2041  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: December 18, 2019, 11:48:48 PM
Although we have been displaying our SportsAdda branding at Indian Football Super League games and around the Mumbai stadium for some months now, we have only just finalised and signed our agreement with Mumbai City football club.
This deal was made even more exciting for us as City Football Group acquired 65% of Mumbai City during the process and we will be working closely with them during the year to see how we can strengthen this relationship further.
Proud partners of Watford FC, Flamengo FC, Resario FC and now Mumbai City FC.
I am really impressed to see the team conquering and sponsoring teams around the world, i was really not aware of the foot league you mentioned from India and i was only aware of the cricket league IPL which was a pretty big thing in the cricket world and other than cricket i have not heard anything else specially from India in global sports apart from a woman's boxing and badminton champion.
Congrats Sportsbet on sponsoring 4 teams already.

You are underestimating a team like India way too much here. Anything above 300 is a great score for India and they are pretty much set to touch 350 thanks to Rohit going berserk at the moment with Shreyas providing good support.

Don't dismiss their bowling unit just because they performed badly in a single match. Look at their past accomplishments. West Indies will need a miracle if they want to seal this one and I highly doubt anything like that will happen here.
I am not under estimating their bowlers, what i was saying is that their best bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are not playing and the way in which West Indies chased their total in the T20 and the first ODI does not resemble the bowling unit and power they had when Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was in the team as they were strike bowlers who were capable of picking the wickets and Shami was not able to pick the wickets either without a good support from the other end.
In this match too West Indies had a good start and the Indian bowlers were not able to pick up a wicket yet and i was talking about this situation.

Wich way is more profit?
Crypto or stock market?
What are other ways to get good profits besides crypto?
If you look at the last seven years the bitcoin market is leading when it comes to investor profits as the percentage is far higher than any other market, if you are looking for stable growth then there are many other markets like bonds, forex and gold but i would suggest any investor to put a share of investment in bitcoin too, i am not vouching for the rest of the alt coins but bitcoin is a sure shot profit.

Rahul got out looking for the big shot and i hope they will carry the same momentum without loosing much wickets.
West Indies now have the opportunity to pull back things and can put pressure on the Indian batsman, Virat Kohli got out for a golden duck and if West Indies are able to bowl a couple of tight overs then the pressure will start building for the batsman and they will look to score boundaries and start loosing wickets and the only positive for India is that Rohit is still in the crease, anything below 340 by India will be chased by West Indies as they have the players and India is not having a potent bowling unit in this series.

LOL... I watched Peter Siddle sending down missiles during the abandoned match between Victoria and Western Australia at Melbourne. He was constantly targeting Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis with short pitched deliveries and a couple of times Stoinis got hurt when the ball hit his rib cage. I am wondering whether this is the reason why he got recalled all of a sudden?
Peter Siddle was the leading wicket taker for Victoria this season and he has the experience playing in this pitch and may be that is the reason he is recalled in this test and he might play in the team considering his form and the way in which he was terrifying and troubling the batsman but there are other bowlers in the team including James Pattinson and Michael Neser who is yet to make his Test debut in the selected team and who will get the opportunity remains to be seen.
2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 17, 2019, 10:28:12 AM
They were competitive in patches when top order was batting, That's how they got Warner and Smith wickets despite their good start and Lockie Ferguson injury didn't help Kiwi's cause, other than that Australia outplayed them completely in every department.
Australia recalled Peter Siddle in place of the injured Josh Hazlewood and New Zealand replaced the injured Lockie Ferguson with Kyle Jamieson who might be making his debut if he is playing in the boxing day Test and historically Australia dominate the boxing day Test in the past and i am expecting them to dominate the match and like the last match New Zealand might find success in some sessions.

One name that came up recently was that of Mitchell Starc, who opted out of the next edition of the IPL. Starc would have easily netted $1 million to $1.5 million from the IPL, but he chose to play for the national team instead.

