1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 11:54:55 PM
Well, according to some news outlets Wilder has said there's going to be a third fight. He's also fired the guy who threw in the towel/saved his bacon. It's talking about a July date. The cause of his wobbly legs was his unusual ring entry costume according to him. Fair enough.
As usual every fighter will come up with a ton of excuses, he was completely dominated and if the towel was not thrown he would have injured badly and it was a wise decision from his corner as they are there to protect the fighter, he can come up with any excuses and i do not think that Wilder will reinvent is boxing style at this age and with this style he is not going to beat Fury how many times they face.

New Zealand domonated the first day and they were able to take a comfortable lead in the second day but then they started loosing wickets and lost 5 wickets at the end of the day and they only have a lead of over 50 runs and the match started and they already lost their 6th wicket which means India is striking back and i thought i would be a comfortable win for New Zealand but things are changing and how long New Zealand can bat determines the winner.

For the ICC, it is somewhat beneficial not to have a bilateral series between India and Pakistan. If there is a bilateral series, then obviously the revenues will go to BCCI and PCB. On the other hand, if India and Pakistan plays against each other only in the ICC tournaments, then ICC will be getting the lion's share of revenue. I strongly suspect that this is one of the reasons why ICC is not pushing hard here (anyway even if ICC puts pressure on BCCI, I don't think that it is going to have any impact).
I am not in the same sort of thinking as the ICC would earn the proceeds if Pakistan and India play a bilateral series and after Ashes Pakistan and India series will give them the maximum revenue and there is no way the ICC would restrict them, from what i understand the issue is between Pakistan and Indian political structure and so is the reason we are not seeing a series between them and nothing else.

Indian squad for upcoming Test series against New Zealand.
- Rohit out due to injury, he was out from ODI series too, Kuldeep Out as well.
So Rohit Sharma is not playing the Test series it is an advantage for New Zealand as he is in good form and could change the match if he is able to stay in the crease for a long time.

- Prithvi Shaw back in test squad after his ban.
- Bumrah entry in the test squad after very long time.
It looks like Prithvi Shaw will be in the team opening the innings if Rohit sharma is not playing and i am expecting KL Rahul to open the innings.

- No update on Ishant's injury but his name is in squad.
- Shubhman Gill and Navdeep Saini are new name in the squad. Recently Gill made many runs against NZ A in New Zealand so now he's reaping the reward.
Ishant Sharma is still injured as per reports and he might not be touring New Zealand and Shubhnam Gill might be in the team.

I think DC was the only one who had real chances of beating Jones. Ok, except Reyes, dont know much about this guy. But if to compare DC and Reyes records, DC won more elite fighters than Reyes. Would be nice to see DC vs Reyes, to find out who is right, but to bad DC is aiming to make a third fight agains Miocic and that is going to be his last fight in career.
I disagree with you when i comes to Daniel Cormier as both the fights were not even close, in the first fight he completely dominated them Daniel Cormier and in the rematch he finished him and hence it was not even a close fight. Alexander Gustafsson was his first close fight and then now we have Dominick Reyes who was really close in defeating him, the rest of the fights were not even close. If Jon Jones moves to heavyweight division then it is a different ball game altogether.

What a series and what a end of second twenty/20 match England won by just 2 runs as Curran done good job in last 3 balls even his first 3.5 overs cost him 43 runs but last three balls completely change all things for England Love this format and game between these quality teams now third and final match is going to be more excited.
It was a wonderful match and England was able to play the same game South Africa played against them in the first match. Curran bowled the last over and he was able to hold on to the total and even with two wickets in the last over they were able to win the match and with the win the series is leveled and the final game determines the champion.

Virat wanted to see how the new boys play and he must have been disappointed watching them get out for 0 and 1. NZ are weak when it comes to test matches so am expecting India to be definitely better than them and 263 doesn't sound good. This warm up match should be a wake up call for the team.

