2801  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 08, 2018, 11:18:08 PM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
This is absolutely true when it comes to every investment, the amount of money you invested is not the big question, how much you have invested at a low rate and what is the expected holding time until you reach your target, i still think there are many alt coins that could give you a good profit in the short term simply because of the low price valuation and the potential rise it could have in the future.
2802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: April 07, 2018, 11:16:01 PM
I thought this was never a fun experience when it comes to day trading. Despite the risk, I still find it a lot of fun. First, I try to be a "whale" to manipulate others to dump price by selling all of it. I was selling FAITH to BTC at 45 satoshi and successfully sold half of it.

I bought 277 and 754 FAITH at 45 and 47 satoshi, respectively, hoping that I could have an extra. Then, I decided to sell them all at 50 satoshi. As a result, I have successfully sold more than half of it at that price and I have a few more left before its sold out.
I can understand your joy because you had a good day when it comes to trading, but one thing i cannot understand is that, which coin are you talking about, how can you call yourself a whale with limited amount of coins, whales usually trade millions of dollars worth of coins to manipulate the market . 2803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big gains come with big losses on: April 07, 2018, 10:50:31 PM
To everyone complaining about the current situation crypto is in or questioning why its happening you need to keep in mind that if something triples in price in a relatively short period of time, it can crash just as hard in the same period of time.
I do accept the fact that if there is a big rally and takes the price to new levels without any correction, it will come down hard but that does not mean that with very big gains you might personally end up loosing, be smart when it comes to identifying the peak and book your profits and enter at a later time and that is how you conduct a perfect trade.
2804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH vs BTC? on: April 07, 2018, 10:35:13 PM
BCH should never surpass BTC, BCH is only a biked coin of BTC, it has its own value but can never replace BTC.
You really cannot predict what the future will be, both coins having different vision and different path and let us see which one comes up on top in the end, i like both of their development and i am hoping this competition will bring the best for the end users. Wink
2805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: April 07, 2018, 09:55:55 PM
Maybe , or maybe not. Its depends how BTC will change. Btc effect all coins like ETH. If BTC rises , ETH can rise , reach high prices.
If we see a rally in the market with the help of bitcoin, we might see the entire market recovering, but other than that i do not see the price of ETH peaking over to two thousand dollars, the market is changing and with regulations coming up, ETH will be one of the coin that is going to get affected by the regulation.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: April 06, 2018, 08:43:35 PM
Before, most of my money was in eth, but the decline of eth has made me feel desperate. I regret buying eth, and I should hold BTC for a long time.
I always look at the market situation before deciding whether to sell off when the price crosses milestones and ETH gave us the opportunity to sell your coins when the price was over thousand dollars and since i could see that the market situation was not that great i booked my profits and i am looking for other projects to enter once again. The free market we once had will gone and it will be difficult for new projects to use the ETH platform in the future which might diminish its potential.
2807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: April 06, 2018, 01:44:01 PM
India is afraid of taking risks! He does not want people to be deceived! I do not trust the crypt myself!
It does happen if there is a bunch of dumb decision makers, if people are to be protected, they have to come up with a good regulation rather than shutting innovation down, it is easy to shut things down with a decision, but they have to understand if they keep on doing it without understanding the long term consequence, they will loose the edge in technology .
2808  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: April 06, 2018, 06:25:01 AM
After upcoming worldwide regulations people will HAVE to declare it. Sad but true
Why would anyone be forced to disclose their assets and if so why would they reveal everything and if not how on earth are they going to know about it.

Are the bitcoin earnings taxable only when you convert them to "real" currency or is the tax applicable even if you dont convert ?
You need to pay your tax when ever you convert to fiat currency, there is no provision to pay your taxes while you are holding the coins and you really do not need to disclose your amount too.