Now the question is how many of the players would be courageous enough to take such a decision. The amount we are talking about here is really huge. And considering that the peak form for a fast bowler lasts just a few years, I just hope that Starc doesn't regret about his decision later (for reference, his contract pay from Cricket Australia is around $620,000 per year).
I am not sure whether you can call it an noble effort to opt out of a million dollar deal where you are able to make that amount with a dozen matches to be played in a months tournament and he is not even getting a million dollar for playing the entire year for Australia and it is no wonder everyone is retiring earlier to play for franchise leagues as they are able to make more money with less play time.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 15, 2019, 03:42:24 PM
I did not expect West Indies to dominate the match as India was not able to pick wickets and Hetmyer played an incredible innings and he just lost his wicket looking to increase the run rate and he was striking at a good rate and Hope is still in the crease but he is playing like a Test match innings as his strike rate is just 57 and is it possible for India to win from this stage as they need 6 runs per over.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: December 13, 2019, 11:02:18 PM
Not hating on him at all, he's done an excellent job building his brand and getting the fights he wants, however, he's not on the same level as Mayweather.
It is so funny, no one can even compare any fighter close with the genius of Mayweather because he was such a technical genius and Mayweather will set traps in the cage and if 49 fighters had the opportunity and never fulfilled then there is no way anyone could beat him unless father time take control over your body and i am not expecting any competitive fights from Mayweather at this stage of his career.

^  Made a quick search and saw that he has surgery on his left elbow done on June.  I don't it would affect him that much unless you're talking about another (and more serious) injury?
I saw the weigh ins and the old fights of Petr Yan and he looks like a tough opponent for Urijah Faber and even though he is coming from a surgery he looks really great during the weight ins and his weight is perfect and i really doubt whether Urijah Faber will go the distance with him because of the range of attacks he has, the only way to victory for Urijah Faber is that Petr Yan injures his left hand once again, but since the odds are so attractive i am wagging for Faber to win considering his experience and his hunger to come back again from retirement just to compete.
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 13, 2019, 07:47:20 PM
Bhuvi is ruled out of the ODI series against WI and this is not a good sign for team India as one of their main Bowlers will be out of the series and India will now have to look on other bowlers to pick wickets and contain the batsman .
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is plagued with injury all the time and even during the world cup he was injured as he had issues with his hamstrings if i am not wrong and it happens if you are not warming up well and if he was lazy on doing that then it will affect his career really bad, not sure what is the injury now but their top two bowlers are injured as there is no return date fixed for Bumrah as far as i know through media. Even with all these injury concerns from India i still consider them to win the series.

LOL, a test match cannot be turned into a T20 format for the audience.
Looking at the weather for next two days, it seems no match would be possible.  Undecided
I know that it is not possible to play during a Test match, it was a suggestion from me, when two days are lost and it is sure that we will not be able to see a result then there is no point in playing the match further and they need to play a T20 match to entertain the crowd as they have spent money for the ticket and the shorter format is improvised and we can do that if there is no rain in the next two days.
2053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin scampany got rekt! on: December 13, 2019, 05:17:05 PM
Why would I need to join a ponzi like that? Now that these filthy founders got charged for running a Bitcoin ponzi scam, I guess that the guy who sent me a message back then is now "crying" because of his lost money in that scampany.

I just feel sorry for those who have fell for that Bitcoin scampany back then. Lesson learned for you guys.
The amount of time they were able to run the scam is mind boggling and no one was able to expose them completely, when ever there was an article against them they would come out and throw some responses and i bet there are many victims in this forum and they are not coming forward right now as i have seen some members vouching for them in the past. Hopefully they get sentenced for life and hopefully all their loot confiscated.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 13, 2019, 04:09:42 PM
What do you guys think of Faber?  He's at 4.91.  Lolol.  Grin
The odds for Urijah Faber is crazy and i am simply going to bet for him considering the huge underdog status he is having as Petr Yan coming back after an injury and i have not seen many of his fights to understand why the huge loop sided odds he is having, in my eyes Faber has the experience to defeat him but Yan defeated John Dodson and Jimmie Rivera in his last two fights and hence the odds i guess.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 13, 2019, 03:14:39 PM
Pakistan Vs Srilanka match is boring as only the rain is playing a major role rather than the players. Only 5 overs were possible today and that is a total mess. This is a first International match in Rawalpindi after a long long time and it really disappointed the locals who were eager to watch the team in action in the ground.
It will be a a disappointing match for the local audience as they are witnessing a Test match after a very long time and the weather is not allowing to see the match and they lost two days already and now there is no way we could see a result in this match, they should improvise and play a T20 match if there is no rain in the next two days and entertain the crowd instead Grin.

