to him if he decided to retire as a hodler he can sell and forget eveything or forget regrets  .  while for me i will prefer to hodl it and keep on hoping for thier comeback  but i will be regretting the time that i dont sell them before for good amount of cash
2810  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price might drop now?! on: May 27, 2020, 05:45:56 AM
I am really scared of panic sellers now, if BTC drops more than 500$ many of them change it to USDT. To be frank Even I have did it because I don't want to lose my money but now it looks like the price will drop slowly here is a genuine example of volatility.

Now it's time to stay calm with the investment and wait patiently till the market recovers.

Someone says it will drop down to 7000 soon. I don't know if he's right about that but if the market does drop then it drops. The one thing I hate about this  sudden decline of price is that it happens when I need the money the most.  The BTC I kept for money lose more of its value just in time when I needed the cash. Really made it easy for them to accumulate cheaper coins.

The current decline in bitcoin is slow but I don't think it will fall too deep seeing the market is likely to remain unstable, but in my analysis this decline will not be so long in the next few days bitcoin can redeem again to $9,000 in the near future provided that Don't panic about this sudden decline because this is common in bitcoin prices.

Indeed, at a time when money is needed the price of bitcoin is falling and when it goes up it hasn't had time to buy at a low price so this needs to be evaluated again so that it can precisely determine it.

cant relate on other talks but i totally relate on the time when we need money or when were about to recieve our btc but the problem is the value of btc will drop  but the drop didnt happen on normal days   . that sucks and strange at the same time   .  we cant stop btc drops but i guess lets just go with the flow  but to others , dont follow what i do  ( selling at loss )    . if you dont need the money asap just keep on hodling and everything will be alright soon
2811  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and COVID on: May 27, 2020, 05:02:38 AM
Bitcoin will help us in many ways to deal with the current epidemic situation
like for example what  ? i dont think btc can help us in many ways but maybe few only  .  like transacting wirelessly and it can act as a sideline business during these times were real business were temporary shutdown  .

Quote
If many countries are suffering from economic problems due to Covid-19, then if we invest in Bitcoin, it will help the country's economy to improve very quickly and the speed of transactions will increase.
if btc is the solution to recover then why not people invest on it but nah they arent  . many people still dont know the benefits behind btc but i also dont think it can easily revive a broken economy   . btc is too small for that  .

Bitcoin has not been affected by the virus so investing in Bitcoin is a great opportunity to overcome financial problems.
when you invest , there were risk too so it can realy solve your financial issues but it can also make it worst   . just saying
2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 27, 2020, 04:20:44 AM
Higher fees is optional you could decide to pay higher fees or choose the standard but it takes much longer. Although this has been resolve there are other second layer solutions such as Segwit that uses Lightning Network. But if you compare sending millions to other payment processors such paypal that takes 3-5 days even longer with costly fees. I'd rather go with Bitcoin.

maybe he didnt know that segwit exist and lightning networks  .  also there are sites or wallets that doesnt allow you to modify the transaction fee  . so he have no choice if he still use it   but on other service   we can choose to pay a small fee only as long as we waiting is not a big deal to us   .  you compare paypal  , i use paypal before but transacting doesnt take much time and no fees too  but paypal have issues , thats why we are here switching to cryptos
2813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 06:19:19 PM
i gamble normally with or without problems   .

if i have a problem i gamble too and i can say that its effective because i forget my problem easily  but if i loose  , i can also divert the problem on that  ( i forget my other problem  ) but this is more better because my other problem was heavier than a small looses  .  i can still manage to earn that money that i loose   . actually not just gambling but playing games too makes me forget it  .
2814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 26, 2020, 05:46:17 PM
Well it is just advice, don't store all your funds in exchange as a wallet. Trade with your extra money but still it is up to you, that's your money you decide.

maybe he thinks all coins are going to pull out on the exchange and if that was the case he is correct with that but no trader does that unless if he isnt done with his business which is trading    but pulling out your coins is fine because you can always deposit them and trade again   . as long as you are aware that doing this takes time and fees too  but this is nothing compare too if your coins got hacked inside the exchanged   .  not saying all traders can pull out thier coins now for safety  ,  this is only for people that are scared or cant afford to loose big
2815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: May 26, 2020, 05:05:34 PM
You own more than $ 1 million, so I believe you will have enough experience and intelligence to be able to choose good projects to invest. To be honest, I've never seen anyone who can hold bitcoin for 4 years and sell everything in 2017, it's hard for it to happen.