If we consider the situation with the legalization bitcoin, then I still do not see the point of showing income, what for ?
If you have made money with bitcoin and you have converted it to fiat currency you have to pay your taxes for the income you have made.
2809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum classic (ETC) on: April 01, 2018, 11:52:12 PM
It depends on the whole market feeling. ETC always goes to the moon without any reasons.
If that is the case then it is called pump and dump but i have not heard about ETC being pumped like that in recent times. I have not seen any project using ETC as their platform or am i missing something here, if that is the case i would like to know about a list of projects that are promising but using ETC platform to collect the funds.
2810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 01, 2018, 11:43:05 PM
WI vs Pakistan 1st T20 match going on and Pak made 203/5 in their 20 overs. WI started their inning badly with 4 wickets down in 15 runs in 5 overs. So Pak will win this match with big margin and will lead the series by 1-0. WI will need to come back strong in 2nd match now.
West Indies has no chance to comeback in this tournament with a weak team like this, all of their start players will be travelling to India to play the IPL , if not why are they not putting out the best team they have if they are playing for their national side. West Indies are finding it hard to find good talent now a days which is very sad as they had the best team and players in the world for a long time.
2811  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: April 01, 2018, 11:27:02 PM
48 hours and still no coin.....
I think they had a live chat earlier and what is that they are telling you, it is really unfortunate if they are keeping the users coins citing that they are not accepting players from certain location they deserve negative trust, people do make mistake and it is really difficult and boring to read the terms of service which keeps on updating all the time.
2812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you recommend selling my Bitcoins now on: April 01, 2018, 11:12:02 PM
If you had plans to sell the coins you could have already done that when you started finding cracks in the market, the price was rising very fast and it will take some time to see a recovery in the market, i would not sell my coins at this price as i am sure i can make a good profit in a few years time if i am holding the coins.
2813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC dropping every week? on: April 01, 2018, 10:57:37 PM
I bet you're great, great , great , great granddad was buying Tulip back in Amsterdam but my question to you if you old enough
is was you buying DOT-CON shares back in 2000 before it crashed.

You know what they say about a fool and his money because all you seem to have is blind faith and your ignoring any facts.
So are you telling that bitcoin is like the tulip era, one thing i can tell is that bitcoin is here to stay for a longer period of time, i am not talking about the alt coins, i wonder what all coins will be active a few years from now and we may not see all the coins that are created in five years time.
2814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] At what price will they force YOU to sell your btc to them? FOR GOOD on: April 01, 2018, 10:41:20 PM
I will sell my Bitcoin everytime I think the price is gonna go further down so I can short it, thats how it works.
Are you talking about future trading or selling your coins in the exchange when the market goes down.  Huh

I am collecting my coins at this price and i am waiting for the next rally and i will be glad to off load some coins when it touches $20 k and if the market goes further i will hold my coins gladly and if there is any weakness shown in the market i will sell off everything and wait for another correction.
2815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The FBI Warns About Scams On Crypto Users on: April 01, 2018, 10:19:37 PM
The real problem is that the scammers are getting real smart and they are plotting schemes to trap innocent users and being masking as a technical support it can give them unlimited power and thereby scam you by collecting your sensitive information and these sort of call centers are running in third world countries.
2816  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT BUBBLE!! on: March 31, 2018, 11:47:19 PM
Today, the Internet World is full of people who are called economists who say bitcoin is a "bubble." they seemed to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt. They say that the bitcoin high price rally will be a disaster. however, it looks like they just hate cryptocurrency. many of these experts do not fully understand bitcoin.
The economist and the people who were calling bitcoin a bubble were not entirely wrong, the price has risen to almost $20k and look at the price a couple of months later, it has come down more than half of that valuation, but the funny thing is, the bitcoin market is like this and you need to understand the market you are dealing.

Seoul Mayor aiming to launch the capital city's own crypto and establish better environment for blockchain startups
I am expecting more countries coming up with their own crypto currency and that is what we will be seeing in the future as a trend.  Cheesy
Some of the poor countries who does not have the capital could raise money and in return if they can come up with great projects, it is a possibility to flourish .

They might be accepting only major coins as there are a lot of coins in circulation ,i do not see how they are going to choose which one to list, may be according to the volume they will be listing the tokens.  Cheesy

2818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropped by $2k on: March 30, 2018, 09:54:14 PM
How surprising that bitcoin has fallen from $20,000 to $6,900 in the past three months, which many believe will lead to the death of bitcoin. But if you look at the history of bitcoin, you'll see that it's normal, and it happens a lot.
There is no death for bitcoin, holds the coin for some time and see what the price would be, i really think this is a cooling period after all the rally it had. Right now the price is going down in the past two days and it went down $7k and i hope it could rise again.
2819  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says being rich is determined by chance rather than intelligence or talent on: March 28, 2018, 11:43:47 PM
this study is true most of the rich people come from rich families. But there is still a chance for us to try and innovate to create new things that can make us a new rich person. Bitcoin has created many new rich people hopefully in the future bitcoin still exist and make the poor rich.
I am not sure how you came to this conclusion, if being rich is not determined by hard work and intelligence then half of the worlds population would be rich by now, there are people who are making money by taking chances but you need to have a combination of everything to be successful in life, knowledge is more important to be successful and the drive to make money will determine where you end up.
2820  Economy / Economics / Re: The stock market is a bubble now on: March 28, 2018, 11:08:41 PM
I would like to say that there are bubbles in every market and these sort of accusation are always against bitcoin but your observations are actually true, the tech companies are almost in a bubble as well as property ,it is how things works in the real world and you cannot do anything about it and it is not a new thing either, it will shift according to the global trends and there are strict regulations in place too, if you are caught manipulating you will end up paying fines in millions .