Australia is in a strong position and New Zealand will be forced to follow on but Taylor is still in the crease and BJ Watling who scored a double century recently against England is playing and hope they could build a huge partnership.
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 13, 2019, 12:01:52 PM
Its not a bad wicket to bat on so surely their opener messed it up and lost the opportunity. i am counting on Williamson and Taylor too.
Williamson and Taylor were rebuilding the innings and they are the in form players for New Zealand but Williamson is back in the pavilion and now Taylor and Nicholls are in the crease and hopefully they can built a good partnership and with Hazlewood injured Australia have a bowler less and lets see whether they can take advantage of the situation.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Italy is now anti-cash and pro-Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 10:59:39 PM
It seems that the prime minister of Italy is now in favor of cashless payments than spending paper bills in various products and services.

I also like his idea that companies who are operating in Italy are penalized if they do not accept credit or debit card as mode of payments for their customers. One thing that Italy should solve is those who are “unbanked”. Of course, not all Italians have a bank account or qualified to have a credit card.
Cash is preferred here most of the time but the government is planning to change all the transaction digitally for a long time and this is not a recent news as they are implementing a limit to spend physical cash but you can still make digital transactions but what i do not understand is that how come it will boost bitcoin, there are many fake articles coming out claiming that these cash limit will boost bitcoin, but what is the logic behind it  Roll Eyes.

Enter Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I think this is a baby step towards full cashless society, and I strongly believe that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will also be part in their future system. What do you guys think about this?

Is this a great idea for Italy’s future? Should they be a great example to other countries who needs to transition from cash to cashless?
Hope you misinterpret things here, cashless does not mean bitcoin, taking all the fiat transaction digitally is what they mean by this. There is a huge difference between the two and stop spreading fake news.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 12, 2019, 08:57:36 PM
I feel that AUS will aim for huge first innings score because they got settled proper batsmen at the crease, new day will be a challenge but if they can control nerves for the first 10 overs or something then they will day 2 also which could possible result in 400+ runs.OZ have good team as well especially kane williamson but if they lost early wickets then match will be on the hand of Aussies.
Australia will be looking for a big score and Labuschagne will be the key wicket and i hope Travis Head will build a good partnership as he is also averaging really well above 50 but i am sure Tim Paine will declare the innings if the think that it is not helping the team as it was evident with his declaration when Warner was well past his 300 and looking to score further, he made the declaration giving priority to the team rather than individual performance which was a bummer as a Aussie fan, New Zealand have in form batsman and lets see how they can perform in this pitch.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: December 12, 2019, 08:01:39 PM
Conor has been out of the ring for quite a while now, just over a year if memory serves. However, no doubt he will be back talking mad smack once again, threatening to wreck Cerrone.
If Conor McGregor is not talking smack then it wont be a fight we are looking for as trash talking is a fight strategy that Conor employs throughout his career.

I really don't get why people pay him so much attention. Sure he smashed Jose Aldo with one punch, but it wasn't like he was absolutely mauling everyone like Khabib.
Pretty sure if he fought Khabib 100 times he would lose 99 times. He's not as good as he thinks, and could even lose against Cerrone.
If you consider the fact that Conor is a pure striker who does not have a great ground fighting skills as most of his prior defeats were on the ground and Khabib was a ground specialist and if anyone say that they were surprised that Khabib defeated him, i would say please watch fights before commenting as everyone knew what would happen in a fight between them.

Nonetheless I won't be watching this fight, people need to stop listing to people with a big ass mouth and nothing interesting to say, like Conor.
I will watch this match as it will be a great fight between strikers.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France to launch their own cryptocurrency on: December 12, 2019, 06:20:13 PM
This is great news! I hope other countries jump aboard the crypto wagon and embrace blockchain technology and the future. It will be very interesting to see how they introduce it to their people and if they will have a dual economy? One based on fiat the other on crypto. Would investing in such currency be a good idea? I think they will tie the value of the crypto to their local currency until it gains more adoption.
Why is everyone thinking that they are embracing bitcoin, if any country is coming up with their centralized coin even with a blockchain why would anyone follow that path and start adopting their stupid currency, for them to monitor all your transactions  Roll Eyes. May be the government is looking this crypto craze as an opportunity to have complete control over their citizens and we should not fall for that trap.