NZ on the other hand have great bowlers like Sodhi and Kuggeleijn. Taylor is missing the test match but don't know if it's good or bad as they need good bowlers more than batsmen. Hope Ishant, Yadav and Jadeja give their best this time.
These are the tangibles in the upcoming match between New Zealand and India as the players are coming into this match after a break and the warm up was a disaster for the Indian openers and they are leading the Test Championship table and this series is important to retain the position and hence i am confused on whom to bet on this match, the first innings will determine how the match will go and i might wait for live betting rather than going with the match before the start time.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 14, 2020, 05:31:13 PM
Stokes and Ali are batting and if they play full 20 overs or any one stays till end then we can see England crossing 200+ runs and it will be a big chase for SA. Bairstow innings was also at a quick pace though he got out at 35 in 17 balls .
Moeen Ali changed the match altogether by smashing 39 runs in just 11 balls and unfortunately he got out looking to clear the ropes once again and Ben Stokes is still in the crease and now 200 is a real possibility and England need to put over 200 runs to put pressure back to South Africa and level the series and i am expecting England could level the series as they will be determined to win this match.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 14, 2020, 04:04:24 PM
Mate, there are speculations that Google is a step ahead to enter crypto currency, however is no confirmed news on this. Crypto is a billion dollar market where already a lot of big companies have jumped on this. And yes if Google step in to crypto I am sure it can be one of the top coin to focus on investment due to its popularity in the entire world it can easily gain public trust which will boost them to rock in crypto market.
I do not think that google will jump into the crypto market space as they very well know the regulatory pressure Facebook is getting when they planned to enter the market and as long as the regulators are giving them a hard time to come up with their private currency they will not spend their time on on.
Even if a private company comes up with a centralized coin, i will avoid them as i do not want them to have my records registered and have a control over my finance.
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays Stands by $4K Bitcoin Price Pre-Halving Prediction on: February 14, 2020, 12:13:44 PM
Bitcoin blasted through the $10K barrier once again this Sunday. But while the majority of analysts are hanging out the flags hailing the next Bitcoin bull run, prominent BTC trader and analyst Tone Vays stands by his bearish prediction.
I am sure he is shilling for a bearish trend so that he can invest when the market goes down other than that there is no way you can predict that the market would go the other way, all these analyst and predictors want to create an image to the investors so that they will dump when they see a market correction expecting a huge correction and to reach $4k the market needs to shed $6 k from the current valuation which is a huge difference which i do not see coming.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 14, 2020, 11:34:42 AM
It being a warm up match is the saving grace. Since, India is ranking first in test series, don't want them to lose and still most playing are new and not in form so this warm up match could help them perform but they didn't.
Warm up matches does not really show you anything and i have seen players who were not able to score much runs in warm up matches would perform better when the series starts and you can expect them to improve their performance as they need to understand the pitch situation and the bounce it offers it is never easy to go into the match with a single warm up match but still i am expecting a good match from India and New Zealand.
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 13, 2020, 08:33:30 PM
Politics is interlinked with sports nowadays and my personal opinion is that you can't just put the blame on cricket. Other sports are also not free from the influence of politics. Russia was banned from Olympics for the use of Meldonium, while the American gymnast Simone Biles (who won the gold) was let scot free for the usage of the same drug. The excuse given that she needs the medication for her ADHD medication. How bizarre this sounds? Who needs a performance enhancing drug such as Meldonium to treat ADHD? And similarly, Russian Maria Sharapova was banned for the usage of Meldonium, while the Williams sisters tested positive for it and yet faced no action against them.
There is a major difference, the Russia teams was banned because it was revealed that it was a state sponsored drug abuse to enhance the performance of the athletes and the drugs the rest of the athletes you mentioned used were due to medication reasons and not to especially enhance their performance and that is a major difference. I am not claiming that these drug testing are perfect but there is a difference between both these cases.
1833  Economy / Speculation / Re: One satoshi for $1 dollar will occur someday on: February 13, 2020, 08:08:07 PM
I'm sorry, even I, a very opmistic person about BTC and the blockchain in general, can't believe in such price
There's a lot os scenarios of probability, but to achieve this price per satoshi, a BTC have to hit 100 millions dollars, yes a single coin of BTC
Can you explain how can we have this money on criptos?
This is just a dream valuation that we will not achieve simply because no one will be sending a thousand dollar transaction fees and it is show the biggest flaw when you are talking about one satoshi a dollar. The price will move higher as longer as the terms are fair in accordance to the transaction charges and once it crosses those then you will have a hard time to see the value moving further and the hence the million dollar valuation by the speculators will make me cringe and that is the reality.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 13, 2020, 07:07:27 PM
The problem with England was that their lower order batsmen failed to contribute, unlike what happened during the test series. During the test series, lower order and tail end batsmen such as Chris Woakes, Mark Wood and Stuart Broad contributed with bat and were able to build valuable partnerships. However, the squad for the T20 series doesn't feature most of these players.
Eoin Morgan could have played till the end rather than taking the team home he went for an expensive shot in the second last over and lost his wicket and then wickets started falling as the pressure will start to increase and Lungi Ngidi bowled a perfect last over where he took wickets and England chocked under the pressure.