you may think its hard because you imagine it your self but for a pro investor they know how investing work  . they will risk and wait , if their asset pump for a long time then theyl be happy and take the profit but not then they can accept the fact that they loose  . money doesnt also show if you have experience or you are already good at investing  . poor or rish , both cant avoid to be unlucky  and loose   . what i only dont get is that he said he was involved on here for a long time but still ask question like he is a a total noob
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 26, 2020, 04:10:47 PM
local games are slowly being resumed now but for the popular like nba no i havent see them operating and boxing too is the one that been cancelled the most   .  on some local areas  , the covid cases are now getting lower so they can always make exception to run local games again  but for the states or outside the country  , i heard there are second wave that is threating to them   add in the existing covid victims that havent go down by most percent yet .
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is you blackjack strategy when you have 12,14,16 Numbers in your hand? on: May 26, 2020, 10:06:38 AM
Quote
So what is the strategy you use in these cases?

As an old and active blackjack (21) player, I would like to share my tactics that I have been using for a long time and that have enabled me to win continuously. Remember, the only way to make a profit in gambling is to claim your will and there is no guarantee of any tactics or methods! With this method that I use, you will have the opportunity to earn a little higher probability than other methods or games based on chance by owning your own will. In order to make it easier to explain, I want to explain it with sample figures;
In our first game, we bet with an amount of 2-5% of our safe. After determining this percentage according to our own decision, we start the game and demand new cards until the amount of cards we have is 17. When the current number reaches 17, we don't want any other cards and we wait for the cashier to open the cards. The number here is not necessarily clear 17, the player may not want a new card at points such as 15-16-17-18 at any point he wishes. In this way, we increase our earnings rate and do not take much risk. So what if we lose? We will place our next bet twice as much as our previous bet, and when we win this bet, we will compensate for our previous loss. Of course, besides this phone, 25% gain will be achieved. In short, I am trying to set the number I have close to 17 or 17 and I keep getting new cards until I reach this number. I also apply the Martingale system, as I mentioned, when I play earnings-oriented.

nice . didnt know that martingale method can also be applied on blackjack  .

the reason why is i didnt know is because i cant see the autobet option on the site that i play  while im not sure on other sites .  if i have the numbers mentioned above  let say 16  , i will doubt if i hold or pick more card  .  also depends on the dealers card   . but for numbers 12 and 14 i always play for more cards  , i won most of the time tho but this game can change sometimes   .
2818  Economy / Economics / Re: What would a Crypto-only economy look like? on: May 26, 2020, 08:33:22 AM
nice overview  . while reading it i also imagine it at the same time and i feel so good  . everything new is good anyway  . there will be no governments or banks that can dictate us and we are free as a bird ( just sky is the limit Grin )   . however as of today there were still people that trust government and banks but this doesnt also mean that those banks and governments are bad but the reason they trust it its because they can help each other as well as the economy of their country    .
2819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto is better then fiat? on: May 26, 2020, 08:02:45 AM
I've been around here for a while now. The question and comparison on which is better between the two has been asked not just once. And the answers are all quite the same — crypto and fiat are two different types of currency with their own purpose and not needed to be compared, hence.

Personally, I think the two currency goes well the way I use them. I can earn crypto here in the forum and convert it to paper money to buy my needs. They go hand in hand, for me. And shouldn't that be the case? To have fiat and crypto together and let them serve their purpose and not compare which one is better? Because after all, we can use both and have their own individual pros and cons.

im just the same as you  . i also earn crypto then convert it to fiat and spend it or save some  . ill then spend using fiat but i make crypto as a form of money making business  .   if only all stores here accept crypto i wont need to convert them to fiat but no its not although they support credit card and government based online payment system  but we dont know yet on the future  if crypto are really popular  . that should be the time that we can say that cryptos is better than fiat
2820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Games on: May 26, 2020, 07:40:16 AM
dunno if there are scratch card gambling online but i think i havent seen one yet   .

scratch card is my bet but unfortunately i cant bet on the poll now since its closed   . i find the game more thrilling compare to other games on the list because when you scratch the card you are hoping that it will be a pair but unfortunately the chance of winning is still slim  .