Being an Indian citizen, I have to say that it is very easy to forge the date of birth column in the high school mark sheet. At the time of joining, the parents usually lower the age of their child by 6 months or an year and this new date of birth is then continued with every document such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID.etc. Most of the time, it goes on without any suspicion. However, in some cases, as a result of the physical appearance of the individual he gets caught and if he is unlucky, then he'll be sent for the bone-density test.
It is really strange as there is no mandatory to register when the child is born and that is usually done through hospital and on seeing these situation it is really strange someone to reduce their age as it is not fair for the other kids who are competing against them and these sort of malpractices should be given strict punishment so that someone's opportunity is robbed by these actions. What is the accuracy level when you test bone density to determine age Undecided.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: February 13, 2020, 03:58:36 PM
No investment is safe specially if you don't know what kind of investment/market you're into. It's never wise if you avoid investing in Bitcoin as well.  Wink
The choice of investing is individual decisions and we have time and again heard cries from people about missing out on investing on bitcoin when the price was really low and even after the last rally the market gave plenty of opportunity for anyone who wants to invest in the market and even then if someone is not able to make a wise decision to invest in bitcoin, then it is better for them to stay out rather than going at it when the market peaks and then cry out that they lost their money when the market goes down.

@ OP You cannot consider any financial market as a safe heaven as you never know what will happen and so is the case with bitcoin.

It was a very close match. I thought it will go to super over but great balling and fielding by the South African team. Initially I felt that England will win the match, when Jason Roy was batting but, great balling by Lungi 3 wickets just for 30.
England was playing reckless shots in the end and they started loosing wickets, i am confused when all the players were holing out in the deep rather than going for ground shots and gaps they were all trying to clear the boundary and giving easy catches to the outfielders and in the last two overs South Africa bowled really well and the wicket of Morgan when they were near victory changed the match around, incredible performance by South Africa for winning the match even after a great performance by some of England batsman.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2020, 10:03:14 PM

...and England lost! Amazing, amazing bowling by Lungi Ngidi in the last over. At one point, it felt like the English team will be easily able to win this one, but amazing comeback by South African bowlers in the last quarter of the game.
A couple of good overs and the ability to put pressure on the England batsman and pick the wickets made the difference, i expected England to win the match When Jason Roy was on the crease and the collapse was incredible as the odds for South Africa to win was really high and even though Dale Steyn made his presence felt by his performance i did not anticipate Lungi Ngidi to bowl a dream last over when the match is on the line.

It is easier to forge the age certificates in Asian nations, since data is not stored in servers (mostly it is in hard copy format). On the other hand, in the Western nations all the details are stored digitally and it is almost impossible to forge the DOB or other details of an individual.
So are you telling that it is sponsored by the respective cricket boards, if not it is impossible to forget these documents even if it is not stored in servers and if you are able to do these kind of manipulations then you can even edit the digital entries, it is a serious accusation and i am not sure about the authenticity of these accusations as i have not seen any major newspaper picking this news and if they are caught then it will have a serious implication in the future.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2020, 07:02:24 PM
England is chasing the score really well and Jason Roy is in prime form and smashing the South African bowlers all over the ground and they need 46 runs to win in 34 balls and they have 7 wickets in hand and with the batting power England has i am expecting them to win the match but if South Africa can bowl a couple of good overs and pick the wickets then the match will be tight, either way it is an interesting encounter.
